    I went into this dealership, so excited to look at this car that I found on car guru everything was going good super excited until two days later my check engine light comes on. I reach out to Jason Cardenas the one who sold me the car told me to come back. They took care of that problem. Then my check engine light turns on two days later and my battery is completely shot alternator out. Jason Cardenas does not reach out to me. I pay for a warranty on the car thinking it was gonna cover everything as he mentioned to me or I didn't need to pay it as you know it's optional to pay for warranty come to find out the warranty does not cover anything that has to do with check engine now I'm a mom of four kids trying to figure out how I'm gonna take care of this car fix it and continue making the monthly payments. Worst experience at this dealership ever Jason Cardenas should not be allowed to sell cars when all he does is lie to the customers and when I try to reach out for help completely ignores. Within two weeks nothing but problems with the car. I haven't even had it a full month and problems. Continue to happen.

    This has been the best hands down the best experience with a car salesperson. We've walked out of many dealerships because they tell you one thing then it's something different at the end. I was very skeptical when my husband told me about the deals and made a bet with him that it was going to be like all the others. I know most of us don't enjoy dealing with salespeople but I'm pleasantly surprised and impressed with Jason, he gave off awesome honesty vibes and he came through for us. The deal was even better in person than was told on the phone. Well, that was a first and opposite that previous experiences. We purchased a 2024 Chevy Blazer EV. I cannot begin to say what an absolute redeeming experience this has been. Please go to Chevrolet Capitol and see Jason Cardenas if you're in the market for a great purchasing experience and great deals.

    I was looking at a black 2024 silverado trail boss Z71 test drived the truck and it was very nice. The salesman was also very nice and polite. I did tell the salesman I don't want any upsell like gap,service contract And ect. The truck I was looking for was advertised $69,695 on the internet but on their sticker on the window was 77k They come back at me with a $9300 upsell with unnecessary Bs. After talking to the closer /manager He explained to me that I didn't have to buy all that but there was a $695 fee that I had to pay for or they wouldn't sell me the truck.now I feel ripped off They lost a customer over $595. That's crazy they will try to ripp you off instead of being honest and earn your bussiness. I ran my credit Just to waiste a inquiry. Do your RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING. SMH WAISTED 1 HOUR OF MY TIME

    TL;DR Lazy and unpleasant customer service, incompetent (don't know how to conduct an out of state sale), rude, passive, and will ghost you. Go to any non-DGDG owned dealership anywhere else and you're guaranteed a better experience. I've had several bad experiences with all of the DGDG owned car dealerships along Capitol Expressway. The Chevrolet dealership in particular has especially poor customer service. They refuse to sell a car to anyone who plans to register out of state. Doesn't matter if you live in CA now but are moving and so want to register it elsewhere or if you're an out of state buyer. They will not sell to you. This is what happened to me. I saw a Camaro for my dad who wanted to buy out of state. I was told while I was there that they don't usually do out of state sales because it takes so long to get the paperwork done "and it's not a good customer experience." I told them we've done out of state buys many times before, we know what to expect, and we do not want the paperwork to be the reason they won't sell us the car. After seeing the car, I actually got ahold of the sales manager Andrew who said he WOULD make an exception and sell the car to us. But after three weeks and several phone calls from both me and my dad, multiple voicemails, and partially unanswered texts, Andrew ghosted me (see screenshots). I have called repeatedly since the texts in the photos to no avail. You can see in the texts how I've been strung along as if they're willing to sell the Camaro to us but they won't actually start the process. I wish I could say I'm surprised. I'm not. I have a Buick and have had the disappointing experience of getting it serviced at DGDG's Buick location before. They always try to overcharge for services, lie about what my car needs, and create a very unpleasant customer experience. They truly do not care to put in a little extra effort to sell a car because I'll register it out of state. Sounds to me like they just don't put in the effort to train their staff on how to do an out of state sale.

    I can't believe how incredible my experience was today! Richard Zaragoza is the person to thank for it all. He provided exactly what I was looking for and more for my growing family. I shared my needs with Richard, and he worked closely with us to find the perfect fit. From start to finish, he was very clear and honest in his communication.     2/1/23 we join the EV family! Allen and I finally decided to pull the trigger when our current (and only) gas vehicle was having some problems. Everyone else in CA probably has the same idea too, since there is a tax credit if you are eligible. We worked with Omar the entire time. Starting from the initial call, through signing paperwork, and handing off the keys. While it's extremely busy here, but the staff here is EXTREMELY friendly. I love the chill vibe. There is free wifi, and the staff will have phone chargers for you (trust me, you're gonna need it). The whole process took 4.5 hours. They also needed to charge the vehicle. They have coffee and tea in one corner, vending machine here as well. Near the end we worked with Armando (I'm not sure if that's how you spell his name) and I appreciate that he wasn't trying to force us to buy anything against our will. All in all, I give Capitol Chevrolet a 5 star review compared to some other places I have been to!

