Menu (specifically list Roasted Red Pepper Smoked Gouda Soup as an option to order)
    Hailey H.

I went here for the first time about a month or so ago. The decor inside is super cute, great atmosphere, and the employees were nice! I originally wanted the Roasted Red Pepper Smoked Gouda Soup as it was stated as a regular item on the menu and not a seasonal one. Upon asking for it, I was informed that the soups are only the soups of the day and that the Roasted Red Pepper Smoked Gouda Soup was not one of those. I was confused as it appears to be a selection on the menu. I ended up ordering the Tuscan Turkey. The food tasted fresh and the turn around time for them to get it out to me was good, considering how busy it was. Overall, the experience was pleasent and food was worth trying! I do want to visit again to try other items on the menu and hopefully I will be able to order the Roasted Red Pepper Smoked Gouda Soup!

The most adorable cafe and delicious food with AMAZING local artisan hand formed sourdough bread. If I could give this 6 stars I would.

Tuscan Turkey Sandwich and Mediterranean Board both

Service was great! We ordered the Tuscan Turkey sandwich and the Mediterranean Board both were delicious and with great presentation. The ambiance was cozy, good playlist running in the background and little table top games in the outdoor seating area. We will be back to try more.

    Iced vanilla coffee with cream
    Jenny T.

The food was so good! I got an iced vanilla coffee with cream and it was served in the cutest glass. I also got the Havana Melt sandwich and you could tell it was made with freshly-sliced ham, not pre-cut deli ham. I have always loved their sourdough bread, so being able to enjoy sandwiches made with it is like a bonus. Service was great, everyone was super polite and they have made the inside so cute, with lots of hanging plants (that you can buy!) and greenery on each table. I will definitely be coming again soon!

Sourdough and Kalamata spread charcuterie boards

We loved the food! I am a big olive fan so I really enjoyed their charcuterie bread board with kalamata spread. My son also really liked his prosciutto sandwich and brown sugar coffee. I wish they had lattes or a better drink selection, but okay, the good food will do. We sat outside in the back because the inside was packed. We enjoyed the experience and will be going back . The service was good - nice people.

    Tropical iced tea

Super cute cafe with inviting ambiance. I loved the tropical iced tea. I ha the Sunlit Grilled Cheese. The lemon tumeric sourdough was omg delicious. The only thing that would've made it better would be a cup of soup (my bad for not ordering their roasted red pepper Gouda soup), or possibly a mustard aioli or pesto aioli to add some tang. Service was pretty quick.

We had stopped by the highway, where the view of lush greenery and rolling hills was nice. I approve! It was nice to sit on the patio watching the passing cars, and the tarp above us provided pleasant shade from the sun. My daughter and I shared the Biscuits and Gravy with scrambled eggs and sausages. The homemade biscuits were buttery and flaky--absolutely delicious. My partner and her daughter shared either a skillet or an omelet; I don't quite remember since I didn't take a picture. Regardless, we were all satisfied with our meals and ready to continue our adventure. The service was friendly and efficient. I didn't even get to check out inside the restaurant. Was there an inside? A quick tip: you'll need a key to access the restrooms. I noticed several people walk over only to discover the door was locked, so I made sure to ask for the key. According to their website, this place has a fascinating history--it once served as a miner's supply store before becoming a hotel. I believe there are still rooms available, as I noticed you can reserve cabins with twin and queen beds. While I might not stay in a cabin myself, I would definitely return for the food.

They have a good amount of seating outside as well as inside too. We ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, Priest Skillet and Kids Pancakes and Fruit. Everything was pretty good and fresh! Coffee was good too! Other menu items included Steak and Eggs, Omelets, a Breakfast Burrito, Pancakes and even French Toast. They had a decent kids menu as well. Staff were also very friendly and personable. Bathrooms needed a key since anyone off the highway can stop in and use them, but they were clean. Overall, Priest Station Cafe is a nice place to stop while on a road trip - the view is worth it! Check them out!

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. I think they care more about making things look IG worthy, than the quality of the product they are serving.
