I went the 6:30pm show for the first time tonight with my husband. We just moved to Seattle a week ago and thought this would be fun and sexy. The show was very sexy and very insightful, but what surprised us the most is how much talent existed amongst the performers. The lead male host was so funny and talented and the female singer was mind blowing. The support staff were so incredibly talented they could have their own separate show. we brought two friends who felt the same way and the food was incredible. The food is fine, but I prefer to do drinks, bites and desserts here and plan for full on dinner somewhere nearby typically. We did the drink and appetizer package, and no regrets. Great range of appetizers (I had the chicken meatballs) and the show was a unique experience. I've been wanting to see the Dolly show since it was announced and my boyfriend surprised me with the celebration tickets for my birthday! It was our first time going to a live performance/show and we were a little nervous at first, but everyone was very nice there. The show was incredible and was everything I dreamed of and more. I had no idea that I was going to be brought up on stage (this comes with the celebration package) and it was magical... The singing, dancing and acting was amazing! I'm going to try to write this review for people who like the idea of going to a cabaret, but are worried that they may be uncomfortable. This was our second cabaret, the first being in a much larger venue (Triple Door). We liked the cabaret in at the Triple Door, but *loved* this cabaret. The show itself is fairly tame as far as cabarets go. If you are visiting Seattle from middle America, or are otherwise less liberal socially, you will not be uncomfortable. The men are shirtless, and the women at most are topless with fairly large pasties on. It's not much more risqué than what you'd encounter at the beach. There is very little "suggestiveness" in terms of the performers touching each other, and to the extent there is, it is also heterosexual. In terms of below the waist, the women are in bikini bottoms, and "more conservative" thongs. The men are in pants most of the time, sometimes in codpieces, and one time the host was holding just a hat in front of his privates. Two people were "asked" to go on the stage -- me being one of them! I am not the type who usually likes this sort of thing, but I loved it. It was not embarrassing at all. Basically, after the host yelled a profanity, I was asked to repeat him. It was great fun. I was seated in the spot closest to the stage, which is why I was picked. The other person was at a bachelorette party. She sat on the stage while people danced around her. No one got particularly close, and it was much tamer than what I've seen at Vegas in the adult Cirque shows. I say all the above to say that if you want to do a cabaret, but are nervous, I would go ahead and do it. This will be among the more cabarets you can choose. The performers are incredibly talented. There are four dancers (two men, two women), one singer (woman), and the host who is also an acrobat-type person (man). The venue is stunning, and very intimate. If you get seats along the catwalk, the dancers will be dancing literally inches from your face. There's no touching, of course, and they don't touch you, either, except for a playful flick of a feather on your face once or twice. We are vegan, and there are vegan options. We did the three-course "VIP" meal. I would recommend if you are vegan to email them ahead of time, as our server -- while sweet and attentive -- was a bit clueless (she didn't know the difference between vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free). When we went both soups were vegan, and were marked as such. The corn chowder was excellent. However, no entrees were marked as vegan. In emailing back and forth with the venue ahead of time, I was told that the risotto is vegan without the protein. The server had to confirm this with the kitchen. That's what I had, and it was good. I prefer the vegan risotto at Jazz Alley, FWIW. The other dinner vegan option was the vegetarian burger without the aioli. Our server confused gluten free and vegan, and so my wife got it with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. I'm not sure if the bun was not vegan, though, and this is why she got what she got. The vegan dessert option was a vegan tiramisu. I'm not sure why it isn't listed on the menu -- it is excellent. The server knew about this, and I was told in my email discussion ahead of time that it would be available. We do not drink, and there were a handful of non-alcoholic mocktails which were also quite good. However, no NA beer options. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves -- so much that we are going to do this again in the future! If you're on the fence, do it! read more

This place is off the fan fuckingtastic! One of my favorite places to go to let loose, have a great meal, and enjoy a spectacular and amazing show! I come from a family of burlesque dancers and these people do a stand up, encore performance on every show I have seen. Hitchcock and Wonderland were both 5 Star! The food was good as well. I had a couple drinks "There is Always a Monkey in the Banana Stand" was excellent, but the Merry Market Margarita was also quite good. I tried my friends. VIP or better is definitely worth it! Good dinner my friend had lobster ravioli it was good and I had the filet it was tasty. Best of all is the team running the show. No doubt the rest is good but they are amazing! Review update: We saw another show this month (Nov 2023) "Wonderland!" It was fantastic! Just like my previous review, the show itself from the performers to set design was perfect. The performers are the best! On to the food and drinks! I skipped all of the things that I didn't like last time and tried different options. This time we had 2 more people to see what they thought too. I didn't want any of the preset VIP apps so I requested the frites (fries). They were good but I'm not a fan of the beet ketchup. It's ok and I'm assuming an acquired taste. I had the burger which was fantastic (minus the beet ketchup)! They seasoned the meat (awesome)! I was very happy about the taste. I ordered it med-well and uploaded a photo. It looks a little under but it was still fantastic. The people with me on both sides ordered the salmon. They both ate half of the fish and wouldn't eat the rest. The first half of the fish was moist and perfectly cooked while the second half was dry and overcooked. I can only assume this was a kitchen equipment issue. It was the weirdest thing to see how different each end of the fish was cooked. Yes, it was very similar in size so that wasn't the issue. Just like last time, no one asked why the dish wasn't eaten. They could get immediate feedback on what's going on and know firsthand what people like and don't like. I tried the Croissant Beignets this time. I thought they were great! They had a really nice flavor. For drinks, I went with the old fashioned. I ordered 3 and they were all good but obviously made by 2 different bartenders. This is an extremely small and picky observation about consistency. No biggie, just surprised by the differences in the type and what garnishes were used. read more

