If you want the covid jab pushed on you this is the place to go. If not, go anywhere else. I have been a patient for I would guess 10+ years. It's always been lovely until my most recent checkup earlier this week. Literally the first thing Dr. Corish asked me was if I have been vaccinated. I still am not sure how that is relevant to my eye sight. Anyway, he went into harassment mode saying I need to get it and asking why I wouldn't (I have natural immunity and was tested). He was asking about my parents and the fact they wont get the jab is more of a reason to get it. This went on for several minutes. it was incredibly uncomfortable and disgusting. Last year for my checkup he wasn't crazy, he treated me like a normal person, this time he was very condescending because of my jab status. Perhaps he should put on his website that he'll only see jabbed patients or perhaps, treats those differently who have natural immunity. I used to recommend this doctor but I will never be back and will be sharing this news to anyone and everyone who will listen. read more

I saw all the good reviews for Dr. Corish's office and decided to try him out as his office is close to where I live. And I have to say, the reviews are all true. From booking an appointment (Was a breeze) to being welcomed by the front office to Dr. Corish himself and to selecting my frames and glasses, the experience was all so pleasant. Dr. Corish is extremely nice and allowed me to ask any questions or express any concerns about my eyes. I did not feel rushed during my eye exam and time with him at all. Also, Dr corish's office has a pretty large selection of frames, more than enough for anyone to choose and find a style they like. I had the pleasure of working with robin in selecting my frames and glasses. She was so helpful in providing suggestions and feedback on which frames to select and how they looked. After trying over 20 frames, I was able to narrow down to 3, and then the front desk receptionist, tiffany was kind enough to jump in and offer her opinion and ultimately helped me narrow down to the frame I selected. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this optometry office and would recommend them to anyone. read more

I saw Dr. Corish for the first time today and this was the best optometrist appointment I've had. I've been seeing the same optometrist for the last 4 years (not Dr. Corish) and Dr. Corish was able to give me insight on how to improve my vision that no other Dr. has given to me. He noted that I could use reading glasses over my contact lenses when on the computer or reading, did a demo of that with me, and it's changed the way that I work/live. The entire staff was very friendly. The facility is up to date and very close to my work (Irvine). This was my first meeting with Dr. Fahmy. I hadn't realized that Dr.Corish had retired until Dr. Fahmy came into the exam room. I was very impressed with his services. However, I just realized his cost for contact measurements went from Dr. Corish's $70 to now $160 which only $14 is covered by insurance. That's a 129% increase! I guess I should have asked about rate changes before the exam started but it didn't occur to me as I prepared to read the letter board. Unfortunately, I'll be shopping around for another optometrist before my next eye exam. read more

From the moment you walk in to the office, you feel at ease, immediately being greeted by two very nice receptionists. Robin assisted me with my appointment, and there was no wait time! Today was one of those days when you feel like you should write a review for your eye doctor's office at 8 o'clock on a Monday morning! I broke my only pair of glasses over the weekend when I was trying to sleep in an international flight :( I drove straight to the office at 7, and asked Robin if I could get any help. Half an hour later, I exited the office with a new prescription and a new set of try on contact lenses (that fit much better than my old pair, courtesy of Dr. Corish himself), a brand new frame that perfectly fit my old lenses salvaged from the broken frame, and a choice of couple new frames that I wanted to show my wife to pick from - all courtesy of Robin. I have been seeing Dr. Corish since I was in 3rd grade (since 1980). Since it's 2012 and I still consider him the best eye doctor, that should say something. I have known this man as my eye doctor for 32 years and besides the fact that he doesn't seem to age, he is an amazing person and doctor. He has a wonderful, caring staff to match the same type of style that he has for his patients; wonderful and caring. He explains everything in way that you can understand and will always error on the side of caution, always with your best interests at the heart of every decision. When I went for my lasik surgery in 2001, he wanted my eyes to be the most healthy that they could be and made me wait until he was sure that I would have the highest level of success. He would only refer me to someone that he trusted and knew 100%. Needless to say, it's been 11 years since my Lasik and I am still seeing 20/20. I am so grateful to know Dr. Corish and his staff and would refer him (and have, more times than I can count) to anyone. read more

I LOVE Dr. Corish and his amazing staff!! They really go out of their way to offer great eye care and customer service. I first went to him way back when he was just starting out. I then saw another eye doctor or two during the years I moved away for college and a few years after. But I've come back to him now that I live in the area once again. My parents drive up from Fallbrook to see him and I have recommended other family and friends to him and they all rave about him. There is no waiting in this office (it's not an exaggeration). I'm always called into the exam room within minutes of my arrival so I barely have time to pick up a magazine. Once in the waiting room, Dr. Corish comes in within minutes. One time I did have to wait a few minutes (truly a *few* minutes) and he sincerely apologized for the wait. They respect your time and run a tight office so there is no wait time. Dr. Corish comes in greeting you by name. He talks with you about things you had said during previous appointments and asks questions about you and your family as if he truly cares about you, which I believe he does. I don't know whether he has an amazing memory or takes notes of what I've said and reads them before entering the exam room but I'm always impressed with him. He is so smart and knowledgeable about eye care and wants the best for his patients. I cannot recommend Dr. Corish's office enough. You will not be disappointed. read more

