Danny and his partner were great for our San Francisco condo move. They showed up promptly 30 minutes early. And they were very efficient while careful with the boxes and desks. Clearly experienced at navigating multi-floor condo buildings. Our new home has 3 floors. I especially appreciated how they took care to drop each box off at the desired floor and stacked them nearly to reduce space. Price was also the best out of all the other options I had evaluated for our small move. Great value overall. Fantastic moving experience! From the initial quote & conversation with Daniel to scheduling, to move day. Jake and team arrived on time at 8am fully equipped and ready for our move 65 miles out. They worked with incredible efficiency while taking great care of our belongings. We were worried about the disassembly and reassembly of our king adjustable bed because of the connecting two twin XL bases...easy peasy! They handled two flights of stairs effortlessly and made sure every piece of furniture was placed in its requested location before leaving. Smooth, stress-free process. THIS IS LIBELOUS I became an attorney in 1975. In 1978, 3 years later, I was listed in the book "Who's Who in American Law". Unheard of at 28 years old. Some years later I was one of the last few people being considered to be Director of Bar Examinations by the State Bar of California. I consented to, and passed, an extremely rigorous background check conducted by RETIRED FBI AGENTS. His response is absolute lie after absolute lie. I NEVER said a word to his workers about his wife. An utter lie. They never said a word to me about anything I said, because I didn't say anything. A heinous lie. Saying that I offered her shots of vodka is a despicable lie. I gave her an unopened bottle at the beginning of the move and I NEVER SAW IT AGAIN. I DON'T OWN ANY MORE VODKA. This is a really reprehensible lie. She never came back to my place twice. She stayed after the move and helped me organize some things, for which I said I was grateful, as I am old and not well. I did not call her many times. Another lie. His wife wrote on my paper calendar on the September 4 page ''Emily will be here at 10:00 am" and wrote down her phone number. I had a curtain rod that needed to be screwed into the wall. That's it. She said that she would help me put it up. When she didn't arrive at 10:00am as promised I called her. She said that she would be late because she had to go to Pittsburg because the movers had left something in the truck. Apparently this is a common practice with then, as when they left the old place they left dollies in my garage. I had to flag them down and give them my garage door opener so they could go get them. She showed up 3 HOURS late. I NEVER SAID ANYTHING TO HER THAT WAS CRUEL, MEAN, NASTY, OR INAPPROPRIATE, AND I NEVER WOULD. What I said was that I was upset because I was told that it would take 2 hours to get out of the old place and it took DOUBLE and the move cost higher than the high estimate. I said they were the slowest movers I ever used. All factual statements. NOTHING directed at her personally. Suddenly she just started crying. Tears streaming down her face. I was watching someone have some type of mental breakdown before my eyes. Scary. He wrote about how I treat hard working people and women. THIS IS DEFAMATORY. He knows absolutely nothing about me. Did he know that I represented 613 Vietnam veterans for free in the Agent Orange class action litigation in Federal court and spent over $25,000 of my own money and asked for nothing in return? The vast majority of my clients were hard working people and I often cut my fees or did free legal work for them. Did you know I was an unpaid legal advisor to a local women's shelter. Please put in writing the specific facts you know about how I mistreated women and others. I had a 50 year unblemished legal career and never had a malpractice claim or State Bar complaint in my life. He is lashing out because his movers were slow and bad. For him to take time to research my 16 year of Yelp reviews is really twisted. How about my over 30 5 star reviews? My many 3 and 4 star reviews. I never took advantage of anyone. You are attacking an honorable, ethical elderly person because you got a bad review. Again, please state with specificity exactly what I did to mistreat hard working people and women. You are out over your skis, Danny. By the way, I have never used the name Dick", as you wrote. If you don't like a truthful, honest review that's too bad, not "to" bad as you wrote to me. Your guys were slow and inefficient. I have used movers for over 40 years. Never saw anything so slow. They took TWICE AS LONG as your own employee said it would and longer than the high end of your estimate. Writing on the paper I signed that the high end of the estimate was $1,000 was a lie. No one ever mentioned $1,000 to me. Ever. To say that I offered his wife vodka shots when i gave her my vodka as a gift, to say that I said things about her I never said, to say that I mistreat hard working people, and especially women, is DEFAMATION. He has never met me and knows NOTHING ABOUT ME. To defame someone with an unblemished, pristine long career is just sick. It is also LIBEL. I will be notifying Yelp. You got a bad review. Deal with it. Don't attack the messenger because you don't like the message. Show your guys how to use hand trucks. Every other mover used them. OCD Movers just completed a small move for me, taking a couple of pieces of furniture from my house and delivering them to our storage locker. These were older pieces of furniture of great sentimental value, and I wanted to be sure that they were handled with care. Jayson call me the night before the move to go over the details to make sure that he had all of the necessary information. Jake and his crew did a fantastic job, accommodating our needs, packing both trucks to the brim like tetris, working long hours for two days. They really were troopers for putting up with the well tank going on the fritz on one of the hottest days we've had up here, so no flushing toilet, and no swamp cooler for several hours, while they were unpacking furniture and boxes. Our family moved out of state in the middle of June and we were a total disaster the day the guys arrived. They were all so kind and patient and helpful during a very stressful and emotional time. If you are searching for a mover in the Bay Area by looking at reviews, stop now, these guys are the best. I hired them to move my furniture from Richmond to Hercules at the beginning of November. The crew, Chris, Aaron and Milton were extremely careful, on time, weren't slackers, and were highly professional. Daniel, the owner, responded quickly when I first contacted him. I texted him sone photos of what had to be moved and he was able to schedule a date and give me an estimate very quickly. They were very polite and extremely helpful and upbeat. They didn't complain about anything, even when I asked them to move a couple of heavy potted plants. When we got to my new place, Chris was even nice enough to level the ground under where I wanted one of the plants, so it wasn't on a slant. I also have an antique brass bed that had to be disassembled and they had no problem taking that apart and putting it back together at the new house. I would use them again in a heartbeat if I needed moving services again. I thought pricing was extremely reasonable too and they even did the job quicker than they quoted so I was charged less than the estimate. You well be very satisfied and glad you hired these guys. I used OCD a in 2024 to empty a house and deliver to a storage unit a few hours away; I was impressed. The crew worked non-stop and got it done rather fast with no problems-stayed in contact with me, etc. The price came in a little lower than the original estimate. Everything was explained up front with no hidden fees or surprises. Great experience. This year, I tried to find movers for my house out of state, (Buh Bye California!) and learned a-lot about brokers, third party movers etc. Brokers are expensive and you don't know what you're getting with them and third party movers. Then I remembered OCD. Gave them a call, and BAM! Done. No lay overs, stopping to pick up other loads and waiting for weeks for my property to get delivered. The pricing was much better than going through a broker or a third party mover. They sent 5 guys to finish packing what we couldn't, and they did did a great job! I had a meticulously mounted fish and they made a box for it and packed it gently and well. They wrapped and packed everything with care, and were not sloppy or reckless about it. I appreciated that. They made the two day drive, staying in contact with me the entire time, and unloaded the fully packed truck, not really taking any breaks. (We bought them lunch).
