If you buy a car from this group make sure you actually see the carfax report and make sure that it is for the actual car you are interested in. we bought a car from these people and they said that it was not in an accident. The car never really ran quite right. Brakes felt odd at times so we decided to trade it in. When we went to trade it in at another dealership (not carsense) their carfax of this car said that it was in an accident, airbags deployed etc. When we called back carsense to complain the manager said that the person who sold us the car and lied about the carfax did not work there any more and there was nothing they would do about it anyway. I would never buy a car from this group. They advertise that their cars look and feel new. Totally untrustworthy. When you go on their lot to look at cars I was under the impression that all of their cars were accident free, low milage, great shape etc. NOT!!!! read more

My name is Gabriella, and on December 30, 2009, my parents and I purchases a Kia Rio. The reason why I chose a Kia was because of the manufacturer's 10 year warranty. Before purchasing the car, we specifically asked the salesman John Thomas, who is no longer with the company, if the 10 year 100,000 mile manufacturer's warranty would carry over once we purchased the vehicle. He assured us that this was the case. Yesterday, my check engine light came on, and today my mechanic told me that one of the ignition coils is misfiring. He told me to contact Kia since this should be covered under the warranty. To my surprise, when I contacted Kia they informed me that the warranty was only 5 years because I was not the first owner. After speaking to several people at CarSense, a manager named Gregory told my mother that although he believes we were lied to by one of the company's salesman, there is nothing he can do. This is absolutely unacceptable. My family owns a business, and we know first hand that there is always something you can do to make a costumer happy. We have bought three cars from CarSense, spent more than $80,000, recommended this company to anyone who would listen, and I had intended on trading in my Kia in a couple of months and purchasing a fourth car from CarSense. Although Gregory assured me that I would receive "top dollar" for my trade in, I honestly do not believe anything that anyone at CarSense tells me. I am so angry that I was deceived, and no one at CarSense cares enough to try to rectify the situation. I assure you that I will never do business with CarSense again, I will tell everyone I know to never do business with CarSense, and I will write negative reviews of this company on every website that I possibly can. read more

Had one of the worst experiences of my car buying life thanks to salesperson Steven. Would not even give me a price on my trade and said it would be a waste of his and the service managers time (BB 3-4K). Kept trying to give me the old monthly payment amount garbage and was extremely hard sell. I sent a message after this experience which I am sure ended up in the trash. We just purchased a minivan from Car Sense and it was absolutely the best experience. Our Sales Consultant Keith G. was just wonderful and showed such enthusiasm for his job and working with us. He explained everything about the Town & Country minivan we purchased and answered all of our questions. Within 2 hours we were on our way home with our new minivan. We also received a fabulous value on our trade-in, much more than we anticipated. This is our 3rd time purchasing a car at Car Sense, and it was just as good this time as the other two times. I will never buy a car here again. DON'T DO IT!! Within 3 months of purchasing a 2 year old 2015 Jeep Patriot we had to replace both front and back brakes, and Car Sense "resurfaced the rotors", then my tire blew out and my Mechanic informed me that all 4 tires were no good and dry rotting. All of this and still under the 6 month warranty at Car Sense, who refused to replace all 4 tires, just the one that blew out, and informed me that they would pass the other tires at inspection and that the majority of tires on their lot are in that condition. No thanks!! I'll never be back, and I'm warning anyone else to go elsewhere or make sure to have your own mechanic thoroughly inspect the vehicle before buying even if it's a newer car. The service dept at Car Sense is terrible. Oh yeah, and the they replaced both rotors the third time I had to come back, because "they were uneven, and they didn't do a good job resurfacing them the first time". - their words. Not mine... what a nightmare. So, I'll be replacing the other 3 dry rotted tires at my own expense, because I don't want my families lives in jeopardy. read more

