Carson Honda is a dealership was not a very happy experience for me. I am very very disappointed and highly upset on the service I received their service dept. On September 2nd. I came into your location which was recommend to me by my father to get all the service I needed done on my car. I spent 496.32 cents from an oil change to getting new tires put on the front of my car.  Where my complaint comes from is my tires. After i got my car serviced I started hearing a noise from my tire on the passenger side. I came back to the location where another service manager helped me, put air and turned my pressure light off.. The noise didn't go away so I return a 2nd time on September 20th where they had the same technician check my tire, he said the hub cap was loose but they fixed it and I should be okay with no more issue. Came out a 3rd time about the same noise on September 29th then they said again nothing was wrong with my tire just the hub cap for some reason not fitting right. I explained to the service manager how upsetting it is to hear noise period coming from my car with all the money i spent thinking I was coming to professionals to help me with my car overall as a customer I should not have to walk away with my car making any type of noise. They were very nonchalant about it took my car in and said okay they fixed it. And then they mentioned I had 2 nails in my tire. I was so upset when they told me and had to get to work couldn't wait another hour for that. Now after taking time off from work twice I started hearing the noise again but now on the driver side like if they just switched the tire from the passenger side to the driver side. Overall with that being said I am not pleased. I have  spent a nice amount of money here and the issue has not been resolved. Also, my light came on way before I had nails in my tire and a one of my tire seems always to be low which I mentioned as well but no one seems to really acknowledge what I am saying and just told me maybe I just need a new hub cap..  I need something to be done right away, I am highly upset that I am even going through all this .I never had a problem with any other dealership but yours. Especially over tires and I have been patient but something needs to be done asap to fix the problem. And after complaining to the actually manager of Honda Dealership Kris Kratky still nothing was done and it's been 3 weeks so they don't mind losing a customer they have so many more.. read more

Disappointing experience and I now question the integrity of Carson Honda. I purchased a new Honda Accord only to have to take my car in for service twice during the first week of ownership. The problem was they did not do proper pre-delivery steps before providing the car to me. I caught the issue myself. What's disappointing is I was told they would have a manager/director contact me with an explanation. That never happened. I will be filing a complaint with Honda and the BBB over what appears to be a falsification of signed paperwork they provided showing a tech performed these pre delivery steps. Sadly what stared off as a good sales experience turned very frustrating and a tremendous waste of my valuable time. Not what you would expect for a new higher end Honda car purchase. read more

Just got a second car from here! This dealership takes really good care of their customers. The GM, Tim, goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy and ensures that you get the best deal possible. I wanted a black accord sport and due to COVID, inventory on the accord sports was limited, but Tim got me my car the next day after my inquiry. I am so happy with this dealership's service and beyond happy with my new car. read more

Trying to get defective paint fixed on all 4 doors of my 2016 HRV. Was informed by "Will" of the service department that since (1) the paint is out of warranty and (2) Honda is "nice enough" to fix the paint I should be happy with the work taking 2-3 weeks. C'mon folks, check your paperwork. Service Bulletin 19-064 cites a warranty extension NH-788P White Orchid Pearl or Bellanova White Paint that extends the warranty to 7 years. Last time I checked we are not yet at 2023. So far Carson Honda has lied about warranty coverage and lied about Honda's motivation in effecting the repair. So this is how Honda gets people to buy their cars? read more

Blake. I need say no more. He literally was the most pleasant, positive, helpful, cheery dude that anyone could ask for. He walked us through the whole process. Helped us out to get the best deal physically possible. I won't be buying another car anytime soon, but if I had to recommend someone, it would be him. Do yourself a favor and come make a new friend and buy a car in the process. read more

I have now had 2 really positive experiences at Carson Honda over the last few years. Recently, I sold my current CR-V and bought a new one from Carson Honda. They got through the paperwork quickly and efficiently. Everyone was super friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy working there. They gave me a fair deal and made sure I was comfortable. No heavy-handed sales tactics. I will definitely continue to go there for my car needs. And I would definitely recommend Carson Honda to my family and friends! read more

