Bought car here couple of years ago, needed a part under warranty. According to the service writer, I needed 4 new tires, new brake pads and a wheel alignment. Mario Lopez was the service writer, maybe 30 years old, sales man, just couldn't work on me. When I started I just wanted the under warranty repair, he stated the part is nowhere in stock at any dealership anywhere. But, the warehouse for Honda is in the next town, but they had the part in stock at 0700 hours on Wednesday the next day. This wasting 2 days for a simple parts exchange. Mario made it sound I would crash if I didn't change the pads out on the brakes, I took the wheels off and used akebono pads, the best money could but. With alot of room on them on the old pads. Sales sales sales is what Hondas is all about, not service. read more

I recently purchased a 2018 Accord from this dealership. I had shopped around for 3 months and no one was even close to the agreed upon price. I was done in 2 1/2 hours, start to finish. They even had the salesperson drive my old car to my house in Huntington Beach and a second person pick him up so I wouldn't be burdened with driving all the way back to the dealership. Top shelf service. read more

I recently leased my 4th car from this place. I keep coming back because it's like visiting family. Always treated with respect and their patience is unparalleled. Jose Diaz assured me I was getting the best deal. I never felt pressured or manipulated (as I've felt before at other dealerships). He was incredibly knowledgeable. All my questions and concerns were answered without hesitation. I will definitely continue recommending this dealership to everyone I know. read more

I had it the worst experience at this place. If you are trying to buy a car don't even come here to waste your time. They told me they could not finance me a car that is worth $23,000 but they definitely can finance a car that is worth $30,000. They just want to sell you what they want to sell. Didn't even took the time to try and see if I could be finance to get the $ 23,000 car because that was not the car they wanted to sell. And once I told them I didn't want the pilot for $30,000 they started to get so rude and offensive (uneducated like I told them). read more

Certified Used Honda's are joke. The certified Element drove Ok, but had issues. When I looked under the front right side, it was covered in motor oil. It also had a good ding on the door that they said they would do us the favor and fix it. Pushed us to drive off the lot and come back to fix. Must think we were stupid. Does Honda Corporation only emphasize quality new cars and not the used one's ? read more

I had to write this because I have had poor service and sales help from many car dealers. At Carson Honda, however, I found something that doesn't exist at very many car dealerships. Service and a great salesman. I had called earlier about a used 2006 Honda CRV and when I drove up and introduced myself, the salesman said that Sebastian H. was already in the car and driving it up for us to inspect. I have no idea how they knew it was the car I was interested in (even though I had called earlier). The car was what I wanted, but needed front tires and the dealership agreed and payed for them. I was in finance very quickly and the Finance Manager, Ali Hassas got me through the process in the fastest amount of time I have ever done a deal. Seeing that I have purchased many cars and trucks, I was amazed. I had one problem and that was that the radio wouldn't play. I thought I was going to have to spend a fortune to get it working. I should have checked it out before I bought, but Sebastian, the salesman from heaven told me to bring it back. I did and they found a code that got the radio working like new. The price? $0. If you are looking for a great deal, salesman who cares and a finance manager who knows his business, take my advice and go to Carson Honda and ask for these two professionals. I did and I'm very happy with my purchase. Can you say the same about your previous car encounters? read more

I drove home today with a brand new 2014 Honda Pilot leased from Carson Honda. Everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful. However, I should give credit to my Sales Consultant, Terzo Pallen, for making the whole process as easy and stress-free for me. I love, love my new car!!!! Renee B. PV Estates read more

