Very professional and the car came out great. Though it took a little longer than expected.

HONEST and reliable community minded business. Oliver is a gem.The quality of their work is outstanding.

We needed an auto body shop to repair some damage to both sides of our 2013 Toyota Rav4....both sides of our car needed to be repainted......Conti Auto Body was highly recommended on a local family FB page......Am I glad we came to CONTI......We dealt with a gentleman of gentlemen, Allie.....We just got back our car.....ABSOLUTELY like new......they even gave the car a full detailing , inside and out , and buffed out the haze on the front headlights before giving us back the car.......the entire process from drop off , to Conti arranging for an insurance reimbursed Enterprise rental, to drop off, the entire process was SEAMLESS.....the "paint job" looks just as good as the original......"VERY" highly recommended...... read more

Have to say Ali and Oliver are the best along with Kim and the rest of the staff at Conti Auto. Brought my car to them a number of times and this last time was because I accidentally hit a pole and damaged my front driver side bumper. They fixed it and was ready to pay them but they refused. If you have to bring your car in for some type of body work, Conti is the place to go and you will be beyond satisfied! Lois F. read more

Price quoted was fair, was completed on time, and done perfectly. Couldn't ask for better.

I have been using Conti over the past 15 years-from top to bottom no comparison-these are artisans - the absolute best in their field. Highly recommend Oh and by the way I have worked in the car business 16 years-trust me true quality- Joel Grant-The Sign & Drive Auto Group read more

The only place I trust to properly repair my cars for the past 25+ years. Their work is tops! Do t go anywhere else!

A few weeks ago I drove over a divider in a parking lot and ripped the rubber cowling underneath my front bumper. I asked several friends where I should go for repair, and both recommended Conte Auto Body. I met with Allie and he gave me options of..REPLACE parts big bucks, or REPAIR less bucks. I opted for repair and dropped off my car on Thursday morning, and got a call from Allie later in the day that the car was fixed. I asked Allie what did I owe him, and he said "Don't Worry". When went to pick up the car and asked for the bill, I was flabbergated to learn that I had a $0 (ZERO) ballance, and a great repair. I heartily recommend going to CONTE AUTO BODY for your next auto body epar.--Ray Mosteiro, Melville NY read more

Conti body is the only place I go to for auto body repairs. they are professional, and top quality is something I expect. Conti has provided my family many years of excellent service. I only go to places who provide excellent service and are pleasant to work with. The finish and color matching is equal to or better than the original auto manufacturing. I've moved out of the local area and will gladly travel to Conti. I usually deal with Allie who is a pleasure to work with. read more

This is a company that has provided outstanding service over many years to my family and friends whom I have referred to Conti. their finished product is always amazing - taking a car that's been in an accident and making it better than new. Oliver and Ali counsel me and my referrals to remove the anxieties that accompany traumatic experiences that are consistent with accidents. I know this sounds over the top as a recommendation, but I've experienced their excellence consistently. read more

Highly recommend this place. Brought car in for windstorm damage and they were able to fix it. Took a little longer than I had hoped but when I got it back, the entire car looked brand new !! Minus the road burns on alloy wheels (from curb and Belgium blocks)! read more

Always our go to place for auto body repair and tow. Quick, professional and efficient. The work has always been done to our satisfaction. I normally don't recommend a businesses for fear of being disappointed. But Conti's consistently has done what they needed to do to make everyone I ever referred happy. Allie and the staff are top notch. read more

This is a review that I didn't think I would ever write, but I am happy I'm doing so because it's hard to find companies with good staff who make you feel comfortable with a tow. I unfortunately got into a car accident the other day on the Long Island Expressway. All parties were ok and thankfully no one was injured at all! I needed a tow and Conti was the closest to where the accident took place. The tow arrived super quickly. Richie, the tow operator, was super chill and made me even less anxious after a pretty scary situation. I had to wait for my husband for a bit to grab a lot of the baby's stuff out of the car (thankfully my son wasn't in the car at the time of the accident) and Richie was totally cool with waiting. He also explained very well the next steps with insurance and how to go about getting access to the car if needed. We are still in the process of getting everything situated with insurance, but I couldn't help but describe my tow situation. I've had awful experiences prior too, and what could have been just as bad was the exact opposite. read more

I like sharing good news so here's some for people who may end up needing a body shop in the future. I can't recommend Conti in Syosset enough. They've done large jobs and small jobs for myself and my family and are always courteous and return a car that looks better every time. This most recent was a big deal for me, but for them, small and charged me what almost seemed like I was robbing them! I just wanted to share a positive should you need it. read more

My dad is Erlin Salgado he's the best :). Tell him his daughter said hiii also very nice ppl very friendly

Helped prep my car for lease return same day. Made car look like new. Very reasonable. Will be my go to for all car needs.

Lights out the best body shop in NY. Very nice friendly staff. Top notch work. Highly recommended.