Awesome Fun!!! To be fair we did not eat anything other appetizers and dessert and sampled some cocktails. So if you're looking for a full food review, this isn't it. First thing: The appetizers are much bigger than you think! If you buy tickets that include appetizers they will be filling. Be forewarned. We had the meatball flatbread and cheese puffs. The flatbread was awesome and about the size of half a pizza. The cheese are cheese and puffy, but not dainty. Imagine 1/3 of a wheel of a small Brie en croute. Now realize that there are two. With a fig jam and fig slices. Great appetizers! Our cocktails were fantastic! The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. Service is quick and as unobtrusive as possible. Everyone we interacted with was great. But the show... The show was so much fun. The performers were great (and you get an opportunity to tip them at the end) and talented. They ginned up great audience participation and everyone seemed to have a good time. I wholeheartedly recommend catching a show at The Can Can when in Seattle. No pics allowed. read more

The beignets, staff, service & ambiance are AMAZING! We visited on Halloween and enjoyed Beignets Foster & I have craved them ever since. Aaron was our server both times we were in and last night he suggested the Croissant Beignets. We were not disappointed, they were so good! The Can-Can may become our Friday night treat; and not just for the food. We have really enjoyed the staff both times we were in. Great people and 5 stars for Aaron, in particular. I ordered my burger medium rare, but it came out rare. I didn't bother to flag down the server since they seemed pretty busy. As for dessert, I was expecting a Tiramisu, but what I got was more of a chocolate cake with a hint of coconut. The food was overall 7/10. On the plus side, the dancers were SUPER talented, great energy, and they put on a great performance. However, sitting in the front row wasn't the best choice. The bright stage lights and smoke effects irritated my eyes. And being that close to the stage made it hard to fully appreciate the entire performance visually. I would NOT recommend getting front row seats to my friends and family. I also personally felt the production was a little low-budget, with just six dancers and no real variety in the staging or decorations to make things more visually exciting and dynamic. I guess I was hoping for more than just people dancing around on bit plain and super tiny stage. At the end of the show, dancers come around to collect tips, so he sure to have some cash on hand for them. read more

What a funnnnn night! I was surprised with a date night here after we stumbled across Can Can looking for something else a few months ago, and we knew we wanted to return to see what this place was all about. I was thinking we would have to go get dinner after, then quickly realized our seats next to the catwalk were also our dining seats- we were eating dinner next to muscly half-naked talented dancers, sprawling out right next to my dinner and drink. Can you say win-win?! They are still requiring proof of vaccination and masks (as of 3/27), so bring those back out if you put them away! We were seated by one of the dancers, and she was so kind and excited for us to see the show! I had no idea what to expect and I think she could tell! We ordered our drinks and dinner, loved that they had vegan options! I got the Spring Harvest Bowl, and my boyfriend got the Kale Salad with chicken. He ended up not liking the kale salad, said it was bland, and switched to what I got, and loved it. Now the show.. omg is there a limit with how many times I can go?? I would watch this once a week for the rest of my life, it was so entertaining and these people are TALENTED. Not only can they dance dance, they can sing sing! I wish I remembered the brunette girls name, but her voice was so old-timey and it went so well with the Moulin Rouge era. Let me start off by saying, this place is too cute. We were lucky enough to get seated on the patio with some shade. My friend and I got the mimosa flight, all of the flavors were good. I'd like to say the highlight for me was then parm garlic fries, they were so good! I wasn't sure what to order so I asked the server to recommend a few favorite dishes. I can't remember what my dish was called, but it was pork belly on toast with a poached egg and drowned in gravy. I took two bites and had to send it back! It was way to heavy, there wasn't a difference in texture it was all mushy, and it was wasn't very flavorful. I asked the server if I can get something else, that was as literally the last we saw of her, guess we must have upset her for sending back a dish. I just couldn't stomach such an overly rich, mushy, little flavored brunch! I got the Caesar salad with salmon instead, which was amazing. Though, they didn't ask me how I wanted my salmon cooked. Thank god it wasn't over cooked. We had to flag down a different server so we could cash out, sis was really upset I see! All in all, super cute place, food is ok, definitely a spot for a cocktail and a view of the alley. We were just walking along Post Alley and stumbled upon this theater. The staff were so kind in describing what this is and gave us a peek into the theater. We were so impressed, that we bought tickets to that night's show, "Dolly". What fun! Not only was the show a great time, we were surprised by our "appetizer" meal that came with the show. I ordered two bottles of the can can Chardonnay (tasty). I had the glitter goddess cocktail very good but was gone in two sips. Your seated and explained no photography during the show but they do let you photograph during certain acts as long as they give the permission. This show had talent....singing, dancing, comedy, thongs and pasties!!!! Now let's talk food the can can burger with cheese, bacon, avocado was huge..I was full with half. Definitely recommend their red pepper soup. I ordered a cup of the soup and regretted not ordering a bowl. The sirloin with mash potatoes and broccolini was amazing. To finish I ordered the sweetest chocolate covered strawberries....I only gave away one....yes I didn't want to share lol They change the show themes....so the glitter gala is now so hurry up and buy your tickets!!! Updated review.. It's been a year or two since I've been to a show at Can Can. My friend and I went to see Dolly last night. We both had a ton of fun and the dancers are so talented. My updated review is based on the food. Both of us ordered the filet mignon for $48. The food came out cold, and lacked flavor. We both were disappointed with it, especially for the cost. Certainly could've used some salt at least, but there aren't salt & pepper shakers at the tables. It was disappointing considering the high cost. I've had dinner here before that was delicious.. so I don't know if certain dishes are just better than others.. or it's a consistency problem as I read in another review. It certainly makes me hesitant to order dinner here again. I'll likely stick to lite bites, dessert and drinks next time. read more
