Bought my car in for detailing. They did a fabulous job. Even went the extra mile to secure the weather stripping between my windows, funny license plate, and did a quick bumper touch up. I've so many compliments since I got it back read more

It is an amazing feeling to experience straight talk, honesty, integrity, accountability and caring from a business and it's owner in 2019. Say X and do X and deliver not on time but early was the outcome in dealing with the awesome and super Paul and his company, Cannon Collision in Hicksville, Long Island NY about 26 miles east of NYC. Mom got into an auto accident with another driver coming into her lane and damaging the right front of her baby, her peppy mobile, her 2001 Honda Accord with 63,758 miles on it. I figured the car is done being 18 years young. So went out and got the 7 Series in the Ultimate Driving Machine, the BayerischeMotorenWerke for her and the services of a driver to take her anywhere. The gentleman quit after 3 hours and 40 minutes. Mom made it very clear that she was used to and very comfortable with her original vehicle and that the new wheels were a bit much. Hence, the new purchase with 241 miles on it sits in a garage in Gramercy Park in Manhattan. Started the process with the Insurance co. Adjustor Mike came out and loved the car stating current value $3780, repair estimate $1540. Got jerked around by a collision place in Westbury that was recommended - they kept the car for 17 days and did not do squat or even try. I called Paul. Great vibe, sounded like a straight shooter on the phone. Jose, his stellar employee came out to the house and towed the car( not drive able). The adjustor Mike came back as he had low balled. Then he called me to tell me that the car was a total loss and that they could" help me out" by reimbursing me the salvage value of $500 by signing the car over/selling to the Insurance Co. Mike and his coworker Jean from Claims had just attempted to graduate from the class" How to talk out of every crevice in my body'. Paul jumped on the phone in my presence and with my authorization spoke with Jean, talked the talk like her in her language and negotiated the fair reimbursement to ensure that the car that the Adjustor Mike loved was repairable with not a dime from my pocket. Loved it!!! This was on a Tuesday. The car was fixed and looked as good as new in 7 days. Paul fixed everything. Solid, stand up guy and stand up company!! I hope and pray no one gets into an accident. In the event you do and there is repair required, call Cannon Collision and speak with Paul. Mom is over the moon!! Thank you Cannon Collision. Grateful!! read more

We brought our truck here after getting hit in a grocery store parking lot after a recommendation from a friend. I dealt mostly with Paul and he made this the easiest process I've ever gone through. Not only was our truck in perfect condition when we picked up, the timeline was exactly what he said it would be and he kept us in the loop the entire time. I will be recommending Cannon Collision to everyone I know. Thank you Paul & the entire team! read more

My neighbors hit my parked car. After months of trying to find someone to fix my car who I can trust, and who can make the process smooth, I found Cannon Collision. Paul was nothing short of honest, fast and kind. He even helped me get a rental car. Can't recommend them enough! And my car looks brand new! read more

So this was my first experience at Cannon and cannot say enough at how amazing our experience was. Joe, Paul & Chris were fantastic! They handled everything from the extensive repair of the car, dealing with the insurance company and even reserving the rental car. The car was repaired beautifully, looking better then prior to the accident, and so quickly. We picked up the car and they even returned the rental car for us. I highly recommend them for all your car repairs and we will not be going anywhere else. Thank you Cannon! read more

Despite what other people say I was quite impressed with this cannon Collision company. The owner Paul and his staff including Oscar and others did an amazing job cleaning d smelling waxing and detailing my car. I thought my car was beyond helpless as I have 3 kids and they made a huge mess in it., however they did such an amazing job I was blown away. The location may be hard to find but it was very easy and convenient for me as it is located in Hicksville right behind the Ford dealership. I would highly recommend this company as they are very diligent with their work, and take pride in their craftsmanship. #cannoncollision read more

I came in to have my car's rear quarter panel and side door repaired. Paul, my sales rep, quoted me a price and promised a 5 day turnaround. With the amount of work needed I was bit skeptical. As promised, I arrived 5 days later to find a perfect job and a detailed car. The leather was conditioned, floors clean, and miscellaneous scratches removed. I was never told this was part of the service and was pleasantly surprised. Oh I should also mention I was $100 short and Paul approved the price adjustment and sent me on my way. I'll be going back again but this time I'll be bringing in my show car for some major bodywork. I would highly recommend Cannon and Paul. Don't let the poor rating fool you as the only 2 low ratings were for detailing service. I'm confident that was addressed and corrected. Give them a try you will not be disappointed. read more

I was called when my car was finish with its detailing work and told the associate that I was on my way. Upon arrival, I found the storefront's door locked with my car-keys locked inside. I tried calling the business but got no answer and was told from the neighboring business that all employees had left even though the phone associate knew that I was on my way. I was given no warning and was forced to leave my car on their lot overnight. Horrible communication! Horrible service! Horrible experience! read more

