Where to start? Everything from the cappuccino and food bites are a great choice here. Staff is warm and friendly, and I recommend sitting outside to do a little people watching. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. read more

Fig Barn is such a cute little spot to stop at in the small town of Plymouth. Located right by the roundabout on Hwy 49, there is always plenty of parking in the gravel lot, and a good amount of seating inside and outside. The last time we went we got brunch and sat outside enjoying the summer breeze. They have a pretty good selection of brunch items and at good prices, from avocado toasts to sandwiches and salads. I went with the breakfast bagel sando while my husband went with the panini-grilled breakfast burrito. As far as their drinks are concerned, they have seasonal menus and also serve the usual offerings of cold brew or lattes. I ended up choosing their seasonal blackberry matcha latte with oat milk while my husband went with the lemon cream cold brew. Both drinks were made pretty quickly by the friendly lady staffing the cafe. Was the matcha the best I had? Of course not, as I've had plenty of top tier matcha from south Sac and the bay, but it was smooth and the blackberry flavor was prominent. After waiting for several more minutes, our food was ready, and we eagerly dug in. I loved that our plates were served with freshly seasonal fruit, and that neither my bagel nor my husband's burrito was oily. Both of our selections were solid choices, and we would get them again. I would've liked if I could have chosen my bagel type (perhaps they don't go through enough bagels to warrant giving people choices), but the plain one that came with the dish was still good. Fig Barn Coffee is a convenient place to stop by if you need your coffee fix to or from Sac. We usually just go to Sac for our drink fix, but this one still hits the spot in general, especially with its brunch options. read more

Extremely disappointed at Fig Barn. We were on a little road trip and wanted a quick and easy breakfast spot. We ordered the brownie, which was delicious but not made in house. All of their pastries are locally baked by others. The jalapeño popper sandwich was underwhelming. The bagel was not toasted enough, literally not a single jalapeño inside, and the egg was like a souffléd egg bite. Now, the carnitas breakfast burrito was literally so disgusting and salty, it was actually inedible. I am upset that we took our order togo and didn't eat inside, because I would have sent the burrito back and requested a refund. I ended up eating the pineapple that came as a side with the burrito for breakfast. To top it off, on my way to the bathroom when we were leaving, I witnessed one of the staff members handling a bagel with her bare hands (which is fine), she then took out her phone from her back pocket to check a text or something on it, put her phone back in her pocket, then proceeded to continue cutting the bagel she was working on. Bare hands, cross contamination, and no hand washing? Gross. read more

What an amazing coffee shop in the heart of Plymouth on Main Street. Homemade pastries, family run business, my wife and I discovered this a few months ago, and have always looked forward to a trip into that lovely wine town, to first stop at this cafe. Amazing salads and sandwiches. Fresh fresh!! Quality ingredients, friendly people, best hidden little gem ever. Best cookies and scones, but you have to try the carrot cake!! Our waistlines aren't happy, but we are. read more

We stopped here for a quick lunch on our way to the wineries in Plymouth. We had reservations so we only had about 45 mins for lunch. Most of the others in our group group were smart and called in their order on the way. The food was good and the place was pretty cute. I liked my Chicken pesto panini. My friend and I ordered when we got to the restaurant. There was a nice girl who took our orders and two others in the back kitchen prepping the orders. Everyone got their food, except for my friend who only ordered the soup. We told the waitress that we were missing her soup when the rest of the food was brought out. After a few minutes, another person in our group went to the back to remind them again of the soup. The soup finally came out when everyone else was finishing up their meals. Really, how long does it take to get a bowl of soup after you're done with all the other orders? I think they forgot about her soup multiple times. read more

I've in Plymouth on a marketplace buying excursion! Stopped in here, recommended by Messina, she said it's a great little coffee and breakfast spot! She was right! I got the breakfast burrito, which came with a little side of Sriracha, and some sliced pineapple. Had some really good Carnitas in it, and was heated on the Panini grill which was a nice touch! I also got a bagel to go, and it looks fantastic as well. I ordered a Matcha latte to drink with oat milk, and it's super good! If you're up here wine tasting, she said the avocado toast is amazing too, they also have lunch, and the pastries look unbelievable. They had this lemon poppyseed cookie with a drizzle of glaze that looked to die for. Next time! The girls in here were super cute, and sweet, they were like little ray of sunshine! I also got the cutest set of three little reindeer, I can't wait to use them on my holiday table! I will be back if I'm in the area :-) read more

Honestly don't see any reason to come back. We arrived around noon before the harvest festival and they were out of cold brew and blue cheese for our salads, they said the food would take 30 mins and it took close to an hour, our bagels were supposed to come with fruit and they came with literally three pieces of pineapple each. The salads were extremely under dressed and small. Very disappointed read more

Ever since its opening, Fig Barn has added to the local community in the best ways. Staff is friendly and caring, even remembering our daughter's name (and once allowing her to help them take orders from behind the register-- she's 1). The food is amazing, the coffee is creative. You never wait too long and even if you do, it's really well put together. My husband and I always say the breakfast burrito is the best in town, affordable and well-made without being too big. Just trust me when I say, try this place. You won't regret it. read more

