We had some random stuff in bags from when we ran out of boxes, which they proceeded to pack into boxes of their own (and unpack on the other end!), making sure there was no unnecessary work left over for us. Prior to the recent emergency, she was living independently with a friend. The friend is a male and is also elderly. He is a bit of a hoarder and it is now no longer safe for her to be living with him there. Brian and Jacob with Moving with Grace helped us move her out of the hoarder house and into her own apartment at an assisted living facility. The friend knew we were coming with movers at 0830 to move the furniture out. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer. It was so quiet, I thought the house was empty. So, we enter the house and they guys get right to work. Shortly after they had started wrapping up the furniture, the friend, walks out of the bathroom in a night dress!! So weird and creepy considering he knew we were coming. And very mortifying. The house itself is very filthy and disgusting. There is thick dust and clumps of cat hair everywhere!!
