I found this little gem through Yelp, and made suggested reservations on their web site. We were welcomed in by Alex, and promptly seated. They treat up special as it was a special occasion and I put that in the reservation. We ordered the Smokey feta whip, and added the cucumber chips to do in it also. It came with bread and crunchy bread chips. Yummy! Next we ordered the prosciutto and Brie and the French dip. The au jus was a little salty but had good flavor. I was so full I took half my portion home for tomorrow. Hubby also ordered the big French press coffee. All was great and Kevin was a great server. We will be back! read more

After another day of Fresno meetings, I decided to have dinner on the way home courtesy of the expense account ;-) While driving, I pulled up a variety of restaurants off of 99 and this seemed the most intriguing (Kids, don't try driving with the left and tapping away with the right btw. I'm an old pro unlike the small guy in the big truck yapping away on the phone going 60 in the fast lane. I mean dude, I know you are insecure about certain attributes you might be lacking, but if God didn't make you built like a man at least drive like it). Siri was a bit off on directions so I pulled into parking lot going wrong way on one way street. (But just for a few seconds). It's a popular place evidently as I was told only the worst seats in the parking lot were open. I was the only one out there in 90 degree temps. But, I didn't have lunch so whatever. See photo to see how far away I was from main outdoor seating area. There were a lot of seats I saw available when I arrived and an older man who was first brought out to seat near me in the parking lot, ended up moving his seat to the cooler kids, more sheltered patio. I guess since I was there before him I should have done that too but at that point it was a pride thing. Dammit, I will sit out on 11th street if I have to ;-) Wine selection was limited but the French white flight intrigued me. The Rose and Chenin Blanc were quite lovely, the Sauvignon blanc was trying too old to be a New World version. I love Loire or Bordeaux SB's but this one didn't do anything for me. Food was excellent. Started with bruschetta of the day, perfect 4 pieces. Pure loveliness. See the rare food pic from me (no offense to other yelpers but food pics are annoying imho). Next, had the spicy ahi poke and although I didn't like the salad to rice ratio (needed more rice) the overall flavor of this version of poke was fabulous. Great sauce, lovely veggies and apples to give it a more interesting flavor. I tried an Argentine white on sale by the glass but it tasted like the gasoline in a Mad Max movie. Switched it out for the Chenin. Service was very good although the server definitely got her 10,000 steps running out to me alone in parking lot (just please stop saying "No problem" after I say thank you. Absolute pet peeve! I'm paying you for food and drink, of course it's not a problem!) So overall, a solid place that I would consider again if I am allowed to sit at the big kids table next time ;-) read more

We went in the middle of the day, so wasn't so busy. We were able to stay on the patio and the service was still so attentive. We had a glass of champagne and a beer with a charcuterie board. Our server asked what we didn't like and it was much appreciated. It was our favorite board out at a restaurant that we were able to use all of the board and make so many creations that were all delicious. Great date night idea! read more

