We hired them to pack and move all of our things. They did everything efficiently, the price was great, and everything was moved safely and neatly into our new home. Later we needed some help with our washer and dryer, and I had no idea who to turn to. Plumbers were too expensive, appliance experts would only do the hook up but refused to move the unit in order to hook up the unit. Then I called these guys back, and they were happy to do it at a very affordable rate. I also give extra props to Malcom, the customer service rep who answered the phones. Though we had some "hiccups" so-to-say with Can't Stop Moving, I'm happy to write an updated review based on how things were handled following my past review. Upon writing my past review I quickly received a phone call from the owner, Eric. He was very professional and handled things promptly and professionally. He apologized for the situation and took full responsibility. He then fully reimbursed us for the repairs we had to have done and even more than doubled what we had to pay for the repairs. He more than made up for everything that had happened. One thing specifically I think is worth mentioning is that the employee who the bad attitude is no longer working with them. Not because of my review but rather he had gotten "burnt out" on the job and left some time ago. I think anyone can understand how that is. The gentlemen at Can't Stop Moving were helpful and attendant from the start. I called a few days in advance of my tentatively planned move, desperately hoping they would have a time slot left for me. Sure enough, they were able to accommodate me, despite being slammed. They were very cheerful and polite on the phone, and even gave me some advice for intelligently shopping around for competitive quotes. Not deceptive or self-serving in the least. They called me three times during the day of the move to confirm the time, and even to ask if they could show up earlier than originally scheduled. But then there was a bit of a hiccup. Eric came around the corner to greet me, but his partner was missing. Eric explained that Alex sustained in injury in the job prior to mine. However, as a young, healthy male I suggested we could reach a compromise. I would assist in the labor and we can negotiate a new price (which, by the way, was already quoted as the most competitive of the moving companies I surveyed.) Eric apologized profusely but I insisted that this would be fine. Really, the only thing that kept me from moving myself was that very few pieces of furniture fit into a four door Sedan comfortably, and I lacked able bodied friends. So this worked out perfectly. Despite my amateur bumbling on my end of the furniture, Eric worked with enthusiasm and energy. We got everything down my apartment building's cramped elevator and staircase and into the truck, and back up into a room into a house. He even helped with odds-and-ends like arranging the furniture in the room once it got there. The whole time he seemed totally pleased to be helping, even though the circumstances were somewhat of a problem. He could have backed out at any time because of his partner's injury, but he didn't. It was the end of the day, he was visibly tired, but apparently nothing could stop him from completing the job. And to top it off, without me asking, he apologized again and then offered to discount the original quote since Alex was unable to make it. I started the search for moving services somewhat anxious, both about the quality of the work, and the price. My budget for things that I can almost do myself is very thin. But the guys at Can't Stop Moving do an excellent job. No dents or scuffs on the walls or furniture, and no rudeness of any kind. Exactly the opposite, in fact. They go well above and beyond the call of their work in customer service, and offer very competitive rates. I'm pretty well settled on giving these guys my business with my next move next year. read more

BEST. MOVING. EXPERIENCE. EVER. I have moved a zillion times, including New York City to Seattle moves, as well as within NYC moves. All of them were horrible in comparison to the service I got from CSM. I started my moving research by emailing several companies with good reviews... CSM was by far the lowest. They also provide a 10% discount for paying cash and have a yelp coupon for $100 of service for $50 bucks. They were very prompt with their email responses and always responded within 12 hours, if not sooner to all my emails. In addition, I wanted to use Eco-boxes which they provide. I got a lower quote from another eco-box company and they matched it (both price and rental time) to keep my business. That's awesome customer service right there. The box drop-off was easy peasy - they were able to accommodate whatever time and day I wanted. Also, originally they dropped off the wrong number of boxes but remedied the situation by bringing over the 5 missing boxes PLUS 5 extra for the inconvenience. Pick up was just as easy too. As a side note, there is no contract, no deposit - super simple. I will say that this made me nervous that they would not show up, charge me more, etc but that never happened and based on their reviews, I doubt it ever happens with them. The move itself was fantastic - I had a 3 man/truck team - they were super efficient and very very nice. PS - ladies, they were cute too. They kept me entertained during the move with chit chat and jokes which