    Amazing experience! First, Darius has a quiet patience about him. He is so kind, soft spoken but extremely helpful. If he doesn't have the answer, he doesn't make broken promises, rather will find it to ensure we are not given the incorrect information. Truly, not aggressive and has a patience that makes you want to work with him. I had called over 5 dealerships all over the Bay Area as I flew in same day to help get my nephew car. His was totaled from a drunk driver and having the worst week. Other dealerships laughed and were just bluntly rude with our ask and request for what we were looking for. We ended up getting an amazing deal on a brand new 2026 crosstrek. To give us the icing on the cake- we had the pleasure of working with Derek who provided us with an amazing deal on warranty. He was genuine in conversations, not passive aggressive in generic conversation but truly made my nephew feel special and welcome for his first experience in purchasing his new car. Our family are first time owners of the Subaru family and Derek truly had the knowledge and experience in welcoming my nephew ensuring he made the right decision. Thank you both and thank you to DDG - these guys are stellar. Exceptional people, and honest. If it wasn't for Derek, this experience wouldn't have been the same.

    I am writing to express my absolute outrage and disappointment regarding a shocking experience I had with Capital Expressway Auto Mall Subaru. I received a promotional offer promising a $100 Visa gift card simply for test driving an EV vehicle. As someone genuinely interested in Subaru's EV lineup, I scheduled a test drive -- only to be met with lies, rudeness, and an appalling level of unprofessionalism. Two so-called "online product specialists," Jerome Rizon and Jacob Castro, both called me and flat-out denied the existence of the promotion -- despite the fact that it was clearly stated in both the email I received and on Subaru's own website. When I asked for an explanation, Jerome Rizon responded with jaw-dropping rudeness. He said, "You asked too much," and then hung up on me mid-conversation. I've never been treated with such disrespect by a representative of any brand, let alone one with Subaru's supposed reputation. Is this how Subaru trains its staff to speak to customers? Is this the kind of treatment prospective buyers can expect from your dealerships?

    Had an awesome experience with Stephen Fitch today. My first time in decades buying a new car. No high pressure, instead respectful information, sincere professionalism and true interest and focus on what we were looking for. The entire staff at DGDG Subaru in San Jose were great.     Went in to service my 2019 Premium Subaru Crosstrek for its 84k mile maintenance. I was assisted by mister Matthew Ta! Wonderful service advisor, helpful & attentive: I've been thinking about buying my second Subaru for a while now. Ended up test driving the 2025 Wilderness Edition Crosstrek and loving it! I purchased my 2nd Subaru the same day. The nice gentlemen that helped me throughout the process was mister Ford Schwartz. He was very detailed and attentive. Answered all the questions I had. Very excited to pass down my passion for Subarus to my loved ones and the future generations to come :)

He got the keys for me and let me take it for a test drive. Upon return I decided to purchase the car. I had been looking EVERYWHERE for a affordable Honda Civic in good condition. We negotiated and agreed on a price and made the deal. I had a unique situation; I live in Stockton and had no way to get the car home that day. He allowed me to keep it on the lot until the next morning. Shane and his team are not stereotypical sleaze bag used car salesmen. Customer service and a welcoming atmosphere are a priority at The Car Store San Jose. They've been in business since '77 for a reason. They suit all budgets and I will be recommending The Car Store to my friends. 5/5 Stars

    Scammed by DGDG…read more Last year, I sold my fully PPF-wrapped Tesla Model Y to DGDG. During the evaluation, they told me they had to deduct $1,000 from the offer because the car was wrapped and they needed to remove the wrap before reselling it. I accepted the reduced offer based on that explanation. Months later, I was contacted by the person who bought my old Tesla. He found me on LinkedIn to ask some questions about the car. To my surprise, he told me the car was sold to him with the full PPF wrap still on it. I immediately called DGDG to understand what happened. Their response was, "You agreed to the final selling price, so there's nothing we can do now." I spent over 90 minutes trying to reach a manager. Everyone I spoke with said, "I'm not responsible; I'll connect you to the manager," and then the line got disconnected. When I tried to call back, I received no response. When I finally got connected with a manager, she said, "The buyer wanted to have the PPF, so we didn't unwrap it." And while I was still talking to her, the phone got disconnected again. I called back, but no one answered. This was a clear case of deception. They reduced the price claiming they had to remove the wrap, then sold the car as-is with the wrap still on, profiting from my loss. Avoid doing business with this DGDG. If they ask to reduce your car's value for any reason, demand clear documentation that explains the breakdown of the final offer and the reasons behind any deductions. Do not rely on verbal explanations. I regret trusting them.

However, about a week later when I went to get an oil change, I realized something that made the process more complicated than it should have been. Because this is a company vehicle, oil changes require approval through the corporate fleet program. I later found out that the dealership never actually called to get the oil change approved, which created unnecessary confusion on my end. Another thing that stood out was that the service advisor repeatedly asked why my company didn't just buy me a brand new car off the lot. Since this is a corporate fleet vehicle, that decision obviously isn't something I control. It felt like an odd question to keep asking and didn't really have anything to do with the service appointment. The recall service itself was completed, but better communication and a clearer understanding of how corporate fleet vehicles work would make the experience smoother for customers in the future.

