I purchased my car here in 2018 November. Came in today for my first service. Made an appointment for 1030... I arrived at service 1020 and am next in the line of cars parked.... was told to stay in my vechicle until my service person approaches me. You see service people just standing around socializing with fellow co.workers. I get that every employee has a designated job however it's been 20 minutes and NO one has came. Maybe this is considered a short wait time... I don't know... but now I wonder how long the wait will be without an appointment. Although I have not yet been assisted to I am hoping this Honda service location will give me to something to look forward to in the future in terms of 'servicing' my car since this location is ten minutes away from my job. read more

Just bought my 2013 Honda Accord here. My sales rep., Cesar was friendly and polite. He's a young guy which may explain why he's not jaded as other reps I've encountered elsewhere. Once I made up my mind on what I liked he never tried to persuade me into something different. His manager was also nice and polite. When they turned down my initial offer they sent me away with a smile as I found the experience to be quite pleasant ( I know... crazy! After all my offer was rejected). So I continued my search. My next best stop was Honda World who actually beat Carson but still not what I wanted to pay. Needless to say, Cesar called and agreed to my offer. They played hard ball a little but that's expected, I just stuck to my guns as I felt my price was reasonable. I will refer my friends and family. I realize not everyone has the same experience but as long as they keep employees like Cesar around they will continue to have loyal customers. I'm hoping their service dept. is just as great. I will update this review when I cross that bridge. read more

I hate dealerships and their pushy salesperson but I don't have the problem here. Mike Ramirez is the sweetest sales guy ever. He was so nice to my mom who can be very OCD. She literally had them line up three different colors of the same car for her to look at. He satisfy that request with no complaints at all. He also gave us new car goodies and ice cream/coffee/water at no extra charge. Tip: do not cave...they can always give you a better deal. read more

I was contacted by Kathren in the Used Car Department as she was interested in purchasing my 2010 Nissan Cube. She was extremely polite and efficient. The price quoted was a fair price (lower than I wanted, of course ... but fair) for our car. There was no pressure on us to purchase another vehicle (we already had bought it at another dealership). We drove over to turn the car in -- she had all the paperwork organized and ready: in and out of the dealership in just a few minutes. As promised, we were able to pick up a check the next business day! Would gladly buy or sell another vehicle through Kathren and through Carson Honda! read more

It's been probably about four months now since I've been shopping for a new vehicle. I wanted to really weigh out my options, so I wouldn't have to worry about having car problems within the next 5 - 7 years The Honda Accord wasn't really something I gave much thought.. Toyota Camry Kia Optima and the Audi a5 was more when I was leaning to. It was my third dealership that day, so soon as I pulled up in the lot Ramon approached me. Not only he was knowledgeable but he was very direct with the offers and savings we were going to add to our list that day, we went for a test drive and I was immediately hooked, it just has so much to offer with all the amenities and features, Ramon even went out of his way to make sure to make sure I was making the right decision just so I wouldn't have any regrets as soon as paperworks were finalized. He encouraged me to walk over to the Toyota dealership just to see how the Toyota Camry would suit me. It was such a major disappointment, I've had different Toyota Camrys and the 2016 model just didn't impress me, for example the software in the monitor that would prompt the reverse camera looks cheaply done and old, the representative was dancing around the questions It became such a waste time. So I walked right back to the Honda dealership and here we are. Thanks Ramon read more

Carson Honda - Not bad to start the new year - Auto Repair Near Me - Carson, California