My car was hit while parked at my friends house. Conti had a towing service that was available right away within 30 minutes my car was towed to their shop (On a Sunday). They work conveniently with an enterprise, and I was able to get a rental the next day. My car took 4 weeks to get fixed and once I received my car back my car was in perfect condition. I can't help but say my car is driving better now than how it was before I was hit. I would highly recommend this shop. In addition to the great work they do on cars, their communication was quick and professional. I would never consider bringing my car to another shop if needing to do work on it. read more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! 1000000/10!!! My car had got hit and I called Conti's and they were awesome! They were at the crash site in 10mins!! They repaired my car and it looked like new!! No Stars!!! Everyone is Always So Nice and Helpful in the Beginning but Once They Get Your Business Their Service Goes Quickly Downhill... After Giving Me the Run Around and Constantly Lying to Me for 6 Weeks Telling Me that My Car Would be "Fixed" after a Freak Accident...They "Magically" Decided that it Would be Considered a Total... They Should have Told Me that Right Away and Saved Us All a Lot of Aggravation...I Had to Pay Two Weeks Out of Pocket for a Loaner Car after the Initial 30 Days (Insurance) were Up... Good for them that They are too Busy to Work on a Car and Leave it Sitting for 6 Weeks...Very Unprofessional and I will be Taking My Business Elsewhere...They are Not Very Nice read more

My car was badly damaged in a 6-car accident at 10am on a Sunday. Although Conti was closed, Richie came quickly and towed mine and other cars involved. The next day, he and his colleagues couldn't have been more helpful as we waited for my insurance company's verdict. They even organized a rental car for us via Enterprise, and at the price my insurance company was willing to pay, even though the Enterprise website said there were no cars available. Sadly our car was judged to be totaled and the Conti staff were super accommodating as we came to their yard to empty it. So it's a pleasure to thank the staff for their help and advice, and to recommend their services to anyone who needs them. read more

I took my beloved Sharona to Conti after some inconsiderate dirt bag backed into her in a parking lot and didn't leave a note. They took care of her and she came out better than ever! While word of mouth says these guys do great work, their customer service leaves me thinking otherwise. In 2009 I went to them for a quote on repainting a rear bumper of a 2006 Honda Accord, very standard and common car with two dime sized indentations on the rear bumper from a rear end accident. The dime sized indentations were the other car's license plate holding bolts. Not a significant accident. Conti quoted me approximately $1200 to replace the bumper. A complete overkill repair and rip-off quote. For reference, a respray of an existing bumper with minimal repairs should be in the $400 range. A cheap queens/chinatown bumper respray will be in the $300 range. An expensive dealership respray will be in the $800 range. Due to great word of mouth reviews, several years later in 2013 I went back again with a 2008 BMW 5 series for a similar quote for a damaged rear bumper with light scuff marks due to an accident. I have some experience with body work (having painted 3 bumpers and 2 motorcycles in the span of 2 years using 2k primer, base coat and clear coat systems) but no longer have the time. I asked Lee (or Lea?) how he planned on tackling the repair in the same breath as suggesting that the rear bumper should come off. He handed back my paperwork mid-stride and told me to have a nice day. Conti doesn't need your business nor have the patience (or time) to deal with your preferences. Honestly, I didn't even have the change to tell them to charge me for the bumper removal, or that the job was being paid for by insurance anyway. For those who know a little bit about auto body, taking the parts off for paint ALWAYS guarantees a better job (fewer chances for runs in the clear/paint, good access and coverage, no chance for overspray aka. dusting of paint all over the rest of the car). They get 2 stars instead of 1 because maybe if you can put up with their customer service (or they can put up with you?) and you are willing to foot their astronomically high rip-off rate.... I HEAR their work is good. But really, why work so hard to give them your money? read more

Car was towed here because it was the closest body shop. I dealt with Oliver, great guy. I originally was going to have it towed to a local shop where I live, but decided I'd just leave it there... It was a 12 day fix once the insurance company approved everything.... They even fixed some damage from a previous fender bender at no extra cost! read more

This place is the absolute best! i knocked the side mirror off my car. i went to a different auto body shop first who told me it would be $570. These guys are technicians. Awesome work, fast, reliable and very nice to deal with. Allie is the man.

Absolutely the best- service and workmanship - the car looks better than new! Picked it up detailed and beautiful inside and out.

Conti is the best! I've been going here for years! I just had a minor issue with my sideview mirror getting smashed. Lee was quick to look at it when I brought it in, ordered the part right away (told me the cost and asked if I wanted to proceed), and they were quick to install it once it came in!! There were no surprise extra/added costs. They are wonderful when it comes to the little touches. For example, they fixed a scuff on the back of the mirror without my having to ask. They have in the past, fixed up other little dings and dents when I went in for other things. And their work is top quality. I always walk out of there feeling good about things, that I was treated more than fairly, and I can completely depend on them, especially when dealing with stressful car issues. This is the first yelp post I've ever written, but just came back from there and felt I had to commend them. read more
