So I saw a few pictures on their Instagram page and decided that I wanted to try them soon. Saturday the hubby was out and hungry, so we stopped in. This is a small location on Madison, but they pack a lot of flavor! We had the Super Deal. It comes with 10 Party Wings, Fries, 2 Beverages, plus an additional 10 wings for free! We paid $15! I had the Hot Lemon Pepper and hubby had the Regular Hot. This was my first time having lemon pepper on traditional hot wings and I must say that it is delicious. The regular hot wings are good, but that lemon pepper gave it an extra kick that makes for a perfect combination. The staff was very friendly. I loved the music that they were playing. We dined in and had a great experience. We can't wait to go back!

Idk idk idk. I issue with spending my money and being given something other than what I ordered without consent. This is rude and unprofessional. I ordered "Big Chicken." What I got is NOT what I ordered in more than one capacity. Do better. Service was eh, but the food was fresh. 2/3 pieces anyway. Not somewhere I'll be going again more than likely. Can't recommend in good conscience.

1st time at this establishment. I can say that this is a great place to go and get your wing fix..

I went here for lunch with my nephew and found that they were very friendly. My nephew ordered the Xtra Hot wings, but he didn't think they were that hot. They might've went kinda easy on him. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos. The 2 tacos were good, but kinda small. I also got a basket of loaded fries, which were good too.

I decided to try this spot after following them On Instagram and reading the reviews on here. I called ahead to place our order and asked if the lunch special were actually party wings or whole wings cut in half. I was told that indeed the wings were whole wings and were cut in half for the party wing. I proceeded to place an order. Upon my arrival I received party wings (anorexia wings). I order lemon pepper and honey mustard. The lemon pepper wings which were wet (yuck) I asked for dry; were really SALTY aNd the fries were salty and over cooked as well. I was highly disappointed.

This place is place is not hyped enough!! I follow them on Facebook and finally got a chance to try them out. I ordered through UberEats for pickup and got the two piece honey hot dipped fish with broccoli and cheese, the hot Buffalo wing boil, and the fried lobster tail. Everything was so amazing can't wait to go back!

Great customer service. Food was really good. Easy to find with free parking in the lot next door . Desserts were the best especially the banana pudding.

Wow! The regular seasoned chicken is some of the best chicken I have ever eaten! The skin was crispy, chicken was juicy and the flavor was outstanding, without overpowering the chicken. The honey gold sauce is delicious as well. I got fries, roll, leg and a thigh for under $6.00--talk about value; especially, in an age where everyone is overcharging for food. The service was friendly, helpful and engaging. They also have wings, burgers, po-boys, sandwiches and desserts I cannot wait to go back!

These wings went straight from the refrigerator and got sauced and went to my table.

These may be the worst wings I've ever had! What's wrong with Memphis? I went in liking the place. The servers were extra friendly. They explained that they don't up charge for premium sides like fried green tomatoes. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I've ever seen in my life. That blue lemonade was awesome! The loaded fries and fried green tomatoes were pretty good, even though they could be better. My problem was that after waiting 15 minutes for our wings, they were served straight from the refrigerator! We sent them back, and they came back only warm in about 5 minutes. Then they were overcooked and dry. Here is my theory. They cook large batches of wings while they're slow. They store them in the refrigerator. When they get ordered, they pull some out of the fridge and drop them back in the fryer to warm them up. Then they get sauced to order. In our case, they forgot to warm them up before saucing them. The sauce was just ordinary store bought buffalo and it wasn't hot. Sad excuse for hot wings.

This food is incredible. We used them to provide wings, and sides, for a co-worker's birthday lunch. We had multiple seasonings, and each one seemed better than previous. It was so good, that I went to the restaurant in person to eat lunch the very next day. I was not disappointed. The food was even better than the day before. Additionally, I had the lemmon cake, which was amazing. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the wait time. I probably waited 30 minutes after ordering, before getting my food. If you are in a hurry, or on lunch brake, I suggest calling in your order. I will definitely be back.

Last night was my second visit. The owners daughter (Marianna) I'm familiar with from my work at Catholic High School. She's always on me to stop by. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of what I purchased (sad face). It was the BOGO 10pc, 1/2 honey gold, 1/2 hot, Family fries and 2 drinks. $16.99? By the time I got it home and in the house it was attacked and devoured. Lol. I will say I just finished 4 of the hot wings for breakfast though. I highly recommend this stop if you're anywhere in or near midtown or downtown Memphis. I also believe they participate in the various delivery services such as bitesquad and others.

Riko's Kickin Chicken has recently become my favorite spot to grab delicious wings in Memphis. They have amazingly priced wing specials and the wings are delicious and cooked to order. The wings are crispy and well sauced with a variety of flavors and flavor combinations to choose from. My mom ordered the fish when we went together and it was delicious. You can also get the fish prepared in the same sauce choices as the wings. My mom and I also shared a red velvet butter cake and it was decadent and delicious. We also ared a broccoli and cheese side, and while it was too salty for me, the flavor was nice. Finally, the owners of this restaurant were in the restaurant when we visited and they absolutely lovely people. I look forward to going back to Rikos soon!

