They have a box that you pull…read moredown to the right of the door with the key drop slot, and it has a pen in there, envelopes, where you can tick off the things that you want done and write in anything extra. Loved that extra little bit of care because nothing drives me crazier than trying to find an envelope and pen in my car because there's nothing but a key drop slot in the door in so many other places. They think of the little things. I had made my appointment online a couple of weeks before using one of the flyers that came in the mail, I scanned the QR code. I did put it in my phone as a reminder however I actually put in the wrong day, I would have been a day late however they sent me a reminder text to let me know that hey your appointment is coming up. Amazing, and very timely! I spoke mainly with Brandon and in all my years I have never spoken to any car repair place and receive such great service. He listened to my concerns as I have a few because my car is older. They kept me apprised of every step of the way. From initial diagnostics, when they finish them they sent me a link that took me to a website but not only detailed information about what needed to be done, but also recommendations with PICTURES to show what they were talking about. I was able to show them to my brother who was mechanic in New Jersey he said I see their concern and he agreed on their diagnostics, but we're getting rid of the car within a year so no need to do those things right now. When I spoke to Brandon we talked about what needed to be done for the inspection, the things that I wanted to have done extra including the oil and having an A/C repaired, and there was zero hard sell of any of the other options that were recommended but not needed at time of service. I have never had such an amazing experience at a mechanic shop in all my years and I can guarantee I will never go to another auto repair shop as long as I live in this area, I finally found the best mechanics around and trust me I've been to probably just about all of them including dealerships. They are absolutely outstanding and it didn't matter who I spoke to on the phone they were great, Brandon stood out as exceptional. Thank you Ross for the detailed Diagnostics.

    Not entirely satisfied. We went in to get tires mounted. [New tires] and after, we had a new…read morethinking sound that wasn't there before on the front driver side. Took it to another auto shop to see if they can pinpoint the sound and the only thing they could say is that one of the BRAND NEW parts were now broken. Now these new parts have maybe 50-100 miles on them. If that. Going to call tomorrow [monday] to see if anything can be done. The car has only been driven home [about 4 blocks] and to the other shop [about 2 miles] since we took it to c&j.

    My problem is with whoever runs the Firestone appointments on the website. I arrived at 9:25 for a…read more9:30 appointment for an oil change (which should take about 20 minutes). I waited, waited, waited for 90 (NINETY) minutes, then asked for a status update. They had not even started my car. I asked for my keys and just left, because I had to catch a train at 11:30. The health of my car will be impacted because of Firestone's careless lack of organization. This was my first time at a Firestone and it will certainly be my last. I didn't want to hold off on something as important as an oil change, but I'll wait for my usual guys to come back from vacation rather than waste my time in Firestone's uncomfortable waiting room. If you have anything going on in your life at all, Firestone is NOT the place to take your car.

    I would not recommend Firestone located on Forty Foot Road in Lansdale. My husband took his truck…read moreto this location regarding an issue with his heating/air conditioning. He was told that a diagnostic test was run and his coolants were flushed and replaced. Within a day, his truck cabin filled with smoke, overheating, ready to catch fire, and he was stranded for hours on Rt. 476 waiting to be towed. The truck was towed back to Firestone to be reevaluated. Evan the manager was beyond rude, unreasonable, and would offer no credit towards the original work which was incorrectly diagnosed at close to $800. The truck was then taken to a Dodge Ram dealership where they discovered that the heating core was shot dumping coolant into the cab of the vehicle. It cost $3000 to fix, but at least it was repaired and repaired correctly. The fact that Firestone did not catch this during a diagnostic is either due to lying or incompetence. When my husband went back a second time to speak to Evan at Firestone, he was again unapologetic and flip. He angrily agreed to reach out to his manager and it was agreed that a credit in the form of a check in the amount of $175 would be sent to us. Over 6 weeks has gone by and we have not received the credit. I reached out to Evan and explained who I was and asked him if he recalled the situation. His words were, "I deal with a lot of cars. I do remember that your husband came in and was acting unreasonable, so I contacted my regional manager for a refund." His tone was uncalled for and escalated the interaction. The conversation continued from there with Evan yelling at me and not letting me get a word in. I ended the conversation by letting Evan know that I would be calling corporate and hanging up. I filed a complaint with corporate that same day. At this point, the situation is less about the refund and more about Evan's unprofessional attitude and aggressive behavior. We have been Firestone customers and credit card holders for well over 25 years and have used several locations in Pennsylvania as well as New Jersey. Our relationship with Firestone is over and the credit card is canceled. A response to this review with an apology and a request for me to email socialcare@bfrc.com with full details, contact info, and an invoice number like I have seen with every other negative review response is unacceptable and will not be happening.

    *** DO NOT RECOMMEND! ***…read more I always try to give my business to local/family owned shops. This time it was a mistake! I came to J's Auto Service for a routine state inspection and emissions check. Everything was fine other than a puncture in one of my tires and my brake lights being out. When I picked up my vehicle the odometer was up an additional 5 miles even though their invoice states there was no change in mileage. (Miles in 158,162, actual miles out 158,167 ( see attached photos)). This was odd but I didn't think anything of it since a road test is usually preformed. Fast forward to when I got the tire replaced at their shop/to get my other sticker for inspection. I picked it up after work and was a little surprised it costed $52.86 ($63.11 - $10.25 (state safety sticker)) for ONE tire. I started driving and realized my dashcam was unplugged. I contacted the shop and asked why this happened. I spoke with Christine who told me, "All we did was install your tire and check your brake lights". I go home and review the footage. I come to find out that they did indeed unplug my dash cam. Not cool. I also reviewed the footage from the day of my inspection. Prior to my vehicle ever being inspected, Jamie and Christine used my vehicle to pick up another customers car! They came back, inspected my vehicle and then conducted a road test. I paid for a state inspection/emissions test, not for them to use my car for their business. I will not be giving them my business after this and will not recommend them to anyone.
