So I saw a few pictures on their Instagram page and decided that I wanted to try them soon. Saturday the hubby was out and hungry, so we stopped in. This is a small location on Madison, but they pack a lot of flavor! We had the Super Deal. It comes with 10 Party Wings, Fries, 2 Beverages, plus an additional 10 wings for free! We paid $15! I had the Hot Lemon Pepper and hubby had the Regular Hot. This was my first time having lemon pepper on traditional hot wings and I must say that it is delicious. The regular hot wings are good, but that lemon pepper gave it an extra kick that makes for a perfect combination. The staff was very friendly. I loved the music that they were playing. We dined in and had a great experience. We can't wait to go back!

Idk idk idk. I issue with spending my money and being given something other than what I ordered without consent. This is rude and unprofessional. I ordered "Big Chicken." What I got is NOT what I ordered in more than one capacity. Do better. Service was eh, but the food was fresh. 2/3 pieces anyway. Not somewhere I'll be going again more than likely. Can't recommend in good conscience.

1st time at this establishment. I can say that this is a great place to go and get your wing fix..

I went here for lunch with my nephew and found that they were very friendly. My nephew ordered the Xtra Hot wings, but he didn't think they were that hot. They might've went kinda easy on him. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos. The 2 tacos were good, but kinda small. I also got a basket of loaded fries, which were good too.

I decided to try this spot after following them On Instagram and reading the reviews on here. I called ahead to place our order and asked if the lunch special were actually party wings or whole wings cut in half. I was told that indeed the wings were whole wings and were cut in half for the party wing. I proceeded to place an order. Upon my arrival I received party wings (anorexia wings). I order lemon pepper and honey mustard. The lemon pepper wings which were wet (yuck) I asked for dry; were really SALTY aNd the fries were salty and over cooked as well. I was highly disappointed.

This place is place is not hyped enough!! I follow them on Facebook and finally got a chance to try them out. I ordered through UberEats for pickup and got the two piece honey hot dipped fish with broccoli and cheese, the hot Buffalo wing boil, and the fried lobster tail. Everything was so amazing can't wait to go back!

Great customer service. Food was really good. Easy to find with free parking in the lot next door . Desserts were the best especially the banana pudding.

Wow! The regular seasoned chicken is some of the best chicken I have ever eaten! The skin was crispy, chicken was juicy and the flavor was outstanding, without overpowering the chicken. The honey gold sauce is delicious as well. I got fries, roll, leg and a thigh for under $6.00--talk about value; especially, in an age where everyone is overcharging for food. The service was friendly, helpful and engaging. They also have wings, burgers, po-boys, sandwiches and desserts I cannot wait to go back!

These wings went straight from the refrigerator and got sauced and went to my table.

These may be the worst wings I've ever had! What's wrong with Memphis? I went in liking the place. The servers were extra friendly. They explained that they don't up charge for premium sides like fried green tomatoes. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I've ever seen in my life. That blue lemonade was awesome! The loaded fries and fried green tomatoes were pretty good, even though they could be better. My problem was that after waiting 15 minutes for our wings, they were served straight from the refrigerator! We sent them back, and they came back only warm in about 5 minutes. Then they were overcooked and dry. Here is my theory. They cook large batches of wings while they're slow. They store them in the refrigerator. When they get ordered, they pull some out of the fridge and drop them back in the fryer to warm them up. Then they get sauced to order. In our case, they forgot to warm them up before saucing them. The sauce was just ordinary store bought buffalo and it wasn't hot. Sad excuse for hot wings.

This food is incredible. We used them to provide wings, and sides, for a co-worker's birthday lunch. We had multiple seasonings, and each one seemed better than previous. It was so good, that I went to the restaurant in person to eat lunch the very next day. I was not disappointed. The food was even better than the day before. Additionally, I had the lemmon cake, which was amazing. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the wait time. I probably waited 30 minutes after ordering, before getting my food. If you are in a hurry, or on lunch brake, I suggest calling in your order. I will definitely be back.

Last night was my second visit. The owners daughter (Marianna) I'm familiar with from my work at Catholic High School. She's always on me to stop by. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of what I purchased (sad face). It was the BOGO 10pc, 1/2 honey gold, 1/2 hot, Family fries and 2 drinks. $16.99? By the time I got it home and in the house it was attacked and devoured. Lol. I will say I just finished 4 of the hot wings for breakfast though. I highly recommend this stop if you're anywhere in or near midtown or downtown Memphis. I also believe they participate in the various delivery services such as bitesquad and others.

Riko's Kickin Chicken has recently become my favorite spot to grab delicious wings in Memphis. They have amazingly priced wing specials and the wings are delicious and cooked to order. The wings are crispy and well sauced with a variety of flavors and flavor combinations to choose from. My mom ordered the fish when we went together and it was delicious. You can also get the fish prepared in the same sauce choices as the wings. My mom and I also shared a red velvet butter cake and it was decadent and delicious. We also ared a broccoli and cheese side, and while it was too salty for me, the flavor was nice. Finally, the owners of this restaurant were in the restaurant when we visited and they absolutely lovely people. I look forward to going back to Rikos soon!

The food was amazing and seasoned well. Fried Fish with Cajun seasoning and the Kickin Fries without bacon

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!