was awesome. In my new place, they were happy to move my furniture around to my liking even if it meant more work for them. They handled everything professionally and as one user mentioned, would trust these dudes to move my grandma. Nothing was broken, cost was spot-on, and will definitely recommend them to my friends. You really should hire "Can't Stop Moving" for your next move. It was a breeze working with these guys. I quickly got a response when I requested services and got the date I wanted. They arrived promptly at the appointment time. I gave them a tour of the house, what needed to go, what was delicate, etc. And they went to work! We were moving a 3-bed townhouse to a 3-bed house, so it was quite a bit of things. They completed the job in 4 hours flat. I'm giving them 4 stars since, though they were awesome, there were some dings and scratches on the walls in the stairwell. I can't blame them too much, as the stairs are on the tight side and some of the furniture was bulky, but I also know that we were able to avoid it ourselves when we originally moved it. Moving sucks, but these guys made a lot better than it could have been. I used these guys for a move from Seattle to the Bay Area. Right from the start, the customer service was excellent. They were very fair on the price and, unlike the national moving companies, they gave me an exact pick up and delivery date just two days apart. United and Atlas both gave me 2 - 15 day delivery windows! Three guys worked extremely hard to pack our house, and got it done faster than I thought. Believe the hype. These guys are the real deal and I couldn't have been happier with my recent move with Can't Stop Moving. These guys were fast, responsive, careful and took attention to detail. We had a fairly big/complicated move and CSM made it seem like a breeze. We moved a 3400 sqft home with lots of fragile pieces to a condo and storage unit. Nothing was broken or damaged. Fantastic company to work with, from start to finish. John, the Manager, called me back within minutes of my email, and gave me other recommendations for movers in the area because they weren't available. Because of that thoughtful phone call, I changed my moving date so I could use them. YJ (Young John) and Brennan showed up on time, even texting to give me one hour notice before their arrival time. They were both friendly, professional, and courteous. Throughout the move they were diligent, conscientious, and considerate - and communicated well! They helped with thinking through each piece of my antique furniture that needed to be carefully moved, and did it all swiftly and diligently. Strong too! Some of those pieces were extremely heavy and up a flight of stairs, and they handled it no problem. At the end, they went over the hours worked and the payment total, easily and efficiently. There was a problem with my bank releasing the funds, so they waited patiently without complaint, and without charging me (an extra 45 minutes of waiting!) and in the end followed me to my bank for the payment. Can't Stop Moving provided the best moving experience I have had yet. I never had movers show up on time (and this was no exception) but unlike my past experiences these guys actually called me and told me they would be 10 minutes late. Once they showed up everything went smoothly. These guys were serious about getting everything moved and fast! Between loads I would see them sprinting to get back up stairs to grab more things. They were even able to easily maneuver out a large couch that barely fit in the apartment when I moved in. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the job Can't Stop Moving did. They did an excellent job with our move last week. Although their quote was slightly higher than other companies, it was well worth it, as they provided superb service. I had to push back my move date by one month because our house wasn't done renovating, and they were super accommodating about the situation. Greg, YT and Mike showed up right on time. Everything was already boxed and they got straight to work. They wrapped all the furniture with care in our small condo and everything arrived in great condition swiftly. These guys are amazing. My husband & I used them to move within Seattle and can't say enough nice things. We had very little furniture, a lot of boxes & suitcases. AMAZING! They were friendly, but not in a scary hey-are-you-living-here-alone type way. Courteous, but not ass kissing or smarmy. Careful. And honestly, they did NOT stop moving. It was one of the first hot days of the year. I have stuff hanging out of boxes. I have a death trap of a basement. These guys did the job in an hour less than the time Eric quoted me. And it's because they moved FAST. They literally ran sometimes. I'm terrible with names (if you read this and drop me a note I'll correct them!) but I think it was Dwight and Jessie and a third unknown hero who actually negotiated a ton of my stuff out of the basement, sacrificing his head on a light bulb for the cause. Sold my house super fast. Had to find a mover and quick. Called around on a recommendation got a hold of Eric at Can't Stop Moving. I l'll start with the good first. They squeezed me in at the last minute. They even had a to rent a truck to accommodate me. I started packing two days before they arrived but was still packing when they showed up. I was moving from Seattle to Leavenworth and couldn't