Bought a new Honda Clarity Touring Plug-In here and had an excellent experience. Very reasonable negotiation and timely communication from Genesis Valenzuela... Keison Godfrey helped me with the whole process from the test drive to getting into my new car to drive home. He is simply awesome. The whole process seemed to have taken just a couple of hours. Everybody involved in the sale was great. This experience is 300% better than what I have been through when buying my previous car at Keyes Mercedes. read more

Great experience with Carson Honda!! My husband and I needed to upgrade to a family car and were looking for a Honda Pilot. We couldn't find what we wanted at Scott Robinson, so visited Carson Honda to see if they had our car. They didn't have my color, but Ricky promised he would call me as soon as it came in. He kept his word and called a few days later. We were in negotiations with Scott Robinson, but received the most AWFUL and SHADY service. We called Carson Honda, spoke with Christian because Ricky wasn't there and tried to make a deal. After relating our experience to Javier, one of the managers, he made it happen! They were so great to work with and really made us happy customers. They had to order our car, but it was ready the next day! We went in for 90 minutes and drove off with a brand new Pilot! THANK YOU so much Carson Honda!! Please see my review for Scott Robinson. read more

As everyone else probably agrees buying a car sucks! It's something I always dread. You see commercials and other people driving awesome cars and when it comes time for you to get one, it's way out of reach. Carson Honda (Luke Crabtree and sales Manager Dean) made my experience buying a car AS GOOD AS IT GETS! I was in the market for a new Van but had my eye and heart set on a certain model of the Odyssey and color. My husband and I went into Carson Honda to see what they had. Carson Honda went above and beyond. They didn't have the car I wanted. But it didn't matter to them. They went on a mission to find it for me. Not only did they find "my van" but did a dealer trade so that they could get it, AND had the other dealership stay open so they could drive that night and bring it back to me so I could drive it home that night!! They did not haggle us over price. We simply came to an agreement on terms based on what we could afford. I really appreciated the manner and respect in which we were dealt with. If you are in the market to get a new car I would DEFINATELY go see Luke. If there is anyone that could get you in the car you want it is him. He is your best shot to get what you want. Thank you Carson Honda (Especially Luke Crabtree!) read more

On Friday 11/10 I brought my car in for scheduled service and to resolve a recall on a part. After a woman approached me to confirm my appointment she accidently yanks my windshield wiper off and I was ok at first; simple mistake right? She waves it off and said the maintence guy will reinstall it for me. I asked if we can just replace it, but they did not have the blades in stock and it would take a week to replace (also it would cost $70! I ended up replacing them myself for $30, 2 days later). This time I also asked for a coolant drain, since it has been a while. I get my service done, tires rotated and drive off. On the freeway, my wiper blade dislodges and flies off!!! Thank God no one was behind me or it might have cause an accident or worse. I'm infuriated at this point and email customer service and got a response today telling me to bring back my car to replace the blades. Guys, your negligence caused me to possibly injure or kill someone and you want me to wait a week to replace my wiper blades which I got frustrated and bought and replaced myself??! What b*llsh*t. For sh*ts and giggles and since I've lost complete confidence in the service mechanics; I decided to drain the coolant myself after it was reported to be done already and saw a murky coolant with debree in it. They just topped it off!!!! I paid a buttload hoping for decent service and got owned. What a mistake going here, AVOID AVOID AVOID, they are con men, and the neglegence could have put me in a dire situation. Heed my warning and proceed with caution if bringing your car here. Now, I'm suddenly wondering if my oil was changed at all or not. (Sigh... At the very least you'll get insanely ripped off, lose-lose.) read more

So I get a call from this place. Sales person called Leslie. Saying we pay more than kbb estimate and it's 4th of July event and we have the vehicle you're looking for. I head down to the place a different sales person approach me saying we have but one vehicle that didn't match what I asked for. As I'm leaving, Leslie stops me with a new deal states that due to inventory shortage we make a deal on desired vehicle. Once delivered to the dealer I can pick it up. So I sat down they took the info. They appraised the vehicle even lower than kbb sitting for about 3 hours with a child for another sale person to say we don't have the vehicle you want available. And when I confront them, the sales person goes and I quote do you agree on $$$ and adds $200 on top of the monthly payment was being negotiated. Very poor customer service. Promises aren't as they advertise. Don't waste your time going there. read more

