a man playing a grand piano
Carolina A.

What a fun night at Keys on Main. 5 stars to the piano guys who definitely put on a show. Very lively. We had a fun time. We didn't have reservations but got there early and the guy at the door let us know we could grab a table once the music started on any of the open tables, fuss this gives time to the people who reserve to show up or lose the tables. The show is great. They don't have any food (bummer!) Drinks were ok. I can't believe they charge you for soda water even though you are ordering double drinks and spending a good amount of money. Lame.

I had an amazing night here. Loved the ambience and the music. The musicians knew most of all the songs and you will also laugh. Definitely going back.

Such a fun bar! They are amazingly talented and it's good silly fun! There is a lot of seating so don't worry about having to stand. I went pretty late so I'm not sure what they really offer but worth the try!

$5.00 per person to reserve a table, and $5.00 per person cover charge to get in. I'm ok with the cover charge, however paying $5.00 per person to reserve 2 seats at a banquet table is ridiculous. Had I known that prior to going, we could've just walked in. Probably would've had better seats too. Once the show started though, we had a blast. The guys on the piano are fun, lively, and get the crowd really going. The drinks were delish too. They had just the right amount of alcohol to mixer ratio.

SO MUCH FUN!! The piano players are amazingly talented. We went on a thursday and there was no table service. Only one bartender working, and she worked her butt off. There was a line the whole night. Recommend getting reservations and arriving a little bit early. Bring cash so you can request songs with a tip. They do not serve food so we went out beforehand, but I think you can order from nearby. Also, even though the website mentions ladies night and cover charges, that info is outdated. Thursday is not ladies night, so no $4 drinks. I payed $12 for a strawberry lemondrop. Not too bad, but I wouldn't go here for the drink. Come to sing along!

Matt the manager was faced with staff not showing and a CO2 malfunction with soda spraying everywhere but he managed to make good drinks and the show did go on. This was a Fun night! With a group from LEGO adding to the variety of songs they rocked hard and 'Everything was Awesome'. Talented musicians, excellent duo on the pianos. Great way to spend the evening

Good times in a fun environment - just had drinks while traveling. There is a cover charge that they should probably do away with.

There's a good amount of seating in the platform area and a large open floor in the middle. A lot of people also stand/dance on the same platform as there's a lot of leeway for you to move between areas. I never really do coat check because I'm paranoid about not having my things on me, but the one here is easy and reliable. The only real issue was the photo booth which only worked for the first half hour or so. I'm assuming it ran out of film or something because at some point, it just kept taking people's money without taking any photos, which was brought up to the staff. This isn't necessarily on Showbox since the photo booth is provided by a vendor, but I would've appreciated an "out of order" sign. If this happens to you, you can visit the vendor's website and call for a refund!

The space feels sophisticated while still cozy and welcoming. and the service was spot on. We arrived early for dinner and I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Brochette Salad. My friend ordered the sole. At first I was hesitant to order this salad, thinking the beef might be chewy, but the server assured me it was tender--and it absolutely was. Perfect medium rare and truly fork-tender. My friend LOVED her sole entree. The show itself had fantastic sound quality, along with the staging and lighting. I'll be back up at Jazz Alley for sure! Well, the future visit was last night and the rating still "good." I am not sure what's the issue but I can't imagine they can not achieve "excellent!" Anyway, the dishes we tried were the Lobster and Scallop ( Maine Lobster and seared sea Scallops) mac and cheese with penne pasta and the Vegetable Lasagna which included pasta with eggplant, spinach, mushrooms, basil, ricotta, parmesan and mozzarella, served on San Marzano tomato sauce and topped with pesto were delicious. Kudos to the kitchen but they've got to get the overall food management thing under control.

They said the band just started and they couldn't do that. I apologized and said I wasn't trying to haggle at all. The staff was very kind to us, even tho we were waffling. I've come to expect the cold front. The bartender who served me at the comedy show just before the Tavern refused to make any human contact. He just handled my cash and handed me my drink, like a robot. I still have warm blood pumping through my veins. Tractor Tavern was so warm and friendly. They gave us time to talk about it outside. We stepped outside. The music was percolating through the glass. I am a classic rock junkie. I took us back in. At the bar, I asked for a double. The bartender moved to the side to reveal a sign that said "no doubles". I laughed and apologized. He was kind and made a friendly joke. I seriously don't expect anyone to be nice to me anymore. I expect a chilly silence. This was so welcoming and warm. I wasn't treated like a jerk even tho some of my questions could warrant that response. They allowed me to be new and be human. I, my wife, and her friend stopped by for New Year's Drinks around 6, and about 6:30 or so, made the mistake of asking Tim Duvall, the clearly drunken before 7:00 PM owner of the establishment, whether outside food can be brought into the bar. This led to his regaling us with an extended and utterly unsolicited history of the bar. He then invited himself to sit with us, halfway into the seat before slurring a "Can I sit down?" to insert himself into our booth. We then moved to another unsolicited conversation, this time about politics. Now, to be clear - I have no doubt that I and a sober Tim Duvall probably agree on most of our politics. This did not stop him from berating me as I agreed with his point, loudly escalating and yelling as I tried to agree with him (again... to be clear, I DIDN'T disagree his political view) until he stood and began yelling that I was kicked out. As I stood to talk on him, he became VERY comfortable with putting his hands on me, grabbing my sweatshirt to move me. I was NOT about to challenge that as a Black man new to Seattle that doesn't know how the police would handle things. I need to be very specific about how quickly this man felt comfortable touching me, grabbing my sweater to "drag" me. This is the step that is WAY over the line. I would genuinely like to recommend this place, as I'm looking for bars that offer sugar cane soda. Drunken ownership- in the early evening in New Year's - that feels comfortable being handsy with Black folk is far too much. AVOID at all costs.