Went to Carson Honda as a first time buyer and they treated us very well when they received us. We initially came in to test drive a model i saw online but it was sold the previous day (would have been nice for a heads up regarding this as my test drive was already scheduled) however, we did ended up test driving a different color of the same model and after looking at everything on it - decided to purchase it. Now the credit part was a bit confusing. We filled out all the necessary paperwork and they attempted to run our credit but they mentioned that our Experian report was 'locked' - possibly by an app or service. When we log in online, it shows not locked - when we called Experian up they said it was not locked so i'm not sure what the sales manager (didn't catch his name, he was bald) was doing wrong on his end to run our credit. In the end, the sales team said they would use one of the other reports instead. I didn't have much confidence in said sales manager but when we got to meet the Financing manager we were put at ease. He informed us that they were able to run our Experian report with no problem (not sure what the bald sales manager did incorrect). The finance manager was really easy to talk to and let us know in depth all of our options (ended up purchasing extended warranty based on his recommendation). Was originally going to go to Long Beach Honda but did not see a lot of inventory/variety on the model i was looking for so i went to Carson Honda instead and was not disappointed. All I can say is to make sure your salesman is clear about what they are doing and saying - ask lot of questions and if needed, talk to their superior. Overall great first-time buying experience and I know i have a car that will last. Thank you. read more

i had a great experience selling my 328i BMW at Carson Honda. I was reluctant to try to sell the car at a dealership, but I was contacted by Catherine in their used car department, and her service level was great. She assured me the experience would not be a typical used car selling experience and she was right. She even drove me back to my house after my car was sold to them! I got a great value and it was a painless experience read more

The service department sucks! My dad and I called about the recall on my car's airbag three times and they always said that they would get to it. It has been a year and they NEVER got to it! We got tired of it and eventually went to the Honda in Torrance on Crenshaw and they got to it immediately. I am never coming back to this Honda for service again. I'm going to the one in Torrance. read more

Basic review about this dealer. Helped my bro get a used 2012 civic from this dealer. Over all a good dealer to buy a car from. They have a big lot, clean place. Nice inside, staff very helpful and polite. I found a 2012 civic for my bro and called them to make sure it was still there, the sales guy went out to check and got back to me as promised. Car was as advertised, 1000 under blue book, nice , and all good. They did a ok job working a deal with us, and I felt we did ok as far as %APR and car price. They could have done a little better , my bro was a first time buyer with ok credit, but It took a few tries to get the payments what we needed them to be. But once we got that finalized all was good. They did try to sell us a bunch of lame "security" and "extra coverage" that are always a bad idea. But that's how dealers work, other than that this was a good place to go. I would go back here again. read more

Let me start off by saying that before you take your time to drive here, you're better off just going to a different Honda. They will tell you they will work with you and tell you how many different options they can assist you with if you come down to the dealership. BUNCH OF LIES!!!! I had been talking to Leslie Razo in regards to my future purchase, since August of last year. I had told them i wanted to trade in my current civic that i had, the current condition and mileage. They even quoted me how much they could give me for the car over the phone and what my payment was going to look like with the new car and what i would be upside down in. Before going to the dealer I told Leslie we would turn in a credit application ahead of time for my wife and I because we have a 3 month old baby and wanted to try to make sure we could do anything to avoid being there for a long time. It all sounded great until we got there, everyone's story changed, the numbers that we had talked over the phone this whole time were different. After they kept giving me the run around, I decided to not to take the deal they were trying to offer. What's even funnier is that I reached out to Leslie after I left to thank her for her time, and never got a response lol. Guess it shows what kind of company this dealer is. read more

Decided to make our first stop here not thinking we would commit to a car just yet. We were greeted by a friendly representative Lucas who ended up being such great help. Went here two weeks ago, saw a car I liked, drove it, and wanted to negotiate price, they would not negotiate the price with me whatsoever, there was plenty of room for negotiations, and I did my homework before I even walked in the Facility. I am not going to mention names of the Salesman / Manager that assisted me, however, due to this I walked out and went elsewhere.....I just bought a 2012 Nissan X-Terra from Gardena Nissan last night, with less miles, a year newer and they dropped the price $2K for me, and even threw in a free oil change for my other vehicle, now that's what Im talking about, good business savvy!Carson Honda lost this sale due to greed, I'm sure they will make it up on the next Buyer, however, that isn't the point, the point is you have to give to get! read more