I've been tricked, ripped off but never in my life have I been scammed...until now... Came into Carson Honda on Thursday, greeted by someone at the door immediately. He told me to wait and a service advisor would assist me shortly. I waited...and waited...5 minutes...then 10 minutes later.....so the guy that greeted me noticed more cars coming in so they decided to check on us and see why no one is helping us. Finally, thanks to the long line or else I probably wouldn't get any attention or assistance. I came in for a simple oil change-nothing fancy nothing else but just a simple $40-$50 oil change. However, service advisor Erwin Mauricio decided to use synthetic oil instead of conventional oil (without my consent of course) I DID NOT ask for synthetic oil nor does my Honda car need that type of oil... so I was unaware (since the other Honda locations I been to are always clear about it) after my car was done and ready for pick up. The bill ended up being $69.92. I was shocked and didn't know what happened. The only thing Service advisor Erwin Mauricio said was "that's the kind of oil we use" and walked away. I was so confused and of course highly disappointed and upset. First of all, what do you mean "that's the oil we use" as in that's the only kind of oil you carry??? And if that's the case, I would accepted that if you told me in the beginning. However I did not know from the beginning. Secondly, " that's the oil we used" as in there were options but you decided to pick the most expensive one because you wanted to scam me because I'm a female walking into an auto shop/dealership? I'm really glad he's working in the service/repair department instead of the sales department or else there would be many many potential victims out there. I mean the only other comparison and example I can think of for y'all is purchasing an Apple iPhone and paying for warranty when the sales associate did not tell you that you're paying for warranty and it's only an option. However the subtotal turned out more than what you expected but you didn't realize until later on. Lastly, my car wasn't even washed!!! Idk how Carson Honda does it?? Maybe they don't provide complimentary car wash when you get an oil change??? But San Leandro and El Cerrito of honda does so yes, I would know... if they don't generally provide it then I wouldn't blame them but if they do and decided to treat me differently by NOT providing it to me then you decide whether or not you want to give this location a chance...my roommate and I were gonna come here together but so thankful she did not. One less victim... Overall, my experience here was negative...highly disappointed. I would not come back here and would definitely advise y'all to avoid Erwin Mauricio. I don't want to see anymore victims. So be careful and if you do decide to come here, ask questions and ask about the price first so you know what you're getting yourself into since obviously they are like fine print about everything. read more

I was not planning to buy a car yesterday but Romer Manalese (agent), Javier (asst. mgr) & Francisco (finance) are all very honest and straightforward. I never thought that I will agree with a trade-in as I know that it is always better to sell to a private party before buying a new car but they gave me a very good value for my old car and a true price for my new Accord Sport. Highly recommended! Hard to find an honest dealership....go to Honda Carson & look for Romer Manalese. read more

This is where the true helpful Honda people are! If you can't find them at your nearest Honda dealer, then head for Carson Honda! I had avoided buying a Honda for years. Not only did their products seem overrated and nothing fantastic, but I couldn't stand their dealerships whenever I'd visit with friends or family. The salespeople were arrogant and would act as though the car was made by the hands of God himself; often adding steep markups. For years I had remained loyal to domestic brands, particularly Ford, because of this and had great experiences with them. When it came time to purchase my first ever brand new car, we wanted something comfortable and economical. We liked the Fit, but couldn't stand several of the Honda dealerships we had visited in the area (Airport Marina, Culver City, Scott Robinson, Norm Reeves). We were often treated rudely, the salespeople were not familiar with their product, and many had $2-3k markups on a $16k car. Ridiculous. We ended up looking at comparable Fords, Chevys, and Hyundais instead, even though the Fit met our needs the most. As one last chance, on the weekend we decided we'd buy a car, I gave Carson Honda a try by getting an online quote on a 2015 Fit. While other dealers were marking up the price by thousands, Carson was $400 BELOW sticker! Amazing! We rushed down and were helped by Octavio, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I emphasize patient, because we stopped by two more times during the day to test drive the car (while doing the same at the Ford and Hyundai dealers) and he was accommodating each time. There was no pressure at all. When we decided to go with the Fit (and once again, the service at Carson Honda was the only thing that persuaded us to go with Honda) and came back to the dealer, our transaction was handled by Ramon. He wasn't quite as outgoing as Octavio, but was still helpful and made it an easy purchase. The online price was honored and there were no tricks, no haggling, and no hassle. I had spent hours of research beforehand to estimate the monthly payment, and they matched my numbers almost to the cent. On a side note, we loved the Halloween decorations that were in the showroom when we bought the car in late October. It was fun, festive, and took some of the edge off of an intimidating purchase. Overall, the facilities are modern, clean, and inviting. As a follow up, the Fit now has 600 miles and is two months old, and we had some quality issues crop up. I took it down to Airport Marina Honda because they were close to my house and they refused to honor Honda's warranty, were wanting to charge a diagnosis fee, and had accused me of the car's defects. How insulting! They didn't take blame that the car may have had these defects from the factory. I came to Carson Honda today ready for the same fight and was greeted by Jonathan. He was welcoming and friendly, especially considering it was a Saturday morning. When I told him about the problems, while getting ready to roll up my sleeves for a brawl, he said "no problem" and said that these issues were occurring on the Fits. It'll be all fixed under warranty, no questions asked. I happened to cross paths during today's visit with my salesmen, Octavio and Ramon, and they were friendly as always and seemed genuinely concerned about the car. I was almost ready in the past week to trade in the Fit for a Ford and to never come back to Honda, because I was so insulted by Airport Marina Honda. It ruined the whole experience of owning a new car. But Carson Honda delighted and surprised by their amazing service. I am so happy to have done business with them and will continue to do so. Who knows, they may make me into a Honda loyalist after all. Keep up the amazing work! read more

