    Amazing experience! First, Darius has a quiet patience about him. He is so kind, soft spoken but extremely helpful. If he doesn't have the answer, he doesn't make broken promises, rather will find it to ensure we are not given the incorrect information. Truly, not aggressive and has a patience that makes you want to work with him. I had called over 5 dealerships all over the Bay Area as I flew in same day to help get my nephew car. His was totaled from a drunk driver and having the worst week. Other dealerships laughed and were just bluntly rude with our ask and request for what we were looking for. We ended up getting an amazing deal on a brand new 2026 crosstrek. To give us the icing on the cake- we had the pleasure of working with Derek who provided us with an amazing deal on warranty. He was genuine in conversations, not passive aggressive in generic conversation but truly made my nephew feel special and welcome for his first experience in purchasing his new car. Our family are first time owners of the Subaru family and Derek truly had the knowledge and experience in welcoming my nephew ensuring he made the right decision. Thank you both and thank you to DDG - these guys are stellar. Exceptional people, and honest. If it wasn't for Derek, this experience wouldn't have been the same.

    I am writing to express my absolute outrage and disappointment regarding a shocking experience I had with Capital Expressway Auto Mall Subaru. I received a promotional offer promising a $100 Visa gift card simply for test driving an EV vehicle. As someone genuinely interested in Subaru's EV lineup, I scheduled a test drive -- only to be met with lies, rudeness, and an appalling level of unprofessionalism. Two so-called "online product specialists," Jerome Rizon and Jacob Castro, both called me and flat-out denied the existence of the promotion -- despite the fact that it was clearly stated in both the email I received and on Subaru's own website. When I asked for an explanation, Jerome Rizon responded with jaw-dropping rudeness. He said, "You asked too much," and then hung up on me mid-conversation. I've never been treated with such disrespect by a representative of any brand, let alone one with Subaru's supposed reputation. Is this how Subaru trains its staff to speak to customers? Is this the kind of treatment prospective buyers can expect from your dealerships?

    Had an awesome experience with Stephen Fitch today. My first time in decades buying a new car. No high pressure, instead respectful information, sincere professionalism and true interest and focus on what we were looking for. The entire staff at DGDG Subaru in San Jose were great. Friendly and welcoming. Drove off in a new vehicle. Thank you Stephen and DGDG Subaru. I LOVE my new Crosstrek Sport.

    Went in to service my 2019 Premium Subaru Crosstrek for its 84k mile maintenance. I was assisted by mister Matthew Ta! Wonderful service advisor, helpful & attentive: I've been thinking about buying my second Subaru for a while now. Ended up test driving the 2025 Wilderness Edition Crosstrek and loving it! I purchased my 2nd Subaru the same day. The nice gentlemen that helped me throughout the process was mister Ford Schwartz. He was very detailed and attentive. Answered all the questions I had. Very excited to pass down my passion for Subarus to my loved ones and the future generations to come :)

    BEWARE - My Honest Experience I normally don't write…read morereviews, but I feel I have to warn others. I bought a van from this dealership that looked perfectly fine at first. Unfortunately, not long after, I started having serious issues. I later found out that the engine harness wires had been cut and taped back together, which caused ongoing engine problems. This isn't something that happens by accident--it's a sign of very poor or careless repair work. On top of that, the sliding door switch didn't work properly, and at one point the door actually opened while I was driving, which was honestly scary and dangerous. Fixing all of this turned into a nightmare. I had to make around 10 trips to the mechanic, replace the wiring harness, fix the electrical system, and deal with repeated diagnostics. In total, I ended up spending over $4,000 just to get the vehicle into a safe and working condition. What's most frustrating is that these are not small issues--they should have been caught and addressed before the car was ever sold. From my experience, this dealership is: Not transparent Not standing behind what they sell Not BBB accredited My advice: don't take the risk. At the very least, get a very thorough independent inspection before buying from them. Personally, I would just look elsewhere.

