Set up an appoint over the phone for a tire rotation and an oil change. Lady over the phone told me it would be around 1-1:30. Arrive there at 7:30 the following day, again the guy that took care of me told me it'd be about an hour and a half. 10 rolls around still no car, i go up to the guy who was helping me says its gonna be another hour. 11:30 comes, still no car, guy tells me there was only one technician till 8:30? (Which why didnt he tell me this from the start). Finally 12:20 comes i go up again and he said its been way too long and that it'll be out in 2 mins. Like sir if you had it ready and just didnt call me because your busy talking and laughing with coworkers i wouldve been pissed. Finally im out at 12:30, no tire rotation cuz i didnt need it. So basically i waited 5 hours for a plain oil change! I understand that car repairs will take as long as they need to, but if you know its short staffed let me know its gonna be a while so i can go home and not wait around for 5 hours in your uncomfortable chairs. Even more like he saw me just staring waiting, like he cant come over and check up on me, or the very least check on my car and keep me updated. Very poor management. Never been treated like this from this location, and ive boughten cars from this location and not once thought it would be this unprofessional. Not going back for any maintenance in the future. read more

My wife and I were looking for a used Honda accord and going through all the ads online we came across Carson Honda which had exactly what we were looking for and the price was within our budget. Carson Honda had a better selection of used cars than all the dealerships around us. Had a great no hassle experience , the staff was great, Briana , Tyler, and Luis were a big help. Thanks again and keep up the great work I will recommend Carson Honda to all I can..... Jose and Carla Silva. read more

My husband's truck was getting old and we have our first baby on the way so it was time to make a more family oriented upgrade. We did our homework and narrowed down a few makes and models that would suit our situation and headed out to different local dealerships. Out of all our stops Carson Honda was by far the best. We were helped by Joseph who listened to all of our needs and was just an overall delight to work with. Our first visit and test drive was on Saturday and the following Tuesday we were back to sign papers. Throughout the whole process we felt zero pressure and I cannot say the same for the other dealerships that we visited. Thank you guys so much for all your help, especially manager Tim for getting us a fantastic deal and making sure all of our needs were met. read more

My name is Sandra Dry! I bought a 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid from Carson Honda. They did not have what I was looking for. So KEISON GODFREY went out of his way to find me what I wanted. Especially in this difficult time! I have never had such a GREAT experience at a Dealership! I will definitely recommend Keison. He wasn't pushy by trying to sell me something I don't need. I love my car! Everyone at that Dealership was very accommodating. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Carson Honda! Best car leasing experience I've ever had! I leased a 2017 Honda Accord Sport last week and I love my new car, it is exactly what I needed, I feel happy and safe. Calvin was very knowledgeable and answered with patience all my questions. Lily from the finance department had all my paperwork ready and she was extremely nice and informative. I also met the general manager, Kris. He happened to walk by as I was leaving and congratulated me for my new car. What a nice gesture! Five stars all around! read more

Service Center Tried this Honda service center because the Cerritos one always too crowded. Glad we did. Customer service was awesome! Had an appointment for our Pilot but there was already a line, but what made me happy was that someone seriously tried to cut the line me and 3 others were already in, they let her move her car up to the empty line next to. Us which was a No appointment line, but I saw and heard(windows were down) the workers pointing out who was next and that she was the last one to get there. Ha! Anyways, Khaled helped me out and this guy was genuinely a nice guy. He kept it honest and not trying too hard to upsell me. I really appreciated that. They finished all the work real quick so wait wasn't too long. Plan to def come back to bring our car here. read more

I RARELY ever comment but I had to. I've given this place at least 4 chances to redeem themselves. Last week I went in for the recall on the fuel pump, they asked me to reschedule for This Thursday because I had 1/2 a tank of gas, they don't have the shuttle to take anyone home, etc.. I said that's fine, same bat time, same bat channel. Came in line at 11:11 for my 11:20am appointment, waited to be seen. Finally Malik came and checked on me, the car after 11:52. He apologized for it being busy. Not even 20 min later I get a call from them saying The part hasn't arrived. If it hasn't arrived, please call me ahead of time so we don't waste ANYONE'S time waiting in line, driving back and forth, etc. The part should've been there if I was already there last week for the same reason. Plenty of time for it to be delivered. The only reason they get a star is because I believe Malik was sincere and deserves to work at a better dealership. read more

