Worst dealer out of all the Honda locations very unprofessional and no knowledge of what's going on down there you'll be sure to get the run around from the reception who knows absolutely nothing about Honda and there procedures down to the service workers who first attend you , had trouble paying my first payment for the most ridiculous reasons when I called the dealer the receptionist told me to go down there and pay it and when I got there they told me NO you can't pay your bill here so I basically wasted my gas to be turned down , THEY ALSO SELL YOU CARS WITH BAD BATTERIES. and of course the battery isn't covered with the warranty and they charge $155 to tell you if something is wrong with your car. the most unrealiable place to buy a car if you want isssues with the car from the day you get it. UPDATE: (1 month later) Went for a smog test on 9/20/17. It failed. The personnel at the smog test center showed me that the air intake boot was TAPED and CRACKED and needed to be replaced. If I wanted a half-ass job of fixing my car, I could do that myself. These technicians should definitely not be certified as technicians since instead of actually addressing the issue with the customer, they hide it and let the customer find out the hard way! UPDATE 11/10/17 Took my car in to Gardena Honda Dealership. The mounts to the transmission and engine are broken and needed to be replaced. Carson Honda replaced the transmission a few months ago, and there were never problems with the mounts before until after they replaced the transmission. Now it's going to cost over a $1,000 to repair the two to three mouths because of the botch job that Carson Honda did. read more

Vincent helped my family and I get into a new Honda pilot!! He was so patient, answering all of our million questions, showing us different options. He listened to our wants and needs and got us into a Honda pilot elite. The process was smooth and time-friendly. Very professional and warm. Would definitely recommend buying a car at Carson Honda and ask for Vincent. read more

I just bought a Honda from Culver City Honda about seven months ago I bought a Honda accord sport edition 2.0 with all the bells and whistle's I bought the extra package that covers if a rock hits your window or if you get a dent on your car all this will be covered. I had a Kia optima the fully loaded one 2016 and I wasn't too happy with Kia so I decided to go with Honda they made me trust them when I bought the car but I guess it's all bullshit until you need something! I took the car in to Carson Honda today I had called previously and spoke with Marisol to see if it was busy she let me know that they weren't busy at all so I decided to go down there to get my car checked out because when I put the car in reverse and turn the wheel either side to the left or to the right I hear something like a spring breaking. So when I got down there it was extremely busy so I waited in the non-appointment line to even get seen . I have been sitting there for about 30 maybe 45 minutes in my car with two cars in front of me still when a gentleman came to my window to see what was wrong with my car. I let him know my concerns and what I was hearing the first thing that came out of his mouth as we charge a diagnostic fee of I believe he said 145 if I'm not mistaken and I was like well it should be covered by the manufacture because it shouldn't be making that noise at all it never did in the beginning so when it starts making this noise now there's something wrong! He was very rude he let me know again and reiterated that I would be charged $145 if they did a diagnostic on my car then he said that he would need a couple hours to do so. I had asked him if I could get a rental because a couple hours I am a real busy person I only get one day off a week I am a manager so I can't just sit there for a couple hours I asked him what a couple hours was at the time that I asked him it was about 12 noon he said about 4 PM that's not a couple hours that's more like a shift! He was very rude not approachable does it have customer service skills at all needs to be trained in empathy for customers a little bit more actually a lot more. Needs to understand that our frustrations are not personal their frustrations that's what they are this is a new car it should not be making this noise and I wanna know why it's making this noise but the first thing he wants to discuss is that I'm gonna be charged I've only had the car for seven months this is ridiculous! Maybe we should add this stuff told to us when we're purchasing the car so we can make that decision if we want to deal with stuff like this because I don't! His name is Alan Tránsito at the Carson Honda dealership and he's in the service center! Thank goodness I have a lease and I'm able to return the car at the end of my lease because I think that's what I'm gonna do because he made it so bad for me just to get the car looked at and I know my car I drive it every day it was not making this noise when I bought it it just started making this noise recently and there is something wrong! read more