Fig Barn Coffee Cafe - Kid friendly, with a small table just for the littles and drawing pads included. - Cafes Near Me - Plymouth, California

This coffee place has a nice outdoor area out with lots seating. The inside is small and cozy with an eclectic feel, with several old tables that are mismatched. Several paintings of figs a d other items grace the walls. There is a long counter with many dishes of baked goods covered with tall, bell-shaped glass covers. Inside the store and out, you can get souvenirs today. FIG barn on them like tee shirts, swearshirts, sweatshirts, and coffee. Shirts were mostly size small today. The menu prices were relatively low, with a. Up of coffee in the 3 dollar range. I tried a chocolate chip cookie. It was crispy on the outside and good chocolate flavor, with a slightly salty taste. The barristas were pleasant and the atmosphere was laid back. read more

Love this little place! And it's dog friendly! The food is tasty, with breakfast , lunch and bakery (even gluten free) options. Some cute gift items are there too. Inside and out is really sweet. They have done such a great job creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors was really nice but with our dogs we sat outside. The tables outside have little flower boxes and are situated under a beautiful Oak Tree (that will provide great shade during the summer days), or the multiple umbrellas. They have paid attention to all the little details, even the attractive heavyweight napkins. Oh, and the employees are really nice, friendly and helpful. No, I have no tie to this establishment- I just appreciate a great place when I experience one and want to share this one!!! Check them out! read more

The cutest shop ever! We walked in and the decor/vibe blew us away. It immediately gave off a family friendly, family owned feel. We were greeted by a friendly blonde gal who took our order and gave us coffee recommendations. I got an iced caramel macchiato and a hot strawberry mocha special. Amazing coffee. For lunch, we ordered BLT sandwich and chicken salad sandwich. Every time I feel like this place couldn't impress me more, they do it again! They had a bbq special we decided to give a run. Wow. What a quaint little place in downtown Plymouth. We had breakfast there and it was excellent. Service was great.

I'll be honest. We weren't planning to stop here. Someone in our car just really needed to use a restroom. There aren't a lot of pit stops on this road so when I saw a cute cafe just off the highway, I made a rapid turn and we all piled out. What was an unplanned stop turned into a lovely detour that I would plan to make again the next time I'm in the area. Fig Barn Coffee Cafe is delightfully decorated that feels modern, yet rustic at the same time. I'd easily expect to find such a place in trendy parts of LA or SF. The drinks are stellar. Their matcha latte is one of the best that I've tried. It comes unsweetened and the matcha is fine tea grade. Flat white is easily one of the best I've had in a long time. Enjoying our drinks under the shade of giant trees, we noshed on scones and cookies. We loved their cookies so much we went back for seconds...then thirds. I wish we had more time to languish on their patio, but we had a long drive ahead of us so we left wistfully, but glad that we had stopped by. There seems to be a delightful food menu option of light sandwiches and such so it would be a good breakfast or lunch option for those seeking some healthy fare in the area. read more

Fast friendly service. The best Greek yogurt I've ever had. Very good iced mocha, not too sweet. Enjoyable cozy atmosphere.

When you envision those small town family run places that cater to locals and visitors, this is exactly what comes to my mind. It's charming! And the staff, although only a few, were members of the family that own it. So their knowledge and desire to please was personal. Bella suggested a Carmel mocha to go along with the avocado toast. It was perfect! My husband got the avocado BLT and had a beer from a local brewery. We sat outside and truly enjoyed the visit. You don't get this from corporate owned restaurants. So on your next visit to wine taste in Plymouth, stop by and you'll see how darling this place is! read more

Almost no one ordering after us, it's been half an hour since we ordered the very simple breakfast. No explanations to why it's taking so long. I've been waiting for a place like this to come to Plymouth. I travel here often and was actually excited to try Fig Barn. This place is a family business Mom Dad and the adult kids Run this delight. Unique baked goods fill the counter, And they actually have a Jura Expresso Machine too! I have been using this brand for 15 years. The Americano is perfect, with the fact that the coffee beans are from a local roaster. I ordered a wonderful breakfast that was served open face style. Everything bagel toasted with cream cheese, sliced avocado, pickled onion, tomato seasonings and two poached eggs along with a little fresh fruit. ( this style of breakfast was a custom order). Let's talk them into putting it in the menu! The total was $14 which also includes the americano I had. I consider pricing to be exactly where it should be. Great value Oh I almost forgot, they are also open on Monday and Tuesday along with their other regular days. This is very important since every other option Is closed in those two days besides the doughnut place further down the highway. Thanks for opening and can't wait to see you again Steve We must continue to support small businesses like this. It's critical with the times we came from with Covid hurting many of us. read more

The only reason I am giving three stars is because their pastries are delicious. Shout out to who ever their baker is!! I am going to start this off by saying I love good espresso beverages, and worked in a coffee shop for 3 years. That being said if you have the word "coffee" in the name of your business than you should know what you are doing when it comes to coffee. I have gone in 3 different times hoping the latte would get better and it never did. I have ordered a plain latte all three times, and every time it was bad. I am hoping they invest in a real espresso machine and take the time to learn the art off coffee!! read more
