Ordered food here today and my husband says his platter of random stuff was okay but that the boneless hot wings were very dry. The honey hot were better than the regular hot which was bone dry and lacking flavor. However, my sliders were inedible. I bit into a single one and couldn't take any more bites. It tastes like a dirty grill and grease. That is it. Grill residue and grease. I went to try to see if maybe the second slider would be fine and even just upon smelling it, I couldn't take a bite. This restaurant has had a lot of buzz for quite some time from locals to celebrities and for that reason I was in no hurry to try it. Today was the day that I got up and went out to try the Famous Grilled Salmon Club Sandwich. I got there around 6:30 and it was only 1 customer waiting , I didn't expect it to be that slow. The lady that took my order was very nice and professional. The restaurant was very clean and organized and even though they sell some fried options it didn't smell of old grease and smoke. I really appreciated that. Now, the bread was toasted a beautiful golden brown with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, Swiss and cheddar cheese and a nicely cooked piece of grilled salmon drizzled with remoulade sauce. My friend and I finally got a chance to try Smackers. When we got there, we ordered directly from the store tablet. We then sat down in some high chairs while we waited for our order. I just noticed how clean the restaurant is. The workers did a really good job with how clean the restaurant is. When the lady let us know that our food was ready, I couldn't wait to open the bag. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Club with Spicy Fries, and my friend ordered the Grilled Chicken Pasta. The Grilled Salmon Club was absolutely amazing. I was a little concerned when I walked into this place that was practically empty at 12:15 on a Tuesday. They had a display case that was empty too - I thought what's that for? But after looking at their menu I was excited again. The lady taking our order was very nice, she stopped what she was doing just to let us know she would take our order at the register. I ended up getting the sampler of cheeseburger sliders, wings, and jalapeño poppers. And it was out as quick as any fast food joint. But much better quality. I immediately knew when she brought it out that this was quality food to go along with the quality service I already received. I got my wings with just "seasoned" seasoning and it was perfect. I compare it to Buffalo Wild Wings dry buffalo - a little spice but without the buffalo taste. Poppers were fantastic and burgers were good too. The salmon sandwich is a unique food I have never tried before. It was crispy and flavorful without being too fishy. Highly recommend. My husband and I love it and probably could eat there everyday. We found this place by accident while waiting to go into a meeting, and I have to say that I was blown away! From the minute you walk in, the staff at the front desk is warm, welcoming, and friendly. They took the time to explain the various different dishes (there's a few!) and we're patient with me while I decided. I landed on the cheesesteakn sandwich and my my my! Terrible! Please do not go! Food Is good but when it comes to customer service it's absolutely awful. The ladies they have in the front taking orders always have this "I don't won't to be here and I'm ready to go home" look on their face, when you walk in the restaurant nobody greets you, and when they do take your order the way they talk to you and body language is always giving lazy. The day I came in the restaurant to order my job the ladies seen me walk in and go to the cashier and had me waiting there for 10min before they came and ask if I was placing or picking up an order but mind you again they already saw me and all in and go to the registers 10min before. They also scammed me out of my money, before I came to the restaurant I made sure that I had enough money on my card to pay for my order before I went up there, went up there or my food and when it was time for me to tap my card the laddies who took my order said the system only took a certain amount and I owe like a couple of dollars but when I check my bank transactions it showed that the full total amount of my food come out but they claimed the system only took a certain amount which was a lie. instead of working with me and being understanding they argued back and forth with me in front of customers which was very frustrating and embarrassing, they claim they refunded the full amount to my card but when they gave me the receipt it was a regular approve transaction receipt as if I had paid fully for the food, the receipt didn't say anything about a refund and the numbers on the receipt was not accurate. Ask to speak with a manager and the manager acted like he was too busy to come out and solve the situation he kept the telling the laddies in the front who had already scammed to keep trying and figure it out. And then the worst part is they claimed I didn't have enough money on my card for my food but still made the order and didn't apologize for the confusion and didnt give me my order after all of this. When I say the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I truly mean it! The stage road location need to be closed for good and whoever is managing that location needs to be arrested for all the scandals this location gets away with. read more

I was a little disappointed in my experience here. I was with two other friends who were ordering as well. When we attempted to order, they were out of Salmon for the salmon club and pasta so we had to find other things to order. Once we ordered and made it to the window for payment, we had a pretty long wait before receiving our food. I will say that my Philly cheesesteak sandwich was good and very flavorful and so were the waffle fries. How is this place popular? We went based on the good reviews and the experience was anything but good. Well, I guess we had a few good laughs. And the people who work there were very nice. We ordered a club sandwich and a cheeseburger combo with a salad. There was only one other person in the place when we arrived but we were told it would take 20 minutes to get our food and it took exactly 20 minutes. How on Earth does it take 20 minutes to make a burger and club?! Here's where the fun begins. When the food came out, the salad was missing. I'll come back to this. The club was good but the burger was a joke. It had no flavor and the odd smell of the bun was greater than the taste of the whole burger. Luckily, they were kind enough to put an inedible onion skin in my burger. Yay. We told the ladies there that we were missing the salad. After they talked about it for 5 minutes, they brought a plastic take-out container that had just enough salad to cover the bottom of it. The salad was comprised of mushy iceberg lettuce, one piece of red onion, and shredded cheese. I was never asked what kind dressing I wanted, and they gave me a packet of ranch. The best part is the receipt. At the bottom, you will notice that they added a 2.9% charge for using a card. We were never made aware of this before or while ordering or paying. Oh , I almost forgot about the very loud music that kept going out every few seconds and the trash can whose opening was too small to accept the plastic take-out container.