First off let me say that buying a car can be very stressful. If you are looking for a new Honda I recommend Carson Honda without any hesitation. "Ozzy," Dean, Ray and the entire staff at Carson Honda made my experience as smooth as possible. After spending weeks looking for a new car, previously I have only owned Toyota's, I settled on a Honda Civic EX after the test drive. The ride is smooth, the cabin is spacious and the car comes better equipped than it's closest competitor in the price class. So began the age old price comparison war and haggling with dealers. Thankfully things have gotten easier with TrueCar and Edmunds. I had contacted several other dealers and even driven 45 miles out of my way to the valley, to a dealer that rhymes with "Schmmalpin,"for a bait and switch on the price quote I was given via email. Four hours later and some inappropriate comments form the sales staff we walked out for the second time on a deal. Lucky for me after telling a friend my story he steered me to Carson Honda. I had already received some fairly competitive offers and was going to have to swallow my pride and head back to one of the previous dealers despite the poor customer buy decided to try Carson. I reached out to Carson Honda and explained my situation, Dean and I exchanged two phone calls and I had an offer in my mailbox in writing with everything spelled out for me within an hour. Fast forward three hours. I arrive at the dealer and my car is at the door with my name in the window. I was greeted by "Ozzy," who walked me in set me up at a table and Dean, with whom I set up the deal, came over and walked us through the entire process. No haggling on price, no trying to back peddle. The deal was the deal. What a relief. All this to say that I am two days i to owning this car and happy to say that Carson Honda has made me a believer in the Honda brand. read more

While traveling to CA from LV, my car check engine light came on and car began to lack speed. I must admit, I'm extremely reluctant to trust ANYONE at a car dealership, especially while traveling to a different state. Gratefully, I met Glenn, service manager. I truly appreciate his straight forwardness; professionalism and his ability to effectively communicate without making me feel as if he was trying to sell me unnecessary services. I'm not sure if anyone at Carson Honda reads these reviews but I'm hoping that Glenn receives the recognition that he deserves. read more

Wow!! What can I Say, all 10's for this shop! First time I ever felt like someone really cared bout me and not just trying to take from me. Me and my wife bought a 2016 CRV. And we couldn't be happier. Dean and Keson took time with us were not pushy, and made us feel so calm and confident. Carson Honda has 3 bright lights. Dean Hayek, Keson, Kevin Click!! In my opinion are the guys to see! I'm sure all of the crew is outstanding but these guys stand out!! Thanks Carson Honda!! read more

We came in hoping for a car, which we got! A 2020 Honda Civic sport for $550 a month with 13.99 interest rate. A month later went to Long Beach Honda and same car they were giving us 0.1 apr! Mind boggling and VERY DISAPPOINTED! read more

stay far away from the dealership as you can! numbers continue to change even after running my credit and agreeing on a price. had to constantly contact them to see what was going on as im about 5 hours north of this place. ive never dealt with anyone in sales that you had to keep chasing as if you were the worker. every time i got a hold of them, the numbers changed and so did the deposit that was needed for the car. prior to running my credit and telling me my co-signer didnt need to physically be there to sign anything because it can all get mailed, then switched to "he has to be here physically" and then back to "he does not have to be here physically" but then somehow in order for them to send the paperwork, i had to put the non refundable deposit down first as well as a downpayment even though the car arrival to honda kept getting pushed back so i had no idea exactly how long the car will even take to get there for me to pick up. oh and also, somehow one day to the next, javier in sales got a new manager who then came and switched all the numbers and rules around again lol terrible stay far away! read more

I had to change my review because shortly after getting an oil change here, the bottom engine cover part that is removed for the oil change came loose and began to drag/bent. Upon contacting the dealer to inform them that I believed they hadn't installed it back correctly they inspected and pretty much said that it was my fault and I had caused that. They did the oil change in 20 min which at the time seemed like a plus, I really believe they did not secure everything back together in such a short time. read more

One of the worst experiences of all time especially for my FIRST time buying a car. I had to drive back here at least 5 times AFTER the fact of buying my car because they messed up so many things with paper work. Very unprofessional. A headache. And I tried getting a hold of the manger for 2 weeks straight with calls, voicemails and leaving messages with front desk and not a call back. I would recommend any other Honda dealership besides this one. Save yourself be headache. read more

I use to be a loyal customer at a different location. Never intended to come into this location because it's definitely kind of a distance from home. Despite only being there for suggestions on what my car might need, Manny was very thorough and explained the service I needed. I came back a few later and I couldn't be a nun happier. Manny and the technician went about and beyond to ensure my car was taken care of and with a great price. This is now my go to dealer to get my car serviced. read more

David Deguzman is nothing short of amazing!!!! Upon arrival, numerous salesman were standing outside. However, David was the ONLY individual to approach our family. Can't trust them anymore. Don't just rely on what they will tell you, get a second opinion.

