I'm a woman with zero experience when it comes to home remodels. So when my 72-year-old mom needed her guest bathroom remodeled in her Mission Viejo home, I did a ton of research and interviewed several licensed contractors that were recommended by friends and neighbors. From the thorough, no-pressure in-home consult to the detailed estimate and contract he sent afterwards, Amin's expertise, warm personality, and responsiveness to our questions gave us the reassurance we needed to take the plunge and get started with our first remodel. My mom's house is around 30 years old. The tub/shower combo was original and started peeling in spots. The towel bar, vanity light, and other items were also original and needed to be replaced. My mom ended up doing a "full gut" and had Persi Homes replace everything, including the toilet, vanity and countertop, sink and faucet, vent fan, floor, etc. Amin answered all our questions and provided helpful suggestions during every phase of the project. As the Project Manager, he showed up several times a week to check the progress of the work, and he remained extremely friendly and responsive from start to finish. We always knew who was coming to the house on what day and what the next phase of the project was. From the demo guys to the tile guys and everyone in between, all the Persi Homes employees and subcontractors were polite, showed up on time, and worked extremely hard. They even cleaned up after themselves every day. Each City Inspection passed with flying colors, and Amin made sure my mom and I were 100% happy with every aspect of her bath remodel. Before this project, I was hesitant to undergo any remodels, especially after hearing horror stories of sketchy contractors from coworkers and friends over the years. But the Persi Homes crew was extremely professional, reliable, and easy to talk to. My mom is now the proud owner of a beautifully remodeled guest bathroom where the superior craftsmanship speaks for itself. From the new acrylic soaking tub and porcelain tiled shower combo, to her stunning quartz top vanity with soft-close drawers and perfectly cut tile flooring, her guest bathroom is not only more functional with more storage, but luxurious. It looks like something you'd see in a magazine. This smaller guest bathroom remodel was a "test project" to take Persi Homes for a test drive before my mom gets other remodel projects done. Persi Homes did a great job on my remodel. They remodeled our kitchen to include removing load bearing walls to open up the entire downstairs. The whole project took around 3 months and they did an outstanding job. There was great communication with Amin and we really feel like he understood what our vision was. Persi Homes was one of the four OC construction firms I contacted to receive a kitchen remodel quote. Quotes ranged anywhere from $42K to $120K to accomplish the same thing. The scope of my project was to turn my kitchen into an open concept kitchen with a big island that would house an induction range with a vent above it. This required the removal of two walls, raising the kitchen ceiling by removing a soffit and trenching the concrete to gain electricity for the island with the range. I had drawn up my own kitchen design to better communicate my vision. After discussing my design needs and wants with all the various construction companies I decided to move forward with Persi as they seemed to listen best to what my vision was for this kitchen remodel. I chose Persi mostly because I could connect with Amin who was my main contact throughout this construction. Amin was very patient; he listened to what I wanted but still managed to make suggestions for the better when it made sense. I also really liked how Persi set up the contract with minimal downpayment. Payment was solely required for each major step as it was completed. Once construction started, adding other additional projects to the original contract was a breeze. And best of all Persi stayed true to their initial quoted cost. The construction started on the agreed-upon date and all the jobs were done (even additional projects) in the time frame promised (4 to 5 weeks). Scheduling different crews for different tasks was done very well. The construction crews were always on time and courteous. As issues arose, as typically they do during construction, the crew was able to maneuver through them with ease. The crew, as well as Amin, demonstrated the ability to think outside of the box and address situations knowledgeably and creatively. In summary I am very pleased with the outcome of this kitchen renovation and would use Persi again for other home construction projects. read more

When purchased our house it looked great,the owners (sellers) were living in the property and we assumed that there will be a need for minimum modifications, so we contacted several contractors and they walked through the property and took notes of what we desired to modify. Some of them promised quick quotes by emails and some calculated on the spot and gave us estimates starting from $350k to 500k plus a %15-20 margin additional cost of material and labor with range of next day to 1 month starting after approval of contract, with %15 deposit to start and up to %50 when they order material. No guaranty for final touch ups and delivery , basically 6-8 months and up. We were asking our frinds about the security of the contracts and almost every one suggested " open end contract" is dangerous, finally a friend Reffered Persi Homes to us. We contacted them and after walking through our house and listening to our desires and thoughts they asked for 2 days review preparation of an estimate. On the second day we receive a call from them for an appointment, when they came to give us their offer, they made some very good suggestions and variety of options including reduced or extra cost of those changes( that we are so glad that we listened to them) after a day thinking with questions and answers we got a contract that was very close to our budget and estimated delivery day of 4 months with a week Extention for unseen situations( delayed material delivery, weather conditions and labor shortages). Honestly it looked kind of odd such a simple contract after so many complicated offers. So we talked to our friend and we asked his opinion, he told us" trust them" so we did. With some additional modifications (Re pipe) after 5 months we stepped into our dream house, it was totally different, during the construction we could not see what was happening there but when we had my daughter's baby shower party everyone was so surprised. Highly recommend using Persi for home construction or an entire remodeling. We wanted to redesign a space under our staircase for a TV and extra storage with access from garage and add ressese lights to our high sealing living room. Job was done within the time window promised in a very professional matter. During the work we had some issues with the machine dryer pipe both Amin and Hadi were very communicative, offered creative alternatives that fit our needs and budget. We hired Persi Homes for a major remodeling for our newly purchased home (demolishing, all flooring, all bathrooms, switching bath tub to standing shower, kitchen ceiling soffit removal amd redirecting ac duct, fireplace, soffit and wall removals, ....) .