It's on the website that you can go straight to them even without an appointment to get a change oil. We just went there now and told us we should have got an appointment after 30 mins of waiting. There's a lot of worker yet no service advisor even checked our car. We bought our car in this branch so next time I'm never going to buy in this branch. Poor customer service. read more

We had a very bad experience today, after driving for more than two hours from San Diego, we arrived, checked the car, we took the car for a test drive about 30 minutes we came back and sat with the salesman, at that point we've been at the dealership for about an hour we brought our finance with us, while filling papers they wanted to run credit our credit, we denied, as soon as we denied one salesman came back and said sorry the car is sold you can leave now not even letting us think of it twice! It was the worst car experience I've had, first of all for reference, I've purchased 5 cars with cashier checks before and everytime I go through the hassle of running the credit and I don't at the end, anyway I asked for manager they sent Fransisco Razo, he said they were negotiating with two customers at the same time and the other customer ran his credit first!!!! WTH!!! This is BS playing two people at the same time! I am 85% positive they didn't sell the car but even if they did it's shameful both ways making people drive for long time to end up doing this, there is other reputable dealerships out there, bad sale tactics is what make people buy from Carvana and Vroom, no any back and forth no shady tactics everything straight forward. If you are driving from far distance DON'T!!! avoid these guys and don't waster your time. read more

Do not go here to repair your car. They will rip you off. I had some problem in my car. They inspected my car and said it costs $379. After a couple of hours later, they call me and tell me that my car has many problems to fix and it will cost over $3000. I decided not to fix from here. I just pick up my car and paid $379 +tax. I went local mechanic shop and fixed my car, paid $450 only. Mechanic said I don't need to change some parts, it just need to fix and change small part only. Before you go to Honda service, think twice and go. read more

I was here last week hoping to get my first car & was assisted by Levi & his manager Tim. From start to finish both of them were awesome! I was looking to get a Honda Accord Sport but wanted to see my other options with the different Accords as well. Levi gave me a walk through of all the different Accords & their features & was able to help me weigh out my best option. Tim was also very supportive throughout the entire process making sure we were satisfied & were getting what we needed! Even when it came to the financing process & i was a little confused, Tim broke it down for me in a way that made everything very concise & understandable. With all the help from Tim , Levi & the other Honda associates I was able to drive off with my new Honda Accord Sport! I cant thank them all enough for their patience, insight & generosity! I appreciate you all so much & thank you again!(: read more

I recently had service here on 05/29/20 for a routine maintenance on my Honda Civic 10, my advisor was Jaime gomez, while I left my car, I got a phone call later from Jaime in regards to my vehicle needing additional services, keep in mind I presented coupons for Carson Honda, at the time of the write up, I had a 15% off recommendation coupon, so I went ahead and gave him the go since I had a coupon, so they kept my car to finish the work that needed to be done, 05/30/20 I called to get a update on my vehicle and Jaime told me that the car was finish but needed to wait a few hours for Honda bond that they applied cured properly, he gave me a time and I arrived around 4pm that day to pick up, as I arrived I ask the front desk if Jaime applied the 15% off my bill, she couldn't find it so she went to get Jaime, than Jaime came and told me that their was a cap on the amount so he was only able to give me a 10% discount, WTF, I figured to not engage, because it clearly states 15% any recommended services, it did not have a cap on the coupon or any amount.. so I left it alone, so I went to my car and I figure to check what was done, look what I see my air filter clip missing, I went back in there and got Jaime and told him what had happen, he went and got the mechanic, they both came out and to my surprise he found my missing clip, imagine that, if I never checked, I would be missing my clip, right there gave me red flags)mechanic didn't say anything once he clipped it back on, Jaime said his goodbye, I was already upset, so I researched what they've done to my vehicle once I got home, that same night, I went to work, my car started to hesitate, and I assumed it was nothing because they've fix my car, but it was late at night and I was on my way to work so I figure to check in the morning, once I got off work before I started my car, I checked the hood and inspected the work that was done to my car, I found out the solenoid plug was not connected to the connector, I got service for that(Vtec solenoid assembly)WOW, can you believe that, I paid $1,134.79.. for this.. not honoring my 15% discount, misplace my clip and not even letting me know, and than I found this plug not connected!! Imagine if I hadn't inspected my car, my vehicle may had problems down the road, Jaime sent me a text message about the service and I express to him my issues, but I doubt he even relayed the issue to anyone!!!I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN, I bought my car here and continued to come here but now I'll go somewhere else.PLEASE, DOUBLE CHECK OR GET A SECOND OPINION ON YOUR VEHICLE,I WANT PEOPLE TO BE AWARE OF THE BS AND CRAPPY WORK THAT WAS DONE. IVE HAD ISSUES BEFORE BUT NEVER GAVE THIS PLACE A REVIEW. THIS WAS THE LAST STRAW!! STILL WAITING FOR MY SURVEY!! JAIME read more

