I went in for my courtesy service on a Sunday after making an appointment at the last minute. When I pulled into the service area and walked inside, I told Jeffrey Morgan that I had a 1:00 pm appointment and he said "no you don't." That caught me off guard and I couldn't find any words to respond. Then he said "I'm just kidding" and I had to laugh. He quickly filled out the paperwork, took my keys, told me they were out of vanilla coffee and showed me the waiting area. I had already had 2 cups off coffee before I got there so it wasn't a big deal for me. My wait time wasn't long at all and Jeffrey made sure that all the paperwork was taken care of before he even called me to let me know my car was finished. AND, I got a free car wash to boot! :) Oh, and it really helps that they have the TVs, free popcorn machine, and free coffee/hot coca machines because my daughter wanted to take advantage of everything and it kept her from getting bored. read more

An oil change can be a real pain, with the time it takes and all. Not here at Carson Nissan! I actually enjoy my 3 month visit. All the staff are friendly. Big, nice, comfortable couches to relax while your car is serviced. And free popcorn! I had the pleasure of being helped by Roberto Romero recently. He came out immediately and was courteous and professional. He quickly got my info and apologized for the wait beforehand because there were a few cars ahead of me. Roberto came out in about 30 minutes! Hardly a long wait. He explained what was done and gave some recommendations. We had a nice casual conversation and I was off. It was like visiting a friend. Sadly disappointment at the service provided at the Service/Parts department. I was just in an accident and I asked to see how much it would cost to replace a side mirror. Unfortunately, they are unable to assist you without VIN information and the customer service drops off. They could've priced different prices and added a disclaimer like " these are just estimates it may change once you have an opportunity to provide your VIN number." No empathy. Not very familiar with dealerships, but I know that if I have an appointment, someone is going to be there to assist me. I had an appointment and when I got there the person had already left for the day ( the manager by the way) . The employees seemed so confused at first and later they sent someone else to help me. I DID NOT hear any apology the whole time or anything about the weird incident . I didn't buy anything because I felt rushed by this person (of course I wasn't on his schedule he wanted to finish with me soon). The person I had spoken first on the phone said they're willing to negotiate prices, but when I got there I was told that that isn't possible moreover, the add a list of sketchy fees to the vehicle that added $8000 more. I understand it's a business but I was told something different over the phone and it made me mad, In addition to the fact that the person left for the day before my appointment which I considered very very unprofessional. I bought my Juke at Carson Nissan five years ago. I brought it to the service dept. there for all regular maintenance for the first three years, and then I went closer to where I lived. ( Miss ya Larry ) I wanted to bring it back to Carson Nissan for my 50,000 tune up/check. It was making some noises and needed some small regular maintenance. Carson Nissan this is by far the worst experience I have had in life and I am going to do everything in my power to make sure you never do anything like this to someone else. I bought a 2019 Nissan kicks vehicle and I have had nothing but Problems with it since purchasing it. They have replaced an alternator and a radio. Now recently after replacing my radio the car started glitching more, the key didn't want to start putting me at risk to injure me and my family. Today in the middle of driving the car cut off on me, it started back up and when I pulled up to the house the check engine light came on. I proceeded to call and they want me to dish out money for a rental Vehicle. So I pay a car note on a lemon vehicle that you sold me, that's been in the shop more than 10 times and now I have to dish out money for a rental. This is something no one should have to go through especially buying their first car, I came to the lot to get a reliable vehicle. And EVERYTIME I turn around something else is wrong with the vehicle. And I have to dish out money for a rental? How about sell people Cars that actually work And than I wouldn't have to rent ANYTHING!!! And your saying there is absolutely nothing you can do to help me? read more

I'll give 2 stars for the car itself being in mostly good condition and a decent value in spite of the games they played with the negotiating. However, I'd suggest avoiding Luis Pereira and whoever he answers to based on my experience. He played nice when I met him and I was courteous and professional throughout even when they tried to drag out the negotiating with some bad faith attempts. When it came time to deliver the car, that's when the bad faith really started. He showed up without even a spare and we came to find out a couple weeks later at the locksmith to get a spare made that the key lock on the passenger side was broke. I politely explained the situation to Luis to give him a chance to do the right thing. The repair isn't even that expensive. All I got in return were lies and ultimately he did absolutely nothing to try and remedy the situation. If he or Carson Nissan want to dispute this, I have the text messages that verify what I'm saying is 100% true. Not once did I disrespect them in anyway and that's exactly what I got in return from Luis and Carson Nissan. In my situation, I can handle what I need to do here but I wanted to post this review as a warning to others who go to Carson Nissan to watch out for this guy and whoever he answers to because if they're willing to pull this, who knows what else they'd try to pull? read more