accompany them on the trip due to other obligations. We ended up filling up the first truck so they had to get another truck, then we filled that truck and had to get a third smaller truck. They started to help me pack just so they could get on the road. There was no rhyme or reason to their packing or what went where and nothing they packed got labeled. When they arrived at my property in Leavenworth (with me not there) they began to unload the boxes wherever they could get them to fit. So I ended up with upstairs house stuff downstairs, downstairs stuff upstairs, house stuff in the garage and garage stuff in the house. I was going to be packed in boxes for 25 days while a massive remodel occurred. They had packed my medication into a box that looked like the other 50 boxes and could have been anywhere. It took me three days and having to rip through every box until I found it 3 boxes down in the corner of my garage out in the blistering cold. I will take some of the blame for that for not being there when they unpacked. The main problem is that several items came up missing and were never found. There were also a couple of missing items. I called Eric and he was sympathetic and responsive and promised to do something for me. I wasn't asking for much. And he had also provided me a pretty good deal. (This is why he got the 4 stars) but then Eric disappeared, didn't call me back, didn't help me with the missing items and the broken items (nothing serious, mind you) and after several phone attempts and even an email attempt I never heard from him again. Even if he had called to tell me to pound sand I wouldn't be leaving any review at all. This really is more a service email to customers. Pack all your stuff before they get there. Go to the next house to watch stuff get unpacked, no matter what. I really appreciated what they did for me and the good job they did on the time constraint. They lose one star for never getting back to me on the promise to help me out to some small degree on the stuff that never turned up. read more

This was my first experience hiring a mover, and I couldn't be happier! Moving without having to rent a cargo van/truck and bribing my family and friends to do it for me? So worth it. To be honest, I was initially going to hire a different company to do my move, but the owner was injured and couldn't do it, so he referred me to Can't Stop Moving (and am SO SO SO SO SO SO glad he did!) I was very impressed with the level of service from my first few emails with Alex. He replied literally within minutes, and after answering some of my questions, I booked my move. Super friendly and accommodating-- he even offered to deliver ecoboxes to my home for free if I needed them! What a guy. On the day of my move, CSM called me at 8:58 am (two minutes before my appointment) to ask where they could park. They were ready to roll! They came in to my apartment, took a quick look around, and loaded everything WITHIN 40 minutes tops. WOWWW. I was blown away. Everything was unloaded into my new apartment at 10:30am. ONE HOUR AND A HALF, PEOPLE!! 90 MINUTES! That's all it took! Amazing. They were fast and were careful with all of my belongings, and even set up my computer desk that needed to be taken apart for the move. Such a friendly professional team. Plus, they were affordable! I never realized a moving company could be so refreshing to work with. I needed a large (7' x 21" x 41"), solid wood entertainment cabinet moved from my house to that of a friend. The cabinet was so large that it wouldn't fit down the stairs from the main floor to the entry level. In fact, the movers who originally brought it into the house had to get a small forklift to lift it from the entry to the main level and three (big) guys then pulled it over a pony wall. As it was so heavy, getting it up was a lot easier than bringing it down. When the three guys arrived on moving day, they evaluated the configuration of the hallway, stairs and entry, realized the project would be more difficult than expected and that they would need more manpower. We arranged a date for them to return. On the day they came back (with FIVE guys), they did a lot a brainstorming and decided the best way to take it out would be over the deck railing and 15' to the sidewalk below. They carefully wrapped the solid mahogany cabinet in moving blankets and also taped it to make sure it was fully protected. They moved our large grill and outdoor furniture off of the deck, then lowered the cabinet over the railing with a system of ropes. They then moved our grill and furniture back. I was very impressed with their ingenuity, problem solving and enthusiasm. Other guys would have given up. These guys were very persistent and confident that they would make it work no matter what. And they were right. Everyone on the team was extremely personable, each had a sense of humor (which they needed) and I could tell they enjoyed working with each other. Even with the degree of difficulty involved, they stuck to their original estimate of $200 but I gave them a $50 tip for being so diligent, hardworking and willing to come back. These guys deserve all the success they get because they work hard to earn it. I hope they can keep the unique personality of their company alive as they grow. I'm grateful they took on the job of moving only one item for me and look forward to using them again for a larger one. read more

