Arrived at 3pm. Agreed to their asking price for a new 2026 Mazda 3 when I arrived with daughter after she test drover it. I had a trade. They manager low balled me on my trade which was in excellent condition with low miles. MMR had it for $26k and he offered me $20k. I wanted to leave but my daughter loved the car so I stayed and negotiated back and forth until we agreed on the trade in value. They had us waiting hours to complete the paperwork even though I was paying cash. We finally were able to leave by 830pm. They sold the car in less than a month. I would never buy another car from Faulkner Mazda in Traverse again. They are your typical dealer who has no problem insulting the customer with lowball trade in values. Had decided to purchase a used Mazda before arriving at the dealership. My wife is disabled and spending hours at a dealership is difficult for her. We agreed to pay the full asking price and were very excited to get the deal completed. Cash deal no games. I informed our salesman that we had a hard stop at 4:15 to return to NJ to pick up our daughter. Also we took an Uber to the dealership so we could drive the purchase home. When we threatened to leave the sales manager came out. He was abrasive to say the least. My two favorite comments were. What did you think was gonna happen your not buying a toaster. Next comment was we are not a McDonalds drive through. Well I guess you are not focused on your customers either. I have a 2021 mazda 3 with 25,000 mile. I am now on my third battery, even though the internet has numerous reasons why Mazdas go through so many batteries the dealer tells me it's because most of my trips are under 30 minute. DO NOT GET SERVICE DONE HERE. They will lie to you, cheat, and scam. When I brought my car in I was quoted "around $300." I needed a rubber seal replaced to stop a transmission leak, they struggled for a week to find the right part. I asked them "does it cost me anything extra for you to keep ordering and testing the wrong parts" they said "no, absolutely not, and we don't charge to store the car either." I WAS very pleased. I called them days later and they said I owed $370 for the effort they put in trying to find the right part and NOT fix the leak. They then said I need to pay to replace more than what needs to be fixed because they "can't find the right part", which should total around $950. Total cost after taxes was $1,008, the original quote was ~$300. NEVER COME HERE read more

I was in the market for a new car. I did a lot of research and emailed or texted dozens of dealers. This place definitely re-enforced all the negative stereotypes folks have of car dealers. We had a an agreement on a quote, then was ghosted while they sold the car for a higher price. I can live with that, it happens. More egregious was not only withholding that I would be eligible for a $1000 cash back bonus, but twice lying that the bonus was tied to a trade in. 2 other dealers led with all the rebates I could get. It's a shame that some dealers still resort to sleazy tactics and give some of the other higher integrity dealers a bad name. I scheduled an appointment with a down payment of 2/3rds, and I walked out with nothing because they were unwilling to get me a payment that was doable. IT DIDN'T MATTER THAT I WAS A RETURNING CUSTOMER. I went to Delaware, and I put $0 down, and my payments are less with no money down. Their detail department does not know what it's doing. If you buy a vehicle from them that has been detailed by them, check it very carefully in full sun for swirls and holograms. Very disappointed as the only resolution they offered was to bring the vehicle back an hour and half each way and let their detail department have another wack at it. No thank you. I took it to a professional detail company who stated to get a result that bad you either have to not care or intentionally be doing a bad job. The swirls and holograms were over the entire vehicle. Bought a used car in June (Subaru) from Faulkner Mazda-Trevose and we just took it in for the first free oil change I was told came with the car. Come to find out ONLY MAZDAs get free oil changes. So if you are buying a car that is Not a MAZDA from this place you get no perks. Seems a bit discrimatory to me and they charged me $85 to do the service. I made an appointment for service last week, but ended up having to reschedule because of my work schedule and the lady was very helpful and kind about it. The lady called me to discuss my needs and the possibility of using a loaner car to make it easier for me. The lady help me change my appointment a few times to make things as convenient as possible for me which was support nice. I was able to drop my car off and get the free rental within 10 minutes. They gave me a 2017 Mazda 6 Touring as my loaner car that was fully loaded. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the car and new technology the newer Mazda have and interior design is super nice. I got a phone call about 3 hours after I dropped my car off saying everything was done. There was a recall on part of my Mazda 6 that they replaced and also did my oil change and tire rotation, full inspection and car wash for only $79 with coupons that they emailed me for the month. This was great considering most dealerships over charge. I wasn't able to pick my car up until the following morning since they closed before I got done work which wasn't a problem for them. I was in first thing in the morning, paid and was out within 10min. Overall, my experience was great here and will definitely be using them again! read more

