I'm a woman with zero experience when it comes to home remodels. So when my 72-year-old mom needed…read moreher guest bathroom remodeled in her Mission Viejo home, I did a ton of research and interviewed several licensed contractors that were recommended by friends and neighbors. Right off the bat, my mom and I felt the most comfortable with Amin (pronounced "Ah-mean") of Persi Homes. From the thorough, no-pressure in-home consult to the detailed estimate and contract he sent afterwards, Amin's expertise, warm personality, and responsiveness to our questions gave us the reassurance we needed to take the plunge and get started with our first remodel. My mom's house is around 30 years old. The tub/shower combo was original and started peeling in spots. The towel bar, vanity light, and other items were also original and needed to be replaced. My mom ended up doing a "full gut" and had Persi Homes replace everything, including the toilet, vanity and countertop, sink and faucet, vent fan, floor, etc. Amin answered all our questions and provided helpful suggestions during every phase of the project. As the Project Manager, he showed up several times a week to check the progress of the work, and he remained extremely friendly and responsive from start to finish. We always knew who was coming to the house on what day and what the next phase of the project was. From the demo guys to the tile guys and everyone in between, all the Persi Homes employees and subcontractors were polite, showed up on time, and worked extremely hard. They even cleaned up after themselves every day. Each City Inspection passed with flying colors, and Amin made sure my mom and I were 100% happy with every aspect of her bath remodel. Before this project, I was hesitant to undergo any remodels, especially after hearing horror stories of sketchy contractors from coworkers and friends over the years. But the Persi Homes crew was extremely professional, reliable, and easy to talk to. My mom is now the proud owner of a beautifully remodeled guest bathroom where the superior craftsmanship speaks for itself. From the new acrylic soaking tub and porcelain tiled shower combo, to her stunning quartz top vanity with soft-close drawers and perfectly cut tile flooring, her guest bathroom is not only more functional with more storage, but luxurious. It looks like something you'd see in a magazine. This smaller guest bathroom remodel was a "test project" to take Persi Homes for a test drive before my mom gets other remodel projects done. As a single gal who's just trying to help out her mom, Persi Homes was incredible to work with! We're so lucky to have found this company. My mom and I will definitely be using them again.

We cannot say enough good things about Ray and his team. What started as a big project turned into…read moresomething truly life-changing for our family. Our son uses a wheelchair, and before this renovation our home was honestly very difficult for him to navigate. We relied on temporary ramps and awkward workarounds just to get him in and out of the house. We wanted to make our home fully accessible, but we were worried it would end up looking institutional or awkward. Ray completely exceeded our expectations. He redesigned and rebuilt all of the concrete in both our front and backyard as well as the driveway, raising and adjusting the grades so everything is ADA compliant with smooth ramps and proper transitions. He also added new walkways that didn't exist before, making it possible for our son to easily access every door of our home. The most incredible part is that Ray managed to make everything functional without sacrificing the beauty or charm of our home. The ramps blend so naturally into the design that they honestly just look like part of a beautifully planned landscape. Instead of looking medical or industrial, the house actually looks even better than it did before. The project also included removing several very large trees, re-landscaping, and completely repainting the exterior of our home, which tied everything together perfectly. Ray was professional, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire process. His crew was friendly, respectful, hardworking, and efficient, and they kept everything very clean while working on such a large project. Most importantly, our son can now move around our home independently and comfortably. That alone means everything to our family. We are beyond grateful and highly recommend Ray to anyone looking for quality work, creative design, and a contractor who truly cares about the people he's helping.

I met Nelson through Yelp years ago when I needed one of my properties completely remodeled. Since the moment we met, he and his employees have always provided OUTSTANDING service and workmanship, with the highest moral compass toward my properties, my family and myself. Due to the excellent work provided on the original property, I have hired him numerous times since to do other small jobs and one other complete kitchen and bathroom remodel to a separate property. No surprises were had when all of the work that was completed was to the absolute highest quality. They were unwilling to extend the estimate through that process and also would not coordinate a reasonable anticipated start date. That leaves the customer investing time and money into plans without knowing what the project will ultimately cost or when construction can actually begin. I was prepared to move forward, but it's difficult to responsibly commit to a significant construction project without reasonable certainty on pricing or scheduling. Unfortunately, their lack of flexibility and coordination made me decide not to proceed.

He sent a rep out to measure and we got a very quick response with an estimate that was fair and with a quality window company. Once the windows came in, they were shipped directly to us and his crew showed up (early) on the set appointment date. They swapped out eight windows in less than seven hours and we could not be happier with the results. The new Milgard Tuscany windows are, of course double paned, and light years better than the 60+ year old single pane windows we had before. Of course they are going to help with temperature control but our house is only one street away from a freeway and the noise reduction is spectacular.