I purchased my Civic at Carson Honda from Blake Buettner a few months back (fantastic car, couldn't be happier). He was extremely knowledgeable and patient; I really had no idea which car I wanted at the time. Blake presented the features of the compact suv models and the smaller fuel efficient models. I slept on it and returned the following day to pick up my new vehicle which I love. Recently I had a maintenance prompt on my dashboard. Blake send me a step by step instructional text and video he made while in the exact car model I own. Basically, Blake ensured a goof proof plan for the technically challenged (yours truly). Essentially he spared me the need to take time out of my busy schedule and bring my car in. It is refreshing to have someone go above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate the customer's needs. I am very impressed with Carson Honda for employing people like Blake Buettner because he is a stellar example of top notch customer service. read more

If you want to deal with good sales people, get in touch with Ozzy and Jenna (e-sales)... Start with e-sales and request Jenna. She is the best e-sales person I have dealth with. This is not my first rodeo (22nd car purchase). Also ...After a few bitter meetings with other floor sales people at carson honda, I was finally able to deal with Ozzy (this is before I was communicating with Jenna and before I was really serious in buying). Ozzy is not the fake BS type. Just a nice guy that knows his product. Everyone else I dealth with were clueless on what they are selling and fake. I got a very good price. A good enough deal that I didn't wait till I sold my car and clear some debt first. So please do yourself a favor and go straight to Jenna (e-sales). After your happy with the details/price with her, she will hand it off to a sales person, in my case, it was Ozzy. Good team. If it wasn't for the others I dealth with, Carson Honda would be a 5 star. I also forgot a key point. My finance manager was good as well. I didn't get pushed on to add BS. Also Sales Manager was a nice and honest guy as well. read more

Hi I had received a recall notice in the mail for my 2013 Honda Accord EX-L. I bring it in to Carson Honda and get blessed with "Brooke Shelton". She is amazing! She explained what the recall was, the dangers, the need to have it replaced, as well as answering any other questions I had. She had me in and out, I live literally right next to the dealership so I walked home, even though the wait time was less than 45 min. As soon as my car was done and called me and I came back. She examined the report she received from the technician who served my car, explaining in detail how good my car was up to date on maintenance. She is so pleasant, so thorough with a passion for her job. We even joked about us both saving to get the new Honda Accords, she has a 2013 Honda Accord as well. I think on my way out, I hugged her like 2 times lol. She's so great! I will definitely be back for any maintenance needs I may have. Making sure Brooke, is the one helping me every single time! Thank u Brooke! read more

TLDR: Great employees horrible service management A few weeks ago I bought my first car. A used 2014 Honda Civic. I met with Alejandro and he was patient with me and answered all my questions. He helped make me feel better about a big financial decision without making me feel I was being manipulated. He even came in on his day off to check the car and make sure it was ready before I picked it up. Superb service! A few days after I took the car home I realized the windshield wiper pump wasn't working properly. I contacted Alejandro and he promptly made me an appointment with the service department to get it fixed at no cost. When I brought my car into the service department my service advisor was Brooke Shelton. They did the initial inspection and realized they had to order parts so I picked up my car and a few days later Brooke called me to report that the parts arrived so I brought it back. She was very kind and helpful and apologetic when there was a mix up and the parts did not actually arrive yet. It was annoying and inconvenient but her customer service was so good it wasn't a big deal. Another week went by and I brought it in again assured the parts I needed had arrived. To my disappointment I waited in my car for an hour before being helped. I was extremely upset and frustrated. I just bought this car and I went to the dealership 3 times in a week, this kind of service is not acceptable. Brooke was incredibly understanding and was so disarming that I was not frustrated anymore. She took care of me right away and kept me updated on the status of my car until it was fixed. It is clear that the management in the service department is severely lacking. But it is also clear that the cause is not bad employees or bad customer service, it is a bad system that is not designed to be efficient. Alejandro and Brooke's excellent customer service is the ONLY reason I give this location 4 stars and not 1. read more