My review is based on how we were treated.. first I'd like to Thank Sandra for trying to help us until she introduced us to another rep, would of been nice if he was actually the mgr. It is absolutely ridiculous for someone to try & make high commission in one single sale instead of building a relationship with the customer first. These guys ask for high down payments & high monthly payments for a Civic!! It is a 4-6 years commitment which means sales reps will continue to interact with the customer & if the customer feels welcomed he or she will refer others to whomever sold the vehicle to them. It is insane for them to try & make high commission in one sale instead of making fair commissions by making a few sales daily. Happy customer = good referrals = more sales = more money!! Your first goal shouldn't be about the money. Is it fair if I offered $2,500 down & anything under $300 a month for a Civic? It is a Civic for Christ sake!!! read more

GREAT experience at Carson Honda. I've bought Honda parts there before but had to take our 2010 Honda Insight there for the first time. They were very friendly, expeditious and honest. We thought there was something terribly wrong with the car after reviving it ourselves. (It sat unused for months during pandemic stay-at-home. By the warning lights, we thought that the main hybrid battery was too old and might need replacement. $$$$) They said NOPE. Just a backup fuse. They did a diagnostic check and drove it around with a clean bill of health. They charged us the normal diagnostic fee (very reasonable) but did not charge for the labor to fix it, nor did they charge us for the replacement fuse because they said they "just had an extra one" in the shop. SO NICE. We are usually skeptical of car dealerships and high-pressure sales businesses but we felt very well taken care of at the Carson Honda dealership. I need to mention: THEY DID NOT EVEN TRY TO SELL US A CAR. Sounds crazy but I respect them so much for just catering to our needs. When we are ready to buy a car, we will WITHOUT A DOUBT be returning to them for our Honda needs. I am HAPPY to continue giving them our business. Want to specifically mention Javier in the Service Department and everyone who received us when we arrived, as well as whomever worked on our little car! Thanks everybody! read more

Excellent Honda dealership! My experience with Carson Honda was great!! Calvin Oum, our sales man, was very helpful, patient and with a very good attitude!! Helped us get an awesome deal and beat pricing from other 3 dealerships! If you're looking for a car this is the place to go! Also they don't rush you into purchasing any extra items like other dealerships do! read more

Worst experience ever buying a used car that had a "clean carfax" and "one owner low miles" as listed on their website. I later learned the car had a front end collision and badly repaired with bad touch up paint that didn't match. The trunk would even open by itself when I backed up. It happened to me 3 times in a day. I wasn't even informed by the salesperson the car had been in a wreck when I bought it. They are very dishonest. Fake friendly. The carfax was fraudulent. Big mistake buying a car at night. I was taken advantage of and felt scammed so I took the car back and wanted to buy a new car. They told me I couldnt return it and made me feel intimated and trapped. They made me a deal to take the car back and sell me a new honda accord for a higher price than a different dealership I had already talked with. This dealership manager acted and told me they were doing me a favor. I refused to pay a higher price for a car I could get for less somewhere else. I have already filed a grievance with honda corporate and will call their general manager to file a grievance as well. Deceitful lying dealership. Dont buy a car here if you value your money. They will not give you the best deal and will not work with you or try to help you at all. 0 stars if I could. read more

