The large pitcher which they serve from has big ripe strawberries. What a refreshing treat instead of plain or lemon water. My mom and I had a very nice breakfast, again the customer service was excellent and the woman owner chatted with us, was quite friendly and personable. Again she was just a delight. I can't wait to go back and try some other menu items. Reasonable priced, please tip your waiter, their customer service and care is amazing.

I appreciated the "Seniors 59 and Older" section on the menu--perfect for those of us who don't eat as much as we used to. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich ($8.49), which came with bacon, egg, and cheese on an English muffin. It was a perfect portion and very tasty. Would definitely stop here again.

A few things to fix - the bench seat wobbled whenever anyone moved at the other end, and the hot sauce wooden cap needs to be glued on! - it keep turning and comes off and gets glue in peoples food and looks gross underneath. I hate to do this because I actually like some of their food, but I feel compelled to boycott this chain from now on having learned that their CEO, Puzner or some such, is fighting to keep down the minimum wage, replace his workers with robots, and difficult though it is to believe, may actually be appointed by Trump to a position in which he could do all American workers a great deal of damage. On top of that he's been accused more than once of beating his wife and we don't need him or his kind, his businesses at this point. I'll never go to a Carl's again, although its not actually any deprivation in Amador County as it seems to be trying to become Hamburger Central in California............so boring, not to mention unhealthy. read more

Generally, I have found the employees to be friendly, not the brightest but at least friendly. The exception is the manager with long blonde hair, she is indeed rude, has no respect for customers. I was told to pull around front and my order would be brought out to me. Over 30 minutes later, all the while waiting in 105 degree heat, no food was ever brought out. I inquired inside and the blonde, who claimed to be the manager stated she refunded my order to my card, interesting since I paid cash. So this manager is not only an incompetent thief, she is a liar too. She never even apologized for not making my order. read more

The shift manager Christy was very rude, Poor customer service. I went through the drive -thru, I was told to pull around the front and my order would be brought out. I waited 30 minutes with no food. So I went through the drive thru again and inquired where my order was. Christy saw my "Make America Great Again" hat and said she was refusing to serve me. She refused to serve me and refused to refund my money. She said I needed to wait for the manager, I waited, half an hour later Jay failed to remedy the situation.
