John and all the family here are as amicable and informative mechanics as you will find anywhere. I know a friend who drives over 50 miles round trip to bring his car to Haucks. The garage is straight up, honest and friendly. read more

I have been going to Hauck's Garage for about 3 years and I'm very loyal to them. As a single woman who isn't super knowledgeable about cars, I worry about finding a garage that won't overcharge and over - diagnose my car issues. I am confident that this garage doesn't do that. They give the less expensive options a try before going for the expensive ones. They have even given me advice over the phone that fixed my issue without bringing my car in! I feel super comfortable there and highly recommend this place. When I go in, I honestly feel like family and that's rare for me for garages. I can't say enough good about this place! read more

I found them through a friend and I've been using them for the last 5 years. Always honest, they don't try to sell you on more than you really need, and the price for service is very good. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Went to high school with one of the mechanics there. Not only is he a long time acquaintance and pal, but he's an excellent mechanic. The entire Hauck family has always been honest and helpful. I would never take my car elsewhere. They have the means & know-how, and would never take advantage of a customer. Even when they thought it was my alternator and took the alternator off the car, when they tested it, it worked, and didn't charge me a dime extra. Great/honest mechanics are hard to find and that is why I'll never bring my business anywhere else. The only honest mechanics in Lansdale/N Wales/ Montgomeryville/ Blue Bell, etc are at Haucks read more

Awesome Service along with a great family. They are all good people who can help you with any car trouble you might be having.

Tried Hauck's for the first time for routine maintenance. I'm used to waiting hours at the dealership before my car was even looked at... I was impressed to get a call/update within 30-45 minutes. Fast, affordable, and professional service! read more

I had been using Ridge auto repair for quite awhile. The last time that I was there he could not fix my problem and said that you will be driving one day and the car will just break down. How comforting for a woman to hear this, someone then told me about Hauck,s, I took my car there, the problem was the transmission. While I was referred to the shop that could repair the problem, I did get the car fixed and it ran beautifully. I never go to Ridge anymore, only to Haucks. There is Saxbys coffee shop across the street and I wait there for my car to be serviced. The owner at Saxbys is very friendly and doesn't mind at all. Haucks is knowledgeable, friendly, and reasonably priced. read more

Wonderful service. Anything from changing oil to repairing air intake valves to towing...they have done it all! =)

I've been using Hauck's for 15 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. John, Tommy, and the rest of the "crew" are great. Hauck's has a good work ethic, are honest, has integrity, are fairly priced, and are great mechanics. read more

Plan your finances accordingly.... When you get your "final" bill, that doesnt mean "final" like you and i define the word. They have no problem whatsoever calling you days after you pay, and telling you that they made a mistake and you owe them almost triple what you already paid, IN ADDITION to your "paid in full" quote. Apologies you ask? HA! there will be none. Just pay us. Thats the last time they see me, unless they bill me again of course. read more

I had been going to Haucks for years, but my last experience with my inspection stickers was horrible. I've always dealt with John, who in the past has always been professional and honest. I unfortunately had to deal with Frank for my latest inspection and his bedside manner was horrible he was abrasive and deceptive. Not to mention dropping the F bomb every 5 seconds. My rear tires failed inspection. He told me I had to get new tires so the car would pass. But he started telling me that as soon as I left the lot I would have to pay for another inspection. After speaking with a dealership they told me that by law I had 10 business days to fix the issue at hand and then at that point Haucks would have to put the stickers on my car and not charge me. When I called to let Frank know this he hesitated and simply said.."well technically yes" Rather than telling me at the point of failing inspection. He could of been like if you get these tires fixed within 10 days, just come back and we will issue your stickers. Or give me temp stickers or just emission stickers. He had options but he chose to be deceptive and angry. I come back after putting new tires on to find out that he never did the Emissions test, just state inspection. So I had to eventually pay 45$ for them to add stickers. Why he never finished the whole test and then tell me I failed with my tires is beyond me. Of course when I explained to John about the incident and how abrasive and deceptive I thought his practices were John too had an attitude. I can't understand how business owners can be so rude to a customer who has been giving them business for years, not to mention referrals too. No matter if the customers is really wrong? or if there was a miscommunication, you should never make the customer feel like there idiots. I'm sure they don't even care but I will never ever return there again and would rather pay higher prices for friendlier service at a dealership than some local angry mechanic who is un professional. read more

My time with Hauck's garage this past year was one of the most unprofessional and unethical experiences I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. My 2001 Honda Civic was over 200k miles and was beginning to overheat. My father, who had previously done construction work for the Hauck business, insisted on taking my vehicle there since he swore by their work. After my first visit to Hauck's garage, I picked up my vehicle which proceeded to overheat the next day. And so began the cycle of dropping my car off at Haucks, them "fixing it," me picking it up, and then having to take it back within the next 24-48 hours. Mind you, they would keep the car for a week or two at a time. The process began to get very frustrating especially considering the garage never gave me the courtesy of updating me, I always had to make the calls. This went on for several months and each time I inquired whether or not the car should be junked and I was informed it was fixed. There was even an instance where I needed a loaner car from the garage and they gave me a 1988 vehicle with a driver side door that did not open, a gas and brake pedal that would stick, and a speedometer that would spin in circles so I never knew exactly what speed I was going. After complaining about the loaner, I got some run around answer from one of their dolt mechanics that the car is fine and the other loaner is in use by the owner. So after racking up an egregious amount in bills this shoddy business, I figured I would stop making a fool out of myself and get rid of the vehicle. This company should be ashamed of themselves. They swindled me out of thousands and provided me with a customer service experience on par with Comcast. To Hauck's garage, I am not sure how you continue to operate and I do not know where these positive reviews are coming from. I will not hesitate to put this review anywhere that I can on the internet in an attempt to deter people from going to your corrupt "garage." read more