I made an appointment for service a couple weeks back. Jamie the CSR called me make to discuss my needs and the possibility of using a loaner car. After discussing everything in detail she thought it would be best to leave my car rather than wait for it to be inspected. She adjusted my appt to first thing Monday morning which was perfect. I was able to drop my car off, get the free rental and get to work only 30 minutes after my start time. The morning off I drove my car in and checked in with the service desk. They asked me if I needed anything else from the car before getting the loaner and I explained that my dog and my lunch were both still in the car. I take my dog to work with me every day which is why she was with me. The CSR informed me that dogs were not allowed in the loaner car but they would make an exception for me since I was already there with the dog. She did explain if the dog caused any damage or if they needed to spend any extra time detailing the car after my use-there would be a charge. I graciously accepted this. The loaner was a fully loaded 2017 CX-5 crossover. They had my car for about 4 hours before determining I needed the following: an alignment, a new tire and tire rotation and wiper blades. I was quoted $99.00 for the alignment, $69.00 for the tire rotation and $23 for the wiper blades. This was reasonable considering the fact that dealerships typically rob you blind. My car was ready around 4 PM. When I went to pay, drop off the rental and get my car back I was in and out within minutes. I am happy with the experience overall and would use them again. read more

The buying process of the car was great. I had a very wonderful experience with the car sales team. Once I bought the car though... First off, during the car buying process, I was given the wrong paperwork to sign - it had an incorrect VIN Number. The dealership was nice enough to FedEx over the papers. I had some questions on the paperwork when I received and played telephone tag for several days to get the questions answered during which I received numerous texts reminding me to get the paperwork back in. Great. Sent it back. Then I got my registration sent to me with the wrong name. They are going to reimburse the cost for me to change the name of the registration, which I was happily surprised by but have not received a check yet. I then scheduled an oil change (you get two free oil changes). Now, grant it, the dealership was hit pretty hard by a tornado recently. After calling a couple of numbers, I just confirmed that service is suspended due to the damage, saving me an inconvenient drive. Obviously, fixing the damage from the storm is much more inconvenient than driving on Street Road, but it just goes to customer service. They have a text system. Just have the text system cancel everyone's service appointments. I mean, basically, they do not pay attention to the details. Buying a car is already stressful and I have not enjoyed the numerous follow ups from their incompetency read more

I recently took my car in for its first service appointment. I was able to make the appointment online, which was super convenient. My service rep, Ashley, was super helpful in making sure the car had everything it needed. The mechanic sent a video of the inspection as I waited, which was unexpected but great to watch. We bought a CX-9 here and Jose (I think that he's working as a missionary now) was great. Usually, I get glares from car salesmen because I come in with the invoice, market, and MSRP prices all ready, but the team here was great about negotiating the price and trade-in. We drove away in our new car in less than an hour, and the price was at least $1500 lower than what John Kennedy offered. Sorry but when you're getting a new car, the only thing that sets a dealer apart is the trade-in value and final price (ideally, nothing more than $500-700 above invoice). Buying a car can be quite an arduous journey but this transaction was fast, productive, and cost-efficient. I can't ask for more. I'll definitely be back should I decide on a Mazda in July. When I called this morning to confirm my purchase, I was told that the car had a deposit on it and that they didn't even have the title from the previous owners. they told me there was no way for them to mark the car as on hold in their system, I call bullshit! if there is a deposit on a vehicle, it should not appear on a current for sale list on the dealership site. I WILL NEVER EVER purchase a vehicle from your dealership and I will make sure everyone I know avoids your dealership like the plague. My steering wheel felt loose for months after I took it to Faulkner Mazda 3 times to correct mistakes they made when installing my Android Auto (burned dashboard, a scratched up dashboard replacement, etc.). It turned out that the technicians at Faulkner failed to put the two bolts back to secure my steering column when reinstalling my dashboard. As a result, my steering column was really messed up after driving it unknowingly for several months. I dreaded having to go back to Faulkner after dealing with them several times, so I let it go for a while until I felt it was very unsafe to drive. This repair would have cost me thousands of dollars, but Peruzzi Mazda was able to find a loophole and ensure that this repair would be covered under warranty. read more