This dealership has nothing but LIARS AND CAN'T be TRUSTED. My friend had called asking if they had a Mazda CX-5 in stock. She had called the night before and they had confirmed that the vehicle was in stock. She called today just to verify once more as she would driving from Newport to make a possible purchase and the Salesman Jesse had confirmed once more that the vehicle was in stock and told us to come in as others had scheduled a test drive with the vehicle. We drove for an hour and when we got there they told us that the vehicle had been SOLD. Total waste of our time. My friend was Devastated! They even had the audacity to call her after and ask how her experience was. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not worth the business. read more

Came back to the Honda Service Center after 8 years of living elsewhere. Basically out of necessity, not because I would ever voluntarily choose this particular service center, given that in my experience, they ALWAYS lie and try to scam folks. Took my car in for oil change, basic service check. Their system of texting the "issues" your car has highlighted four "critical" things my car needed immediately, essentially coolant and brake fluid and another fluid needed to be cleaned and replaced. Again, all "critical" needs, for a cool price tag of $800! Apparently they believe their clientele is stupid. Knowing the scamming practices of this service center VERY WELL at this point, and honestly not surprised at all that they are still up to these shenanigans, I took my vehicle to my trusted mechanic, who informed me that THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CAR AND IT WAS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. Just as I thought. This particular Honda lost my business 8 years ago, and will lose it again. I will never recommend anyone come to this Honda, or its service center. Full of liars and scammers, and they will act like everyone else is the problem. Save your time and money, and make sure you have a trusted mechanic to double check the scamming practices of these dealerships. read more

These people will do anything to sell you a car but when it comes time to fix it then they start coming out with fees and all this shit about oh you don't have warranty for this . Carson Honda delivered my new 2021 Pilot to my home this morning and I couldn't be happier. I was a bit nervous about not going with a local dealership, but from start to finish, leasing this car was a pleasure. I didn't get any of the game playing I experienced at some of my local dealerships. Carson Honda gave me an amazing deal on the car I wanted. There was no pressure and everyone I communicated with was professional, pleasant, and informative. Thank you so much Francisco Razo, Kamsorth Soeung, and Jose Larios for providing exceptional customer service and making an experience that is normally stressful and disappointing the complete opposite. Hands down the best Honda dealer for 50 miles! I know because I tried to deal with most. I was looking for a specific car in a certain color without all the BS and and add on accessories. This is the only dealer I could find that wasn't a complete scam adding thousands worth of mark ups and add one to their vehicles. I purchased a vehicle that was a transfer from another dealer. By time we finished the deal later at night it was late and dark. I got home to find their was damage on the wheel. I feared the worst thinking I would be blamed for the damage especially for realizing it after they closed. I showed up at 7am ready to battle. By time the manager Tim got in later I was expecting the worst. HOWEVER, Tim and sales staff were amazing and they not only searched high and low to find me the same car, went and picked it up, it was upgraded and they really took care of me. I cannot say enough about the entire team because I dealt with their internet sales reps, sales reps (wish I remembered all of their names) and managers. Thank you because I was about to give up on Honda and I couldn't be happier with my car. read more

Bought my '17 CR-V here and was painless transaction. Fast forward 3-4 months of ownership. Discovered a few drips of oil on driveway so i took it in for service. In-n-out in 2 hours. "Cleaned it up" told me to come back in a month. Within a 1-2 weeks, found another drop on driveway which leads me to believe they didnt do anything, not even "cleaned it up". So i decide to just look under and found even more problems. Missing screws to hold the skid plate/belly pan, belly pan had a big chunk of metal missing, and theres a big dent/wave on the last screw (as seen in pics). Guess the mechanic got frustrated as couldnt take it off after wiggling or whatever and put it back clumsily. Thanks for taking care of my brand new car. read more

