My problem is with whoever runs the Firestone appointments on the website. I arrived at 9:25 for a 9:30 appointment for an oil change (which should take about 20 minutes). I waited, waited, waited for 90 (NINETY) minutes, then asked for a status update. They had not even started my car. I asked for my keys and just left, because I had to catch a train at 11:30. The health of my car will be impacted because of Firestone's careless lack of organization. This was my first time at a Firestone and it will certainly be my last. I didn't want to hold off on something as important as an oil change, but I'll wait for my usual guys to come back from vacation rather than waste my time in Firestone's uncomfortable waiting room. If you have anything going on in your life at all, Firestone is NOT the place to take your car. read more

I would not recommend Firestone located on Forty Foot Road in Lansdale. My husband took his truck to this location regarding an issue with his heating/air conditioning. He was told that a diagnostic test was run and his coolants were flushed and replaced. Within a day, his truck cabin filled with smoke, overheating, ready to catch fire, and he was stranded for hours on Rt. 476 waiting to be towed. The truck was towed back to Firestone to be reevaluated. Evan the manager was beyond rude, unreasonable, and would offer no credit towards the original work which was incorrectly diagnosed at close to $800. The truck was then taken to a Dodge Ram dealership where they discovered that the heating core was shot dumping coolant into the cab of the vehicle. It cost $3000 to fix, but at least it was repaired and repaired correctly. The fact that Firestone did not catch this during a diagnostic is either due to lying or incompetence. When my husband went back a second time to speak to Evan at Firestone, he was again unapologetic and flip. He angrily agreed to reach out to his manager and it was agreed that a credit in the form of a check in the amount of $175 would be sent to us. Over 6 weeks has gone by and we have not received the credit. I reached out to Evan and explained who I was and asked him if he recalled the situation. His words were, "I deal with a lot of cars. I do remember that your husband came in and was acting unreasonable, so I contacted my regional manager for a refund." His tone was uncalled for and escalated the interaction. The conversation continued from there with Evan yelling at me and not letting me get a word in. I ended the conversation by letting Evan know that I would be calling corporate and hanging up. I filed a complaint with corporate that same day. At this point, the situation is less about the refund and more about Evan's unprofessional attitude and aggressive behavior. We have been Firestone customers and credit card holders for well over 25 years and have used several locations in Pennsylvania as well as New Jersey. Our relationship with Firestone is over and the credit card is canceled. IKYLE does not work here any more. If I could give negative stars I would!! The remaining crew of Mike, Chad and others do not want to give you any customer service or any repair service either. They believe that they can treat people poorly They failed to do 2 common maintenance items on my car and kept it for 3 days without any explanation When I wet to get my car, Mike said he would discount my bill for any inconvenience but of course he failed to do that too! When this place first opened, easily 5 stars. Not anymore. I've been taking my vehicle and my wife's vehicle here for years for routine alignments. Lately, customer service has been rock bottom and now, I am having major trust issues with them after my most recent service (lack of) last Saturday. I brought my vehicle in for drop off service (alignment) at 11:00AM. Come 5:00, I hear nothing of a status update so I give them a call (They close at 6:00). Front desk guy says he's not sure so let him find out and he'll call me back in a few minutes. I hear nothing back for over 40 mins so I decided to head over there at 5:50 as they closed at 6:00. Walk in and asked for a status update. Again, he asked for a few minutes to check on the status. I see him walking around on the phone. 20 mins later, he says he was on the phone with the tech looking for my keys as it was randomly placed somewhere. Finally finds it. Then I asked if my alignment was done. He says he's not sure but the tech on the phone said it was done. Then I asked for my alignment readout which I have ALWAYS gotten. He said it must not have been printed out but the alignment was done. Funny how just a minute ago, he said he wasn't sure and relied on the tech's answer. Now that I start asking questions, he's certain. I go out to my vehicle and noticed it was parked in the same spot I left it. Got into my car and noticed my steering wheel AND my wheel lock was in the exact same position I deliberately set them. Final confirmation, I checked my dash cam footage as things were not adding up. It has footage of me dropping my car off and then the next footage was me picking up my car. My car sat in that spot the ENTIRE day without being serviced and then they got the audacity to assure me service was done. AND if that wasn't infuriating enough, I booked another appointment for the next morning to follow up. It wasn't confirmed (fair enough) so I stopped by in person to present my issue to a different front desk guy. After hearing all of this, his only response was "I wasn't here yesterday so..." and shrugs me off. I get it, if the shop was overbooked and they couldn't get to my car, it happens. That was your first chance to own up to it and diffuse the issue versus the route your business took to lie to my face about it. 2nd chance was when I came in the next day to try to resolve the issue and was shrugged off. I do recommend for routine services, oil changes, tires, alignments, batteries, flat tires. I have used this shop over a dozen times if not more having 4 vehicles. There also have been a number of service managers over the years. The current manager Kyle is very personable and is a fair person to deal with. If you have a car that needs special repairs or special parts you may want to consider the dealer or at least ask what the charges are going to be for the parts or materials that they do not have in-house. The mark up can be substantial. Initially I was quoted one price but when I went to pick it up the price was quite different. With over a dozen interactions with this shop I always would say 4-5 stars. This last interaction has changed my perception a little , will definitely look over my bill's a little closer and will keep an open mind the next time I may need them. 3.5 read more

Do not go to this place. We have taken our car in there twice. Shortly after each time, within a few days, something else on the car breaks out of nowhere. First it was the bearings in the rear wheels, then it was something else drastically wrong with the engine that we are now having looked at. Would not recommend for your grandparents to go here! My grandmom went here over a month ago 2 times. Both times she dealt with a man named Jake Alderfer (may not be correct spelling) a mechanic there. She went to get her car inspection done. He tried to make her fix things that did not need to be fixed before he would put the sticker on. Luckily she thought of calling my Uncle (a mechanic down in Virginia) before paying more than $1,500 for bs. He disagreed with everything and told her to get her car out of there. He screamed at my 85 year old grandmom for 15 minutes. After my Uncle came down and only thought she needed her breaks done she went back for them to check it and get the sticker. Same man yelled at her and made her pay $35 more than she was quoted because "she took her car out of there before". I only heard about this earlier today, or I would have left a review earlier. Terrible place and that man should never be around customers again. read more

I made an appointment for an oil change for 11:30AM so I could have it done on my lunch break. Arrived on time and asked if it could be completed before 1:00. "Should be no problem" was the answer. My gym was nearby so I went there and returned at 12:30. My car was on the lift but no one was working on it. My guess is the oil change was completed since I had a view of the car from the waiting area and the only thing I saw them do to it after I got back was to put the mileage sticker on the windshield. So... 40 minutes later (1:10) I got my car back. I inadvertently had left my gym bag in the lobby and did not notice it missing until the next morning. I called to check if it was there the next morning and it was. Went in at noon and sure enough it was right where I left it. Apparently nobody thought there might have been something of value in it and to keep it for me in a safe spot. They left it there in open view of the desk and did nothing with it. Fortunately nothing was taken. NEVER going back. read more

They were able to squeeze us in when our car broke down coming home from vacation. They were unable to fix it but made sure we could get in to a garage for repairs! Extremely helpful and friendly! read more

Disgust of service, I took my car to change the 4 tires, they returned it to me without the balance and the tires with different pressure (25,27,28,29) which made the car pull to one side, I returned to claim and they did not want to solve it the same day, I called customer services to make my claim and they attended me the same day, but again they did not do the road test and the car would still go to one side and the tires again without the correct pressure, the next day I went to Honda to change the oil and they finally corrected the error. read more