This is one of my favorite places to go! The wine selection is wonderful and the staff is knowledgeable about the wines. The food is incredible. We always got the bruschetta with burrata and it's great. The balsamic reduction drizzled on the top with pesto and tomatoes is just lovely. We recently tried the smoke, whipped feta. We had a hard time not finishing the whole thing, it was that good! I've taken so many friends here. My company has get togethers here from time to time. The food was great. We got the smokey whipped feta starter, french dip panini, and prosciutto & fig jam panini, with spring salads as the sides for the paninis. (See details of ingredients at bottom.) My very picky mother got the french dip panini because it sounded like an italian beef sandwich (big deal in the Chicago area), and basically it was indeed like that, and was very good. The other panini was a little less good, in my opinion, partly because a third of it had no prosciutto on it, and it seemed in general like they were skimping on the prosciutto. The bites with sufficient prosciutto were very good. And, to be fair, I'm not the hugest fan of brie, though I do like it, so maybe it was just me. I think more prosciutto and more fig would have made it way better, though. The smokey whipped feta starter was amazing and honestly the best thing. And while the menu says it comes with "crostini," it actually came with three different options for dipping: Crostini, toasted bread, and a flat cracker-like thing that I'm not sure of the name for. The spring salads were not all that exciting, since little side salads rarely are, but they were high quality ingredients and tasty, and I'm glad they come with the paninis. The service was great too. I usually don't care much about service as long as they aren't bad/mean in some way. I'm fine with the bare minimum done in a timely manner. But they went above and beyond. We were being a pain in the butt since we took a while to decide if we should eat indoors or out and which exact table to sit at. We had a good reason: We were afraid my elderly mother would fall off the stool, so we thought one of the indoor tables with regular chairs would be better, but we wanted to sit outside, so we ended up sitting on the stools but pulling the table close to a wall so that she'd fall into the wall if she fell backwards. They realized what was going on and were very nice about it, and helped pull over another table for us to give us room for all the food. Another nice thing they did was--when they learned we'd be sharing everything--bring extra little plates as well as pre-cut the two paninis into three equal-sized pieces. (But that's why I'm saying a third of the prosciutto panini, MY third to be exact, had zero prosciutto.) A third nice thing they did was ask if we wanted to keep the menus, which are just paper. I actually very much did want to keep the menu because I like to have it to remember what I ordered and the prices in case I want to go again or recommend it to someone else, but I would have been embarrassed to say so, and would have just handed it over. I'm glad he asked, and I did keep mine. And they were just very kind and friendly in general. A final positive note: I see in other reviews here that they allow dogs in the outdoor seating area. I'm totally that person who would take a dog if I could, so that's good to know, and makes me more likely to return. If you guys read this, thank you for being so very nice to us! My friend and I made a reservation for this location for a late lunch. We based it on the high recommendations on yelp. We were seated immediately and had attentive service. There was so many amazing choices on the menu. It was hard to decide which to try. We opted for the French dip Panini and split that. We also started out with the bruschetta. My first time dining here at this restaurant. We order the charcuterie board it's a MUST HAVE CHARCUTERIE appetizer. Service was top notch professionally explaining all items and their touches and where everything was from highly experienced waiter. Frank Steak Panni was appreciated by another family member. Good wine selection and the wine glasses are high quality wine glasses to enjoy. Parking is limited outside very short walk to the restaurant easy. Although indoor is not open at the moment they have outdoor dining available WITH reservations, which is super convenient and easy to do! My bf and I ordered: The shrimp poke bowl, regular poke bowl, white wine flight, and Persian black tea.. but unfortunately before I took my phone out to take photos for my review he was half way done... all the ingredients in our poke bowls tasted really fresh and just the right amount. The service is superb and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. They have restrooms readily available for customers. Personally, for us, we don't mind sitting on high top chairs while eating but if you do mind... you may want to look somewhere else if you require more support because all their seating are high too tables which btw are all spaced within a friendly 6' distance. Also, it was our first time there and was a little difficult locating the entrance so if you're also not from the area drive around the block and enter since a one way parking lot. This was a new local option for me and I thought the atmosphere would be great to throw a surprise bday party. I was indeed correct. We called and made reservations and everything was smooth and they were complacent. They happily agreed to store a cake for us which was super sweet and so delighted they allowed it because I was really hoping everything would come out perfect. They even allowed me to bring flowers as centerpiece and they had cool letters posted on the wall and it spells out cute things! The waiter Dustin was amazing and made us feel comfortable. Made the birthday girl feel special. Food was amazing too by the way. Staff was friendly and from silverware to the furnishings, it fit my cup of tea. You go to this place with your beau or a mature night out with the ladies. This place is super cute inside and out! I brought my girl here because she wanted a boujie girls night out, lol. We came here and she loved it. The ambiance is sophisticated. She arrived before me and thought the crowd was "stuck up," but when I walked in, I said, "Girl, what are you talking about?! This is a GROWN crowd! This is not what you're used to!" Anyways, lol. We sat outside, and they had almond blossoms, palm trees, and lights as decor, and it was super cute! We both said to each other that this place during the day would be bomb! The food menu is pretty cool. Wide variety of things. We both got paninis & some rosé. For app we got the Spicy Black Bean Hummus. It was good. Only downside of this place is their champagne. They don't have any lol. Only rosé. Which is the reason for the 4 stars inside of 5. Went here on a girl date with my Bestie. I had both the White and Red tasting flights so so good! My favorite was the white. Everything was wonderful. The food, service, as well as the pricing were great! Kevin F. was our server, he has been my server a few times before and he is always so friendly. He knows a lot about the wines and is always very knowledgeable about the menu items. The only issue I would say I have is that it is pretty loud in the main dining area and if you are at a low table you do sit somewhat close to others so if you are wanting a bit of a more romantic or quiet atmosphere ask to sit in the back room, I believe it is a little quieter back there. This is my second visit and I'm just wondering why I haven't visited more often? I ordered the flank steak panini with ciabatta chips and I thought the panini had a great flavor balance. The meat was soft and juicy, the cheese added great substance, and the over all portion was adequately filling. The ciabatta chips were scrumptiously crunchy and deliciously buttered. At one point the waiter thought I was done and I told him to wait on taking my plate away because I had like three chips left...lol. I ordered the "Chicken Poke Bowl" which if I remember right was pineapple, rice, avocado, cilantro, cucumber, rice and chicken and the sauces on the side. When I tell you A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. When I posted it on my Snap, everyone kept messaging me "You had a CHICKEN poke bowl?" lol, yes I did. I can't eat shellfish so; I love when a restaurant has chicken substitutes. This place was just so good. That bowl, honesty the star of the bowl was the RICE. That rice, I haven't looked to check, but if they sold the rice by itself, I'd buy that by the pound, it's that good. One of my childhood favorite snacks, that I still have to indulge in every once in a while, and its still a favorite of mine is a good grilled cheese. I ordered their grilled cheese. It's simple plain basic, but Lord is it BEYOND creamy. It was so good I dang near inhaled it =\ oops lol .. This place, easily 9/10. Very great service. It was very quiet for a dinner setting and very clean and nice inside. They say if the bathroom at the restaurant you're eating at is clean so is their kitchen, and the bathroom spoke for itself. Waiter was very polite and put a ton of effort and care into his job. I was caught between a chicken and bacon panini and a portobello panini and he recommended the portobello because it's very common to order the chicken and bacon. What this says is that these employee's want you to try new things and step out of your comfort zone but in a welcoming space. I didn't quite catch our waiters name but he had glasses and longer hair. Very very respectful man and great service. read more