    BEWARE - My Honest Experience I normally don't write…read morereviews, but I feel I have to warn others. I bought a van from this dealership that looked perfectly fine at first. Unfortunately, not long after, I started having serious issues. I later found out that the engine harness wires had been cut and taped back together, which caused ongoing engine problems. This isn't something that happens by accident--it's a sign of very poor or careless repair work. On top of that, the sliding door switch didn't work properly, and at one point the door actually opened while I was driving, which was honestly scary and dangerous. Fixing all of this turned into a nightmare. I had to make around 10 trips to the mechanic, replace the wiring harness, fix the electrical system, and deal with repeated diagnostics. In total, I ended up spending over $4,000 just to get the vehicle into a safe and working condition. What's most frustrating is that these are not small issues--they should have been caught and addressed before the car was ever sold. From my experience, this dealership is: Not transparent Not standing behind what they sell Not BBB accredited My advice: don't take the risk. At the very least, get a very thorough independent inspection before buying from them. Personally, I would just look elsewhere.

He got the keys for me and let me take it for a test drive. Upon return I decided to purchase the car. I had been looking EVERYWHERE for a affordable Honda Civic in good condition. We negotiated and agreed on a price and made the deal. I had a unique situation; I live in Stockton and had no way to get the car home that day. He allowed me to keep it on the lot until the next morning. Shane and his team are not stereotypical sleaze bag used car salesmen. Customer service and a welcoming atmosphere are a priority at The Car Store San Jose. They've been in business since '77 for a reason. They suit all budgets and I will be recommending The Car Store to my friends. 5/5 Stars

Well i had someone drive me from Livermore to San Jose just in case i did walkaway with the car since those were my intentions. Their site says they open at 10 am. we got there at 10:30 and the gates were still locked. so i called to make sure they were indeed open. The guy on the phone said Yes,and that the person opening up would be there soon, but that he was running late. That he had already spoken to him saying he was definitely on his way there it would only take ten minutes. So i waited, and waited. then i called again at 10:50 and again he said only five more minutes, to just wait. Well of course i waited i drove all the way over here, i wasn't just going to walk away. i even walked to car lot across the street and tooka look at those used cars. Then 11:15 or so came around and still nothing. and they have yet to call back to apologize or anything. Great reviews, i was hoping i would walk away with a cute new little car, but the level of professionalism and disrespect just made me turn away. i guess ill keep searching for a new car somewhere else.

This is a family owned business and it shows in the way they treat their customers. When you buy from Slipstream, you are buying from the owners themselves, Nathan, Val, and Darwin. Nathan addressed all my concerns when shopping for a reliable car for my daughter. He listened to my input and asked relevant questions to understand our needs and meet them. I anticipated this email to come the evening before our morning appointment. I did receive a phone call the evening prior, asking if I needed help with anything, and I asked about this expected paperwork. turns out they dont sent it until about an hour before your appointment. so an hour and 15min prior to our appointment, I received a text from CarMax stating that they needed my husband to upload his DL (they sent an email link), and then they will send the paperwork for signatures. my husband did so, and we left for our appointment about 30min before our scheduled appt time. we arrived at CarMax ~10min early, and still no paperwork. it wasn't until 15min past our scheduled appt time that we received this paperwork, the internet (even on wi-fi) inside the CarMax is absolute trash so it took forever to load, and at this point I'm feeling pressure to run through everything and just sign everything without reading a damn thing. I hope that our express pickup experience is abnormal, and here's to hoping our express drop-off this coming weekend is a smoother process. overall, I would recommend CarMax for purchasing a vehicle. so far, we are very happy with our used car, and we would definitely use CarMax in the future!

Both experiences were delightful, stress free (who would associate stress-free when you buy a car?) and quick. No hassle car buying - that should be his business's title. He helped us narrow down the list of cars we were looking at and make a decision that worked for us. He also scheduled all the test drives, negotiated the prices, and pointed us to a specific person at the dealership, a complete VIP experience. He did the same for our friends just this week, they bought a great car in a great condition, he negotiated the price down and steered them away from less desirable options. My friend was nervous (just like I was before ) because the process of buying a car is stressful.