I wanted to shout out a big thank you to Tim and his team at Carson Honda. This is the second year in a row that I've purchased a car from Carson Honda. Tim and his team have delivered an exceptional service, they made the buying and trade in process very easy, which save a lot of time and haggling and not to mention, the greatest and best deal ever on the trade in and on my new 2022 Honda Pilot. I am so disappointed with this dealership. I have been getting my car serviced here for years. Early last month, I had my regular maintenance and specifically asked the advisor to check my batteries because my car didn't start and had to get jumped 3 times the last few weeks. First of, it took almost the whole day for an oil change and an alignment. And yes, I had an appointment. But thanks for the 2 pens you gave me for the 8 hour wait. A couple of days later, my parents borrowed my car and the tire warning went off. They took it to America's Tires and was informed that it was over inflated. Another 2 days later and my car wouldn't start. My neighbor is a mechanic and checked my batteries, dead. I tried contacting the dealership a few times. I left a voicemail for the service manager and the general manager. I also filled out their "Contact Us" on their website. No reply. I figured dispute the charge and someone will contact me. Sure enough, I was finally contacted. It took a few weeks. Of course they denied that I ever contacted them. They also said that checking the batteries and putting air on the tires was "COMPLIMENTARY". So I guess that means they don't have to do it. They just want us to think they did. It makes me wonder what else did they not check? They also showed "proof" that they tested my battery. Proof that I did not get a copy of. And they said that I never sent them proof that my tires were over inflated. They never asked for it. How can they? They never contacted me back! Anyways, I didn't even ask America's Tires for paperwork. Why would I? Who lies about over inflated tires? They declined my credit card dispute. I'm thinking about fighting it again but I really don't want to waste any more time with people who has no accountability of their mistakes. They can go ahead and take their payment back since that will be the last time they will get my money. Piece of advice: If you value your time, your money and most importantly, your life; do not go here. read more

The service and sales department really should have different yelp pages. Most of the good reviews are for the sales department as naturally they are very nice to you. I had a small problem and needed service. My car port stopped working and because I checked the fuse myself (simple pulled it out and put one back in) they said I had to pay $200 for the inspection plus would have to pay to fix it. When I told the girl I wouldn't pay that she acted very rude. This was after waiting over 20 minutes for someone to even come to my car to speak with me. Disappointing experience read more

Alfonso our sales guy was absolutely amazing, he got us the car we wanted at the price we wanted. He went above and beyond with everything. We couldn't have asked for any better service. Truly was a pleasure working with him. And then our finance guy Luis made the transition at the end very smooth. Explained every little detail and paper very well. Overall, they were fantastic and would definitely go back there again. We came in with no expectations but Alphonso got us the car we were looking for, and for the price we wanted. Awesome guy. This dealership is not concerned with their Customers lives and safety., my sister has an air bag recall that to this date has already killed 10 people and injured hundreds through out the United States. I tried calling Carson Honda to get the matter fixed they said sorry we don't have the part Well ok but should you take care of your customers by providing a loaner they said no it's not their problem. They actually told my sister don't put anyone in the passenger seat, my sister has 3 small kids and she uses a car seat she has no choice to use the passenger seat for one of her children. It's not her fault her car has a defect that can kill someone it's not her fault that the car she bought form Carson Honda is defective and they don't have parts to fix it, but I thought a dealer like this can at least help a customer that bought a car from them Well that's just very shame full goes to show you don't buy from this dealer they just take your money and forget you. What kind of a dealership will let a mother go out of their lot knowing a car they sold can hurt or possibly kill her passengers let alone her small children. She did order the part at least that's what the service advisor at your dealership said they did , then the advisor told her not to use the passenger side front seat on her Honda Accord, the issue here is what should she do knowing that this is her only form of transport and she has a family of 5 and is afraid to use the passenger seat should she keep driving back and forth from place to place because she has to avoid using the passenger seat, that does not make any sense the reason why we buy cars is to use them is it our fault as the consumer that Honda does not have the parts , no, is it your fault no i admit that , well provide your customers with loaners until the issue is fixed letting a person drive off the lot knowing that a safety issue still exists is just very irresponsible. If the recall was on a radio or lets say the air condition system that's not really a cause for concern but it's on a safety system that's has been proven it has killed and your right the airbag does affect millions of Hondas in the United States problem is what are you going to do now about it. read more

