Come for the beignets and stay for the wonderful brunch in this charming cafe. The staff is so friend. The food is incredible. Worth the trip to Jackson for this stop alone

Rosebud's Cafe is a gem of a find for breakfast in the Foothills. Family-run, the establishment is cute, quaint, friendly, and most importantly, the site of amazing food. We started off our meal with an order of the cafe's clssic beignets that were out of this world! We followed that up with a breakfast burrito and quiche -- both were large and fantastic. We had great conversations with both the mother and son who run the establishment, providing an atmosphere that was almost like eating at home. We can't wait to go back!

What a gem this business (and the people inside it) are!! We had breakfast here...a very nice breakfast sandwich and a piece of home made apple pie that was maybe the best I've ever had in my 67 years! Seriously that good. Super community oriented business!!

We had big hopes as we entered this eclectic magical place. The inside was so imaginative and they had a great breakfast friendly band playing. The food was pretty good as well however, it took more than 45 minutes for the food to come out. They have a weird service model, you wait in line to order then they tell you where to sit and act like a full service restaurant. The guy at the front, manger maybe owner, was borderline rude. As my wife and I do not eat much we order beignets and Egg Benedict to split and he rudely said if you are sharing you have to spilt the dish, $4.95 extra, because we will not give an extra plate. I said fine, whatever, when our food finally came, they missed up and gave us 2 complete orders. Soon afterwards the manager/owner hurried by and said they gave you 2, as we did not know - like we were hiding something. We ate our meal, the beignets and half of the Benedict apiece, and left a confused why he would point that out. Did he want us at for there mistake? All in all, with the wait time, the weird service model, and the manager / owner we will not be back,

This place is so cozy and magical inside! We came in for beignets and warm drinks and it was all amazing... some of the best beignets I've had! I'd looove to come back to try more of their yummy looking food! Excellent people working here to...such a great vibe!

A Pleasant Surprise with a Small-Town Feel…read more This one caught me off guard--in a good way. I was out with my family practicing for my daughter's driving test at the DMV up the street. We pulled up Yelp to find a good lunch spot, saw the solid reviews, and decided to give it a try. When we walked in, the atmosphere had that small-town vibe--simple, welcoming, and comfortable. The food was very good. The service wasn't polished like a Michelin star restaurant, but it didn't need to be. It was authentic and heartfelt, and sometimes that matters more. You could tell the staff cared about what they were doing. The place was busy, especially for the time of day we went, which tells you something. People come here on purpose. That says a lot. We were seated quickly, our order was taken without any issues, and the food came out in a reasonable time. When it hit the table, the portions were generous and satisfying. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too busy enjoying the moment. If you go, post your photos--I'm sure the business would appreciate it. If you've followed my reviews, you know I don't give out 4 stars often, and 5 stars are rare. This place earned that extra star because of how it made me feel--between the food, the atmosphere, and the service, it just worked. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely coming back for another meal.

They kept them coming once we asked, and they were delicious every time. But we had to keep asking, and at one point, we almost gave up. That said, the service was pretty underwhelming, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy. We waited close to 20 minutes before getting our first drinks, even water. We had noted a special occasion on our reservation, but there wasn't really anything that made it feel acknowledged or special. We shared the skillet, and unfortunately it was extremely soggy. We literally poured liquid out of it multiple times. On the flip side, the lemon poppyseed waffle was a solid 10/10 and definitely the standout food item for us. I'm giving 3 stars because there's clearly potential here. The drinks were great, the waffle was amazing, and I do think this place could easily be a 5-star experience with more attentive service and a little more consistency in the kitchen. We'll definitely give it another try.

I was excited to try this place as I was in town for a wedding and it had good reviews. It has potential but unfortunately today was a let down. My vegan friend had gone the night before and enjoyed her peanut noodle bowl with tofu! So that's good apparently) So we had high hopes but when we went today before 10am they were out of black beans for the one vegan option for my friend and didn't offer to make it without or anything it was painful to watch and to eat in front of her. Lattes looked good. My boyfriend is not picky but said the house coffee was average and got the All Sutter Creek- bacon eggs and toast and it just looked sad. Bacon was burnt, wheat toast was small and looked like cheap wonderbread. Eggs were fine but nothing better then we have at home he said. I got the Handford Benedict and it looked good but tasted strange. I didn't like the hollandaise sauce, it was tangy. Eggs were cooked well and potatoes were good, but overall with prosciutt ( meh), steamed unseasoned spinach and goat cheese made it too tangy. Hot sauce made it edible. French toast looked yummy with a nice amount of fruit on top and my friend seemed to enjoy it. I don't think I'd come back since the food is so unpredictable. A few things to fix - the bench seat wobbled whenever anyone moved at the other end, and the hot sauce wooden cap needs to be glued on! - it keep turning and comes off and gets glue in peoples food and looks gross underneath. I hope this helps you guys improve.

You order up front before taking a seat and there is a good selection of sandwiches for lunch as well as coffee and freshly-baked goods. We missed the window for breakfast but they also serve made-to-order breakfast dishes. My husband and I just wanted a smaller meal for lunch that day, so we settled on the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo. While the portion sizes are on the smaller side, they were balanced and filling for what we wanted (as well as very reasonably priced), and we ended our meal with an in-house baked oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookie was huge and packed with oats but still delicious, with the proper texture and not overly sweet. Our sandwiches were simple yet delicious, with fresh ingredients and bread. The clam chowder was the soup of the day and so so good, I love when clam chowder has potatoes with the skin still attached. Our food also arrived pretty quickly, I would say within 10 minutes of ordering. Water is self-serve. We did not get a chance to try their coffee or the quiche that they're known for, but we will return to Sina's for sure and definitely recommend this cute little cafe for anyone looking for a quick, cozy meal in Sutter Creek!

And we were definitely not disappointed. The host was a young man who had the most awesome service! Very friendly and very nice. He sat us in a booth which was definitely a major plus. We didn't have to wait long for our waitress to swing by and take our order. She was just as awesome as the Host up front! She was all smiley and friendly and she dug into some of our jokes and laughed. Dad has dietary needs and our waitress was very accommodating and helpful with that. Very thankful! Okay so... food. I ordered The Tuna Salad Sandwich. You get a choice of fries or a salad. since we already had fries at the table I opted for the house salad with Ranch dressing. HOLY GUACAMOLE! the Ranch they serve there is THE BEST! The. Best! the size of the salad was a good size too! (woulda loved a bit more crouton bc those things were good too)! The green beans with the Chipotle aioli might be the second best thing on the menu (1st is to come). The spice was perfect and the breading extra crunchy. The wings were spicy and cooked perfect.