Went to get a oil change on November 11th at 130pm. It was Veterans Day and was told by service manager Ron Gomez that they were not servicing any more cars even thou i could not see any of the service techs working on any cars. Service manager Ron Gomez was rude, and it's contagious as with my previous interactions with the service techs and at Carson Honda. Was thinking of purchasing a Honda Fit but buy at a dealer that actually hires people with some manners, class and customer service. read more

I had been hunting for a car for a while & finally stopped by here one night after work. As soon as I got there, Julio greeted me and immidiately started assisting me. I really appreciate how straight up he was with me about everything, and I mean everything. He wasn't trying to play or upsell me, I told him what I wanted and he made it happen. I literally was only in there, maybe 1 hour? a bit more, and that is because I kept hesistating. The car obviously was not at the location since everything is on backorder, etc, but I had seen the car at another dealer so I knew what it looked like and the color. It was scheduled to arrive on Sep 18, purchased on the 3rd. I was honestly bugging Julio SO much for updates and he was SO responsive and helpful. I really wanted my car to get here before I had to leave for my trip, but it didn't seem like that was going to happen which I never blamed Julio or anyone, these things happen, specially right now! Literally, within like, 3 hours of me having to catch a flight Julio called me and said he was able to find my car at a sister store and I can have it before I leave. I was SO happy & excited at how much the team went above and beyond to get me my car, specially with everything having to be done in like, less than 2 hours. I could not thank them enough, specially Julio of course. I did not even get my car washed or detailed per my choice since I was not going to have ANY time, but he offered for me to bring it back asap after I was back and they will do that. I just couldn't be more happy with the service from this dealer, and Julio being so graceful at my milliom texts a day! read more

This is where I always have serviced my honda. I called service to ask a question I got an attitude. I also did a test drive a few months back and I was supposed to receive a gift card, I never got it and when I asked about it, they gave me attitude. So maybe the fact that I have purchase two Hondas at other dealerships and had them service there is not good enough. They will not see me again. 2020 UPDATE: Once again General Sales Manager Dean Hayek saved the day !!! This makes it our 3rd purchase at Carson Honda and he remembered us and once again went above and beyond to give the best customer service resulting in total customer satisfaction! (Dean is very humble, kind, patient, listens, and cares about the customers ) Our daughter had a specific color for the interior of the HRV in mind and although it wasn't available there , Dean researched and found it immediately and had it ready for her. From the trade-in to the financing and signing of the paperwork; everything went smoothly and all we can say is ...our overall experience with Carson Honda has been nothing but positive and keeps getting better, quicker, and easier !!! Our daughter is extremely happy with her new 2020 HRV EX. It starts with a wonderful manager like Dean and an equally great team like Jimmy and Gary and Sebastian and Keison, and Terzo, Ozzie and Mike K. We are truly thankful to the whole team at Carson Honda and we will continue to be repeat customers because of their great customer service! Please stay healthy and safe. read more

Purchased a Honda Civic EX-T from Carson Honda and had a wonderful experience. We had spent a few months looking for a used car and set out to find a dealer in our area that really cares that we were on their lot. We looked at vehicles at various dealerships but, for the most part, they never approached us or even attempted to be helpful. I did my homework and had decided what two vehicle models I'd like to drive and narrow it down to one. We spent all day searching and arrived late in the evening at Carson Honda. Steven met us and encouraged us to look around. He opened each vehicle and we found the model we were looking for. After a test drive he introduced us to Calvin Oum and we spoke about our needs and the process to purchase the vehicle began. Calvin was really helpful explaining what it meant to have a Honda Certified vehicle. They worked with our Capital One financing and even provided us with a better interest rate through Honda. We got a great car, well below blue book, and feel like we were now part of the Honda family. Thanks to Steven, Calvin and the whole team at Carson read more