    We purchased our car on 1/31. When getting the car we noticed a hole in the seat and was told that…read moresomeone would be repairing it. We also paid for a sealant to be placed over the outside and inside of the car. We also had an anti theft system already installed in the car that we were told we had to pay for because it was already on the car. They were to activate and then send us the information via email so that we can complete the process. We asked to leave the car and return once the repairs were made, the sealant, placed, and the anti theft connected. Th person who sold us the car by the name of Samson informed us to take the car at that time because they would need to make an appointment to get everything done. We leave with the car and are called with an appointment time to return. We live 1.5 hrs away. I take the car back there at said appointment time and everyone seems confused.because the person who repairs the car is in Tahoe and only does the work on Thursdays and this was not a Thursday. Samson calls and apologizes and says not to worry, I know you live far so I will make arrangements to pick up the car and return it once the work is completed. I am told while I am there the sealant cannot be placed because the hole would need to be repaired first. They did however connect the anti theft. After that completion my clock and everything was thrown off. I asked them to please reset the clock and they couldn't. I was told when I get home to do the update and it should fix the problem and if it didn't that they would fix it when they bring it in for the other tasks. Did the update and it still doesn't work. The said time came and passed that was arranged by Samson for the car to be picked up from the resident. I was told when I phoned to inquire that he forgot and could we set up another time. Lo and behold that time too came and Samson said he was in the hospital sick and I haven't heard from anyone since. Not to mention we never received the email for the anti theft device that we need to finish setting up which by the way they tacked on an extra $4000+. I've made multiple calls and either I'm told a manager will get back to me, the phone just rings and rings, or it goes to voicemail. In short the worse experience I've ever encountered. In long; they will continue to hear from me until the things we paid for are done or just give us our money back. Currently looking into how to handle this next. Just beware!

Well i had someone drive me from Livermore to San Jose just in case i did walkaway with the car since those were my intentions. Their site says they open at 10 am. we got there at 10:30 and the gates were still locked. so i called to make sure they were indeed open. The guy on the phone said Yes,and that the person opening up would be there soon, but that he was running late. That he had already spoken to him saying he was definitely on his way there it would only take ten minutes. So i waited, and waited. then i called again at 10:50 and again he said only five more minutes, to just wait. Well of course i waited i drove all the way over here, i wasn't just going to walk away. i even walked to car lot across the street and tooka look at those used cars. Then 11:15 or so came around and still nothing. and they have yet to call back to apologize or anything. Great reviews, i was hoping i would walk away with a cute new little car, but the level of professionalism and disrespect just made me turn away. i guess ill keep searching for a new car somewhere else.

Jason held my check as a payment for the car. Being that a friend recommended him to me i was trusting that he would do the right thing. He did not show up again for several days after I have him the check which he ended up cashing. Jason showed up finally in the evening with a Maserati, and i was told by them that it was a good value. It was night time and I should have known better when he had to jump start the car after he pulled it up on the lot. He talked me into buying this what turned out to be a piece of shit car. He brought it at night time because he didn't want me to see how the paint was all peeling off of the roof of the car. The very next day I told Jason I didn't want this car. He told me he would look for an M5 and kept promising me one. I got the run around to the point where he would not even come into work if he was at home and saw me on camera there. The car ended up getting impounded. He wanted me to lie to the police saying that the front window sticker was on there when it wasn't. I said no way. I ended up having to pay to get the car out which Jason never took responsibility for. I ended up finding out that the car was only to be worth 12k and I heard that he only paid 11k for it, but i think it was more like 9k he paid for it. It was missing an air conditioning pump and could not pass smog. I am going to keep posting these post daily until he talked care of me because I want to warm people that you could be next. He is not honest what so ever. And Jason why do you lie when you told Shae that I have been calling you every day ? I have not called you since you sold me that piece of shit. One day you will wake up and get tired of losing money from my post and realize that it will save you hundreds of thousands of dollars that these will cause you to lose if you just take care of me. I am not going to go away until you take care of me and start treating your other costumers right. I mean all of them. Even if you take care of me and i see that you are still treating other people wrong, then my post will start back up. Anyway, there was a bunch of other things Jason did that was totally wrong. I will be paying them little by little. Jason if you finally want to get smart about this call Shae and get my number. Tell her to call me also to let me know you will be calling. Throughout it all, I appreciated that Jeremy was knowledgeable, no-bs, patient, and responsive. I never had to communicate with the dealer at all, until I showed up at the dealership for my test drive, where the salesman had all the paperwork ready to go. From test drive arrival to leaving the dealer with my new car, it only took 2 hours, which feels pretty efficient. I don't really understand how Jeremy gets paid because he didn't charge me for anything, but I'm so glad I found him.

He also scheduled all the test drives, negotiated the prices, and pointed us to a specific person at the dealership, a complete VIP experience. He did the same for our friends just this week, they bought a great car in a great condition, he negotiated the price down and steered them away from less desirable options. My friend was nervous (just like I was before ) because the process of buying a car is stressful. But after they got into the dealership and the car was waiting for them, they test drove and bought the car. My friend said: who would have thought that I can enjoy buying a car! And that's all thanks to Jeremy. Believe me I'm not hyping him up, he is professional, kind and customer centric. Thank you Jeremy!
