I decided to drop by today shortly after they opened to see if they could get me in for a shellac manicure. I was impressed to see it busy just a half hour after they open. I grabbed a seat, got offered something to drink, and given the shellac color wheels. I was excited that they had so many options for colors! There was single color, color changing, cat eye, chrome, glow in the dark, and so on and so forth. The place looked impeccably clean. I got seated at one of the nail technicians booths and she was with my shortly after. My highlight of the visit was the fact she opened a sterilized package of nail tools right in front of me. That alone made me go "Shoot. I'm coming back here!". I ended up going with a black base with the silver glitter for the iridescent nails. I was happy with how they came out! There's a couple spots on one or two nails where the glitter could have been heavier, but that's fine! She was having some issues with the coats drying too quickly but was happy to keep at it to make sure I got a good looking manicure. My overall experience was really good, especially for just dropping in without an appointment. I stumbled across this nail salon after looking for a salon in Vancouver that does dip nails. I was tired of driving from Vancouver to Happy Valley, OR to get my nails done. This salon has great customer service. Van is amazing and was so helpful when I messaged her asking if I could come back in to have 2 nails fixed that had some chips in the top coat and holographic powder. I decided to try out a new nail place because I was super tired of driving all the way out to Camas to get a pedicure/manicure. I saw that this nail place had pretty good reviews and is only 3 minutes from my house. I reached out via Yelp for an appointment and Van set me up with my requested 1:30pm time. I appreciated when I walked in that they all knew who I was and that I was able to immediately get my mani/pedi. It was a very nice experience and they offer free complimentary beverages. I had a Vietnamese iced coffee and it was very delightful. I appreciated the careful attention to detail and my toes and fingers look great. I will definitely be making another appointment in two weeks to come back. Next time I want to try out some Nail art. I recently was introduced to SNS dipping powder while out of state. I became obsessed with it! My nails didn't chip or break ONCE in 5 weeks. I did some research and found Candy's. I had my nails done on a Monday and by Friday, 3 were chipped. By the following Monday two more. My girlfriend came with and had hers done for the first time. She had the same experience as me. Last week was the first time in ages that I've had a mani and I couldn't have been more disappointed. It's my mistake for not closely checking before leaving. Being a perfectionist, I was embarrassed with my nails all weekend long. The polish was still on some of my cuticles and one of my nails was filed in a slight diagonal. After 3 coats of shellac I could still see the nail beds. Sadly, even my husband noticed. I just had to get to another salon today to have my nails done (again). I am relieved to have declined the offer of a pedi. After reading all those 5-star reviews perhaps the gentleman who did my mani was just having an off day. read more

I enjoyed coming to this salon the first 4 times but this very last time I felt like they attempted to take advantage of me. I called before hand and asked about the pricing for a manicure with gel polish and they said 25. Their menu also says that it's 15 for a regular pedicure with no gel polish. 15 + 25 = 40 right? They tried to over charge me and then when I pointed out on the menu, they tried to confuse me. They also say that if you get a manicure and pedicure that it's $3 off. That doesn't make sense to try and charge me $48 for a regular pedicure and a manicure with gel polish. Sucks that I feel like I can't trust once again another nail salon. Always trying to swindle you and trick you into over paying. There's one lady here that I thought was very nice. It's unfortunate that I won't be able to come here again because of this experience. Not to mention the fact that they get extremely impatient with the gel curing and try and rush you and don't finish the timed l.e.d curing. Walked in to see if they could get me in this afternoon as I heard about SNS manicures. I've had acrylics on for about 2 years and wanted to try it out. They got me in no problem, soaked my acrylics off completely so they wouldn't rough up my natural nails. While I was waiting I got to chatting with one of the owners I believe? He was so SO friendly, not only to me but even when an extremely rude male customer was being an a-hole. Anyway; their Vietnamese iced coffee he made for me, AMAZING. I came in on Monday January 13th to get a full set, not even 4 days later 2 had already broken and then another 2 by Sunday. So I went in on Tuesday The 21st to get them fixed because this is ridiculous I've never had nails break off that quickly and as soon as I came in and told the lady about four of them breaking off within five days she looked at me as if I was lying to her and told me that they wouldn't break off that quickly. I proceeded to explain to her that I'm aware they shouldn't be breaking up that quickly which is why I am back to have them fixed and she told me that I would need a full set and get those ones fixed and I said that sounds great and she told me that it was going to be around $25 and I told her that I'm not paying for these to get fixed because they broke off so quickly and I was not satisfied with my service. She proceeded to do them anyways and at the end when I got up and said thank you have a nice day to leave she asked me if I was going to pay or not. And I told her that I already wasn't going to pay and I explained that to her prior to her doing my nails and she looked me in my face and said "why are you still here then leave go get out of here". I've gone here for many years and I've never been treated this way and I've never been treated this way by any other nail place that I have ever been to I am extremely dissatisfied with my service and my nails still don't look good. read more
