This evening I tried the linguine and shrimp, I was not pleased by it at all. It tasted very buttery. I probably would not recommend this pasta. I'm a little disappointed.

Solid food and easy to get last minute reservations! Our server was sweet and a lot of the staff were attentive when our waiter got busy.

Had lunch here with several girlfriends during a ladies weekend... Pros- food. Everything we ordered was extremely tasty. Their pizza is perfectly made, I didn't order it, but wish I had (next time!) I had a small slice from a friend and enjoyed every bite! I ordered their steak which was cooked to my desired temperature (medium rare) and also very delicious. Service was also great! A little confusing since we had the two brothers....luckily they wore two different shirts, but their resemblance at first confused me (I'm slow!)! And the person who made the pizzas, she may have been the chef, she was hilarious!! She came over to check on us several times and had us laughing each time! Cons- I can't think of any...

We had a wonderful dinner at Oenotri. First of all we had the focaccia bread with one of the best olive oil I have ever tasted - and I was in Italy a few months ago. We had a party of 5 with a reservation and were seated promptly and had fully attentive and friendly service. For food I had the busa pasta which was delicious, my wife had the halibut which she loved, and my daughter had a vegan pizza which she claims is one of the best she ever had. What a great experience!

Lovely Italian place for dinner while staying in Napa, definitely make a reservation in case they are busy - the restaurant was almost full when we arrived (their entrance is confusingly located inside the alley, not facing the main street, which we missed the first loop around). I really enjoyed the beet salad, but I just wish it was slightly larger for the price. That aside, all the pasta and pizza dishes sounded good so we had a hard time deciding what to get - ultimately, we opted for the formaggi pizza and added pancetta, and the special pasta of the day which was a ragu lasagna. The pizza won out for us over the lasagna, but the pizza was also a tad on the expensive side for the portion ($38). The lasagna was fine, but felt a bit basic for $25. Service was good, nothing fancy but they were attentive for how busy they were. All in all, we enjoyed the meal and would come back. Given they are located downtown, look for street parking, or for a spot in the public lots which are all walkable within a few blocks.

Delicious pasta in a great spot! Everything here is a good choice, and the pasta is fresh and delicious. We shared two appetizers and three pastas between three people and came home with leftovers. Portions are a good size, and we each had a different favorite pasta so you really can't go wrong. They were swamped when we got there, but our server was apologetic and was clearly working hard to attend to everyone. I would absolutely come back!

Was in the area for the day and we found this place on Yelp so we made a reservation just in case it was busy on the weekend. We arrived early and it was busy so they sat us down right away. Our waitress came over right away, gave us some waters, and took are drink orders. We ordered some wine from a couple local wineries and they both were good. Our main dishes were the Cresta Di Gallo, Trumpetti Pork Rago, and the Pancetta Wrapped Rabbit. All of our dishes were cooked great, nice flavor, noodles were al denti, the rabbit was tender, and the rago was delicious as well. The service was great regardless of the restaurant not being busy. Our desert was also delicious. I forgot the name of our desert, sorry.

Visiting Napa on a Wednesday no real plans for dinner. Found ourselves downtown so went to our go to Oenotri. For a weeknight it was fairly busy but not full. Service was good but nothing memorable. Jeremiah was fairly attentive but was busy with a bigger table. Our food arrived within a reasonable time and temperature appropriate. Their pasta was spot on the brussels sprouts were outstanding. I'd highly recommend them. After we completed dinner, we had to wait an unreasonable time for them to clear the plates and I had to ask for the check. After asking I still Waited a bit before receiving the check. All and all a good experience and a good choice for your pasta and pizza needs.

I absolutely had high hopes for Oenotri but sadly, disappointed with food and service. Let me start with the two star rating. One is for the mixed green salad that had flavor and the other for our busser not waiter who was attentive in getting us waters and providing a bucket of ice for our wine. That's the two generous stars for this restaurant. With open table app, I was able to get a reservation for four with no problem. However, the service is lacking. Poor Jeremiah seemed like he had all the tables to himself and we did not get the attention we need. The appetizers came quick but the entrees took a while. Inconsistent to say the least. Now the food. Pizza prices are $30 for super thin 12 inch with so so taste. The linguini, forget it. Don't even order as it was bland, no flavor at all. It's pasta with cream sauce and maybe 6 pcs of mussels. It's tough for me to go back. There's a lot more options in Napa and this place should be skipped.

$$$$ alert. Delicious flavors! Creative and amazing pizzas. Deserts who so yummy everyone sparkled the plates. Tracy our server was cheerful, patient and jovial. She was the only one minding the floor but she was attentive and pleasant. Drinks were alright. Food was outstanding. Clean and cool restaurant set up. You can dress up or go in casual!

Went with friends from out of town. Ordered the polenta and the charcuterie board appetizer to share. The polenta was light, fluffy and heavenly. The charcuterie board was well loaded with different meats, cheeses, nuts and crackers. Everyone ordered pasta and I chose the burrata appetizer. Oh so yummy! Definitely a visit if you're here on vacation or as a local. Their pizza is also really good. Service is always great.

Came here for dinner based on a friend's suggestion who heard that the cast of the film Wine Country ate here while filming in the area. We made a reservation in advance (for dinner on a Saturday night), and it's good that we did, because it was pretty full when we arrived. The restaurant is spacious and a bit on the dimmer side, but there's nice natural light that comes in. I really enjoyed the Focaccia Classica (accompanied with olive oil). We also ordered the Mixed Lettuces salad, which honestly kind of just tasted like a Caesar salad but with a meyer lemon vinaigrette dressing. For my main, I ordered the Fidei all'Arrabbiata which was good but definitely spicy. I also tried a bit of the Cavatappi pasta (with clams) which was good as well! All in all, a pretty solid place for Italian food in Napa.

After we finished eating, I frantically researched (read: checked Yelp) for a winery to visit. Housley seemed to fit the bill--good reviews, dog-friendly (we had her dog with us), and what seemed to be a reasonable tasting price. Shortly after, her husband (and the winery's owner) Adam walks up with their daughter and asks us how we're doing. We continue to be starstruck. Service was wonderful. Seating was comfy. The views weren't the best (we were drinking on the sidewalk and there's a parklet too.) The 5 wines for $29 was not bad, but the size of the pours was lacking. The first pour was the smallest and then slowly they seemed to give us more (maybe they heard me!) Honestly, the pricier wines tasted better. I wish our wine tasting could've been free if we bought two bottles or something--I would've done that! Cute merch and store with goodies inside. Bathroom is clean. Would be back!

We started with the Dungeness Crab arancini, which are probably the best thing we ate all evening, and that's saying a lot because everything we had was great. These arancini are perfectly fried crab meat rolled into a ball served over a delicious tartar sauce. I wish I had 3 orders of this, at least. We ordered the soup of the day and their bread service. The soup was a white bean and sausage and it was perfectly salty and fatty. The bread and butter was a perfect accompaniment. The Carpe Diem salad was also really special. It had these Cabernet soaked dried cranberries that were so good and tart. For an entree, we ordered the short ribs which come over a risotto. It felt a little heavy, and maybe the sauce could've used a little acid to cut the heaviness. It was still really delicious though. For dessert, we had the espresso crème brûlée. This was just the icing on the cake of a great meal. I love Carpe Diem and hope to come back soon!
