I contacted Camping World as they suggested regarding my complaint. They indicated that they had done their evaluation and it was a difference in a matter of opinion from the people who subsequently inspected the roof. They stood by their original recommendation to reseal parts of the roof. As I said earlier I had two RV service professionals including a contractor who does nothing but fix RV roofs disagree withCamping World's assessment. One even suggested that perhaps they hadn't even looked at the roof. I had shared photos taken of the roof's damage to support their assessment. The bottom line is that Camping World did nothing to correct the problem. They had indicated that at least they would reimburse me for their inspection. I have not received a reimbursement (two weeks later). I would be careful in using Camping World to inspect your motorhome read more

Avoid consigning here at all costs. My experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The Sales Manager at the Wood Village location was polite in person but consistently failed to return my texts or calls. The Northwest Sales Manager for Consigned RVs was, in my opinion, deeply unethical and untrustworthy -- the kind of behavior you'd expect from the worst caricature of a used car salesman. Despite reaching out to Camping World corporate and even opening a case through Marcus Lemonis' office, I never received any follow-up. Was my RV eventually sold? Yes, but not without significant financial loss, misleading information, and being treated poorly throughout the process. Camping World should seriously reconsider the standards they hold their managers to. This experience was unacceptable and has left a lasting negative impression. read more

Would not recommend. Was headed out on a trip, paid close to $500 for an inspection since I didn't use for a while. I question whether it was done. Got to my campsite, air conditioning didn't work, leak in bathroom and water and broken water pump. Could have had repairs done before trip but had to find mobile repair service. Also scratched my rig, have photos to prove. read more

We put our travel trailer on consignment in May. They sold it on May 31st. It took them until July 22nd to pay it off. I dropped the insurance when it was sold. At the beginning of July I started getting letters from the credit union saying they were going to force expensive insurance on me on the 25th. I also asked for a copy of the sales agreement so we could receive a refund on our extended warranty. They would not return my calls. It was a horrible experience. Don't deal with them. read more

Even called me about an installation discount coming up because he knew I needed an expensive service. And he doesn't make me feel like an idiot when I don't understand or ask ignorant questions! Cautions to consider when purchasing a Solis 36B Pocket We were very excited about our purchase of a new Winebago Solis 36B at a Camping World outlet in Bend, OR on March 14, 2024 and were looking forward to the spring trips we had planned. Instead of camping we had to return it to the dealer 2 days later because the solar panels were not charging, and the Ecoflow screen showed input to be zero even in full sun. Three months later on June 7 the service department finally informed us that the problem was fixed. The service report included many issues that would not be expected in a new van (this one was assembled at the plant in Forest City, Iowa). A few of these were quote: "Battery was so lost, it would not register 'on.' Had to plug into 120V to charge up battery to see its abilities; Disconnected POS wire under the solar port and bad zamp connectors in the ceiling; A disconnected positive wire under the hub; All wiring in the ceiling was reversed-positive was negative and negative was positive." During this time there was also a Winnebago recall on our model to 'ensure the Ecoflow power hub is properly secured." Even after being told the Ecoflow problem had been solved, the screen would not activate at all. We discovered that the connection wire was disconnected. Another problem was that the table was very hard to push down because the pedestal supporting it was not aligned. Obviously there was no quality control in place when this van was manufactured. After the first month we were concerned that there were probably other issues with this van, and we asked for a full refund or a new vehicle without issues, after all, we had paid Winnebago/Camping World over $126,000. It was explained that neither of these was possible because it was Winnebago's policy to not take either of these actions if a van could be repaired, no matter how long this may take. During the last 3 months we have spent endless hours talking to and corresponding with customer service in both corporations (including the plant manager of Winnebago), going to Camping World in person every week for updates, contacting lawyers and finding out that many do not do camper vans and that hiring a lawyer is expensive and the results are unpredictable. There is no Lemon Law in Oregon for campers. We feel helpless and frustrated and hope that this doesn't happen to any of you. One way to protect yourself is to have a discussion with your dealer to be sure that "you get what you pay for" or that your money will be refunded. Ask the dealer if the vehicles are "prepped" before they are sold to detect any problems. One reputable Solis dealer whom I spoke with said that his team of technicians goes over every vehicle before it is sold. He recently sent a Solis 36B back to the company before it was sold to a customer because it, like ours, had too many issues. The Solis 36B would be a great van if the corporate owners of Camping World and Winnebago cared as much about their customers as their profits. read more
