    I needed a car. I found one online and to get prices, i submitted my email. The next morning I got a call from the Car Store asking if I was interested in the car. As i had just had a bad experience driving an hour and a half away for a car and upon getting there finding out that they closed early, I was not keen to driving out to San Jose if it wasn't serious. Upon telling this story I was told the best news ever, that they were willing to bring the car out to me for test drives and would even let me rent it for a few days if i needed to. They came to my complex and we signed papers on the hood! As far as their partnerships with the banks on loans, they were all over making sure that if one bank didn't work, they would find me one that did and they nailed it on the first try. They were super nice and great to work with! 5 stars!

    A great used car shopping experience. Saw ads for a minivan we're interested in on Craigslist and eBay. A little searching brought me to the dealer's website, where I found a great discription of the minivan and dozens of photos. Made the trip to San Leandro and was hesitant as the dealership is an old gas station that shares its building with several service shops. And the collection of cars was a big jumble. But the salesman, Marcin Witko, was fantastic. He showed us the minivan and explained its history, then walked away so that we could explore and discuss the features. When I said I wanted to come back in a few days to take the car for an independent inspection, he encouraged me to just leave our car with him and take the minivan. When we returned with the minivan, we told Marcin that we decided not to purchase the minivan because it was missing a few parts and was due for some new tires, which are very expensive. And the wife was reluctant to give up her "wonderful" Camry. His reaction was sadness and disappointment. But he politely discussed the Out the Door price and said that he'd work with us about the new tires. And the Out the Door figures had no "junk fees"! When he returned our car, he had his crew wash and wipe it down! The wife and I really appreciated Marcin's low key sales approach after we dealing with salesmen at Dublin Honda and Dublin Toyota.

    I picked up a Mercedes 500E from Shane in April 2013. The car was pretty much what was advertised. Shane and his crew were quick and efficient. The cars are decent to good quality. No playing games. Very honest and trust worthy. I would definitely pass there info along to a prospective buyer.

    My family needed a extra car we just recently bought a brand new one but needed an additional decent car due to my new job and having to travel around. We looked everywhere and it seemed every dealer wanted to take "advantage" which is sadly the norm. We came across "the car store" we told the car sales man we had a certain amount to put down and needed a decent car, he didn't hesitate and understood what the family needed and was very willing to help! We drove off in a clean 2005 Camry! with a great monthly payment! If you need a decent car and a trust worthy dealership do come here they are the best hands down!

Both experiences were delightful, stress free (who would associate stress-free when you buy a car?) and quick. No hassle car buying - that should be his business's title. He helped us narrow down the list of cars we were looking at and make a decision that worked for us. He also scheduled all the test drives, negotiated the prices, and pointed us to a specific person at the dealership, a complete VIP experience. He did the same for our friends just this week, they bought a great car in a great condition, he negotiated the price down and steered them away from less desirable options. My friend was nervous (just like I was before ) because the process of buying a car is stressful. But after they got into the dealership and the car was waiting for them, they test drove and bought the car. My friend said: who would have thought that I can enjoy buying a car! I always had a fabulous relationship with my service advisor there, but when they closed I started going to the Infiniti on the corner of Tully and E. Capitol. It was fine, but quite inconvenient due to location. I needed my car serviced and thought it was time to change back to Stevens Creek. When I found out that Infiniti moved to the Capitol Auto Mall, I decided to give them one more shot. Thank goodness I did! My service advisor was (and hopefully will always be) Bryan Hather. He was able to not only figure out my car's issues, but make sure they were fixed. I never felt "up sold" and completely trusted him with my car and money. He is the reason I am staying with this company. Not only was he efficient, but interacting with him was enjoyable. Finally I felt seen as a person by a dealership and not just a walking credit card number. If you need a service advisor for your Infiniti, go with Bryan H.- you will not regret it! But, in a market where cars are in high demand, supply is drastically low, and are selling for $10k+ over MSRP... thats as good as it gets. We were referred to Arkady through a friend. Hubby has a long history in retail sales, so the car buying experience has always been... eventful, as everyone knows. But now with 2 toddlers in tow, we weren't able to dedicate the months-long research, wheeling and dealing, and multiple dealership trips all over the Bay Area to get what we wanted. So we decided to give Arkady a try. We told Arkady what we wanted. SPECIFICALLY what we wanted. Down to the T. A brand new Platinum Highlander Hybrid in Pearly White. A special order color, in a very sought after trim level and combination. Arkady looked and found us a few, but we weren't ready yet. So we waited. And the aftermath of COVID was in full affect. The dreaded chip shortage. Dealer lots were empty, cars were being bought up like no other, and the market is now flooded with buyers willing to pay top dollar from a supply pool that would disappear with a sneeze. Unfortunately for us, we just couldn't afford to battle with ballers, so we waited, hoping Arkady could find us a deal. Luckily, Arkady was able to place us an order with the Toyota Factory for our specific car, in our specific trim. We waited a few weeks, putting our trust in Arkady, and we finally got the call. The vehicle had landed and was ready for us. Everything we wanted, as we had requested. Even in this market, he was able to get us below the MSRP, which is absolutely mind blowing. He promised, and delivered in spades. His cost of service is worth its weight in gold. The process was painless. He was prompt with his communication and was always straight forward. On delivery day, we met at his office and spent no more than 15 minutes doing paperwork.... to buy a car... that was tailor made to our specification.... at a deal we were more than happy with... We cannot emphasize at how valuable his services were to us, and our family thanks him greatly. Remember the kids? They didn't even have time to even THINK about throwing a tantrum before they were buckled up in the new car and we were on our way. Arkady runs a no-joke, no-frills, get-it-done business. In the last six months, I've purchased both a 2026 Tucson Hybrid Limited and a 2026 Ioniq 5 Limited here. Stephen Fitch was an exceptional sales consultant. As a 74-year-old who has purchased over 35 vehicles, I've seen every dealership trick in the book. Stephen was a breath of fresh air--patient, knowledgeable, and zero-pressure. I especially appreciated that there were no 'required' add-ons like paint sealant or fabric protection marked up over the MSRP. I was able to negotiate fairly, utilize dealer incentives, and secure Hyundai rebates that saved me significant money. Danielle Torres made the paperwork a breeze. She presented warranty and service options informatively, but remained professional and pleasant when I declined. A huge plus: she scanned everything and sent it as a PDF rather than handing me a heavy stack of paper--perfect for my electronic filing system.     I've been meaning to write this review for awhile now…read more 2011 Hyundai Elantra. We had issues with the car in 2021 (within the 10 year warranty). The car was shaking, so we brought it to Capitol Hyundai. They replaced some coils under warranty. Next year (outside warranty), the same issue. They said we needed a new engine ($8k). I'm no detective, but that sounds like they put a bandaid on it that lasted long enough to make sure it went past the warranty period. Why ever buy a Hyundai again if the local dealership does shady things so they don't have to honor the warranty. What's a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty worth if it's not honored. We were already in the market for a new car at the time...an Elantra Hyundai. Good price and lots of features. So they made $8k in the very short term. Lost out on $25k+ in the near term. Lost out on all future maintenance and repairs. All that money went to Toyota Sunnyvale instead. Currently, we've been looking at new vehicles to replace a 2014 Mazda, so they lost out on $40k+ and the subsequent maintenance and repairs. Yeah, we're those people who go to the dealerships for maintenance despite the high prices because of peace of mind. The only way we'd ever entertain buying Hyundai again is if they refunded us back the $8k and the money we spent on a rental car while waiting for the engine replacement to be installed.
