Exceeded my expectations. Sherwood and his team did a fantastic job and made it easy when it came to making decisions on tile and countertop options. I would give a big ZERO star if I could! Delayed work for three weeks instead of for a just two-day work, excuses for delaying. I have never felt being pushed to a corner that I had to take big loss of my rental income and They kept saying they were not responsible for my loss. I had the worst experiences and feelings when I exchanged emails with the manager. I would never use any of their services and glad did not give my whole kitchen remodeling to them. read more

Tragic. My homeowners hired them so I had no choice. Chemo,COVID then flu. The stress took me down! I was always there and probably throwing up in bathroom. They threaten me to pull down my first review or they would not come back. Boy when I added the new pictures that got their attention immediately with in minutes I got a text!Recommended I go through my insurance to fix the mistakes! 949-244-1033 if anybody wants to drop by and see for themselves. I'm in Dana Point. Got the harassing texts from them not taking ownership of shoddy work. Got all the info and Texts Fortunately I've saved. Feel free to come by and see for yourself. read more

A slab leak ended up causing a total gut of kitchen/living area in my condo. After the plumber/mitigation company, Cap Edge was assigned for reconstruction. I am a total lay person in this area, I did not choose them, so I had my doubts about this being done to my expectations. It took almost 6 months, but led by the project manager, Selena, I am blown away by the results. She coordinated all the subcontractors and helped keep me from going nuts. She kept in constant contact with me giving updates and times workers would arrive. She always listened to me about the extra things I wanted. Shout outs to Mark and his cabinet work, Lorin and the countertops. Rafael's crew did outstanding work, as did the all around handyman, Sergio. All of the subs were outstanding and very professional. I now have a modern, up to date kitchen/ living area. Thank you, CAP EDGE. read more

We were referred to Capital Edge by our remediation company. Murphy answered on the first ring and we promptly set up an appointment. He came over, surveyed the damage, and wrote up his estimate which we received a couple of days later. Murphy was so helpful during the insurance process and he made sure that they covered the whole estimate. Thank you Murphy!!! We waited about 4.5 months for the insurance to come through and finally we were ready to start. Frank was our Project Manager. Let me tell you, he is a dream to work with. He is fantastic at answering and returning calls or texts within minutes. Frank is so good at answering calls, I've added him as one of my emergency contacts. He came over a couple times a week to check the progress, called or texted almost every day to let me know what was going on and who would be coming over and even sent me videos of the progress when I was out of state for a month. He's professional, very nice, sweet and wants to get the job done!!! The crew was amazing. Their workmanship and craftsmanship is unparalleled. They did such a great job and we are very happy with how everything turned out. Shout out to Auggi the foreman and resident bulldog. He runs a tight ship. Santos for cabinets, Miguel for tile, Eduardo for countertops, and Victor and Ramon for all the little details. I would 10/10 recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel their home or anyone who has experienced a loss. They know what they're doing and their company is a well oiled machine. We can't wait to work with Frank and his crew again. We have some projects coming up in the future and they will be our first call. read more

We had a slab leak in our kitchen and we're completely lost as far as what we should do next. I was referred to Murphy and Capital Edge from a fellow mom on my city's FB moms page- where a few other ladies also suggested we call him on the original referral post. Murphy was so quick in getting back to me that day- which was the day before he was to be married, that is how responsive he was. He met with me a few days later and it was a no brainer to go with he and the company. I was having a hard time with our insurance process and he assured me he could help and not to worry. Once we signed on we were assigned our project manager Frank. Frank was fricken awesome. We actually miss seeing him weekly since our project finished. He was great- easy to talk with, also extremely responsive, got stuff moving fast and was always keeping me in the loop with the timeframe. Murphy was amazing with our insurance and got us SO much more than they had originally projected to get us for the leak. All of the crews Capital Edge sent out were fantastic. Hugo was a demo machine and so so nice. Mark the cabinet maker was creating our dream kitchen by hand and knocked it out of the park. Darren and his flooring team gave us our dream floors and his tile guy did a meticulous job on our backsplash and new tile fireplace. Seriously there is not one aspect from beginning to end of the process that we would change in working with Capital Edge. We could not be any happier. I would LOVE to be able to use them again and highly, highly recommend them. Murphy, Frank and the rest of the crews were always very professional, trustworthy, On time and also very respectful. I am so glad I was referred to them because I don't think it could've been a better experience with any other company. Thank you to Murphy, Frank & Capital Edge! read more