I've never written a review before or felt the need to but after today I know it's time. So I bought a car here 2 years ago and was told that I would receive complimentary service and a car wash. I was contacted by my sales guy about 3 months ago for a check in and he let me know that I still have that free service. So my friend needs a new car and likes mine and I told her all about the incredible service I received when I first purchased my car. They had barbecues and such a lively atmosphere of course I wold recommend this place and I got a great deal. I make a service appointment over the phone and SPECIFICALLY asked for the complimentary service and car wash and I was okayed. They looked me up in the system and made my appointment. Now I live all the way in Fontana so me and my friend drive all the way from Fontana to get my car serviced while she purchases a new car. Now when we first pull up to service the lady looks into the system and says that I don't have a complimentary service . I'm confused cause we scheduled the appointment for a complimentary service. She tells me to speak to the finance manager. I go in and ask the receptionist to speak to the finance manager and she says ok and to have a seat. Mind you the atmosphere is DULL and I see a lot of workers walking around and no help not even any acknowledgement except for one man. After we wait for like 15 mins my friend goes and ask the only approachable person where is the manager and he gets him. I let the manager know everything that has taken place and how my friend is looking to get a car and there was no service. He didn't apologize or offer anything or any help NOTHING. It turns out that after I bought my car they sold the place and is under new management. This new management is horrible whoever they are. My friend who came with me didn't even want to get a car after the horrible service they provided us. I ended up getting a recall service done and when I went to pick up my car they tried to give me a Sentra when I came in with a Altima. Then the service guy is going to tell me that this is my car. All around service was horrible. First I come all the way for a complimentary service that they refused to give because they are under new management and when I do get service they want to give me the wrong car! At this point Carson Nissan will never be an option. With all these other options of car dealerships I suggest you go somewhere that truly wants your business and acts like it. read more

Recently purchased a 2018 Nissan Rogue SV as a certified preowned car that is still under the factory extended warranty. I took my car here for a few concerns as the dealership I purchased the car from did not have any available slots. I had a few issues with the parking break, car not shifting smooth, front passenger seat vibrates a lot during an idle, key fob saying 'incorrect key ID' then shutting the car off either getting into the car or remote starting, and fuel consumption. Before the techs could even look at my car, I was told I would need to pay $145 per issue with the car as this is how the service techs are paid. If there is an issue with the car that is covered by the warranty they will fix at no charge and no service fee. I was told the car adjust to my driving and this is why my fuel consumption is getting lower. I did my first fill up and my miles to empty where set at 399. Since my last two fill ups I have lost about 60 to 80 miles on each fill up and seems to be getting lower and lower. This does not seem normal for the fuel to keep going down like that on each fill up and for the car not running smooth feel there is an issue here. To bad the service station was not more helpful and getting my car sorted. Not sure I have a warranty if I can not get any help from a Nissan dealership. Maybe since I did not buy the car from them. I am treated as any normal person with no warranty. read more

