We were only moving furniture locally (about 20 mins from point A to point B), but we didn't want to deal with moving our furniture they were very fast and efficient! Seven Bridges has moved me twice now, and they're absolute professionals. All my furniture was carefully wrapped and protected, and nothing was damaged during transit. Adrian and Jorge literally rolled out the red carpet to avoid scratching the floors in my new place. They even moved a fragile terrarium by wrapping it tightly to the cabinet. I called 3 highly rated moving companies and read reviews on each from Yelp, Next Door and Google. I then chose Seven Bridges based on the professionalism of the owner (Matt) and the patience and time he showed me. He made every effort to ascertain my needs, to go over every detail of the estimate and to keep it as clear and affordable as possible. He did not try to oversell me on things I didn't need at all. By the time we were done, I felt very secure with my choice. Furthermore, I was able to contact the owner easily when I called (at least 3 other times after the initial call). The 2 workers arrived on the correct day within the hour window given (around 20 mins in), and both were very polite, pleasant, kind, fast and efficient. They were loaded up and ready to go within 1 and 1/3 hours (1 bedroom apt - fully furnished). They reached my new home soon after I arrived and unloaded everything and placed items where I asked and they were done unloading within 40mins at the most. The charge was at the lower end of the quote, as the owner had told me he thought it might be. I have moved many, many times in my life - both 2bedroom houses and 1 bdr. apts. We interviewed six moving companies for a shipment of furniture from Concord to Clayton. Matt at Seven Bridges was the most professional, least pushy, and most thorough in his explanation of their service and deliverables. They were the only company who gave us a "Not To Exceed" estimate. Come the agreed upon day, the crew was on time and courteous. They worked hard wrapping our furniture carefully and loading it into their truck. The day was HOT and these two never let down their efforts. The truck was unloaded in the same careful manner. I will start off by saying I am 8 and a half months pregnant and have been dreading moving! Thankfully I found Seven Bridges Moving! From the first contact to the last hand shake everything was a smooth and an easy process. Matt the owner was prompt in answering all questions and returning calls in a timely manor. Valentino and Romeo (the movers) showed up on time and ready to work! They moved everything efficiently and made sure our items were safe and protected. The move quote was within the ball park of average cost for a local move. 3 movers and a large truck were provided for the estimated move for a 2 story house pack up to a 2 story house unload. Everything boxed was moved to the garage to save time with loading. Leaving 2 adjustable beds, a desk, and a faux fireplace that needed to be dismantled and loaded. The movers arrived close to the designated start time. The estimated time to pack up the truck took longer by an hour, despite all the boxes being in the garage and ready to go. When they got to the new house, they started out quickly unloading. Unfortunately, there was damage found on the faux fireplace I've had since 2017. I immediately contacted the business owner. He wanted me to send pics, which I did. Then he said he would need to file a claim, and because we opted in for the basic insurance coverage, the reimbursement would not be much. He also needed "before" pics . So just a heads up, take really good photos of your furniture before the move, and opt for the insurance that will pay for damages in the value of furniture. My only other disappointment was when the movers were clearly finished, there was a bit of lag time as the son was on a phone call. I watched the clock, and what the son decided to record as the "end time" was after he completed his call. So my suggestion is to really stay on top of the recorded start and stop time. I had to move my 87 yr old mom out of her home because the stairs built into a hill, got to be too much for her. Thus moving furniture was going to be a challenge, especially things built back in the day when furniture was built to last - meaning very heavy! Add that to newer furniture like an adjustable bed (super heavy) and fragile furniture like a huge china cabinet and you have a situation that demands moving experts! Seven Bridges made moving simple and stress free! I was super worried about hiring a moving company to move us to our new home in Monterey. Would my furniture get damaged? What about my super heavy items like my treadmill and Peloton? How much would it cost, etc. I'm sure anyone preparing for a major move can relate! Well, one phone call to Matt at Seven Bridges and I instantly knew everything was going to okay!! Matt was beyond professional. He has obviously been in the business a while since he was so knowledgeable! I sent in a quote request via Yelp (thanks fellow yelpers for the recommendation!) and heard back from Matt quickly. Next step was a phone call consultation where he walked me through all the furniture we'd need to move room by room in order to get the most accurate quote (Seven Bridges is the only company that did this, and I got quotes from 3 other companies - the others just gave me random estimates with little information to justify the cost). After spending a while discussing the specifics of my move with Matt, I knew I could trust him and his movers to do a great job, and they certainly "delivered" (haha pun intended, sorry for my dorky sense of humor). The best part of working with Seven Bridges was their ability to help me with a last minute snaffu which effected my move in date. Matt was able accommodate a new move in dlay and totally saved the day!! Of course I can't promise they could always be this flexible but I was (and still am) incredibly thankful for their ability to make a last minute change when I needed them to. Thanks, guys! I hired Seven Bridges Moving for my cross-town move. I needed about twelve very large pieces of furniture moved including a baby-grand piano. Seven Bridges advertises themselves as specialists in piano moving and they are located nearby in Martinez so I gave them a call. I had also called two other movers who only moved pianos and all of the quotes I got were in the $450 to $500 range for the piano alone. Matt, who I believe is the owner of Seven Bridges, gave me the option of doing what he called a half-day move which is a 4-hour minimum hire at $700. They would move everything they could within that time window. On the appointed day three fast and friendly movers - Rubin, Jose and Glenn, showed up in a large truck. They loaded up their truck with my piano, king bed, two other beds and other items and then unloaded and reassembled everything in the new house in just under 4 hours. So for $700 plus tips Seven Bridges moved not just my piano but about a dozen other large items, what a bargain! I did not need small items packed and moved so I cannot comment on their ability to handle this aspect of a move but Seven Bridges was outstanding moving my piano and other heavy and bulky furniture.
