We came here on a small date and sat inside. There was some live music in the back area but we stayed inside. The decor is very nice and open. Always a 5 star review every time I visit. The dishes are always made with so much love and care. The food is phenomenal. Relish is known for having very fresh food for every meal. The overall aesthetic and ambience of the restaurants is very cute and something you would expect in a bigger city like San Francisco or Los Angeles. Overall, I really love this place and take every chance that I get to go eat there. So far my two favorite dishes have been x-rayed on Mother's Day, and their brussels sprouts. This place is the perfect place. I don't live in this area but drive through often on my way up to the mountains. I have always struggled finding a good meal on the route. This place is not good. It's great! I have now been twice and today heading there again. The food is yummy. I have tasted almost everything in the menu with my guests and not a bad one in the mix. My mouth is watering just thinking about having the coconut yogurt granola with lemon curd. Excited to see this new spot pop up in the area. It was apparent that they took their time perfecting the space and the menu. The service was great and staff was very friendly despite it being their opening week. We waited approximately 20 minutes to be seated and ordered lattes while we waited (which were great). My wife and I loved the food. We had the sandwich of the day and the flatbread along with a side of whipped feta. The sandwich of the day had roast beef, pepperoncinis and Dijon mustard. It was probably one of the best roast beef sandwiches I've ever had. The flatbread and whipped feta were equally as great. We are excited to return and try other menu items. read more

Great place for breakfast or brunch! Every dish we've had over multiple visits has been fantastic. Even the coffee was top notch. We got the hash, the quiche, and pancakes this morning. Each one was delicious in its own way. The space is very well decorated. Simple, classic design and very tasteful. The service staff was very nice and attentive as well. On our most recent visit they had several family members working and you can tell they pour their heart and soul into the place. I'd highly recommend to locals or people passing through. This is a super cute eatery located in the sweet old downtown of Escalon. We ordered a few things. The flat bread with stone fruits and mild goat cheese was sooo good. For that & the good customer service I give 4 stars. however, when it's 100 degrees outside, room temp water is not that appealing as it sits in a cute bottle on the table. I had to ask for ice. The mango black ice tea is good but very weak so I passed. And I'm glad I did when I later noticed it's a whopping $5!! I am not sure I've ever paid $5 for ice tea. For 2 eggs, about 10 fried red potatoes and 2 sausage ( which I don't eat, & nothing was suggested as a substitute, so my friend ate it. and 1 toast or in my case 1 large tortilla at my request, ... a whopping $17. The potatoes and eggs had zero taste. I asked if they had homemade salsa, no. so I asked for hot sauce. They have Tapatio. I had to get something on my eggs, so I ordered Pepper Jack cheese. Still didn't help much:( my original intent was to get the breakfast burrito, but found out it is pre-made in the morning with meat in it. well, I don't eat meat so that was a no for me. My friend ordered the chicken salad and said it was good. so I guess I just ordered wrong. Overall, I would go back and get the flatbread item as I will post pic. I think it's a bit pricey for certain items... I hope this makes it as this is the cutest eatery in Escalon. It's always fun to be somewhere cute & clean. We stumbled upon Relish, looking for a place to have some breakfast and coffee while driving through Escalon, and we couldn't have enjoyed our experience more! Chef Steph was so lovely and welcoming, and it was apparent that every detail was so well-considered, from decor to food to service. All of our food was fresh and delicious and the coffees were lovely. A special shout-out to the scones as well! Typical scones can be dry and boring, but not these! Seriously, get them. Cute little restaurant. Really chic. It really echoed/amplified conversations though. The service was friendly and the menu was not extensive which I appreciate at little shops like these. I started off with an iced drip coffee. Really good. I opted for a simple breakfast platter but everything tasted fine. The fries seemed like they were baked or air fried rather than deep fried - which I enjoyed. My friend especially enjoyed her Margherita Flatbread and some kind of cabbage and bacon bowl. Definitely pricier because it's a trendier spot and the food is fresher than other places... the price for my breakfast plate seemed to be more than I'd like to pay for in terms of serving amount and complexity... but my friend's pizza price seemed appropriate. My husband and I stopped into this place while traveling. It is hard to find healthy food on the road but we hit the Jack pot with this place! The food is fresh and ingredients seem farm to table. They easily accommodated our vegan diet but it is not a vegan establishment so I was surprised that the dishes we ordered almost seemed to tailored to our diet. We are big supporters of local businesses and even more so when breakfast is included. I'll start off with the food as it's the biggest thing for us. What we ordered: Burrito - Was so good! I liked that they use Yukon potatoes over red, so it's a nicer bite. We added avocado to ours and it was perfect. Breakfast sandwich special- This sandwich was surprisingly really good! And what I mean by surprising, it didn't have the usual sandwich flavor, which i think has to do with the maple aioli. Brown sugar scone- This tasted like cinnamon tasted crunch cereal and I wasn't mad about it. It wasn't overly sweet, which I was thankful for, and was the perfect balance to my latte. Lemon poppyseed muffin- It was surprisingly not as lemony as I'm used to, but it was nice for those who don't like the strong taste of lemon. For example, my husband doesn't care too much for lemon pastries, but did enjoy eating half the muffin. Both the burrito and sandwich came with a salad, which was delicious! The balsamic, feta, strawberries and pickled radishes was definitely a great combination. The service was awesome! Everyone is friendly and kind, you can tell they are wanting their guest to enjoy their food and time while being in the restaurant. The restaurant is so cute! I love the color palette, the furniture and space. It give the feeling of going to an open home with space to be able to see and enjoy without feeling claustrophobic from the amount of unnecessary items. It can get a little noisy, depending on the time of day you're going, but that's pretty common for smaller spaces. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star rating is due to their coffee. And all of this is said in a personal opinion, others may think differently. I am not a fan of the beans they use, which I know who they are and have tried the coffee before. I think that coffee is "OK" at best as regular drip coffee, and did not like it brewed as espresso due to the flavor it produced. We went to our go-to drinks for first time coffee places. What we ordered: Iced mocha- they use ganache, which is fine, but the chocolate doesn't blend well with the coffee. It needs extra sweetness if that coffee bean is going to be used. Oat vanilla bean latte- the vanilla bean, which is homemade syrup, was the saving grace for the drink. I would to taste it with different coffee as the espresso overpowered the whole drink. I would definitely come back! This place is perfect for a date or a girls brunch. read more

So of course the location is perfect. The decor is super cool. The service was on point. However, the food is a 10 also. My dad ordered the burrata with strawberries and he loved it even as a "dude". My mom ordered the kale salad and she gave it a 10. Tiny tiny bit over dressed but it was a good dressing so who cares. I had the quiche which was honestly the best I ever had. Relish hosted our Baby Shower for my daughter in law on October 14th! We couldn't have asked for better food, service, ambiance and weather out on the patio! We were welcomed with pitchers of Mimosas, Iced Tea and fresh water, while Chef Steph was preparing a few Tid Bits (appetizers) for our guests as they arrived! The Tid Bits and Fall Menu were amazing and so delicious and fresh! Food is a little over the top in my opinion for someone that is picky. Ended up with avocado toast that seemed to have the avocado spread from Costco verse real avocado and all this crap on it that I'm not a fan of (because I'm picky). Daily sandwich was turkey and havarti with dijonaise; the bread was super soft and the flavors were well balanced and tasty. Salad was the best I ever had(I don't really order salads); very fresh ingredients. The service was wonderful. Our main server was Hannah and she was delightful. Very kind and helpful.