I came to this Nissan to look for a slightly bigger car to buy after my husband and I were rear ended in my Nissan Versa by drunk driver on the freeway driving a Toyota Tundra! We woke up in the emergency room and thankfully we are ok! The 2017 Nissan Rogue had great safety reviews and it is bigger than the versa I used to have. I first walked in there with my husband and a salesman asked if we needed help. Unfortunately he wasn't very much help and if anything, he made me feel discouraged about being able to afford the car I wanted. At that point he gave us his card and left. We were starring at the 2017 Rogue I wanted. Of course it was the top one. But I thought if I'm going to buy the car I want I'm going to get the best one. As we were standing there bummed out heading back to our car another salesman named Eric "happy" Nevarez ran into us while we were heading out. He asked if we needed anything. We told him that we had one more question but the other salesman gave us his card and left. He said he could help us. He had a much better attitude and he made us feel like it was possible. Eric had us go inside to check my credit which is just under 800. So I had no problem. Eric brought us to Ruben Garcia who was also very kind and helped me with all the little gadgets on my new car. I love my car so much! If it wasn't for running into Eric just before we were about to leave, I definitely wouldn't of gotten a car that day with how the first salesman made me feel. I was a first time car buyer and I went down the street to WIN Chevrolet and I one of the worst experiences of my car buying life. The car I wanted from the Chevorlet dealership was a nissian altima. Following their terrible customer service I figured since I want a Nissan might as well go to the Nissan dealership. When I first arrived at Nissan I was greeted by Jorge and Yensenia. First, I test drove a few cars with Yesenia, she was amazing with great people skills. She was a huge influence on helping me decide which car I wanted. Also Jorge was a tremendous help, I told him exactly what car I wanted and he found an altima that was a year newer, fewer miles and most importantly a CPO with a factory warranty. Terrible terrible... I have never been so humiliated in my life before. I am Mexican American and have never been stereotyped to my face. My hubby and I came to look at the Nissan Leaf to lease and the Leaf specialist that was helping us totally racially profiled me, saying that the Leaf is for specific customers with excellent credit. He works with these people all the time they are "his bread and butter" but he can't sell me one because he won't be able to deliver it to me until July or August of this year. He says I'm not stereotyping but I know that you HAVE to have EXCELLENT credit. Who is to say I don't, he also had the guts to say the payments would be to high for me. WTF?? He kept giving me excuse after excuse as to why he wouldn't be able to sell me the car. Needles to say he never even walked me to the general area where the Leaf's are housed. I didn't even get a test drive or get to touch it. Good thing know what I'm looking for, I've driven a couple before and today was the day I was ready to buy. Just because I'm Mexican I don't get the same treatment as your "bread and butter" customers ? This was an okay/less than average purchase experience for a new car. When I first arrived to the dealership I was dead-on to buying a Versa with a TrueCar recommended price I printed out. Eric, the salesperson that was helping me with the car purchase, let me test drive the vehicle and was friendly overall but was a bit hasty and had a condescending tone when I asked him questions about the car, like if I didn't knew anything or that I was gullible. But my main concern was that I didn't want to get ripped off with a problem vehicle since this was my first time purchasing a new car! Right after going through a qualification check (i.e. credit pull, proof of income, etc.) to finance that Versa, Eric walks out of the room we were in and talks to the finance manager, Mehdi, for a while, almost half an hour, so they can try and sell me another car. They showed me the base model Sentra, since I had a "better promotion" for it. I actually liked the car and knew that the price was a bit higher for my budget than the Versa, but sadly it had the same exact incentive and there was nothing different about it, but stuck with it anyway. I assumed they wanted me to forget the TrueCar price since it was a bit below msrp, but fortunately I managed to look up the recommended price of the Sentra at the moment they were calculating the estimate for it. Right when the finance worker was about to finalize my estimate, which was too damn high for me to consider buying, I showed him the truecar recommended price for the Sentra, so he then asked Mehdi for approval. He was hesitant and aggressive about it but managed to agree to a grand more above that estimate, and apparently my APR was cut in half after they lowered the price... ridiculous. I honestly felt that this was orchestrated and they knew what I was about to do so that I would feel that I was getting a bargain lol. Being aware of signing papers quickly, and trying to prevent getting swayed to buying things I don't really need, one of the mistakes I've made there was purchasing an extended warranty since the car I was buying didn't really need it, since it's brand new and all. Removing the extended warranty was difficult but eventually got refunded on time, though the refund won't show up on your car statement until months after. One thing about this dealership is they would not stop asking you to rate them a perfect score on the dealer rater website! Even the manager was asking me about it, since they went through the "effort" of lowering the price of the car. I eventually did, but it was much more of a pity review lol. Overall this was a subpar dealership to buy my first car in. Some of the employees here had unpleasant characters, and me being reticent seemed to make the situation tense. I should've gone for a Honda across their lot instead. Maybe it could've turned out for better or worse, but at least customer service would've been better there! read more

I leased a 2014 Nissan Rogue last year. My customer service the day I leased the car was exceptional. Along with the warranty, I was told that my tires would also be covered if something were to ever happen. Recently, I had a small nail caught in my tire and fortunately was still able to pump air every few days until I was able to go to the dealer. Long story short, I go to Carson Nissan expecting a fix/ replacement, and they tell me they can't fix it because of where the nail is on the tire. I get a quote for a new tire for almost $300. Not only that, I'm told I am only allowed to put Continental tires on my car. I told them that if they're charging me that much for one tire, I'm going to put whatever tire I damn well please. I then ask to speak to a manager on duty so I can explain was I was told when I first got the car. They send me a sales rep who seemingly was new and let's me know what the manager said to tell me. Told me to check my contract. So the manager on duty that day sent me to hell basically. I then just hoped that my tire guy could fix it. He did. For $12. This is my first new car purchase. I could've been with Nissan for years. I'm young and if they would've put forth some real customer service and worked with me or done something for me, I would've kept my business loyal. Never again. After this lease is up, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

