The auxiliary output in my Nissan Altima Coupe broke. The dealership told me it would be $300 to repair because they had to replace the entire unit. I thought this was a waste of money, because what if the aux output broke again? Would I have to shell out another $300? So I decided to explore other options where I could play music with out using a cable. Frank is very knowledgable about car stereos. He made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions regarding getting a new unit for my car, told me how long installation would take, how much it would cost, etc. Installation took about 4 hours. When I went to pick up my car I was given a brief training on how to use the features since the system has navigation, bluetooth audio, plays dvd's, you can send and receive phone calls, and text messages, etc. This was very helpful and I really appreciated the time that was taken to show me how my new stereo works. These guys are extremely unprofessional. They *attempted* to install an iPod integration kit into my Toyota Sienna. The first time I came to pick it up, the installer hadn't even bothered to check that it worked (it didn't), even though I called ahead to make sure everything was working. I had to leave the van that night and come back. Still, it wasn't installed correctly. I brought it back three more times and they never figured it out, never tested it to give me a heads up that it wasn't ready. (Each time it was only operational in "direct" mode--which means there is no way to select music.) At one point, the installation guy suggested that the problem was that I had too many songs on my iPod. During one trip, he was randomly switching dip switches while I waited--but there were only 4 dip switches so there are only 16 combos and they'd had the car for more than 24 hours. During the last attempt, the installer suggested I try a different unit (different brand) which they had in stock. (They didn't have it, but it still seemed like something they could have suggested 3 or 4 tries earlier.) Now I have to go back a sixth time to get my money back--because it would be a "hassle" for them to do it over the phone. I will never use these guys again (for anything), and I would caution other yelpers to do the same. BTW, it turns out this particular unit (USA Spec PA20) is installed in an entirely different location from where the installation guy was working. I told them that I thought a special cable was required (the van has an upgraded factory stereo), but they ignored that advice. He was using something I printed from the internet to "wing it" because he had NO clue--he was about 10 feet from where he needed to be. Brutal experience all around. read more

I would recommend this place to ANYONE! The customer service here is absolutely amazing. When I called here, I was panicking because my radio had just broke and I needed to get a new one installed as I was driving over 16 hours to go to Miami the next day. I wish I remembered the man I spoke to on the phone but I don't!! I remember he did used to live in the islands if that helps a little bit! Anyways, he ensured me that he would fit me in the same day and what do you know? He actually did! Unfortunately, I couldn't make it on time that day, so I called him back and he tried his best to see what he could do as he was aware of the situation I was in because I was leaving the next day. We came up with a solution and the next thing you know, I was there bright and early the next morning! I pushed back my time I was supposed to leave for vacation just because everyone here made me feel SO welcomed and I knew I was in good hands and that the men here were going to properly install my radio and I wouldn't regret it. Before I got there, I had purchased a cheap Walmart radio and he informed me that customers have had problems with this particular brand of radios and let me decide if I wanted to keep the radio I just bought or purchase a new one with them. He even showed me an example of how the radio I wanted installed would look in the dashboard and even on MY exact dashboard...and let me tell you, I am SO happy he showed me the different examples because I ended up buying a radio from them because it fit perfectly in my dashboard and I do not regret a single thing. I was freaking out and crying and they were just absolutely so patient with me then entire time and I cannot thank them enough. Their pricing is also decent too considering the labor and hard work they put into making sure each and every customer walks out of there 100% happy and satisfied. It's now been almost 2 weeks and I love my radio so much. One of the guys even went through step by step and showed me how to work each and every aspect of my radio for about 15-20 minutes and I cannot thank him enough for that either. I will recommend this place to ANYONE because I have nothing to complain about this place, all good things! I had Frank and his team replace the factory head unit on my 10 4Runner with a JVC KW-900R BT. I did not want to go crazy so I just asked that they hook it to the factory JBL amp/speakers. Frank was very fair and knowledgeable I actually approached him several months ago but was not ready to pull the trigger on the install. The quote he gave me originally matched up with the work that was done. Frank even informed me of some extra parts that would be needed and the costs and even offered to give me the part numbers so that I could order them myself off of amazon but his prices were fair and convenient. The systems sounds great and the install was very clean. Frank is a no nonsense business man he will tell you what you need or what you dont and wont try to upsell you. These idiots charged me 50 bucks to wire up a head unit, after there so called audio tech wired it up he told me i have busted head unit... WHICH WAS BRAND NEW.... i went and got a new one then they told me id have to re-wire my entire car. It would cost a pretty penny... i asked him if i could have my money back since all he did was connect 3 wires and tell me it was a junk unit. he told me no, thats labor... took him 10 minutes to connect those three wires and thats including the time spent for him pulling my car in the bay. Come to find out it was simply 2 blown fuses in the fuse pannel that made it not work. I changed the fuses and BINGO my headunit worked like a champ. These guys have no right to work on anyones vehicle. read more

Don't go to this car stereo systems. The owner is arrogant and fraud. I have seen many shops where they perform either good service or service that doesn't meet your expectations. But, this shop is totally fraud, they don't perform any service and will tell you that the service is done and charge you money. I went to this shop to find out the problem about my car audio. The owner said he is going to charge me 45$ for diagnostic services. After 5 mins, he came back and said it's done and started demanding money without giving any details about audio problem. When I asked about what happened, he said he reset the car audio and it hasn't worked. When I asked more details, he threatened me by keeping my car keys. I was frustrated and decided to leave the place by paying 45$, but the owner said he is not going to accept my credit card and asked me to get cash from ATM. I was so frustrated and decided to call cops. Then he gave my car keys back and charged my credit card. I lost 45$ without receiving any service from them. Don't go to these people. They are totally fraud. They deserve negative ratings not even zero. read more

Frank and his employees are experts in car audio. After receiving the ridiculous diagnostic cost from Best Buy (which was per 10 minutes), I decided to try my luck here. I was offered a very reasonable flat cost to test the system. With how quickly Frank found the problem which had stumped others, I completely understand the necessity of a fixed price. The culprit was an amplifier which had been improperly installed, leading to grounding issues. While he told me that I would inevitably need to replace the amp, he custom made a wedge which temporarily fixed the system. On the spot. Free of cost. I was in and out within an hour, but lingered to keep talking with them about replacement options and other general car-related matters. Six months later, the amp has finally died, and there is no question where I am going for the new one. Contrary to most specialty-repair technicians, these guys are after customer satisfaction and repeat business, not taking advantage of customers. Can't wait to hear my sound system after they get their hands on it again. read more

Thank you to this wonderful company that really helped me in a bind. I had an antiquated alarm system in an old car that had to be deactivated for my car to start, but the switch to deactivate it had become worn out. So I couldn't start my car to get to an auto alarm place to have the old alarm system disconnected! I called several area car audio stores including Sonic and Hurley. Sonic was pleasant but declined to help. Hurley was not only unhelpful, but also surly and insulting. Both places could only offer me the option of having my car towed to their facility before they could help me. Car Stereo Systems was immediately sympathetic and agreed, for a $100 charge which I was happy to pay, to drop everything and send a tech to my house within a few hours to disconnect my alarm system for me. The tech was pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable, and got me on the road again with little fuss. Thank you to this great company for being customer service oriented! read more