Worth the short drive from the OC. Was greeted promptly and by a friendly salesman Cesar. I showed him the car I had seen online and he knew right where it was. Long story short, found an even better one and then went inside the office to see the numbers $. It was about 2g out of my budget and I was going to walk away. Then Lewis and Dean the sales manager were very motivated to help me get into this car. I laughed when Dean asked to run my credit app because I thought my score was too low to get financing. He reassured me to just try. A miracle happened and I was approved for the balance that I needed to pay. Not only that he explained to me how I could help fix my credit and improve my score. He took all the "SCARY" out of it. I was so nervous and couldn't believe I was really going home with a beautiful pre-owned 2016 accord. Even the finance dept. guy sorry don't remember his name was super helpful & explained everything I was signing. Cezar even synced up my iPhone to the car before I drove home. I would recommend CARSON HONDA to anyone but especially to people like me with less than stellar credit. read more

Went in last month to Trade in my old vehicle for a new CRV. I made an appointment to have my old Vehicle Appraised at 9am and was help instantly by a friendly sales man named Miguel. He made sure my experience was easy and quick . He also helped me get into my new Vehicle same day . I can really appreciate mikes work because he wasn't trying to be like every other sales man who talks about vehicles and giving false facts about them. I mentioned to him I wanted a Fully loaded Top of the line CRV in a specific color and that's exactly what he delivered . Talked to me about features that I didn't know the car had . ( I already knew what I wanted , just missed some key features) .he wasn't pushy at all . He was very brief on the whole experience. I recently had to switch locations to where I take my Honda to get serviced. I called 2 different days at different times throughout both days and couldn't get any answer for a price on a service I needed on my car. I found it completely unprofessional that I kept calling and getting forwarded to different peoples voicemails and after leaving 2 with no response I was in the area and stopped by. Upon stopping by they told me they would not take any non appointment vehicles which ok I understand although I have taken my car without appointment before but ok, I then asked if I could make an appointment and get the pricing since I was there in person NO HELP. I was told everyone was in a meeting, ok so basically there was nobody there helping customers in any which way. I was asked to leave my name and number and that I would get a call back, did I ? No. I took my Honda elsewhere where I was able to get pricing over the phone and schedule an appointment within minutes. Will not be returning to this location, not sure what has happened. read more

I went to Honda Carson yesterday and let me tell you it was a great experience. I have had a few new cars in my life and your always stuck at the dealers forever. I was helped by Oliver Quintanilla and I can tell you I give him a 10+. He showed me the cars and told me about them. We went on a test drive and he kept explaining features on the vehicle as we drove off. When we got back the progress of negotiating and getting the approval was very fast. Oliver was a really good help on pushing to get the approval. I was so happy I wasn't stuck there for hours. Francisco was also great and he was helpful on explaining the gap insurance and extra protections they offer. I ended leaving with a Honda Civic that I honestly didn't plan on leaving with and I'm in LOVE. Thank you Oliver for all the help and making this happen. read more

So I brought my car in for a recall with the electric breaks in my 2016 Honda Civic. I drop off my car and return thinking there was no issue but notice that my seat has been readjusted so I fix it back and carry on with my errands for the day. When I return to my car I notice that there is a HUGE grease mark on my beige seats! I immediately call Honda and was put on hold multiple times to (never speaking to a representative that could help) only have my call "mysteriously dropped" 3 times... I was told apparently that everyone was busy and no one could help me with my problem. So I hop in my car and drive back down to the dealership to get my seat issue resolved. I am left waiting in my car watching everyone around me and those that pull up behind me get helped and no one comes to my service until 15 minutes of waiting...I was greeted by a lady I assumed to be the manager (very helpful and the only reason I rated them a 2 as opposed to a 1) She apologizes and gets my seat cleaned back to the way it was when I first brought my car in less then 10 minutes. Needless to say I WILL NOT be returning to Carson Honda. read more