Beware. Simply unbelievable how rude and cavalier they can be about.abominable financial practices - after they make the sale. I was the "ideal" customer: called them to make an offer to buy new car, for their price, Went directly to dealer with no requirement for any negotiation or financing. Should have "walked" right then when it took over 1.5 hours to process paperwork for what was basically a "cash" deal. Week later, they called to say a check for part of the payment was NSF. It was not. Had to drop everything to get the proof and only then did they acknowledge it was THEIR "clerical error." Worse, though they admitted discovering their "mistake" that was never acknowledged till I called them to prove it. Such total careless record keeping and making it my problem, just mind boggling. Simply have no trust in them as a consequence. And rude besides. Later in day, called their GM about my experience, as no one ever called me to talk about it - as I had requested. Far from apology, after he insincerely said "sorry" he talked lot about how "mistakes happen" and clearly annoyed because I was not sympathetic or understand that he's a very busy man and was distracted because he "has 90 million things to do." Plenty of dealers; I will be going elsewhere for next car - and service on this one. Meanwhile, I can only hope they actually processed the new car registration with PennDpt properly. read more

I traded in my old car in order to buy Mazda 6 2014. They gave me a fair price for my old vehicle, arranged a good financing for new one, also they accepted my offer for new car without much talking. Service team was very responsive to my needs for all these years I owned the vehicle. Service facility has free coffee and water. Prices are reasonable and wait time usually a way shorter than I expirienced aith other brands. I am planning to buy a new car from them after a few years. read more

She is awesome, she really took the time to listen to what we wanted and needed and worked with us. She got us a great deal on our trade in and the price of our car. Zoom Zoom....thats how fast customer service is at Faulkner Mazda. Every time I call they can take my car anytime I wish, even right away. There is no hassle, and they do excellent work. My car needs to be inspected in December, and since this is a busy time, it is awesome to just be able to drop it off ,get some service and get a new sticker. They do charge dealer prices, but for convenience, its worth it. Also, I bought my car at Faulkner Mazda and though it sounds like an oxymoron, it was a pleasure. No pressure sales tactics, just the skinny on what they can do to get into one of their vehicles. Customer service at Faulkner Mazda is amazing. They are so nice and they really try to help as best they can to get you what you're looking for. Purchasing my car was a pleasant experience. Since then I've been taking my car up for oil changes and regular maintenance and even that has been pretty pleasant. The maintenance sometimes is pricier than other places but I like the security. I just know they'll do a good job and I won't have any problems anywhere else. I bought my tires elsewhere because of the significant difference in price but everything else I've done at Mazda. The wait for an oil change is pretty long (about two hours) but they do an all around check of the car as well. They advise you of anything they find before replacing it and they tell you if you really need new breaks or tires or if you'll be ok until your next visit. So basically you are prepared on your next visit. They do send frequent advertisements through email and regular mail so that you could check out the new cars. I just ignore them but its sometimes tempting and I start thinking about upgrading. Then I remember that I just cant afford it! haha. I can imagine there are people out there that do fall for the temptation. Not me!! read more

Bought a 2010 CX7 a couple years ago there. -Yesterday had tires replaced (very rare expensive tires that only fit this model) - Rear tire still had greater than 60% tread left. (Worth about $350) - I asked to keep them for future if needbe. - They said i cant have them back. - They said they had to drill the tires to remove them to prevent damaging pressure sensor. - I spoke with 4 separate Mazda dealer service managers. They all said they never heard of doing this. - I called and spoke with Harry Faulkner about the situation and he offered me a free wheel alignment ($69 value). Took car in to get minor work done. Was told I could pick my car up on a Sunday, when they called to say it was done, they were suddenly closed Sunday's and I had to find alternate transportation to work Monday. When arriving to get my car, I was greeted by cashier who simply stuck her hand out for my card. When I asked for a bill of charges, I noticed a great difference in quoted price and what I was charged. I called over service advisor. Although very nice, he was clearly a bit frazzled. He got called over by someone who I presume was his manager. After about 15 minutes of waiting they came over and said that "someone must have coded it wrong." He told the cashier that the price needed to be dropped $160. No apology towards me or anything. When I said to the cashier "I am glad I checked the receipt," she simply said "That is why we print them for you." I bought my car here and have used them for all my service needs. Great customer service. I had to get a new car because I got into a car accident so my father and I went on Cars.com to find one. Called the place up and went that day to see the car, 2007 Honda CR-V. Beautiful condition and they helped me with any questions my father and I had. My father did a deposit to secure the car and they held it for A WHOLE WEEK, until we had the money to pay for it completely. We were even told that other people were trying to pay more for the car after our deposit but they kept the car for us. Such great service and a beautiful place.