Capital Edge Construction was recommended by my Insurance Co. to do my kitchen remodel after flood damage. They hired a Subcontractor called "Accurate Restoration" for the job on my home. The Contractor Joseph Lucero & Andrew were the most professional workers I've dealt with in the industry. They not only payed attention to detail they were experts in their field. Joseph made sure all my concerns were met. My home was transformed beautifully. They were always respectful & considerate to the hours in my schedule for repairs. They both did an excellent job & I could not recommend them highly enough. "Accurate Restoration" gained a customer for life .. I will always turn to them for the future needs of my home repairs. Our hot water heater failed causing a leak and major repairs needed to the walls and interior walls. We went back and forth with another company for MONTHS. I contacted capital edge AFTER another contractor trying to get an estimate for my insurance company - i wish i had contacted Capital edge FIRST . Mark Trejo was so much easier to work with! He was able to provide my insurance company with a very detailed accurate quote that they could understand which gave me a settlement so much faster than I would've gotten otherwise! Thank you Capital Edge Construction and Salena who worked with me. I had been working with a dishonest contractor. I was feeling like I had been lied to and was distrustful of what was going on. My insurance company brought In Sherwood to measure my sons condo that had been flooded, and he was straight arrow at getting the work done. He also noticed pipes that were rusted and dripping. I was very impressed. Sherwood worked for Capital Edge Construction. I told the original contractor I was done with them, and told them my reasons....luckily I had not signed a contract with them. Everything with Capital Edge went well. Everything was clear and upfront. The contract was signed. I could see exactly when amounts of money would be paid. I also knew when the different stages of work would take place. I was surprised to meet the young lady Salena, who was the crew manager for this job. Why not? She was amazing. When I had questions I would text her and she answered right away...even on weekends. She made suggestions on brand of paint, type of tiles, where to go to look at cabinets and lots more. She was fantastic! I had a lot on my plate and not sure I could have completed the job without her help. From beginning to end she was there and we had the final walk through. She even brought people in to clean the condo in the end which was not part of the job. So Murphy, Salena is a keeper. Oh, in addition the condo looks terrific!I highly recommend Capital Edge. read more

Flood repair on house I can't get any lower then no stars work was unprofessional, the workman were disrespectful, the work it self was very low standard in fact I told the the the work was mice mouse, sorry no pun to Mickey he got angry. Also they charged me for work they didn't do. Mr lucero was the project manager when I asked if they would be fair he said I quote. Hey we're here to make money. I have been Emailing to Mr cravens the owner and Mr.Cook trying to get the money back they did not earn. But they have been making me jump through hoops. I have tried several times to call them they don't call me back. Only email . I reviewed the estimate and saw all the discrepancies I was absolutely horrified. I had premium insurance but the put in the lowest grade they could. I am a senior citizen,I was in a hospital bed in my home recovering from heart surgery and a broke leg. They did offer credit for 700.00 but the amount runs in the thousands. They could come to my home and look at what wasn't done but they don't. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Murphy Cravens and Capital Edge. We had our first slab leak a few months ago and luckily someone recommended Murphy. He came out immediately and was extremely honest, forthright, and helpful. He walked us through the insurance process as well as giving us a realistic timeline of what our restoration would look like. His pricing was fair and he went out of his way to keep us informed each step of the way. Murphy was extremely patient with us, since we had never been through anything like this before, and answered all our questions, no matter how small or trivial they may have been. We had a complete kitchen remodel, as well as flooring throughout the house. Capital Edge was extremely helpful in guiding us through each phase, and Murphy constantly checked in with us to make sure we understood, and were in agreement as step was completed. He also had great suggestions and ideas as we were planning what our new kitchen would entail. We love our new kitchen and flooring so much... it is like coming into a new home. I cannot recommend Murphy and his team enough... I would definitely recommend him to everyone. We feel extremely fortunate we went with Capital Edge to make an initial big flooding mess turn in to our dream kitchen! read more
