Lovely experience. Service was top notch. Special thnx to sweet Norma, who paid close attention and offered to pack up each dish for me that I couldn't finish. 6 courses are a lot and I wasn't about to overstuff myself to get through everything. I'm good with a few tastes and onto the next. Love that I had leftovers to savor the next day as well! Norma's been with La Toque for 20 years, starting at their Rutherford location and then now in Napa. It was delightful to hear and see how she loves what she does. Food was good and flavorful. I liked the quail and the pasta. Loved the wagyu upgrade, definitely melted in my mouth. Being a French restaurant, I was really hoping foie gras was part of the tasting menu, a little disappointed it was not. I can't keep up with the California ban, on, off, yes, no, loopholes, whatnot, it would've been nice. It was nice way to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great 2-hour tasting experience.

Angus Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio. This dish was so savory and delicate.

The Service and Staff are IMPECCABLE!!! They take their time with you and explain the delicacy of each dish. They are so kind and really want to make sure you are enjoying your dining experience. The food is without a doubt, the most exquisite food that I have ever had. The softness of the food at just the right moments the flavors that have been so meticulously paired together is just amazing. I cannot rave enough about the dishes that I have never had carpaccio before, and I probably will never order it from another restaurant because this restaurant at the bar so high with the quality and flavor of the foods I don't think any other restaurant could compete. If you're looking for a very intimate, elegant dining experience I definitely recommend this restaurant. It has its own distinct dining experience!!!

We enjoyed a taste of Lyon tasting menu for restaurant month 2026. The restaurant is beautiful. The service was absolutely first class! We enjoyed a four course tasting menu with four wine pairings which were perfectly suited for the dishes they were paired with! As a bonus at the end of the evening we got to meet chef Ken Frank.

We celebrated our 15th anniversary at La Toque with a scrumptious black truffle dinner with pairings.. the ambience was elegant and the service impecable. Every dish was presented beautifully and masterfully paired with Old and New World wines. The best chicken I have ever had! Truffles truly elevate this experience.

We left La Toque wondering what the bloom just happened. This was supposed to be our anniversary dinner and the perfect way to end an otherwise amazing trip. Unfortunately, it was not what we expected. We opted for the tasting menu and found it to be overpriced for what was served to us. Course after course arrived looking very similar, mostly shades of brown and green, and lacked the flavour and creativity we were expecting. Nothing really stood out. To be fair, the wine list was impressive and the sommelier was knowledgeable and helpful. The water lady was good. The ice cream was also enjoyable, but not enough to elevate the overall experience. The ambiance missed the mark for us. We were expecting something elegant, romantic, and memorable. Instead, the dining room felt more like a buffet than a Michelin-starred restaurant. The rock and roll music was so loud that it made conversation difficult. We asked if it could be turned down and it was, but once most of the guests had left, the volume was turned right back up. What disappointed us most was the service. No one ever asked how we were enjoying our meal throughout the evening. Our waiter showed very little warmth or personality and made us feel more like an inconvenience than high paying guests. The evening ended on a particularly strange note. When the bill arrived, we asked for a pen so we could sign it. Instead of simply providing one, the waiter became visibly upset and asked how he was supposed to know we were not staying at the hotel before storming away from the table. We were genuinely shocked by the interaction. my husband told him how disappointed we were and he stormed off again. The manager came by and we asked if the owner was available, hoping to share our concerns, but were told he was attending a staff member's wedding. She apologized and offered $50 off our bill. Every restaurant can have an off night, but for a Michelin-starred restaurant, this experience fell far below expectations. What should have been a special dinner ended up being the most disappointing meal of our trip.

Really enjoyed the foods and ambiance there. Service was great, and Mother's Day brunch price is very reasonable with the amount and selections of dishes.

I'll say Latoque was 'OK' sortof. But the reality is I walked away from courses and wine pours and no one seemed to care. Although when they asked how things were and I said I was shoked that the Chesapeake Bay Striped Bass wasn't seaasoned and I was left to scrape off the skin & dark meat. The person who asked how things were going kind of put his nose up and offered me octopus. No, if I'm not happy with the striped bass (a simple thing to cook) I'm not going to say yes to octopus. So we went on with the chef course and wine pairing (which I also walked away from some wine too). I will say, the front of the house staff tried, the unfortunate thing is the back of the house staff didn't try. I give latoque 2 stars. It wasn't for me, maybe it's for you. I just know I wont go back and they didn't try to make me go back even though I was honest it just isn't worth a Michelin star in my opnion. Please know I let them know I wasn't happy and I still paid full price and didn't ask for a discount. I wanted to like this spot, I just didn't. I'm hoping I'm not sick from how raw the lamb chop was tonight. Also, some super weird "yes chef" type chanting was happening from the kitchen. I could hear them talking from the kitchen about how I wasn't happy and how they were going to present the lamb. Just odd.