Three months after purchasing a 2019 Honda CRV, I received a safety recall notice about the steering wheel. Immediately after reading the notice, I followed Honda's advice and called Carson Honda to schedule an appointment to fix it. When I got through the service department and addressed the purpose of my call, I was put on hold because the service rep had to check to see if they had the part, 15 minutes later the service rep got back and said they had the part, so I scheduled an appointment to go in at 2 p.m. yesterday, 7/16/19 (Tuesday). Before heading out to Carson Honda, I called their service department to confirm my appointment, the service rep confirmed it and told me to go ahead and bring my car in. When I pulled in to their "appointment only" line, a service rep named Brian came up to greet me. After I stated the purpose of my visit, Brian told me they were completely out of the part and they had to turn three customers away the day before. I was shocked! I asked him if they lied to me when their service rep said they had the part last Friday to make an appointment, he said they did have a limited amount of the part, but they were gone because they used the parts on a "first come, first serve" basis. I did not understand how they could make an appointment with me but turn around and give away the part that was supposed to be served for me, also I gave them another chance to tell me the truth when I called to confirm my appointment yesterday but they failed to inform me of the fact again! Because I had to make sure I will have the part when I make the second trip there in the future, I asked to speak with the Service Manager Ron Gomez, but he was out to lunch. I also asked to speak with their General Manager Tim Soeung, I was told he was in a meeting with their corporate personnel. The only manager that was available at the time was the Sales Manager Luis Conteras. Therefore I was brought to him to address my request to be put on the wait list for the part and their service. Luis reassured me he will call me as soon as they get the part in, then he shook my hand and walked away. I got more confused and very upset after speaking with Luis because he did not ask for my name/number and/or VIN, I had no idea how Luis can contact me without getting any of my or my car's ino., apparently he was just brushing me off his shoulder! This morning I followed up with a couple of phone calls to Carson Honda, unfortunately all I could reach was their service manager's voice mail. After so many tries, at this point I am pretty sure I am not returning to Carson Honda! None of Carson Honda's staff I have contacted has any interest and/or intention to provide any customer service, STAY AWAY FROM CARSON HONDA if customer service is important to you!!! read more

Bought my CRV in 2014, my car starting rusting in 2016 - asked Carson Honda to have this defect fixed! Service manager Ron Gomez denied my request for repair, opened a claim with American Honda, they said rust should be covered - ask Ron Gomez why he denied. Have left several messages for a call back - HE NEVER RETURNS ANY CALLS!!! I am going to start leaving messages with the GM, if no response from him, I have no choice but to go the legal route (thank goodness I have an automotive lawyer in the family). Don't buy a car from this dealership! read more

Service was ridiculously slow. What is the point of making an appointment when you still have to sit for over an hour and a half? I do have to give a shout out to Erwin, the rep to helped us. He was wonderful. He even gave us a coupon which saved us $30. The worst part, though, was when our car was finally ready, we were blocked in and sat in our car for over 30 minutes while they tried to find the keys to move the car blocking us. WTF. We are currently sitting in our car getting angrier by the minute. read more

At first, this dealership was fine: small wait time, decent offers. I came in the next day to further discuss and sign and was met with: bait & switch (even after they ran credit), increased selling price (after having it written down), extremely long wait times, wishy washy sales team. The only reason this review is even one star is because one salesperson: Calvin, was helpful and respectful. Untrustworthy sales team. read more

Let me tell you. After the horrible experience I had over at Scott Robinson Honda, I didn't want to deal with another honda dealer. But I decided to try one more dealer so I came here. Keison was the car salesman that helped me out and he was amazing. He was kind and friendly and explained everything I needed to know. Octavio was i think the finance manager (I can't remember exactly..but he was a manager) but he worked with me also to help me get as close to the price I wanted. He was patient with me as well as I took some time to go over the quoted price he gave me. In the end, I went home with a 2018 accord sport with a quote much less from scott robinson torrance dealer! Scott Robinson tried to rip me off, and they were extremely rude and vulgar there. But this dealership, is complete opposite! I highly recommend this dealership! Ask for Keison the car salesman when you go! For future honda car buys I will be coming back to this dealership from now on! read more

