    We just returned from this business and had a very bad experience. One of us has been going there…read morefor 12-15 years and one of us has been going there for three years. There are two trucks and one car. Every 3000. miles these vehicles get an oil change from this business. Every time we have been there every one has been courteous. It does not take long to do the oil change. This time one of the trucks was brought in for an oil change. This truck needs specific oil and a specific oil filter. We told them about the items that we brought in for the oil change. There was someone new who we spoke to and he told us that the oil and filter we brought did not matter. The oil change would still cost $50.00 using the oil and filter. Previously we were charged $30.00 for an oil change. We left because that was ridiculous!! I said it was stupid. The man said said the oil change involves labor as well. The labor then is $50.00 I asked, and he said yes. Apparently if someone brings the specific oil and specific oil filter they want to be used, that person will be charged the same cost as having the full service. Considering the complete oil change service is $50.00, then the oil and filter are free because I was told the labor cost is $50.00! We did not receive any explanation when we questioned the cost of the service with using our own supplies. We will never return to this business!! We will also tell others about our experience. We will tell others not to go to this business for an oil change!! We just returned from a local inspection station and auto repair shop. Their price for an oil change is $25.00 !!!! Maybe not as convenient, but Half of the Price being charged by this business! And all they do are oil changes at this place!

    It all started with a small taillight bulb. I was treated with warm welcome and genuine listening…read moreand given options. The light bulb was ordered by Tom S. Unfortunately I needed to wait until inspection, due to personal difficulties and the patience was commendable. I really appreciated the kindness and support as life seemed to be out of my control. After the thankfully passed inspection, the car battery had been struggling in cold weather. So as my CBA Mechanical technician Matt was examining the vehicle and battery the alternator gave up. I appreciate how Tom Steven's, CBA Service Manager, careful checked together with Matt all options before deciding that I needed a new alternator. And to make matters even better, they helped me find a replacement alternator that was reasonably priced and quality condition. Since my car is older I was not wanting to pour money into repairs. The communication given to me and updates was so helpful and comforting. I was always aware of what was needed or happening. The diagnostic report and videos on each car concern was outstanding! And I mean outstanding and very informative as to how my vehicle is performing and why certain maintenance must be done. No pressure just made aware. Thank you Tom and Matt for making my car better and safer. I recieved and oil change, steering and brake fluid flush. And even more was able to have my headlights cleaned and trunk mechanism fixed so it wouldn't not fall on my neck. These many decisions were made together and the bill was not a regret but a privilege. The writing of this review is not just to praise Matt and Tom who were the best, and Chip, CBA owner, who shuttled me home and brought me back at completion of vehicle inspection, maintenance and several repairs. I really want to let anyone needing car care and /or repair service to try CBA. (Christian Brothers Automotive)!!! I truly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive! I want to close with a big thank you to AJ, Patrick , Anthony who answered my calls so welcomingly. Also Chip who helped me get home and back. So so good of you!!!     I had a very disappointing experience at Christian Brothers Automotive (Montgomery Mall, 565 DeKalb…read morePike, North Wales). My son brought in our car to have both rear brakes replaced. He provided the parts and was quoted about $300 for labor. The shop only replaced one rear brake, discovered the other caliper was seized, and then reassembled the car without calling us for options. Afterward, they informed him the vehicle was unsafe to drive but still charged the full $300 labor fee -- despite not completing the job. To make matters worse, they didn't even have the caliper in stock, leaving us with no solution. This was unacceptable. The lack of communication, releasing an unsafe car, and charging full price for incomplete work shows poor customer service and questionable business practices. Customers deserve honesty, fair billing, and consideration for safety, none of which we experienced here. Thomas Stevens was very dishonest, stating that we resided out of town on our invoice, when we live 15 minutes away from this location. Here at this location, they consider everyone else's position, but the customer. Their practices are unethical, immoral, and unjustifiable. My recommendation is that you search elsewhere for your automobile services as this franchise is anything but Christian based. I have reached out to the owner and I am waiting on a response. I will update this Post upon hearing from the Owner, Chip Eissler. I'm not sure if they're even recognized by the Better Business Bureau. I will look into it.

They got everything done very quickly and efficiently, but I felt that more could have been done, especially considering the fact that I am constantly on the highway. Sometimes, due to the way the car would drive, I felt intimidated by taking long trips on the highway, especially knowing how Philadelphia and NY drivers can be. Your car has to be in top notch condition and you have to be a skilled and aware driver. Today, I was just dropping the car off for a simple oil change, and I wasn't expecting this experience to be any more unique than the last. As a woman, walking in to any car service provider is intimidating, and as a woman who knows cars very well, I don't get taken seriously when I bring certain things to most repair center associates attention that are a concern of mine. I know when someone has rushed through a service, skipped steps, etc. I can't tell you how many times I've asked someone to check my tire pressure or alignment for them to say that it's fine, only to find out that it could have been better. Well, I picked the car up, jumped on the highway, and let me tell you, the car is driving like I just picked it up off of the lot. I don't know what has changed within the past few months, but whomever worked on my car TODAY deserves some sort of recognition because they definitely know what they're doing and do it very well. I hope that they know that there are people out there that pay attention and care about how their car drives and appreciate people who are willing to go above and beyond to provide service that everyone deserves at a reasonable price.