I traded my car for a brand new honda civic, it took them over 21 days to pay off my old car. This delayed caused my credit to have a delinquency. No one knew what is causing the delay, even the finance manager nor the director. Long story short, I am giving the three stars for the general manager Mr. Kim Sung, i texted him about the issue, yes he gave out his cp number on his voicemail. He responded in less than 10 minutes and resolved my issue the same day. read more

This review is literally a Justin appreciation post. Every time I have come into the dealer Justin has been a helpful hand. I originally met Justin through my brother when him and his fiance came and brought a car from Carson Honda. He's very helpful but not pushy at all like a lot of car salesmen can be. I'm currently in the market for a car and I plan on buying a Honda Accord from Carson Honda and specifically from Justin. I had told him I was receiving medical treatment from an accident I had that caused me some nerve damage., Just last week he text me and asked how I was doing out of nowhere, again with no pressure into buying a car. Hopefully I can buy my car from them but even if I don't thank you Justin for your help read more

I Don't give the crooked sales people a good recommendation or review they get 1 star. I don't give the service department a good recommendation or review they get one star. But! If you can get past them the technicians are masters. When they finally got there chance to fix my car the right way they rebuilt my V6 engine and the cars a Monster now! When I press on the gas the front end lifts off the ground and peels out and when I'm parked it thrums in an idle. Japanese muscle car for sure. So to the service crew this 5 star is for you. read more

Went In to have a look at a civic Si and was Greeted by Alejandro a friendly young man. I didn't get the best treatment at another Honda place so was skiddish but Alejandro was sooo nice and friendly, informative and helpful I felt right at home. He showed me the car in detail and suggested a spin. At that point he won me over because at my last stop I was denied one. The drive went great and he answered all my questions. I wasn't able to make the purchase but as soon as I can I definitely will. I highly recommend Carson Honda and if you get someone like Alejandro to help you than you are very lucky read more

I was called by a sales rep from this dealer after I put my cell phone into their follow up system online. I asked what h could offer and he said he could give me a discount to get me under MSRP and that they were fully stocked with the accord hybrid I wanted. later that day, the sales rep texted me to follow up on when I could come to the dealer to see the hybrids, I responded I would go later that night after work. I went to the dealer after work and the manager at the time said that no vehicles are sold under MSRP... on the contrary.. they all go for over MSRP and have add ons that are previously installed that also increase the price. Also, THEY HAD NO ACCORD HYBRIDS!!!! None. this dealer is misleading and I hope no one deals with them. I called other dealers and they were honest about the price. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER! read more

