    I dealt with Duy Tran and had an awesome and easy buying experience! I spent 1 hour with Duy on Friday to pick the car and talk $ and 2 hours on Saturday to do paperwork on my new GX and my trade-in. All the financing was done online Saturday morning while the car got ready and we were home by 4:30pm. I couldn't ask for a better buying experience and will be back in a couple years!

    Lexus ES-300H

    May 1997 I graduated from CCP with a degree in nursing and wanted to treat myself to a new car! I went to Wilkie Lexus the original location in Ardmore and brought a black on black ES300 off the showroom floor from my salesman Ray Johnson! Fast forward 26 years later and I decide to get another Lexus ES and Ray (no relation) is now the GM and connects me with Julie Thompson and behold I get a 2023 Lexus ES-300H like deja vu! I am extremely happy with my purchase and Julie and Ray made me feel like family! Julie even called a few days later to ensure I could operate everything! If looking for that Rolls Royce treatment without the cost give Lexus a try!

    Not sure what's happening with Wilkie-Lexus but recent $1.4k repair came with dreadful service. Arrived early morning. Zero pro-active communication from person who took my paperwork at service desk. I texted 1pm to ask for update, told additional repairs needed. No follow up. I call, leave message, no follow up. Call showroom and then go to service area to request call back on my behalf. I'm told car still not ready and shop is shortly closing. I manage to pick up car after hours ("so long as you pay now."). Here are pictures of what my car looked like. I've used Wilkie exclusively since buying my car there -- not sure that I'll continue to do so. Disappointed.

    My Special Order 2021 Lexus RC F Sport AWD - Flare Yellow

    Sales Department was understanding. Great customer service. I finally had the pleasure to deal with salesperson: DUY TRAN. A special order was placed on July 2020 for a 2021 Lexus RC 350 F Sport AWD with all the bells and whistles. Mainly, the flare yellow exterior color was not available at the time. Importantly, I was able to get the Lexus rebate for December. On the week of delivery, Mr. DUY TRAN finalized the documents and delivered my new car expertly. I am satisfied with his sales performance. Wilkie Lexus is a great place to purchase a LEXUS.

I worked initially with Richard Giuliani, Sales & Leasing Consultant, who was courteous, welcoming, and helpful throughout the process. However, once Mr. Hernandez became aware that I was attempting to negotiate pricing--a standard and reasonable part of the car-buying process--his approach toward me changed significantly. He intervened abruptly and questioned me in a manner that felt confrontational and dismissive, including interrogating me about a prior purchase made at a different dealership. His tone and demeanor made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I left the interaction feeling attacked rather than valued as a serious customer. Additionally, I am deeply concerned that racial bias may have influenced how I was treated. As an African American customer, the level of hostility and lack of professionalism I experienced stood in stark contrast to the respect one should expect in a sales environment. I am a high school personal finance teacher in North Philadelphia, and I routinely educate my students about consumer rights and discrimination in the marketplace. It is disappointing--and troubling--that I personally experienced the very behavior I warn my students to be vigilant about. This experience reflects poorly on dealership leadership and raises serious concerns about customer equity and professionalism.

I explained to the service desk the purpose of my visit. Four hours later, which was okay since I found a nice quiet room to sit, I was told that I needed the bushing on my lower control arms replaced. I said thank you for letting me know and that I would get my work done at somewhere else because the mechanic is less expensive. And, to please focus on the recall and warranty problem. The tech said okay and the dealership gave me a loaner car since the warranty repair was going to take a few days. About an hour later, I received a text that I needed a new transmission, stating that there was metal in the transmission fluid. Since there was metal in the transmission, the warranty for a torque converter was null and void. However, the gave me a quote for over $5,000 to replace the torque converter. I told them I was returning the loaner and taking the car to my mechanic. I brought the car over to my local mechanic, he put the car up on the lift and looked at the bushings on the lower arm controls. He agreed they are worn, but still have life. That there is no need to replace and will pass inspection. Then, he looked at the transmission fluid and said, how can they tell if there is metal. The fluid is brown, yes, but that does not mean metal. In an 8 year old car, you would expect the color of the transmission fluid to be brown. Additionally, when my mechanic hooked my car up to the computer, it would not run a diagnostic because something, maybe the battery had been disconnected. However, my paperwork from the dealership did pop the code for the torque converter and since warranty work doesn't pay as much as consumer work it would make sense on a big repair to try and get the consumer to pay. I submitted a complaint in with Honda corporate. My car drives well and I have had no mechanical problems with the car. Except for the transmission light which only comes on when I drive between 60-65 miles an hour. In summary, as much as you can, avoid this dealership service department.