I found it quickly. It was unlocked so I was able to sit in it and inspect it closely. Shane and another sales associate were inside the building. They both greeted me and welcomed me to the store. He got the keys for me and let me take it for a test drive. Upon return I decided to purchase the car. I had been looking EVERYWHERE for a affordable Honda Civic in good condition. We negotiated and agreed on a price and made the deal. I had a unique situation; I live in Stockton and had no way to get the car home that day. He allowed me to keep it on the lot until the next morning. Shane and his team are not stereotypical sleaze bag used car salesmen. Customer service and a welcoming atmosphere are a priority at The Car Store San Jose. They've been in business since '77 for a reason. They suit all budgets and I will be recommending The Car Store to my friends. 5/5 Stars

Well i had someone drive me from Livermore to San Jose just in case i did walkaway with the car since those were my intentions. Their site says they open at 10 am. we got there at 10:30 and the gates were still locked. so i called to make sure they were indeed open. The guy on the phone said Yes,and that the person opening up would be there soon, but that he was running late. That he had already spoken to him saying he was definitely on his way there it would only take ten minutes. So i waited, and waited. then i called again at 10:50 and again he said only five more minutes, to just wait. Well of course i waited i drove all the way over here, i wasn't just going to walk away. i even walked to car lot across the street and tooka look at those used cars. Then 11:15 or so came around and still nothing. and they have yet to call back to apologize or anything. Great reviews, i was hoping i would walk away with a cute new little car, but the level of professionalism and disrespect just made me turn away. i guess ill keep searching for a new car somewhere else.

This is a family owned business and it shows in the way they treat their customers. When you buy from Slipstream, you are buying from the owners themselves, Nathan, Val, and Darwin. Nathan addressed all my concerns when shopping for a reliable car for my daughter. He listened to my input and asked relevant questions to understand our needs and meet them. The buying process itself was quick and problem-free. Nathan was flexible and met me at the office after hours to sign the papers. I highly recommend Nathan at SS to anyone looking for a quality used car without the "used car" sales routine.     my husband and I had a good experience purchasing a car from CarMax. we did all of our shopping and…read moreresearch on our own online, scheduled a test drive (without express pickup), loved the car, filled out the application with the sales associate after the test drive, and scheduled our express pickup for a couple days later (based on scheduling). our express pickup was not quite as express as we'd anticipated. after completing the application with the sales associate, we were told to expect documentation to be sent for signatures via email prior to our express pickup appointment. I anticipated this email to come the evening before our morning appointment. I did receive a phone call the evening prior, asking if I needed help with anything, and I asked about this expected paperwork. turns out they dont sent it until about an hour before your appointment. so an hour and 15min prior to our appointment, I received a text from CarMax stating that they needed my husband to upload his DL (they sent an email link), and then they will send the paperwork for signatures. my husband did so, and we left for our appointment about 30min before our scheduled appt time. we arrived at CarMax ~10min early, and still no paperwork. it wasn't until 15min past our scheduled appt time that we received this paperwork, the internet (even on wi-fi) inside the CarMax is absolute trash so it took forever to load, and at this point I'm feeling pressure to run through everything and just sign everything without reading a damn thing. I hope that our express pickup experience is abnormal, and here's to hoping our express drop-off this coming weekend is a smoother process. overall, I would recommend CarMax for purchasing a vehicle. so far, we are very happy with our used car, and we would definitely use CarMax in the future!

Both experiences were delightful, stress free (who would associate stress-free when you buy a car?) and quick. No hassle car buying - that should be his business's title. He helped us narrow down the list of cars we were looking at and make a decision that worked for us. He also scheduled all the test drives, negotiated the prices, and pointed us to a specific person at the dealership, a complete VIP experience. He did the same for our friends just this week, they bought a great car in a great condition, he negotiated the price down and steered them away from less desirable options. My friend was nervous (just like I was before ) because the process of buying a car is stressful. But after they got into the dealership and the car was waiting for them, they test drove and bought the car. My friend said: who would have thought that I can enjoy buying a car!