These guys were awesome from beginning to finish. First of all, they are very responsive to emails and answered my many questions. Second, their pricing is very reasonable, $130/hour for 3 guys, 2 hours minimum + 15 minute increments, billed from the time they arrive at your front door, end when they put down the last item. No gas, no other surcharges, they bring the truck, dolly, blankets, etc. The guys who showed up were as nice and polite as can be, they were friendly and very focused, they did not talk about anything that wasn't directly related to the task at hand. They were much more careful with my furniture than I would've been. A lot of the move was tricky, with narrow steep stairs and railings, but not a peep of complaint. They were creative and careful. The weather was no entirely cooperative, it was drizzling here and there, so they put down their many moving blankets on the floor to avoid tracking in dirt. They were really strong too, I was amazed. I had about 90-100 items including furniture from a 1 bedroom, the new place was about 15 minutes away driving. The whole move took 3 hours. It was the best money I ever spent, I had the energy to just relax, not frentic like moves usually go. read more

I can't say enough good things about these guys! We had a 3 man team for our 1 bedroom move from Renton to Belltown. We were quoted about 3 hours, with about a 45min drive time from Ballard to Renton. It only ended up taking an hour and a half to actually move our stuff, so it only cost like half of what they quoted me! The guys (we had Shawn, Josh, and John) were super polite and definitely on time. They were super fast but careful with our stuff, too. We liked them we much that we even took the guys for breakfast afterwards as a thank you. :) You can't go wrong with these guys. Previous rave reviews convinced me to go with CSM. They did not disappoint. In fact, they are as awesome as others have claimed. Malcolm responded to my inquiry quickly, asking all the necessary questions to ensure an accurate estimate and the appropriate number of men. A date and time was set. We exchanged confirmation emails. Malcolm even called to confirm. On the move date, the crew called to advise when they'd arrive at our home. Load up was efficient. The men were friendly. CSM is the by far the best moving company I've used, and I've used many moving companies. I only needed my sofa moved, but I could tell these movers were pros. The stairwell in my building is small and my sofa is large, so careful maneuvering was required. John and Rob were nice, professional, and early. Can't Stop Moving moved our daughter from Edmonds, WA to New Braunfels, TX. Nothing was damaged and the guys were really great. So, we decided to use them moving from Olympia, WA to San Marcos TX. As with our daughter the guys were great, worked hard, and careful. When we arrived and started to unpack our stuff, we did find a couple issues but after I called, they were so good to take care of our issues and very responsive. I can't thank them enough and would use them again without hesitation. Things happen during a move than cannot be controlled and understanding this is important. Day of move and 30 minutes late, Jensen, Ryan, and Kyle arrived and didn't mess around. They moved two loads across town without a hitch. Friendly, careful and hard working. I highly recommend Can't Stop Moving. Moving day I was ready to give them 5 stars. I found out at 6pm Saturday (day of move) that if I paid in cash I'd save 10%. They didn't mention this until it was too late to hit the bank. I could have saved $110 and would've done it. So I called their office and paid with my VISA. I was told I'd have a receipt in a day or two. It took a few phone calls, and emails to finally get a generic hand-written receipt a month later. Hence the 4 stars. read more

SERIOUSLY impressed with these guys! My move was... complicated, to say the least. We'd originally signed a lease to start in mid-July only to be thwarted by a squatter, of all things. Everyone I called to re-schedule utility start dates laughed, but Can't Stop Moving said "No problem!" I was able to reschedule my move date just 5 days out from the original planned day with no rescheduling fees at all. Malcom with Customer Service was a dream to work with. We (finally) successfully moved today, and I have to say that Dan and his crew were FANTASTIC. They did the move from Seattle to Redmond in 2 hours, and the guys were crazy efficient. I felt so bad that I didn't have my glasses unpacked to offer them anything to drink -- it was crazy hot today and they somehow didn't let the heat get to them. We used Can't Stop Moving for a move from Sammamish to Walla Walla. Our movers were Yurri, Brandon, and YJ. I can't begin to tell you how hard they worked, and with smiles on their faces! They had to pick up items from three locations and deliver items to three storage units. Some of the pieces were unusually large and heavy. They had such a positive attitude about everything! Also we hadn't packed our storage units very well, so they repacked them to be able to fit all of the items. Our furniture was wrapped really well. They had great advice on the use of their packing blankets. They were extremely careful and respectful of our furniture and home. Super nice guys!!! As far as the cost, I have to say they don't charge enough for what they do! The guys worked a full eight hours for two days. They