My husband had an appointment for an oil change and he sat there for 30 mins before anyone even helped him or acknowledged him. Many employees walked right by him and pretended to not even see him. Then he got his oil changed and they did not put the sticker on his windshield on when his next oil change is supposed to be or even let him know when his next oil change is. Then they "washed" his truck and did a horrible  job on it, it was still dirty when they gave it back to him then when it came to pay the pregnant girl at the register was rude and not polite she looked like she hated her job and basically threw my husband's change at him. He would not go back ever but because his truck is a lease he has to get his service through Nissan and this is the only Nissan close to us. As for customer service it was the worse we encountered. This review only applies to the sales staff, not the service, which I've heard is excellent and possibly worth considering if you need warranty service on your Nissan. Back to the sales staff. We pull into Carson Nissan after seeing its high Yelp rating and large selection of new and used vehicles listed online. We were open to either a good certified used deal or a new vehicle but only if the price was right. We've done our homework. We know what our finances can accommodate. We have a trade-in and a big chunk to put down, which together amount to 70% of our target price range. We know that we can find a car that will give us a low monthly payment, and it's just a matter of finding the right deal from the right dealer at the right price for the right car. Sales guy homes in on us about 1.5 seconds after our feet hit the parking lot. During the whole walk around the lot and the one test drive we went on, he talks a good game about how his company is so much better than all the others and they don't do high pressure sales: they make you an offer of a specific number on a specific car and then you say yea or nay. Sounds good in principle, but then he immediately gets us on the fast track to buy a car that costs way more than we'd said we were willing to pay, for a monthly that was over twice what we'd said we were interested in doing. To make matters worse, he told us he needed to have an employee get our mileage from the car we wanted to trade in (and that he'd need our keys for "just a minute"), but twenty minutes later as we're still getting a succession of blowhard sales jerks giving us one angle after another on buying a new car TODAY, after we've already made it clear what our parameters were (which they couldn't give us) and that we were going to at least one more place to comparison shop before making a final decision (which clearly they wanted to get in the way of). We ask what's taking so long with our keys, and they say, "oh yeah, those will be right out. Now about this payment plan and our financing on a 2011 bla bla bla..." I'm not sure when I got fed up with how we were treated, like a sales target, instead of a potential customer making what is arguably one of the most important financial decisions they'll make that year. It was probably around the third time our main sales guy came back through the stew room to reassure us that our keys and car were fine and he didn't know what was taking so long, and he tells me, "Oh, you have nothing to worry about whatsoever. Everything's great here." It's precisely when I'm being told that by a salesman that I become especially skeptical, because it's usually a lie. When they sense that we're not responding to their sales pitch to sign on the dotted line right away, they turn it into, "Well, you like the car, don't you?" (pouty sad sales face) and "What can we say to make you buy a car from us... today?" (smarmy smooth talking sales face) I finally had to ask them point blank, "Can we go?"... when it was obvious they were just interested in meeting their numbers for the day and not finding us an option on a car we were interested in and that would actually work for our budget. They looked a little stunned, and we asked one more time for our car keys back. It was like flipping a switch. As soon as they realized we were serious about going somewhere else before we made a final decision, they couldn't get us out of the showroom fast enough. The store manager who effusively gladhanded us on the way in (who was absent from the preceding shenanigans, to be fair) asked us on our way out "Did you get some good information from my team?", to which we replied, "Yes, we found out everything we need to know." Customer relations department is very nice to speak with regarding salesmen insulting and belittling me and my wife. Kevin said my car didn't mean anything to them and isn't worth 1000. I wanted to wait for my appraisal and talk numbers , his response was I can't afford the vehicle I was looking at. Regardless of my situation and my payments, his attitude was very bad , rude right off the bat when I didn't want to finance through the dealer. I made an urgent scheduled appointment due to my engine light had come on the previous evening. When I arrived that morning, Daniel which is one of the Advisors was waiting for me and checked me in. He assure me he would have some information to give me within the hour regarding my car. Within 45 minutes he found me sitting in the waiting area and with s smile on his face he informed me of the minor problem and stated it's being repaired and I should be out of there within 20 minutes.