I love the Chef's Tasting Menu. Their sommelier has some amazing wines from around the world. He even paired Pear Coder with the cheese course, which was a pleasant surprise. La Toque is a must every time I visit Napa. The staff their work like a well oiled machine to keep the courses flowing. The service is very cordial and welcoming. I highly recommend the Kobe Beef upgrade as well, and I am usually a frugal diner. Delicious!

Chef Ken Frank world renowned epicurean Chef.

I have been looking forward to going to this restaurant with the world renowned Chef Ken Frank located at the Westin in downtown Napa. The restaurant is open, sterile and has some warmth with the fireplace and a row of booths on opposite sides of the restaurant. We had the 3 course tasting menu and dessert paired with wine. The theme was Lyonnaise , first course was a soft cheese with toasted bread, second course was lardons and frisée salad, third course pistachio sausage served with a dollop of mashed potatoes and cooked carrots. The dessert "Il Flottante" a cream with meringue floating on top with a drizzle of Carmel. Like most high-end dining you never know what you're going to get ( like the French Laundry and other Michelin star restaurants ) it may be something that you love or it may be something that you enjoy but wouldn't order again. The service was exceptional, the wine pairing was excellent and the food was unique and an epicurean experience. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the renown Ken Frank. What a wonderful evening!!

What an amazing tasting menu and service! We are vegetarian and their vegetarian tasting menu was incredible. We got a bottle of Hamel Cabernet and it may have been the best wine we have ever had. The service was probably the best we had in Napa our entire trip. Cannot recommend enough!

Does this look like Cioppino to you?

Everything could have been better. We checked into the Westin in Napa for a one night get-a-way. We noticed the restaurant which claimed to be a Michelin stared restaurant was attached, so we changed our other reservation to eat there. Mistake number one. Christiana was lovely and though we felt underdressed she said it was fine. Later we discovered no was "dressed". It's so sad to see people in t-shirts spending $200+ per person for dinner. We are not at the beach. We brought a Nickel & Nickel $200 bottle of wine, but to save another $50 dollar corkage fee we bought a $165 bottle of Oregon Pinot Noir which was ok, but not spectacular. I'd rather have a $20 Bogle that tastes just as good! The pre dinner taster was good and served in a lovely manner. It took a while to get our wine. The arugula and etc salad was light and tasty, but nothing special. My husband's beef and pasta dinner with fried onions on top was tasty, but there was very little beef for the price. My cioppino was not good. There was not much fish, a lot of croutons (who puts those in this), no squid, canned mussels, no shrimp or crab and a lot of pasta circles. I ordered cioppino not pasta. I told our rather pompous waiter it was really bad. Since my husband told him it was my birthday he brought out a beautiful plate with tiny dark chocolate desserts right after I told him I do not like dark chocolate. Too funny. I told the waiter I thought the cioppino was terrible. We were still charged. I'm so sorry he has the same name as my son as he was pompous beyond belief. The sommelier had worked his way up from being a server, so was not a sommelier. The whole thing was a $400 joke. What a joke. I will not eat here again or refer people to it!

The staff were rude and made us feel like we did not belong just because my child was walking around at the back of her high chair. By the second course I lost my appetite from worrying we would be kicked out. I am even more disappointed because I had been asking my husband to bring me here for months, and this was how it turned out. They seem to cater more to older people who do not have kids and were very rude to families. The food was not good either. For a restaurant that claims to be high end, the service was anything but friendly. Definitely not kid friendly and not worth the experience. Edit: Your statements about my child "screaming and running around the tables" are completely false and inappropriate. We were respectful guests, and any review implying otherwise is both inaccurate and defamatory. The restaurant has cameras that can confirm this. Please be advised that false public statements about our behavior can constitute defamation of character. This message serves as written notice of my objection to your misleading comments made during what was supposed to be a fine dining experience.