My company has a fleet of vehicles, and I have brought 5 of them to Cannon for a variety of incidents related to accidents. The reason for returning time and again is the very good quality that is done by Paul and his staff. The last car I picked up yesterday looked beautiful (the whole back door had been dented in). They did such a great job repairing it. The cars are always very clean and shiny when I pick them up. They take very good care of the cars, and it's always good to find a good quality shop that lives up to their reputation. Many thanks! Barbara S. read more

Called in about a defective headlight on my vehicle, I was there 20 minutes later. Told them my problem when I arrived, they looked at it, checked to see if they had the part and then replaced it all within 20 minutes time there. Very good experience at this place in and out at a reasonable price I'd gladly go back. FYI- the place is cash only located a few minutes from Bank of America and Chase ATMs, go there beforehand if you don't have any on you. read more

Wow, really impressed with the Cannon Collision guys, called for appointment for a car detailing and went on a monday, asked if possible the car to be ready around 2pm, they said they'll try and if ready they'll call me, car was ready at 2:30pm, perfect timing, and they really did an amazing job, very professional service, car looks showroom shining quality, they even went beyond what I expected, they restored the headlights lenses to crystal clear, got rid of most of the light scratches and even touch up some ugly spots. Money well spent! read more

The service was professional and prompt. I dropped my car in the morning, around 9am and picked up by 3pm. Just the time as promised. The place is located behind a Ford car dealer and close distance from Ikea Hicksville and the Broadway Mall. So, you can stay local while the car is done. Got a groupon deal. I would recommend setting an appointment by email first and explain everything you want done in the car. Thumbs up! Talk with Paul. read more

I'm just so impressed start to finish, all I can say is wow and thank you! I needed deep dents and scratches on my rear fender and door fixed, and they did an amazing job - meticulous and neat. They even finished faster than projected and on top of that delivered a fully detailed car in and out, which totally hadn't expected. What a nice touch! My car never looked better in 3 years since the first day of picking it up from the dealer. read more

We were torn to where to bring the car in after some damage to the front driver side door. Everywhere we took it for an estimate seemed, sketchy or uncertain of what they were doing. One place even said they may not be able to match the paint. We found Paul and Cannon Collision in Hicksville. Tucked away but a gem of a place. Brought the car in and met with Paul. He was kind, which is always a fantastic way to start with someone in any type of automotive situation. He looked at the car, and made us feel at ease. I knew right then that this was the place to have the car fixed. He was extremely open with scheduling and made life easy for us. When I came back with the car, Paul sat with me and went through the entire process of calling this incident into our insurance. He made that process so much less painful that it could have been. Left the car with him, came back when it was ready...and wow. They do a great job there. As you can see from photos, it is like it never happened and the paint...it matched, perfectly. Kind and professional is what you can expect from this shop. If you have damage needed to be fixed on your automobile, bring it to Paul at Cannon. It is worth your drive over if you are far and its worth the short trip if you are close! read more

John and his crew are great! I've gotten to know him over this past year and recently my car started stalling so I brought it in and they had it diagnosed and fixed within a day. It ended up being a sensor but some other body shops could have easily blamed it on much bigger/more expensive things. John and his team are fair and will give you the "no BS" treatment. I am so appreciative that I am posting this on all of his review sites to spread the word, which is something I don't normally do. read more

I cannot thank Paul enough for replacing my passenger side mirror. I went to my dealership and they told me the whole component needed to be replaced when really it was just the mirror. He saved me hundreds of dollars... all because the dealership thought they could get away with having me replace the whole thing! Not only that, but Paul was extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area and know where I need to go for any problems in the futre regarding my car. Thank you Paul and Cannon Collision! read more

Without a doubt the best body shop around. They do great work and are always very professional. I've had work done by Cannon multiple times and my car looks brand new every time. I will definitely be bringing my car to them for any future auto body needs. I had a cracked bumper, scratched mirror and dented fender from a hit-and-run while my car was parked. Cannon did a perfect repair and even helped me set up the insurance claim while I was there. Everything was set up ahead of time and there were no surprises at all. Exactly how an auto repair should be, smooth and easy. I just dropped off my car once the insurance claim was set up and picked it up when it was finished and looking good as new. No surprises, no hidden fees, no up-selling added repairs and no nonsense. Needless to say, I highly recommend Cannon. read more