Later during the meal, he admits that Momma's is one of his spots, so that's saying a lot. It sort of looked like another bar/restaurant from the outside, but they have a nice outdoor patio overlooking an old decrepit building which is at least some scenery. Once inside, you'll quickly see it's highly decorated and has a claim to be one of the only trucker themed bars in the US. Inside is decked out to the ceilings with signs, neon, old mirrors, collectibles, and many other items. I swear it looks like it's been in business for 30+ years, but my client said only a couple of years. I looked over the basic menu and saw burgers, breakfast, salads, sandwiches, a famous pork chop, wings and a few other items. The client and my colleague quickly ordered devilled eggs, cheese curds, and chili cheese fries. The first two apps were really good, I didn't try the fries though. They had a burger of the day, and a food special of the day, but I settled on the wings. With those I chose the 10 pc, Buffalo with dry rub, smoked. Kind of a weird combination since most people usually order dry here apparently, but I like saucy wings. When they come out, they are huge and I knew I wouldn't be able to finish them. I think I could only eat 6-7. My colleague had a ribeye steak salad which was a protein bomb he loved, and my 2 clients ordered a big rig grilled cheese which he also loved and a fried chicken sandwich (firebird) which looked really good. Overall, I really liked this place and it's one of the best meals I've had in Memphis the handful of times I've visited.

You will be ready for a sweet little nap after :) The inside is cute, not overly large, but comfortable enough with a pretty good playlist and sometimes they have a DJ. The drinks are good too! Pro tip: order the spicy margarita (I forget the actual name) and enjoy it WITH the lime! I nibbled little bits of lime and sipped the drink. That was a whole experience for me and I think that others should be so fortunate to have such a tasty treat! The food is dang near trash, the service is trasher!! I've yet to understand how people apply for a job they clearly want and then are horrible at that role!! I NEED servers to understand and hear me CLEARLY, you DO NOT get paid if there are no customers. So next time, you're having a bad day, please go in the restroom and get yourself together and then come back and serve the people with a pleasant attitude AND smile on your face. As far as I'm concerned be an actress for the day if that helps. Came to Sage for a friend's birthday brunch. Sitting was fine as she had reservations. Mind you, we were close to end of closing time (they accepted the reservation) but that's NO EXCUSE for running out of food items. Who's doing inventory? Just asking, or how about send someone to Kroger to get the missing items. People need to learn to be creative and think outside the box vs "we out of erthing". As I was saying, immediately hit us with, "last call for food is at 2:30p and we're out dang near everything". WTF...fine let me order the stuff no one wants. I ordered the shrimp and grits and asked if the tails could be removed. You would have thought I asked for someone to sign the Bill of Rights. A simple, "I'll put that request in with the kitchen" would have sufficed instead of telling me "what they don't normally do". I don't normally tip when I get bad service but yet when you're in large party you have to, so go figure. The Shrimp and grits were BASIC; where's the Gouda cheese (I was told it's a "sauce", NO!! I want to TASTE my cheese). I stuck with water in fear of "we don't have XYZ". Luckily the table company was great because the service nor the food was NOT. Oh I'll add this bit, a guest at the table was told "they were out of French Toast" (mind you it's bread, can the chef cook, asking for a friend). At least two orders of French Toast came out after this notice. . Then they served us plastic ware!!! Have you know anyone to eat S&Gs with plastic ware, not to self, start traveling with my own utensils. I'm all about cleanliness but come on, some dishes deserve proper cutlery. Then two guest arrived later and ordered French Toast. Wait, we thought you were out? Waitress: "Oh the cook made a mistake and you already had paced your order." Excuse, Miss Ma'am, where do they do that? Free Lesson here: come back to the table and notify the guest there was an error and ASK if they'd like to change their order. I promise you that will take your server experience far!! So I say, if you couldn't care less about exceptional service or food, this is your place!!! Just not for me; excuse me for expecting more out of some restaurants (fill in the blank).

Unfortunately, we were met with one of the rudest bartenders I've ever encountered. As soon as we sat down at the bar, the bartender--a Caucasian woman with a short haircut whose name I unfortunately didn't get--greeted us with an attitude that immediately made us feel unwelcome. Instead of providing friendly service, she was dismissive, impatient, and rushed us through placing our to-go order. She informed us that we could not eat at the bar, which was completely fine. We agreed without any issue and ordered our food to go. However, when my food arrived, I simply opened the container to make sure my order was correct before leaving. She immediately rushed back over and aggressively said, "Didn't I tell you that you could not eat at the bar?" I hadn't taken a single bite--I was only checking my order. Rather than politely clarifying the policy, she continued to scold us and make us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. We still hadn't even received my friend's food, yet she seemed more interested in lecturing us than providing basic customer service. Once my friend's food finally arrived, we left as quickly as possible. As visitors in town celebrating Pride, we expected a welcoming atmosphere and basic courtesy. Instead, we experienced hostility, impatience, and a complete lack of professionalism. There's a huge difference between enforcing a policy and treating customers with disrespect, and this bartender clearly doesn't understand that distinction. The food may have been fine, but the service was so unpleasant that I would never return or recommend Bar Dogs to anyone looking for a friendly place to eat or have a drink. Customer service training is desperately needed.