This dealer is a SCAM. Do not go here. I talked to a sale person named Katie 1 (443) 546-0720, i asked if the dealer has Honda Accord EX Champagne Frost color, she said YES and we agreed on the pricing. Then We made the appointment to go get the paperwork. We are 40 minutes away, so before we drove there, we called her one more time to speak. When we were there, she did not even come out to see us, she let some other people to talk to us. They said that they did not have that color and asked if we can buy another one. What a joke!!!! She literally made us come there for nothing. They wasted our time. The Manager of this store should be fired. The manager does not know how to manage his/her staff. This is unprofessional. I've had expensive services done in total and I have utter and absolute complete satisfaction at the work done at Carson Honda. The parts came it at a timely manner at the insistence of the service advisor even though I assured him there is no pressure on the timing. The technicians were superb, even catching an unforeseen problem with the EGR valve and promptly solving it. They've corrected the alignment that was off on their initial work. My car handles like new with the new parts. Jose lived up to the high praises of the service advisor. Javier Torres, the service advisor, was exceedingly helpful, assuring, and highly personable -- if he hadn't received an Employee of the Month or Year yet, he certainly deserves one! Thank you to the manager, whom I've never met, for the services he's approved and threw in, making the experience exceed all expectations. This location is the closest to my house so I've been bringing my car for the past 5 oil changes. This oil change was different because an employee hit my back passenger door with another customers car! I was offered a rental and was told that my car would be ready in 2 weeks. Those two weeks turned into 1 month and a week! Accidents happen and I would've been more understanding if the sales rep (MJ) would've kept me informed about the progress on my car. I had to hunt him down almost daily and he wouldn't return my messages. These are not " The helpful Honda" people. This guy had the "Nerve" to tell me to my face that he was too busy to find out about my car, but to fee free to call the bodyshop myself. He's has a lot to learn about customer service. After paying thousands above the sticker price, I was at least expecting a decent experience. But as a senior I think they saw an easy mark. I was talked into buying a car with the alarm system already installed. All I wanted was the stuff that comes with the car-normal alarm and the warranty that comes with the car. They saw the opportunity for extra $$$ and stuck me with an $800 malfunctioning extra alarm when there was already a factory installed alarm. The alarm didn't go off when the car was being burglarized, but only when I got in. Over and over again until I had to have the alarm removed in order to be able to drive the car. Only they wouldn't remove the alarm. The alarm company had to cut the wires so that I couldn't ask for a refund. When I sell I will have to tell the buyer about the faulty alarm stuck in the car. read more

On December 17th 2020, I sent my 17 year old daughter to this location to get an oil change with a coupon clearly marked $49.99 plus tax. Mr Henry Jimenez the technician straight lied to her that they could not honor the coupon because they no longer carried that oil brand. Instead he charged her $73.74. When I called to inquire about what was going on, he brushed me off by asking what I wanted him to do in which I responded to him I wanted him to honor the coupon. He said he would call me back in 10 minutes. Has not done so till this day. A week later, I called to talk to the service manager Mr Gomez I think, who is never available. Left a detailed message and never received a call from him either. So my advice to anyone thinking about going there be warned the service is terrible. +++ I was a victim of fraudulent activity when buying a 2017 Honda Civic from Carson Honda, the salesman added a low-jack and Honda extended warranty on a brand new Civic that I did not agree to, that inflated the price of the 2017 Honda Civic to $28,000.00 . +++ Unfortunately the car was totaled the following morning, the insurance company Western General gap insurance ruined my credit score by taking 4 months to cut a check for Honda international finance company, and they still haven't paid Honda finance because they claim that the police report is missing. My credit score dropped to a all time low around 400. The dealership eventually adjusted the extra $7,000.00 in charges that I disputed by informing Carson Honda that I was going to the California attorneys Generals office to file a complaint. Western general insurance ruined my credit score, and how is it that I bought a new car that I only had for 1 day and after the Gap insurance claim was filed I still owe $2600.00 for the difference??? I was taken advantage of twice, I cannot believe that Honda international would allow Carson Honda to defraud people using the Honda name that had a good reputation for great automobiles....I am shocked that I was taken advantage of and Honda international allows dealerships to defraud innocent people.