    This hasn't been my favorite experience with VW service…read more I scheduled my 60k service (which is about 4x more expensive than the 50k, for literally no reason) and wanted to ensure that they rotated my tires so that my newest tires would be on the front. The service I worked was helpful with writing down exactly what I wanted them to do, but I assume something was lost in translation. When they called to tell me what they planned to do, they never mentioned anything the tire rotation and the potential issue there. I come back to pick up my car (after sitting a Starbucks for almost 2 hrs) and I notice that my tires have not been rotated per my request. Confused, the desk attendant and I walk outside to take a look - he says I'm right, then investigates with his work team. Only to learn, they decide not rotate the tires because they directional and would need to dismount them. ......why they didn't mention this on the phone before asking me to come pick up my car I do not know. So, now, because all of these spots are taken by other customers I have to wait to have this minor change made. They gentlemen offered to schedule me a ride back to the Starbucks, but after waiting 15-20 minutes a random serviceman came in saying "I didn't know you were waiting for a ride." Annoyed with my service here today, and am looking into finding a personal mechanic who will LISTEN, be more pro-active & efficient and provide a better customer experience.

I told him what I wanted and he grabbed 3 keys and showed me what fit what I was asking for. I promised to come back the next day at a certain time but things happened and he followed up. I was at a different dealerships but I genuinely couldn't forget about how helpful Riley was. I come back and he's working with clients and Quan helped me from start to finish yesterday with test driving two cars actually and the entire run down. My trade in was being problematic for my experience stressing me out until I was able to speak with John I believe he's like the exec sales manager don't quote me but he showed me everything I needed to see and my car was worse than I thought and I felt defeated I had to choose another car but without a blink of an eye John suggested a car and before this point I never really spoke to him and he told me he knew I would like this particular car so that was the second test drive. Anyways... he was attentive and RIGHT! I loved that car and it had every single feature I asked for matched my color preference and everything but most importantly it fit my budget and he really helped me. Two weeks later I go back and drop that car at 10:30 on a Saturday. At three they had not called and said they needed to hold It to Monday as they were too backed up. They are THE WORST NEVER WVER GO HERE.

    tl;dr Very frustrated with lack of interaction between service/parts. Won't be coming back. I've…read moretried to get two retrofits for my new Chevy after chips became available. I've had three issues with getting these chips, two of which are Armen's, and one of which seems to be only Chevy's fault. Issue 1 - Early 2023, I learn one of the two missing features on my 2023 Chevy is available to be retrofit. I make an appointment at Armen a few weeks ahead of the appointment date. I live 45 minutes away, so I use these appointment days to take the train into Philly and work there. About two weeks before my appointment, and one week after making it, I call to make sure the chip is in. To my surprise, no chip had been ordered. The service staff had not communicated to Parts that I was in need of a chip. Luckily, there was still enough time for the chip to be ordered. Chip came, appointment went fine, no other issues. But had I not called Parts to double check, I would have shown up on the appointment day without a chip available. Issue 2 - Late 2023, I go in for my other retrofit. No Parts issues, but I get a call midday during the appointment that the chip Chevy sent wasn't working. I was told due to the way these "recalls" work, they can't substitute a different chip. They said I'd have to come in again a different day so they could re-order another chip. I don't believe this is Armen's fault, but again, frustrating. Issue 3 - Early 2024, I call to make an appointment  to go in again for that 2nd retrofit. We schedule an appointment approximately two weeks out. The week before the appointment, I call Parts to confirm the chip has been ordered and is ready due to prior communication issues. Parts said it was there and ready for me. I get to the appointment and to my surprise, no chip has been ordered. I have to come again a different day so they can re-order the chip. I've drawn the line, and I'm not returning. Beyond frustrating.
