Once you enter you notice how clean and comfortable the inside of the dining area. Now let's talk about the amazing favorable wings. Lately I have noticed most wing establishments have extremely small wings ( well this is not true at Big Myrt's). The wings are a nice size and they are always served fresh/ hot. I ordered the 100 party wings for an event being held for my niece. I ordered 25 honey hot, 25 lemon pepper, 25 bbq and 25 seasoned. The freshness, favor and texture of each one was amazing. One last thing about the Best Wing establishment in Memphis. Big Myrt's has the best prices of all the wings places I checked with for a 100 party wing platter. Trust me if try out this establishment it will become your favorite wing spot like it is now for me...

The wings that I've gotten have never been overcooked or cooked multiple times. This visit I ordered the Hwy 64 wings and fish with okra and fries. I liked everything except the okra, but it wasn't bad enough for me to never do back. The okra was just bland, and while I ordered no season I will ask for seasoning next time. Many times places coat the okra in seasoning salt and it is just a salty mess. Now the mask issue...the employees were not wearing mask, but their is a sign in the door for patrons to wear a mask and wait in the car until your order is ready. I did as the sign states and my food was brought to my car. I'd visit again, but not really sure if they are really enforcing the mask policy.

The wings were just alright in my opinion. It took about 20 mins for our food to get ready but the wings didn't seem like they were cooked fresh. They had good flavor but i just felt they could've been fresher for the amount of time we waited. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla - it truly stole the show! It was piping hot like i like my food. The flavors were very good! I'd def go back to get another quesadilla. Lastly, we got the honeybun cake! They make it in house! I would def order an entire pan of that cake! It was so good! When we got ready to leave they said thank you for coming! The staff was very friendly! I was so happy to support this Black owned restaurant. Would definitely go back again

I stopped here in March driving from the Carolinas back to Oklahoma. I wanted a Memphis Bbq…read moreExperience that was close to the highway and had good reviews. At the time I didn't know it was a chain , but I found out later. Sometimes that's not a bad thing though. I found the restaurant was decorated nicely and clean. My waitress was very nice and informative since I told her it was my first time here. I got a Half Rack of Ribs with Wet Sauce on one side and Dry Rub on the other side. Bbq Baked Beans , Cheese Grits , Rolls , and Sweet Tea. The Ribs were tender and good. They have 2 Bbq Sauces on the table and I asked the waitress if they have any others and she said yes , a Honey and a Smoky Spicy one. I asked for the Smoky Spicy to try. I liked the Dry Rub side better and with the Smoky Spicy Bbq Sauce on the Dry Rub was the Winner. The Wet Side was Original Bbq Sauce and it was kind of plain to me. They also had this on the table with a Hot Bbq Sauce that was more or less like Texas Pete / Louisiana Hot Sauce. The Bbq Baked Beans were really good. The waitress said they are the best in town and I would probably agree even though I haven't been to any other bbq place in the Memphis area. The Cheese Grits were okay. They used like a White Cheese I think. I love Grits , but they could've did a little better on these. The Rolls were like yeast rolls like Texas Roadhouse , but better , melt in your mouth and you don't even need to put any butter on them. Sweet Tea was just right , not too sweet or not enough sugar. They had a display of their desserts , which looked good , but I was too full to have any. There is also a Bar if you want to have a drink and some appetizers. A wall with lots of pictures of Celebrities who have dined at Corky's is on display. Elvis and Little Richard are sitting at a table above the dining area watching to see how you like the Bbq. They sell shirts and sauces if you want to take some home. The menu is pretty large , so lots of choices for you to try. There is also an upstairs area for dining. If I lived here or was visiting for a while I would come back and try more. I usually prefer a more Mom and Pop place , but this was very good , much better than the Bbq I've had in Oklahoma.