Very dissatisfied with my experience in this place. They will not only nickel and dime you, but they will hide lots of things from you. Please if you decide to make a purchase in this please, better TAKE YOUR TIME and read what you are signing. This is the worse place to get service for your car. I called a few weeks ago, because I need it to get my radio reset, and I always go to Robertson Honda of North Hollywood, the receptionist didn't even let me finish telling her, the reason I was calling for, and transferred me to the service department, that happened a few times, and when someone finally answered, he just hung up on me. Sad, because this place claims is family owned, their employees need to take a customer service class. Called Robertson Honda in North Hollywood, and learn. Won't even try to get my car service at this place, and forget about buying a car or recommending to family or friends. I know North Hollywood is far, but is worth it. read more

from my initial experience and the comments that I read below, Carson Honda is truly NOT worthy of anyone's time & money. People are more looking into the customer service portion, rather than the vehicles. dealerships & cars are too over abundant to get stuck with just one dealer, there is plenty of competition, I will take my business at Cerritos Auto square, where the different dealerships have a completely different outlook on selling vehicles. They put people first, cars 2nd; because they know that they will at the end, end selling way more vehicles & services. I initially called financing to get a heads for the morning, make my process easier & quicker; was promised a phone call which never came. called back 90 minutes later, the bimbo that answered couldn't remember talking to me and took me for an idiot. This retired, disabled veteran took his business to Cerritos auto square, with 2 referrals (extra sales) for whoever takes care of my needs. read more

Updating review today to provide Carson Honda and Kris Kratky with a 5 star review for following through with his promise to remedy this situation. Kris really went above and beyond to get the speed setting removed from my dad's vehicle. Since he couldn't remove the setting at their own dealership due to the car being a Ford, Kris not only tried to help me find a way to get this removed without going to a dealership, but when it couldn't be done he offered to pay for ALL the costs to get the speed lock setting removed AND an extra key fob. I have a Honda Civic that I leased from Honda. So Honda Centers are always my go to for any work I need done. In December 2016 I rammed my car into the curb trying to do a quick U Turn. (Dumb, I know). I immediately had it towed to Carson Honda. They looked at the damage and gave me a quote around $6000. I did not have the money so I went through insurance. It took about 2 weeks to get everything fixed. Everything seemed fine with the car and all of the workers were very kind. So I continued taking my car in every other month for oil change/tire rotation. The great thing about Honda is they do an "inspection" on the car every time they do the oil change. So I always left with peace of mind. On September 19th I took my car in for an oil change and "inspection". On October 5th I was driving to work and my car started feeling wobbly and making strange noises. I parked it at the garage at work and called Honda to let them know. They said it would cost $137 to just see what was wrong. So After work I started to drive to Carson Honda and my car was making terrible noises and would not reverse without screeching. I pulled into a garage nearby. The first thing they noticed was the front right tire was bent outward. They took the tire off and bolts were just dropping to the ground. The mechanic said it looked like nothing was put back together properly. He was able to remove the remaining bolts with his hand. He said that I was lucky traffic was so bad because if I would have been driving fast it could of come apart and I could of crashed. I have a daughter and am 8 months pregnant. So the fact that my daughter and I riding in a car that at any moment could have fallen apart and possibly killed us made me feel sick. The mechanic called Carson Honda for me and told them about their crap job. But since I have driven over 12,000 miles since they "repaired" my car they will not do anything to fix it. Because of the car not being fixed properly it has caused even more damage. I now have a huge bill from another shop that could have been avoided if my car was fixed properly the first time. I also have a higher car insurance bill because I used my insurance to pay Carson Honda. How did they not notice anything off during the "inspections" they performed through the last 9 months? I regret ever going there. read more

By far the best service I had at a car dealer thanks to Kevin Click he was so helpful and very nice not once pressured me into buying something I didn't want nor did he make me feel rushed . I worked with Miguel and Sebastian. I was in the market for a used car and ended up driving away in a brand new 2019 Honda CR-V. I'm a college student and never thought that would be a possible. But THEY made it happen! Thank you guys! They will work with you, and they cover all the details of the type of loan/lease you select. Go see them! Trust, you will not be disappointed. They have many options and the biggest inventory I have seen. Also, they don't pressure you they give you the space to decide what works for you. Sebastian even breaks down the cost completely for you. They answered all my crazy questions, I am a big "what if" person, and Sebastian answered each question with a smile lol I am sure I was driving him crazy. Miguel was super flexible with me and accommodated my schedule by scheduling a time that would work for me to come in and make a deal he also checked in with me while I waited for all the paperwork to be processed which was really nice, he didn't just abandon me at the dealership and he went over all details of the car and its features. Took my car in because the air conditioning stopped working and there was a warranty extension on it. Well after the diagnostics they tell me I have to also replace the evap system well I'm no mechanic but I thought that was part of the air. I also ask them to do a oil change while they had the car Well $1785 later I'm driving and the engine access panel falls out and starts to drag. I had to call AAA to lift the car so we could pull the panel from the car because it was very dangerous to drive it. I take it in and Kevin click try's to BS me that they fall off new cars all the time. And the general manager Ron Gomez said his guys are Train and would never forget to put the clips back in the access panel. So another $195 later.
