I'm posting this menu picture for my family. Now they can pull it up on Yelp when I call to see what they want. LOL

This location is short handed & wait time will vary, but the staff has always been super polite. Please give them grace. The food has always been good.

Have had consistently good service and food from this location. The fish is crisp and not soggy. The tartar is very good.

When we're traveling, we're not buying alcohol, or we brought our own, but something made the city told them:, no alcohol, or that they served to minors. That's a red flag, to me, because we don't know, what others they violated, if any! The staff were friendly. Our waitress allowed us to study the menu before deciding, since I don't really want to eat seafood with my hands, wearing church clothes. It was decided to buy whatever we feel like eating, without using tools to crack open, and have a picnic (hopefully with a table), in our suite. And have a quiet (not noisy like here) dinner to ourselves. (We did have a table for 2. Perfect!) We ordered, we told our waitress we're having our 51st Wed Anniversary this year. Crabcakes, Gumbo, Sweet Potato Fries, Corn on the cob, Fried Catfish Basket and Onion Rings. She remembered all that without writing! She did went back for condiments. With complimentary Chocolate Volcano cake for both of us. Thank you! The Gumbo, was perfect for our breakfast, enough for 4 servings. I had some with meals last night, we shared this morning, and enough for another meal. (We have a cooler). Everything else was delicious, perfectly seasoned, the catfish was packed in with the crabcake (which has shredded lettuce, slices of tomatoes), and it was still crispy! The Sweet Potato, packed by itself, was limpy, and so was the onion rings. We still ate them. We are just driving across the street, and we both agreed: Not crispy at all! I love the corn on the cob, and I love the Cajun seasoning, I thought I was having just buttered corn. This was a bonus, for me! And I usually don't like Cajun-style because in the past, they were always too spicy for me. But, Gumbo was my 1st choice for anything Cajun.

They let me sample the Smoked Catfish Dip, which is served cold. It was delicious, so I had that for my appetizer. It's a huge portion and would be more than enough for 2-3 people to share. It comes with tortilla chips and they recommend trying it with the green Tabasco sauce. That adds a little heat to it. For my beer, I had a Memphis Made Fireside Amber Ale, which paired well with the both the appetizer and my entree. My entree was the Blackened Catfish with White Beans and Hushpuppies. I also tried their Homemade Tartar Sauce and Remoulade. Everything was excellent. I noticed they do quite a bit of carry out, to go orders. It looked like their to go orders outnumbered the actual restaurant patrons inside. They had a few waitresses constantly prepping carry out bags, filling sauces, etc...almost assembly line style, just to keep up. My dinner with tip was $50 plus.

We just wanted to grab an early dinner (around 5pm) and get some "good" burgers. He ordered the Durango Burger and said it was fine, I ordered the Smokehouse burger and it was one of the top 3 worst burgers I've ever had in my life. I asked for the burger well done and when it arrived it was like a hockey puck and severely dry. The fries were soggy and covered in grease as well. The burger was just honestly so bad that if it wasn't $20+ after taxes, I would've not eaten it at all. It took me an extremely long time to even chew it and my husband kept laughing that I had to chase every bite down with water otherwise I would begin choking. This is not an exaggeration in the least. I think eating cardboard would have been easier. It was absolutely tasteless and hard. I honestly don't even understand how it's possible to ruin a patty this much. The waitress was fine but nothing special. She was polite but also was gone most of the time aside from taking our order, bringing our sweet teas and then bringing us the food and taking the payment. No actual checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was fine. The restaurant was also borderline empty when we got there but we still had to stand at the host table for 5 minutes waiting to be seated and to not even be checked on during the meal was a little odd with the scarce amount of customers they had there. The check came out to $50 and some change for our two burgers and fries and I'm honestly so upset about it, still. I wish we had just grabbed Five Guys or something instead. If you're wanting burgers, this is NOT the place for you. There are also only THREE burger options on the menu. The Durango, the smokehouse and a plain cheeseburger. I probably will not be telling my husband that we will return to this place again. Today, I left hungry and severely disappointed.

You order at the counter and seat yourself. They do supply the tools needed, bibs, gloves, and crackers. Each table has a big bowl which we assumed is for your shells. We ordered the Big Island Gold as it was perfect for the both of us. They were out of sausages so we did ask for extra shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection, even the potatoes. I'm guessing since it's an order and seat yourself kind of place, they don't really check up on you too often. For the most part this is good spot.

You have a choice of 3 butters and 3 types of seasoning. You pick one from each category. Liked that the seafood boil is served out of the bag. There was plenty of food in the bag. I did take half of the food home. Some of my family ordered the fried fish and shrimp. Everything had a great flavor. Service was good. You order your selection at the back counter then it is brought to the table. Ambience was standard diner like environment. The tables were sticky and some of the chairs were kind of rocky. The silverware was not as clean as we would have liked it to be. That was the biggest hiccup. The tartar sauce was not refrigerated. That was a concern. I will be back to order the food again but will need to bring my own Clorox wipes. Nit a problem since the food was tasty!!