The food was amazing and seasoned well. Fried Fish with Cajun seasoning and the Kickin Fries without bacon

I haven't had the best of luck with Chinese food in Memphis so I did everything I could to suppress this unwanted craving, however, I just couldn't help myself. Little Petals pops up on Yelp as a possibility. I read the reviews and scrolled through the pictures. After looking at the location, I realized it was only an 8-minute drive from where we were. Why not, right? The restaurant is easy to miss. It sits right on the corner in an old shanty building nestled in the middle of downtown Memphis. The furniture and décor were of a standard Chinese eatery, nothing special; but the employees were warm and welcoming, greeting me with hellos and smiles. I got the black pepper chicken that came with a spring roll. I ordered an extra side of pork egg rolls because that's usually my go to. Everything was fantastic! It gives you the taste of that old school Chinese food you used to have as a kid, but better quality. The chicken was moist, flavorful and peppery. The egg rolls had the perfect amount of crispy crunch---they seemed handmade as well! Pricing is a little higher from when I was a kid, but you still won't break the bank here! As I started to think that great Chinese food was not an option for Memphis, Little Petals showed up at the right time and made me a believer!

So, Little Petals, i.e., Petals of a Peony, Jr.: no one was inside. I assume this to be per usual for 2:30pm on a Tuesday. It follows then, that the service was, um, efficient and bespoke. Ordered the pork eggrolls (very good, the sauce that came with it - oddly the perfect amount was given in a little rectangular container - made these delectable) and the General Peony's Chicken. And this was damned good. Pricey for lunch, but I could have made 2 or 3 meals off of it. A satisfying amount of heat from the szcheuan (sp?) peppers; not overly breaded so as to make it a fried dough dish, but rather to carry the sauce on the chicken; the chicken was a quality cut, nicely sized per bite. A new go-to for lunch downtown.

There is plenty of parking in a lot across the street. We went inside and found it to be pretty busy, but we got a table for 4 quickly. The place was clean and homey-feeling and I loved the fact that they used disposable plates, utensils and napkins! It is probably way easier on the crew to clean up, and it adds to the relaxed atmosphere. I had the corn nuggets to start, yum! We finished them easily, they were so good. Then the entree of my chicken tenders, beans, and Mac and cheese came out, along with my sweet tea. The sweet tea was perfect, I drank a whole one during my meal and they gave me another to go in the souvenir Gus's cup. The food was just great, chicken was juicy and perfectly crunchy on the outside. Beans and Mac and cheese, delicious! I ate all of it even though I was stuffed. I even went so far as to order a piece of pecan pie for dessert, but unfortunately our server came back out to tell us they were out of it! Guess it wasn't meant to be (this time)! The food is dang near trash, the service is trasher!! I've yet to understand how people apply for a job they clearly want and then are horrible at that role!! I NEED servers to understand and hear me CLEARLY, you DO NOT get paid if there are no customers. So next time, you're having a bad day, please go in the restroom and get yourself together and then come back and serve the people with a pleasant attitude AND smile on your face. As far as I'm concerned be an actress for the day if that helps. Came to Sage for a friend's birthday brunch. Sitting was fine as she had reservations. Mind you, we were close to end of closing time (they accepted the reservation) but that's NO EXCUSE for running out of food items. Who's doing inventory? Just asking, or how about send someone to Kroger to get the missing items. People need to learn to be creative and think outside the box vs "we out of erthing". As I was saying, immediately hit us with, "last call for food is at 2:30p and we're out dang near everything". WTF...fine let me order the stuff no one wants. I ordered the shrimp and grits and asked if the tails could be removed. You would have thought I asked for someone to sign the Bill of Rights. A simple, "I'll put that request in with the kitchen" would have sufficed instead of telling me "what they don't normally do". I don't normally tip when I get bad service but yet when you're in large party you have to, so go figure. The Shrimp and grits were BASIC; where's the Gouda cheese (I was told it's a "sauce", NO!! I want to TASTE my cheese). I stuck with water in fear of "we don't have XYZ". Luckily the table company was great because the service nor the food was NOT. Oh I'll add this bit, a guest at the table was told "they were out of French Toast" (mind you it's bread, can the chef cook, asking for a friend). At least two orders of French Toast came out after this notice. . Then they served us plastic ware!!! Have you know anyone to eat S&Gs with plastic ware, not to self, start traveling with my own utensils. I'm all about cleanliness but come on, some dishes deserve proper cutlery. Then two guest arrived later and ordered French Toast. Wait, we thought you were out? Waitress: "Oh the cook made a mistake and you already had paced your order." Excuse, Miss Ma'am, where do they do that? Free Lesson here: come back to the table and notify the guest there was an error and ASK if they'd like to change their order. I promise you that will take your server experience far!! So I say, if you couldn't care less about exceptional service or food, this is your place!!! Just not for me; excuse me for expecting more out of some restaurants (fill in the blank).

This entire restaurant is built on a slight slope, and they did not level the foundation when building out the restaurant, so if you're sitting at your table and the table is aligned north to south, you will see a slight lean to the flooring. Also, if you have any juices on your plate of food, the juices will flow toward Beale Street. I wanted to try their tamales but will have to do it on a subsequent visit. This visit we ordered the bowl of gumbo and the Memphis strip steak which is pre-cut for you. The gumbo is slightly salty but good. The strip steak was really good, filling and cooked to order. I chose new potatoes as my one side. Service here can be a little difficult depending how busy they are and how wild your fellow patrons in the restaurant can be. It took a long time to pay the bill here due to a large party coming in right when we were wanting to pay and our server was attending to them for about 15 mins while we were trying to flag him down. Other than that, we had no other problems. I would happily return the next time I'm in the downtown area and looking for food near Beale Street.