Found a car online. Called them and gave them the stock number. Told him I was interested in looking at the car next morning and set an appt up. They left me a vm early the next morning to tell me that the price on line was wrong and that it was too low. My opinion is that the price was fine but because of the level of interest in the car they figure they could get more money for it. Another car dealer that likes to play games if you ask me. Bought 2 cars from carsense, the first one with a warranty for $1,722.00 through Signet Financial Group. If not used in 5 Years complete refund. Paid for minor repairs as to not put a claim against warranty. Come to find out, Signet hasn't paid anybody and dissappeared. Will never by another car from Carsense and will discourage anybody else from doing so. read more

Their sales team is really great - no hassle, no pushing. They let you take your time and find what you like, and are quick to help when you do need it. They're also really good with following up after the sale and are really personable. They helped get me a great rate on the loan as well, which was awesome. The only complaint I'd really have is the service department. Their customer service is decent - on one occasion they'd mis-scheduled my service appointment in their computer but bumped me up immediately to the time I'd set it up for. For the actual service, I'm pretty sure they messed up my brakes. During a normal inspection a year and a half ago they called and said I should get my brakes adjusted, and I gave them the OK trusting their judgment. My brakes were about 90% then, and as of my last inspection in March they're almost shot already. I don't do a lot of hard driving and have only put on 24K miles on the car, and everyone I've spoken to said there's no way I should need brakes already with the way I drive. I thought it was maybe a ploy to get me in sooner to buy new brakes, but in my March inspection they didn't even say anything (no "hey it looks like your brakes are super low, want us to change those for you?"), just gave me the paperwork and a "see ya". So....not sure what's up there. Will definitely continue buying my cars here, but probably won't be coming back for service and inspections. I need to be able to trust my service team to do the right work on my vehicle, and to let me know when something's wrong (or close to being wrong) so I know my vehicle's safe. read more

After having a good experience purchasing 2 cars from Car Sense in Hatfield we thought it would be a great place to find a car for my girlfriend. We did plenty of research on the website and found 3 cars that we liked. On a Saturday we went to the dealership in Hatfield when it opened. We were greeted by John G. To make a long story short it was the start of the worst car buying experience the two of us have ever had. From the time she chose the car that she liked and it was time to sit down we were treated like numbers. The salesman was working with multiple other customers while no less than 4 other employees were standing at the door chatting with each other. Between chasing down John to see where the progress was, the paperwork errors, and the incompetent detail staff it was just a miserable and frustrating process. We had to ask 3 times to have the dried wax removed from the car which was ridiculous. How nobody noticed wax all over the body is a mystery to me. With the amount of paperwork errors that were made, the company and employees should be embarrassed. In the past when I have purchased vehicles, the salesman is with you through the entire process. I was never left waiting with questions while the salesman focused on making multiple other deals with people right in front of me! Financial paperwork is triple checked for accuracy before it is presented to the customer for signatures. In my experience I have never been shuffled out of a dealership after making a purchase like I was a total nuisance. If she didn't like the car so much I would have had no problem walking right away from that place and never looking back. There were two employees that did work hard to help make things right. They were a manager Brian and an employee Haley. They did their best to make up for John G's shortcomings because I guess he was just too busy. The body shop that repaired a ding in the fender also did an amazing job. How a sizable ding passed through whatever they call "quality control" to the sales lot is also a mystery. Never again will I consider to do business with Carsense at any location. It was a total 180 from the past two experiences I have had there. read more

Found a car online and agreed to buy it that evening. The trade-in value that was offered was acceptable. There was to be no financing involved so I thought it would be a simple , quick transaction. Our salesman had made 2 appointments at once so he was running back and forth between 2 desks which delayed everything and made us feel less than important. The really annoying issue was escalated by 3 other salespeople standing around not helping. It turns out there is an "incentive" not "commission" involved for the salespeople....so our guy was on his own! After our paperwork was printed 3 times because of inaccuracies, we finally got to leave after almost 3 hours! I enjoyed my new car for only a couple weeks when the transmission started to shake the car between 2-3rd gear. We are now in the process of trying to get CarSense to fix the problem. The car has already been serviced once and they basically said there was nothing wrong with the car. I'll keep you posted! read more