This place is a rip-off. I brought my car here to get an interior dome light (it wasn't working on the door function then wasn't working at all), 3 console buttons (the A/C, Mode and Rear Defroster weren't always lighting up when the headlights were turned on) and the driver's side sun visor (it would hang down a bit) checked. It turns out they wanted over $60 each just to check the 2 areas that dealt with the lights. Hours later, I was told my dome light is fine but I need to replace the console buttons completely. So I had them order the parts. After paying over $120 to get these 2 light areas checked they want an additional $400 to install relatively small and easy parts. To put it in perspective, regular mechanics would only charge between $10-$40 for the sun visor and just a tad more for the pop-in console buttons. On top of this, the dome light stopped working on my "door open" function and the console buttons have been working fine since. So they completely misdiagnosed both areas. I had enough, so I called the parts department and asked them to ship the parts to a different Honda dealership for pickup. They told me to speak to the service department. Service transferred me back to parts. Parts said I must have misunderstood him and told me I had to wait for them to come in before I could possibly have them sent elsewhere. I left a negative Yelp and Google review and they responded: "We are sorry to hear about your poor experience. We would love to speak with you directly to hear more about your recent experience so that we can rectify it for you and for other guests. Please contact General Manager, Kris Kratky at 855-828-4290 at your earliest convenience." But when I called and left a voicemail for Kris Kratky he never responded. When I went to go pick them up I was basically ignored. After waiting at the service desk the young lady told me to go to the parts desk. When I went there the cashier stuck his finger up in front of my face and helped other people first. After waiting patiently for way too long, I went to go find the manager. But someone on the first floor brought me back to the parts desk. When it was finally my turn, the cashier went to go get the parts and he brought back 3 of the same part -- all of which were the same wrong part. I pointed this out then he went to tell the manager of his department. He came back and asked me to show him my car. We went out to the lot and I showed him the 3 console lights that were out. He told me that those parts weren't the way to fix it. I didn't need 3 new parts, I just needed 3 new lights. When you take into account that my interior dome light really was out that means the service department either misdiagnosed both problems or never even looked at them in the first place and charged me anyway. I reported them to the Bureau or Automotive Repair and filed a dispute with my credit card company but they demand I get a second opinion from a license mechanic. The problem is a second opinion would cost more than what I was initially charged so it looks like they legally ripped me off unless I go to small claims court. read more

The service department has a "customer vehicle observation area." If you're the type that feels more comfortable watching your car get serviced, you know what a boon this is. Not terribly fast. Pulled in at 8 am on a Thursday morning for an oil change, was checked in a couple minutes later; car sat out front for 10-15 minutes before being brought back. Waited about 1.5 hours for an oil change, WITHOUT wash (yeah, I should be changing my own oil, but I have an Si, and it's a bitch getting to the filter, so I just have the guys with the lifts do the job right). Meanwhile, the coffee/hot chocolate machine ran out of hot chocolate mix; free bottled water is a nice gesture, though. Several months later, went back for another oil change, opted for the car wash (a mistake, I know--I usually wash my own car, microfiber towels, blah blah blah, the whole deal, but I've been lazy, and they offered), and ended up with a ton of microscratches (micro scratches/spiderwebs/whatever you want to call them) all over the car. Oh well. Live and learn. read more

I was really impressed with Internet Sales Manager, Tyson Toeller. I hate negotiating on the phone or in person for buying a new car. I rather negotiate via the internet. When I emailed Tyson, he immediately responded with a great offer with all the accessories that I wanted priced out in a logical, easy to understand manner. He even thoughtfully included all taxes/fees/licensing in his email, so that I would know exactly how much I would pay for the car in total (instead of other dealerships who would quote you a price to get you into the store and then shock you by tacking on the extra fees after you thought you had the "final agreed upon" price). Although I'm ultimately buying my car at another dealership only because Carson Honda doesn't have my preferred color, Tyson really stood out, because it was so easy to negotiate with him via email. read more

Been getting our cars from this dealership for many years now. They never disappoint and always giving us a good deal.

I recently took my vehicle in to the dealer for service because my driver side window wouldn't go up. They assessed the situation and told me 2 parts broke, that it would take a week for the parts to get in. When I followed up a day before I was going to take it in, they told me only 1 part came in, that it might be another day or 2. I called again and my service rep was off, left a voicemail for the general manager, and a few hours later still no follow up call from them. I went online and chatted with a rep asking to speak with a service rep, said they would submit my request. Hours later I get a call from the manager telling me it might be up to another week before the part gets in. I asked for a loaner, they're all out. I asked if they could install the part that came in, no they can't. Asked if they could pay for expedited shipping on the part, the answer was no. So in other words, I have to figure it out. Not very friendly, not helpful at all. If I would have known this I would have made other transportation arrangements or sought to get the issue fixed a week ago. At this time I will have to get a rental because I can't wait another week for my car to get fixed. Very dissatisfied. read more