My wife and I just leased a 2011 CRV from Carson Honda yesterday. After a pretty bad experience at the Toyota dealer next door we went in to the Honda dealer pretty road weary. I'm pleased to report however that the experience with Carson Honda was way better than the one we had just left. We were greeted at the door by Octavio Rodriguez and he was awesome. There was never any pressure and he was happy to answer all of our questions. His manager Javier was just as helpful closing the deal and the whole day was topped off by Ali, the finance guy, who was also respectful and didn't pressure us to get every bell and whistle under the sun. Carson Honda - Auto Repair Near Me - Carson, California

Outstanding Customer Service! Amazing price! Love our car! We keep bragging about it to all our friends! We have purchased three pre-owned certified Hondas in the last 7 years from various dealers, and this was by far the best service yet! We looked very seriously for over a month & found an incredible car being offered here at Carson on the internet. Since we lived far away, we wanted to do all of the legwork over the phone first. We were able to do all the financial work upfront over the phone, and the Carson Team was able to renegotiate our APR three times before we even made the trip out there- for a fantastic rate. They came down off the price too, and once we got there, they worked with our APR even more to help us purchase the warranty on our vehicle. We bought our Honda Accord two nights before Thanksgiving. We KNOW they were busy prepping for Black Friday, and we literally walked in as the dealership was closing in the middle of the week, but it was like they rolled out the red carpet for us; people stayed later, worked together, and got us out of there in a jiffy too. But they never rushed us either, they just let us know our time was valuable to them too. They showed us the details of the vehicle, helped us in every way they could, and really earned our respect and trust. Great job Carson Honda! I'm forgetting all the names of the crew, but the person who closed out the evening for us in finance was Osvaldo. Special thanks to he and the rest. It was a wonderful evening! After losing our previous Honda to an accident, this was a sweet treat to be taken care of so well. Thank you Carson Honda- we WILL be back!!! read more

Best Experience Yet! Octavio and Arturo made this process so easy and understanding. We went to 3 different dealers and I must say it was overwhelming. I was shopping for a car online. I found a car on Autotrader. I called Carson Honda and they said they would hold the car for me with a $500 deposit. I flew into town to purchase the car only to find out that the photo of the car advertised was a different color. When I informed them of their false advertising, they told me too bad. I asked to speak with the general sales manager. I was walked to a gentleman by the name of Luis Contreras's office. He told me that he could do nothing other than return my deposit for the car. I asked about my travel cost because of their misleading advertising got me on a plane, taxi to and from airports, parking fees totaling approx. $300. Luis offered to reimburse me $54 towards my travel cost after a lengthy discussion. I told him half would have been fair enough for me but he was quick to say that was all he could do. Very poor customer service on one hand after finding out about their misleading ad but to add insult, offering me only 1/4 of my out of pocket costs is very poor judgement. Be aware of misleading ads by this dealership and poor customer followup and service. Ps. They made me wait another 30 minutes afterwards to get my refund on my $500 deposit. If I could give a zero stars, I would. Luis did arrange to get me a ride back to the airport. I'm sure he just wanted me out of the show room. Lol read more

This is review is for their service department only: I've been coming to this dealership for the past 5 years to get my car serviced here all the time but today when I went to go get my car serviced for an simple oil change I was informed by one of their service reps that they were closed for the day, and then when I mentioned to him, that I thought they were closed at 6 during the week, that when he switched to him saying, oh we stop taking non-appoinment cars after 5 p.m., which is bs, since ive always come I usually come after work which is after 5 p.m. never had a problem, until today, maybe it is a fact that it's a Monday and they don't wanna do work overtime I seen that they don't have any cars as they claimed nor they seemed busy, so I don't understand why they don't wanna take my car for a simple or change but I guess that they rather leave on time than having loyal customers, he also mentioned that i should come tommorow morning at 7, umm no, I cant come whenever its more reasonable for them either, he then stated on Thursday they are open until 8, also a big lie they close at 9, I guess its more important to them that they leave on time that they have loyal customer, anyways, I wont be coming back to this dealership anymore. read more
