Went in and ask for some numbers on a 2026 integra type s, i asked for a best rate based on an excellent credit score and the person (i forgot his name) who was helping me gave me a high APR and his argument was that you don't get low APR on that specific vehicle (type S) he said i was arguing but i never did i was just telling him that normally in a new car that APR is not that high, i would understand if it was used, but anyways since he said i was arguing i got up and left since me speaking and explaining apparently was arguing Dont fall for that BS, i got a better rate in ACURA OF SAN FRANCISCO...... read more

I came in here to purchase a vehicle and Richard was very friendly at first. After discussing numbers and letting him know I was shopping around he became very dismissive. He gave me a number that he said nobody can beat which was false because the first two dealers had given me a much better price. When I asked him for the break down he printed them out and then quick took them away and said they're his, so I asked him why can't I have them. His tone and response was very poor, then said no because I don't want you to show my numbers to other dealers. I told him okay no problem that's fine have a nice day and take car. He then raised his voice and said "I'm not chasing you out the door." The service towards the end definitely is what made me realize that I will never visit this dealer again. read more

Initially after purchasing my car from this dealership, I received excellent service from Russ Sauer who took care of all my scheduled maintenance. Unfortunately, Russ retired, so during my recent service appointment, I had the displeasure of working with a service advisor named Giana. She refused to honor a promotional discount because I forgot to bring the mailer. She made me jump thru hoops to look for it in email even though I let her know that I'd opted out of email marketing. When I politely asked why the dealership was unable to honor the promo they'd mailed to me, she blamed her manager, stated that she didn't make the policy, then smirked and said, "You're welcome to go elsewhere for service." Wow. I could understand if the discount couldn't be applied because of policy, but I was shocked and offended by the snarky, passive-aggressive attitude. Giana then informed me that she "had to honor a lower price" than what Capitol Acura charges for the A1 maintenance service because it was what Acura's phone service quoted me ($150.) It felt like she was implying that somehow I was trying to pull a fast one, so I calmly asked how that might have happened. Giana said it happens because Capitol Acura's phone service supports multiple dealerships. That tells me that 1) Capitol Acura charges more for maintenance service than other local dealerships and 2) Capitol Acura apparently believes that pointing that out to their customers and telling them to go elsewhere is good business practice. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this Acura dealership, working with Vu Nguyen the sales manager when trying to complete an early lease return through Acura Financial Services. I followed all the necessary steps: scheduled a True360 inspection and was instructed to drop the car off at my local Acura dealership. When I called ahead to speak with the finance department, the gentleman who answered the phone seemed completely uninterested in helping me--likely because it wasn't a sales opportunity. Instead, he tried to push me into a dealer buyback/trade-in that would have resulted in a $3,000 loss. They offered a lowball KBB "fair" trade-in value of $34,000 for my MDX, even though my actual lease trade-in value was $37,000. I declined, and when I came back to return the vehicle as originally instructed, they refused to take it because the VIN wasn't accepted in their system. The manager, Vu Nguyen, was incredibly rude and dismissive. Even though the system clearly prompted him to call Acura's 800 number for help, he outright refused, saying it wasn't a good use of his time. When I mentioned that I had regularly serviced my MDX at their location, he said it still wasn't worth his time because they weren't making a sale. Absolutely unacceptable behavior!! For comparison, I went across the street to a Honda dealership, and they helped me immediately and took the car in without any issue. read more

I purchased a certified MDX from them when they were in LG, now 2 years later I find out that it had been in an accident prior to my purchase and they never disclosed it to me. It shouldn't have been certified. The sales manager, Vu, argued with me, standing his ground that he only refers to Carfax and that he doesnt know what Experion is or think its a valid report. 1) 4 stars: Buying Experience I had pretty good buying experience. Paper works were faster and had all my questions answered. 2) -3 Stars: Selling customer information I never consented Capital Acura to share/sell my personal information. Though I deliberately metioned not to share and they I agreed. Wihtin 10 days after the purchase, I got emails and mails from SiriusXM. Also spam calls from Auto/Home insurances. I have reached out to Capitol Acura in email with proof and they never responded back. But I reached out SiriusXM and they confirmed me that they got my information from the dealership. Please refer the attached picture of the mail from SiriusXM. 3) 1 Star: Service/Inspections I purchased the service for my pre-owned vehicle, within a month the dash show error code. I called them for appointment. Because this is Honda Pre-owned and asked me to contact Honda shop. I booked an appointment with Capitol Honda and they are not honouring it. Do NOT get your Acura serviced here. This was absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. I called to inquire about an oil change and the intake call was perfunctory, the woman on the phone asked me for my VIN number prior to being able to schedule an appointment. I thought a bit awkward because I I had to pull over to give that information but perhaps they would be more warm fuzzy in person. Then when I arrived, it was a ghost town. I pulled up and waited and no one came to greet me so I walked in to the service area. First question, with attitude, "where is your vehicle" literally my Integra Type S is parked right outside their sliding doors. I was advised to go back to my car and Gianna came to greet me. I let her know I had an appointment for an oil change and also a couple of items I wanted to have inspected (trunk cups to pull down the hatch, passenger speaker). We took a walk back out to my car so she could see the trunk and from there it completely soured. First red flag, she does not know her product. She was not confident about the orientation of the trunk pulls so she instructed another service advisor to go bring an Integra so she could see it. Obviously the ones in my car were flipped. Second red flag - the conversation escalated immediately to the blame game - she was insisting that this was NOT covered under warranty and that I would have to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. She brought out her manager. He was even ruder - mansplaining that my spoiler was after market - please do not insult me that I do not know about my car, and yes, the carbon fiber spoiler is an authorized Acura part - and that he possibly would have to dismantle my whole hatch to flip these cup pulls. Lengthy discussion that I would need to go back to the original dealer who did the installation, blah blah blah... No solution, just "you're out of luck and not covered. " I finally started laughing, and said, well, all I wanted to do is establish a relationship with my local Acura service provider because this is my first Acura. I did joke that I was used to Lexus service and how they roll out the red carpet and Giana did confirm, "nope - no red carpet here." The only saving grace is Junie - she called me to ask if I missed my appointment and was so sweet and understanding. She gave me the direct number to the General Manager Ben. I left him a voicemail and have not received a call back. Please note: this is only for Service Department. My son and I came here to test drive the Type S and Ben in Sales and his Sales manager were super knowledgeable and helpful. read more

The lady said that there was a waitlist to get this done and could not give me an estimate to when this could be taken care of. I asked when a month, 2 months, or a year. She said no ETA so I'm never coming back. I had my service done here a few months back and they changed the battery too and I waited in the sales lobby. It's worth the drive, as I tried a dealer closer to home and it was not a good experience. If you're a Costco member, go through the Costco car program (super easy and fast); once I filled out the form, Richard called me immediately and offered a sizable discount on a 2024 Integra which I saw everywhere online for sticker price. Anthony is such a smart gentleman that was not pushy with us and had so much patience when going over numbers and expectations.
