They took about 1 hour to move an organized small studio and just under 2 hours to move my lesser organized 1 BR. The bulk our time was spent at our new building which required more travel time between the truck and the unit. These guys were optimal and had excellent strategizing and problem solving across all three buildings (which were all different). We had a challenging move from downtown S.F. to Berkeley, to a house that is in the middle of multiple construction projects. Yet they made everything feel easy. I had gotten food poisoning the day before and we were stressing because we hadn't yet finished packing. But it was no problem--they loaded the truck with the items that were ready to go while we packed the rest. Make sure to ask for Joseph and his team (Fernando and Victor). They arrived a little early so they'd be ready and were the utmost professional while also being a warm and friendly team of guys. We would have them over dinner any time. Because of Joseph I'm now convinced that moving is both an art and an athletic feat. We had a recliner (100lbs) and a treadmill (200lbs) that were too wide to go through a doorway--and yet he maneuvered them effortlessly through without a scratch on either.

I gave furniture list - 3 hutches, 2 buffet and 2 ikea billy bookcases and he tried to tell me it would be 4 movers and 4 hours of work. My 67 year old mother comes over to help me move these things and i am a 5'6 lady here. We are not big burly people. BUT YOU NEED 4 MOVERS AND $1200? He asked what i thought the job should be. I said 2 guys or even one. I CAN HELP. I just didn't have a truck or an extra human. The furniture would be outside and we would travel 3.8 miles across town to where this needed to go. Up a freight elevator to a storage unit. You can wipe my behind with $1200. I will hike these things on my back and carry them. Hang up on someone else you rude man.

Our move involved three separate stops, starting in San Francisco's Richmond District, then going to the Sunset District, and finally ending in Daly City. Both the first and final locations required them to carry items up and down a flight of stairs. Even with the multiple stops and added stair work, the entire move was completed in right around three hours. The three movers were incredibly quick, efficient, and well coordinated. They clearly knew exactly what they were doing and worked together seamlessly without even needing much communication. They stayed focused the entire time and did not take any breaks besides the driving time between stops. We had quite a bit to move, including multiple couches, computer desks, coffee tables, dining furniture, bookshelves, a dresser, a 75-inch TV, a fireplace/TV mantel, a treadmill walking pad, a queen mattress and bed frame, and roughly 25 large 27-gallon storage bins/boxes between the different locations. They carefully wrapped our furniture and handled disassembly and reassembly of all items at the final destination exactly where we wanted them. This made the move-in process much easier for us.
