We've been here twice and it's been absolutely incredible. The food is by far the best quality you can find. So authentic. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the ambiance, surrounded by oil paintings, candle lit dinner with white linens.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I cannot wait for this place to open their real spot. Highly recommend

We happened to pop in this evening to this wonderful place.! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere, music, vibe, decedent glasses, amazing food and the bartender Rick.! AH -Mazing.![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Try the JD Wisers if you like bourbon, and I swear this is the BEST mojito I have ever had.! Definitely recommend.!!

Overly salted, spice is unnecessary

Save your money. We are an Italian family, and the food was not authentic. It was heavily salted and masked with spice to substitute flavor. Small portions and terrible quality. There are tons of complimentary foods sent from the chef that did not taste good. I would recommend hiring an Italian chef if you're going to serve Italian food. Focus on perfecting your entrée before trying to razzle dazzle and invoke reciprocity in gratuity Remove the "optional" 20% gratuity that is AUTOMATICALLY factored in. Stop charging outrageous amounts for flat water. ($20+). $30 glass of basic white wine (eye roll) Trying far too hard. It tasted like pub food at best. Should have gone to Goose and Gander tbh or Botega. 4 entrees 4 cocktails 1 glass of wine 2 deserts Does not warrant a $500 bill

Was in Napa for some fun (me) and work (bf and friends) and was invited to try this new pop up restaurant. We came to the first Wed opening and everything was phenomenal. They are in the works of opening an actual restaurant and I hope it opens sooner rather than later. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable from the wine to the food to the desserts. Soft opera and jazz music play in the background and goes perfectly with the amazing decor and ambience. Now onto the food. We got a bit of everything and shared everything. The menu all sounds amazing and delicious. We wanted it all. We settled on the following: Apps : Crab Torta Octopus Piccante Entrees: Branzino Chilean Sea Bass Lamb Rack Vitello Plume de Veau Pollo Pomdoro Dessert: Apple Torte BlackBerry Crumble Everything was over the top delicious and presentation was amazing. I wish I had a second tummy to eat more!! We had a few bottles of wine which made the experience so much more enjoyable. If you ever visit Napa you must stop in and enjoy and create your own experience.

Veal was so scrumptious

This Italian restaurant is quite a lil find. You wull missing if you blink but [[HIGHLIGHT]]once you walk into the warm inviting restaurant transforms you to a lil bistro in Europe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is so attentive and professional. The service and food is excellent...they had chocolate ( order ahead it takes 40 min ) souffle practically licked the bowl!! My hunny had the lamb and it was tender and flavorful. If in Napa or any where in wine country, you really should try this great lil romantic restaurant.

Erosion has truly created something special and inclusive for our community. One of my favorite things is the flexibility: you can grab a flight of wine, beer, OR ice cream (yes, ice cream flights!) to share or enjoy on your own. There's literally something for every mood, every palate, and every friend you bring with you. Their events are always a blast, line dancing nights, trivia, seasonal pop-ups... it brings so much life to St. Helena. I love that they host these on a monthly basis because it gives locals something fun to look forward to. The space is always clean, inviting, and has such a good vibe. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and genuinely makes you feel at home. Erosion is small, family-owned, and family-run, and you can feel that level of care and pride in everything they do. And let's talk about the food, I'm obsessed with the wraps and the paninis, and the queso frijole is a must. Simple, delicious, and perfect with a beer or a glass of wine. Erosion has truly become a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike. It's relaxed, fun, unique, and exactly what St. Helena needed. If you haven't stopped by yet, do it, you'll understand why this place has such a loyal following.

Dimmer lighting. Mostly booth seating. Organized and professional service. I haven't had any issues booking dinner here. The restaurant is a pretty good size, and there's ample parking. - cheeseburger: I've always been a big fan of the cheeseburger. This time it tasted a bit different though. The sauce in it was tangier than I'm used to. It was still good though. Served with fries, and the fries are nice & crispy. - knife and fork barbecue ribs: these are my favorite ribs, and I love that they're truly "knife and fork" ribs. No need to get your hands all messy eating these things. I'm always torn between ordering this and the cheeseburger. I love them so. The coleslaw and fries that are served with the ribs are a nice complement. - ruby red trout in a lemon butter sauce with crispy rock shrimp: these rock shrimp steal the show here. They're amazing. They have this delightful seasoned salt and are perfectly crispy. The trout itself is fine, but not great. It has a salmon-y flavor to it. - potatoes colcannon: these are delicious. Basically cheesy mashed potatoes with some veggies mixed in. So good. And you can actually substitute your side(s) on the other dishes with this.