I'm quite surprised by the mixed reviews of this place because I had a fabulous dining experience this second time around! Mind you, I'm not the most experienced Michelin star connoisseur, so my experience may be different from yours. I made my reservations online, and we found parking on the street pretty easily. We were thankfully on time since our hotel was less than 15 minutes away. I was here three years ago, and there are a few minor changes to the restaurant, but it remained pretty much the same. The decor is classic with a dark ambiance in the main dining area. They also have a well lit porch area, which gave that area a more lively feel. Cocktails: Porn star martini. This was a nice light drink. I enjoyed the meld of vanilla and passionfruit. It comes with a small glass of Prosecco, which was an interesting pairing. Personally, I don't think the drinks go well together, but I won't say no to another drink! Chef's Tasting Menu: This will make you full! I enjoyed all of the dishes! My favorites - Crab in the broth, scallops, oxtail, and deer! Now let me say, I'm not a big fan of game meat because I don't like the aftertaste and texture. However, the deer was seared so perfectly with nary a hint of gaminness to it! And the oxtail was smooth like butter! To tell you the truth, I was so full after the main entree, it was hard to enjoy the next two courses! But of course, the rum ice cream was so good! It wasn't alcohol forward. You also receive a box of chocolates to go. I was pleased to see that they had a pumpkin chocolate. My closest friends know that I love pumpkin and this was a nice treat to have at home. The pacing between dishes was on point, with even the executive chef and owner delivering some of the dishes. We chatted with him for a bit, and he was a friendly guy. The servers were constantly attentive, and I appreciate the level of service that we were given. It's definitely a night to remember! And yes, I would return again! Was it expensive, yes! But the quality of food and the service was amazing and well worth the return back from me.

After we finished eating, I frantically researched (read: checked Yelp) for a winery to visit. Housley seemed to fit the bill--good reviews, dog-friendly (we had her dog with us), and what seemed to be a reasonable tasting price. We get there and we realize it's owned by Tamera Mowry (who is now Mowry-Housley!) There's a picture of her and her husband (a former baseball player) in the window. We're sort-of starstruck. Shortly after, her husband (and the winery's owner) Adam walks up with their daughter and asks us how we're doing. We continue to be starstruck. Service was wonderful. Seating was comfy. The views weren't the best (we were drinking on the sidewalk and there's a parklet too.) The 5 wines for $29 was not bad, but the size of the pours was lacking. The first pour was the smallest and then slowly they seemed to give us more (maybe they heard me!) Honestly, the pricier wines tasted better. I wish our wine tasting could've been free if we bought two bottles or something--I would've done that! Cute merch and store with goodies inside. Bathroom is clean. Would be back!

Not only did they give us two mini cups of wine, they also comped the tiramisu as a gift. It goes to show how attentive and extraordinary the staff and their service is. This restaurant would have to be one of the best restaurants I've been to with such amazing service. The dungeness crab arancini was so flavorful and crisp, not a single part of it was soggy (aside from the inside). The sauce brought the whole dish together and I was pleasantly surprised to taste how well the parmesan cheese went with the entire dish. The short rib was also truly amazing. It was so tender and paired really well with every single aspect of the dish. The short rib is definitely a must-have for anyone who hasn't ordered it yet. I will say, the 12oz ribeye did unfortunately fall short. It looked like it was cooked perfectly with a crispy crust on the exterior but it ended up being a little too tough to chew and cooked too much (we had ordered medium rare and it was cooked to medium well). My partner enjoyed his sides at least and we traded dishes halfway through so he can also enjoy the short rib. But the whole experience made up for that shortcoming! As for the dessert, both were incredible. You can't mess up a vanilla affogato so we enjoyed it tremendously, it was refreshing to have after eating all that meat. As for the tiramisu, it was so good that we wished we could have a whole tray of it. It paired so perfectly with the strawberry and was so delicious. Words can't explain how good the tiramisu tasted. Overall a 10/10.

I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.

I stumbled upon Levendi through a recommendation from a coworker, and it has since become my…read moreabsolute favorite tasting room in Napa. My husband and I were able to call ahead and schedule a very last-minute tasting, and from the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. I work in the wine industry on the retail side in Texas, while my husband does not, so creating an experience that feels both educational and approachable for both of us is not always easy. Steve absolutely nailed it. He welcomed us warmly, shared thoughtful stories about the wines and the winery, and made the experience feel incredibly personal. The tasting room itself is beautiful and feels like a hidden gem in Napa. We especially loved learning about the wines and the woman winemaker behind Levendi. The tasting was stunning from start to finish. What truly sets Levendi apart, though, is the level of hospitality. Since our visit, I have referred many of my favorite clients to Levendi, and Steve consistently goes above and beyond for them. He bends over backwards to make sure my customers are taken care of, and every single person I've sent has come back raving about their experience. At this point, a trip to Napa would not feel complete without a stop at Levendi. I honestly cannot imagine Napa without Levendi -- or Steve. If it's your first visit, do yourself a favor and try the Stagecoach. You won't be sorry.