Doctor Corish is truly one in a million!! He is extremely kind and exemplifies true passion for what he does. Showing a genuine concern towards the well being of all his patients. I feel lucky to have found such an amazing optometrist and an overall great person. I had a major issue with my eye and needed to see a doctor right away. I found Dr. Corish here on Yelp and called to make an appointment. The staff is incredibly friendly and the receptionist made my appointment for the same day. Dr. Corish is professional, kind and gentle and didn't leave me waiting. I felt very comfortable in his care. He felt I needed surgery and referred me to another fantastic doctor, Dr. Kline, who also took wonderful care of me. Dr. Corish treated me like family! I can not possibly say enough about how awesome Dr. Corish and his staff are. Most of his staff have been there for over 25 years and even though I only come in once a year or two, they recognize and remember me. I have been a patient of his for over 30-years. They still have a letter my file that I wrote in Kindergarten saying I would take better care of my glasses. I moved to another state but come home to visit my parents, and I still have him is my primary Eye Doctor. When it's time to be fitted with glasses, they don't rush you. Robin will take the time to work with you until you find exactly what you're looking for. No sales pressure, no noisy distractions like at a mall shop, just a quiet and peaceful transaction. They open very early some days and they are open I think 1-Saturday per month. Had my first appt with the doctor today at 7:30 AM...from the minute I walked in the doctor greeted me with a smile and the office staff was so nice! I was looking for a new eye doctor because my teenager was going to need glasses for the first time and I wanted him to understand the process from a real doctor... Dr. Corish was so thorough and explained everything to both my son and I. He engaged my son on a personal level, I'm guessing to better understand his eyeglass usage but also to get to know him. For me, I have multiple issues with my eyes (stigmatism, contacts, ingrown eyelashes, need for bifocals, and a slight lazy eye) he addressed it all and helped me to understand my options! One of the things I loved about my appt was how willing and clear Dr Corish was about all of my questions and issues and he did not seemed rushed...he was there for my appt! Most times when you see an eye doctor at a doctors office and not a store front you do not get the wide selection of frames or the help needed to search for frames that look good, I'm happy to report Dr Corish's staff was great in this department and had an awesome selection for me and my son! Finally I was totally pleased with the pricing and the staffs approach in discussing the pricing! I am sure my insurance plan helped but the total pricing was very reasonable and affordable! If you are looking for a new eye doctor, call...they are pretty booked but it is totally worth the wait! read more

Hands down best eye doctor I have ever been to. I just moved to Irvine about a month ago and I moved to California from Boston 8 months ago. This is the first eye doctor I've been to and definitely the last. The service was outstanding and Dr. Corish is so passionate about his patients. He even told me if I ever have an eye problem that he would come in on his day off rather than me going to an emergency room. I've never had an eye doctor that I felt I actually needed to review, but I was so impressed with Dr. Corish I felt inspired to tell others about him. The receptionist even called and explained to me how to get my rebate on my contacts. It can be a very confusing process if you've never done it before. Ordering contacts was a breeze. I loved this guy, and his office staff. SO personable, and didnt try to sell you things you didnt need. I told him I bought contacts from 1-800-contacts and he was completely cool with that. Other places get uptight if you dont buy products from them. I really got lucky because on the first appt, I found someone that I could trust, considering I am new to California. Someone did write a review here saying that Dr. Corish is like a father...and I second that! Though the AC that was down that day in their office, it didnt matter. I highly recommend Dr. Corish, he is our family optometrist/opthamologist. I couldn't ask for a better doctor--he is highly attentive, spends time with patients, asks questions. Although I only see him once a year--he always remembers my name, who I am, and remembers my family. Honestly I will only see this doctor from now on I have had glasses sense I was an infant and I've gone through quite alot of terrible doctors not only was Mr corish very thorough with checking my eyes but he made me feel very comfortable and he definately knew how to make my eyes work the test he did really helped me understand the problem I have with my eyes and honestly it didn't even take him that long to figure out my prescription I was amazed he was very kind and didn't make me feel like my life was over because of how poor my vision is I really really enjoyed my visit the staff the doctor were all very kind and helpful and honestly deserve this rating they totally were a 5 star establishment good job guys!!!