I'd definitely come back for drinks and appetizers on a future visit.

Review #400! We have…read morevisited V Sattui several times over the years, and it was on our itinerary for our current Napa trip, primarily because we wanted to get lunch at their food market. V Sattui is rather unique among the region's wineries, for several reasons: they have a food market, they allow purchased bottles to be consumed on site, they allow picnicking, and they serve as a wedding venue. This is not easy to achieve in Napa's ridiculously restrictive permitting landscape. So first, let's talk about the food market, which is one of the main attractions of this place. The cheese shop alone is worth going out of your way for. Almost every type of cheese you can hope to find. Sorry to my idealistic vegan aspirations, but I don't think I'll be giving up cheese anytime soon. They have a deli with sandwiches, pastas and various side dishes, olives, fruits, etc. Come on an empty stomach and be ready to eat well. When we first arrived at the winery, we were welcomed in by the very nice host, who explained the tasting menu options, if we were interested in a tasting. About 13 wines to choose from, and you get to pick any 5, $45 per tasting. Love the flexibility. Lots of white and rose options, as opposed to many wineries which just pile on the reds. I like a good red, don't get me wrong, usually with a big dinner, but on a hot summer day, I want lighter, refreshing wines. So we were sold, and signed up for an indoor tasting before lunch. During the couple of years we've been away from Napa, the winery has completely rebuilt their tasting room and store, for both structural and cosmetic reasons. It looks fantastic now, featuring a very attractive, modern circular tasting bar. Would have taken pics, but I try to avoid posting pictures of strangers on the internet, and the tasting room was filled with people. We grabbed a seat at the bar, and were greeted by our tasting guide, Lucas. Lucas was amazing. Personable, hospitable, and engaging. He made us feel welcome, got to know us, and ensured we had a great time throughout, even though he was serving multiple other customers at the same time. I could never do his job. I selected all white and rose wines, and RB went with mostly red. My favorites were the off-dry Riesling, and the Sauvignon Blanc. RB's Preston Vineyards cab was also very good, but again, I would need a hearty meal to consume this with. Lucas also treated us to a couple of complimentary pours, and the Madeira was an especially nice treat. We finished up our tasting, bid au revoir to Lucas, and made our way to the deli for lunch. We were hungry and decided to keep it simple with the essentials - cheese (of course), sweet baguette, and grapes. So many enticing cheeses to choose from, but you can't go wrong with French Brie and medium cheddar, so that's what we opted for. As for the beverage selection, RB's and my wine palates do not always align, but we can usually agree on bubbles, so that's what we did. Armed with a bottle of Brut cuvée and the aforementioned goodies, we made our way out to the picnic area. It's lovely out there. Many picnic tables, in the shade or in the sun, or you can picnic on the grass. We found a shaded table in the breeze overlooking Route 29, and settled in for our leisurely lunch. Terrific experience start to finish, even better than I remember from the past. Make sure you make V Sattui part of your Napa itinerary.

The caves were really interesting. The chandeliers in them make some pretty photo ops. It's nice and cool in there to get you out of the Napa heat in the middle of the day You end the tour with some more tasting in the lobby area. Best of all the tour comes with some very welcome pizza and tater tots! We did our second stop at v. Sattui afterwards and to be honest it was a nice contrast of ambience between the two wineries.

The caves are unlike any I have been in before where they are usually rustic. These are beautifully decorated and all kinds of art. I would have liked to see more of the caves but they just have the dercorated section open for these tours. The barrel tasting was great and surprisinly all their wines are pretty drinkable right out of the barrell I suppose because they dont have much tannins so they dont need alot of tiem to mellow. I liked most of them but at $250 a botttle I felt they were way overpriced compared to other high end Napa area wines we are familiar with. After the cave tour they sit inside and you get to try several more wines so we had plenty to drink. I was not expecting a full size pizza for the two of us we already had lunch plan right after so we took most of it with us. Only bought two bottles of their less expensive wines at $95 each which is still a little high!! Probably wont be back since the value just isnt there for purchasing their wines but I do reccomend the tour.

I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough!