Erwin is great! Came in at 9am without an appointment for an oil change. He didn't push me on a tire rotation even tho it was "recommended" by the electronic tasks that pop up on the dashboard. By 11:30, I received a phone call that my car was ready. Never purchased a car here, but happy with the service. read more

Perhaps this dealer needs to be reminded that auto dealerships survive on their service department and not sales. The service department waiting room is run down and in need of renovation. The TV is stuck on the Food Network !!! No one is cooking while waiting 2 hours for an oil change and when I asked for the remote so that I can change the channel, so that I could watch sports (The Little League World Series is on !!!) I was asked if I had my PHONE. I said yes, thinking that since they could not provide the waiting customer with the remote "per corporate", but I was told that I could watch sports on my phone .... WHAT! That was the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard from a service provider. And I use that term loosely. I know that lots of people watch TV on their devices, by their choice, but I am at a dealership. Spending my money and more importantly MY TIME (hours of it), and I cannot even make myself comfortable by watching what I would like to on the TV that my dollars are helping to pay for. And the location is in the middle of nowhere so there is nowhere to walk to have a meal or do any shopping. Ridiculous !!! So when I was told it would be 2 hours of Food Network, bad atmosphere, run down furniture and another waiting customer who was 'entertaining' the entire waiting room with a game on his cellular device at maximum volume, I LEFT !!! I will drive to Orange County to get better service or to a location where I can drop my car off and walk to some good food and shopping. Carson stinks ! read more

This review is going to be as honest as it gets. Let me start with the background story. I'm a young female with a start up business and a waitressing job (not the highest commission customer keep in mind). Long story short, my good ol' reliable had finally passed, and I was out of luck. I had one of two choices, get another "ol' reliable" or a tempting new vehicle with an equally intimidating contract. So I go on shopping around to about 7-8 car dealerships in total throughout the past week. I'm getting more and more irritable as the days go on because as you know not having transportation is a pain in the A$$!!! My mother recommended me going to Carson of Honda where she purchased her vehicle a year and a half prior, and my God this woman could not and would not stop telling me about JAY!!! (Jose Diaz if I'm not mistaken). Let's keep in mind my mother is no woman to be messing around with, she's sharp as a tack and doesn't take shit from anyone (not that I would let that happen to my dear mother either) and has been around the block before. So long story short we deal with a few reps from Honda of Carson because of her recommendation. Jay isn't in town, but no problem everyone was nice! No problems, and we had dealt with a number of other salesman from other dealerships. Still we hadn't found a resolution... then Jay came into the picture this fine Sunday. What. A. HUGE. DIFFERENCE. This man will HELP you. NOT SELL YOU. H E L P YOU. He had come up with a solution that was right for my situation, even when the deal wasn't going to give him the highest pay out. Do you know how much that means when someone treats you like an old friend instead of a dollar sign??? And walking into a dealership confessing you need to get into a vehicle as soon as possible isn't the smartest thing to do, as 99% of salesman CAN AND WILL take advantage of that. Jay was the complete opposite. He CARES about your situation and YOU!! He's in this for the long run, and will do what's best for you. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING TO CARSON OF HONDA IF YOU DONT ASK FOR JAY. Just don't even bother, you won't find a quality man like him anywhere else. Genuine and honest. I'm not BSing. Once you meet him you'll understand, and how do you repay his good duties? REFFERALS!!! He's already working off of them anyway based on his reputation, this man earned it. All I can say is thank you so much Jay!!! Sincerely!! I will be notifying EVERYONE I know about your service and yourself! It's appreciated much more than you know! And to the management that will be reading this review please know 1) this is a genuine opinion, no "bonuses" for writing this, Jay is just F******** awesome!! And 2) you have an incredibly valuable team member in your staff. Cherish and value him, because if you don't treat him and your other great staff right, someone else will! Once again, thank you Jay!! And everyone else!!! read more