also had to drive back and forth from Seattle to Walla Walla. We had them pack boxes as well. We paid a little over $4000. I certainly feel like we got a good deal. We will be calling to use them again when our home is finished being built in Walla Walla!!! No one enjoys moving. It is about the suckiest chore ever. There was a time, when I was literally moving every 6 months. I'd exhausted my resources of friends, pizzas and beer. My home is filled with fragile antiques and family heirlooms - so moving can be really stressful for everyone! The last move was in the winter. There were flurries beginning to fall and the boys at Can't Stop Moving not only showed up on time, but happy! Eric and his helper had my entire 1 bedroom (1000 square foot) home loaded onto the truck within two hours and wouldn't hear of allowing me to help! (Yay for me!) These guys don't slow down! They are quick, affable and take an interest in the needs of their clients. They noticed my snake...we chatted reptiles. They saw my cello...we talked about music. They saw the speargun...and asked about spearfishing, all while getting me settled. Before leaving, they put together my bed, helped me set up the fishtank and ensured that everything was in its spot. I've never had a "happy" move, let alone a pleasant move until this one! . The whole transition took only 3.5 hours - no friendships were tested, not one scratch, not one dent, nothing was broken! Best of all, it was completely stress free! I am actually writing the review! And like I said, it would be a good one. Having moved so many times and a few of those times with pro movers, you'd think I would know better about the moving process. But I choose to repeat the same behaviors while expecting a different outcome each time. That means I still did not 1) sort and discard/donate a lot of my stuff, 2) organize by room, 3) thoroughly prep for the move. I did, however, email and call to schedule a date and time. This changed a couple times but they always confirmed without a problem after the initial delay in responding (because they were out of town..?). The 3 guys showed up on time almost to the exact minute. That was a great start. They were extremely personable and went nonstop once I showed them the mess. The only kink in this operation was the scheduler underestimating how long it would take (2-3 hrs) even though I requested 4+ hrs in a subsequent email. And it became a big-ish deal because they had booked another job immediately after the 2.5 hrs scheduled for me. I guess the next customer wasn't too happy about that, hence this review to maybe offset a possible negative one... In any case, Ryan & team were really great. I highly recommend these guys and would definitely use them again (maybe in a long distance move out of state). These guys were fantastic. I had the advantage of getting them before moving season got way too busy, so they were able to come check out our place and do a free estimate. Our mistake was in telling them to quote us w/ all the boxable stuff all done, taken care of by myself and hubby... yeah, that SO didn't happen! Despite that, they were able to work with our inefficient and sloppy preparation and get the bulk of our stuff to the new digs making really good time. They were also inexpensive and game to do an incredibly annoying hoist of our massive Queen sleeper sofa, which just barely didn't fit in our elevator or stairwell. When we moved in we had had to pay a piano mover guy like $350 to do it, which suuuucked. These guys just brought in one more member to the crew for 20 minutes, and charged us a very reasonable extra $75. We were moving to a brand new house that we LOVED, which had pale cream carpeting and nice hardwood floors. I wrote in my initial query that we would gladly tip them ridiculously well if they were kind to the surfaces in our new home, since as first-time non-renters we actually cared if they messed it up, haha. And they were, and we did! They also give a discount if you pay your bill in cash, which we were happy to do -- that just meant even more tip $ for them. I was totally thrilled with our experience with them -- I don't think they were the very cheapest in the book, but they did a way better job than prior movers and I feel like we got the quality (and charmingly Boston-accented) service we paid for. read more

Business owners really seem to care about their business and they reached out and did what they could to resolve the issue. Seemed like decent enough fellows with a small business and doing everything they can to grow it. They let me know the next time I need to move to let them know it was me and that they would make sure they would give me the typical service that as from what you can see on the other reviews is 5 Stars. All my stuff still works and I haven't really thought about the experience. I thought this post was gone - otherwise I would have updated it a while ago. Give them a try - I think chances are you will hit that 5 Star experience - if not communicate with them and they will get back to you with a reasonable solution. read more

These guys were SO incredible! They completed my move from Seattle to Portland in only a little more than half a day. They were prompt and considerate, and handled my stuff with great care. And the cherry on top - they ended up costing several hundred less than I expected. I would absolutely recommend Can't Stop Moving. read more