Our car was involved in an accident recently, and the damage was extensive. Having no experience whatsoever with collision companies, we consulted our mechanic and asked for his opinion. He immediately recommended Cannon, and told us that they did wonderful work. He also told us to ask for Paul. I contacted Paul immediately, because we were concerned about the safety of the vehicle. Our insurance carrier wanted us to use their repair shop, but I had a hunch that we should choose one of our own. After meeting with Paul and discussing the amount of work that we could expect, we sat with him in his office and discussed approximate length of time for how long the vehicle would be tied up. Because it would have been lengthy, Paul offered to contact a few rental companies for us. I was impressed, to say the least. Paul was understanding, soft spoken, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful during a time when we didn't know if we were in the market for a new car, or if we were just repairing it. Paul assured us that the car would be repaired and would look better than ever. He was right. I don't think the car has looked this good since it drove out of the lot from the dealership, years ago. Believe me, the car was in rough shape when we brought it in. The insurance company even totaled it out, but we opted to have the entire vehicle fixed. Paul was good to his word; he fixed every last thing that was wrong with it. "Thorough" is his middle name. I am incredibly happy with the work that Paul and the guys at Cannon Collision performed on my car. He was right about how long the car would be tied up, and on the promised date, the car was ready. I'm very happy with the work, and if you should ever have the misfortune of needing vehicular repair, Cannon Collision is the place to go! read more

Never go here for any kind of service. I called on Sunday to see if my car could be detailed on Monday before buying a groupon. The person working (who seemed nice, and competant...) made an "appointment" for me to go in Monday morning. I called back later and left a message saying I would need to bring my car in Monday afternoon, and if they needed to keep it until Tuesday for this reason, that would be fine. When I arrived Monday, during normal business hours, there was no one present in the building at all. I finally left my car with someone working out back. Tuesday: nothing. The woman who works there called me Wednesday afternoon and said they needed an extra day and my car would be ready Thursday "late morning." I said, "Okay, so tomorrow?" She said, "Oh, is tomorrow Thursday? Okay, yes then." She legitimately did not know the day of the week halfway through the day. Thursday I arrived at 4:30 PM to pick up my car. The door says they are open until 5, but no one was there and the shop was closed and locked. I could see my car (hopefully clean...ish?) but not access it. The worst part of all this is that I was supposed to sell my car at a dealership tonight and had an appointment to do so, but now I don't have my car and I'm going out of town for the weekend. They have kept my car for more than 4 days, even though I have paid them. I called the shop to leave a message, understandably upset. The woman called me back and when I said I was there at 4:30 called me a liar over the phone and hung up on me. I applied for a refund from groupon, which they supplied. This was a really terrible experience and I advise you to avoid this place at all costs! read more

Awesome shop, took my car (which every other place turned away) and completely overhauled the front end for me. They literally cut and weld a new front end onto my car after an accident. The car was pretty much totaled but here I am driving it today because of these guys. Great price too considering what was done to the car! read more

I had avoided an accident but ended up running over the curve and it destroyed my car underneath on the driver's side. This happened right before I had to hand in my lease. Paul took great care of me...he got the quote done and started the work right away. I had also mentioned if he could take off these panels on the door that avoided another car in a parking spot to damage the door instead and he did. I also had some scratch in the back looked like someone keyed it a bit and he also fixed that. All in all, I was very happy with the results it looked great and the lease company shouldn't be calling me about any problems. The inside was also fully cleaned and polished. I would definitely recommend going to Cannon Collision. They know what the lease companies are looking for and they will fix your car exactly as if it was brand new again...what more could you ask for? Thanks again Paul! Not going anywhere for future claims then here. read more

I definitely recommend Cannon Collision. Definitely ask for Paul, he's great! And the work done on my car was perfect. From the rental to the paperwork and phone calls, Cannon handled it all. I couldn't ask for a more thorough and pleasant experience. read more

I bought a red 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT 392, and wanted white, triple side stripes painted onto the vehicle. Several problems: (1) Dodge would only do hood stripes on an SRT; (2) Dodge uses decals, and would not paint on the stripes, and; (3) Dodge would not do triple stripes of varying size. A very close friend highly recommended Cannon Collision. My friend was a Service Manager for a local auto dealer, and had referred many cars and vans to Cannon for detail and body work during well over a decade. WELL, I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED. Cannon Collision did exceptional work exactly the way I wanted it. I was very exacting in what I wanted (thickness and length of stripes, orientation, style of SRT lettering, etc.), and they were equally immaculate about every detail. Also, they asked for my approval at every step, by taking photos of the taped mock-up, and emailing them to me. It was clear that they wanted to provide me with precisely what I had envisioned. And their level of professionalism was unsurpassed. I have dealt with numerous body shops over the years, and most had come across with a "take-it-or-leave-it" attitude. Not so with Cannon Collision. They aim to please, and recognize that your money is paying their salary. They are perfectionists from the word "Go". Two thumbs up for Cannon Collision of Hicksville for their incredible proficiency and work ethic! read more
