    Roast Beef Sandwich & Flatbread
    Matt J.

Excited to see this new spot pop up in the area. It was apparent that they took their time perfecting the space and the menu. The service was great and staff was very friendly despite it being their opening week. We waited approximately 20 minutes to be seated and ordered lattes while we waited (which were great). My wife and I loved the food. We had the sandwich of the day and the flatbread along with a side of whipped feta. The sandwich of the day had roast beef, pepperoncinis and Dijon mustard. It was probably one of the best roast beef sandwiches I've ever had. The flatbread and whipped feta were equally as great. We are excited to return and try other menu items.

Avocado Toast was so delicious. Service was awesome, the young lady attend to us was so friendly, ambiance is so perfect.

The food was delectable, and the staff were very quaint and polite. I absolutely adored the decor as well. I will be coming here often. I was visiting with my friends and forgot to photograph my food, but I did get a shot of this little stud.

Excellent little Sunday breakfast for the family at Relish. Very nice ambiance and customer service. The staff is very friendly. All of the food was great, especially the house made scones. This might have just became our main Sunday spot. Right in downtown Escalon next to a few other great shops. The space is roomie with comfortable seating.

This is a super cute eatery located in the sweet old downtown of Escalon. We ordered a few things. The flat bread with stone fruits and mild goat cheese was sooo good. For that & the good customer service I give 4 stars. however, when it's 100 degrees outside, room temp water is not that appealing as it sits in a cute bottle on the table. I had to ask for ice. The mango black ice tea is good but very weak so I passed. And I'm glad I did when I later noticed it's a whopping $5!! I am not sure I've ever paid $5 for ice tea. For 2 eggs, about 10 fried red potatoes and 2 sausage ( which I don't eat, & nothing was suggested as a substitute, so my friend ate it. and 1 toast or in my case 1 large tortilla at my request, ... a whopping $17. The potatoes and eggs had zero taste. I asked if they had homemade salsa, no. so I asked for hot sauce. They have Tapatio. I had to get something on my eggs, so I ordered Pepper Jack cheese. Still didn't help much:( my original intent was to get the breakfast burrito, but found out it is pre-made in the morning with meat in it. well, I don't eat meat so that was a no for me. My friend ordered the chicken salad and said it was good. so I guess I just ordered wrong. Overall, I would go back and get the flatbread item as I will post pic. I think it's a bit pricey for certain items... I hope this makes it as this is the cutest eatery in Escalon. It's always fun to be somewhere cute & clean. And love the bathroom. **And make sure you make time to visit the kitchen/ home store a few doors down! It is adorable. And the owner is lovely.

Thrilled to have a local spot as unique and charming as Relish. Every meal is thoughtful and delish. We're always welcomed and treated like family. Love that extra attention is spent on details like beautiful fresh flowers on each table and colorful dishes/glassware to enhance the vibe of each meal. Thankful we can get orders to go too. Such a special place we're thankful to have close to home.

This place is so cute! The decorations are very eye pleasing and add to the experience. All the staff are so nice too, they made sure to check on us and update us. It was very busy when we went so it took a little while to get our food but it was so worth the wait, I'd wait like 3 hours for this place! Everything is fresh and delicious. They even box your food for you, it is a great brunch cafe.

We are big supporters of local businesses and even more so when breakfast is included. I'll start off with the food as it's the biggest thing for us. What we ordered: Burrito - Was so good! I liked that they use Yukon potatoes over red, so it's a nicer bite. We added avocado to ours and it was perfect. Breakfast sandwich special- This sandwich was surprisingly really good! And what I mean by surprising, it didn't have the usual sandwich flavor, which i think has to do with the maple aioli. Brown sugar scone- This tasted like cinnamon tasted crunch cereal and I wasn't mad about it. It wasn't overly sweet, which I was thankful for, and was the perfect balance to my latte. Lemon poppyseed muffin- It was surprisingly not as lemony as I'm used to, but it was nice for those who don't like the strong taste of lemon. For example, my husband doesn't care too much for lemon pastries, but did enjoy eating half the muffin. Both the burrito and sandwich came with a salad, which was delicious! The balsamic, feta, strawberries and pickled radishes was definitely a great combination. The service was awesome! Everyone is friendly and kind, you can tell they are wanting their guest to enjoy their food and time while being in the restaurant. The restaurant is so cute! I love the color palette, the furniture and space. It give the feeling of going to an open home with space to be able to see and enjoy without feeling claustrophobic from the amount of unnecessary items. It can get a little noisy, depending on the time of day you're going, but that's pretty common for smaller spaces. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star rating is due to their coffee. And all of this is said in a personal opinion, others may think differently. I am not a fan of the beans they use, which I know who they are and have tried the coffee before. I think that coffee is "OK" at best as regular drip coffee, and did not like it brewed as espresso due to the flavor it produced. We went to our go-to drinks for first time coffee places. What we ordered: Iced mocha- they use ganache, which is fine, but the chocolate doesn't blend well with the coffee. It needs extra sweetness if that coffee bean is going to be used. Oat vanilla bean latte- the vanilla bean, which is homemade syrup, was the saving grace for the drink. I would to taste it with different coffee as the espresso overpowered the whole drink. I would definitely come back! This place is perfect for a date or a girls brunch.

While I typically avoid paying premium prices for coffee, I decided to treat myself and finally give this location a try. Upon entering, I was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and placed an order for three iced coffees, which I stated clearly. When my order was delivered, two of the drinks were iced, while one was served hot. I calmly and politely mentioned that all three were supposed to be iced coffees. At that point, I overheard an employee respond in the background with an attitude, stating that I had ordered the drink hot. I fully understand that mistakes can happen--orders can be entered incorrectly, and errors are part of any service environment. However, my concern lies with the dismissive attitude and the decision to challenge the customer's request in front of them. This interaction left a poor impression, and as a result, I do not plan to return to this establishment. I will instead continue supporting my usual coffee shops.

Given the multitude of licenses at stake in such enterprises, I wish to share my recent experience at this location. This morning, my husband and I visited, and we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of our orders. He ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, while I ordered an oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso at a temperature of 200 degrees. He also selected a ham, cheese, and egg croissant, and I opted for a bacon and cheese croissant. Regrettably, the items did not meet our expectations. The beverages lacked the desired strength; although the temperature was correct, I was informed after placing our order that they were out of oat milk and had to substitute it with almond milk. Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.

After checking out their extensive wall menu, I ordered a plain Bagel with Lox, an Asai bowl and a Sea Salt Caramel iced coffee to go. Like I mentioned above, they have an extensive menu which really impressed me. I was also impressed by their super large espresso machine. My order took about ten minutes to prepare and I headed off with my bag and drink towards home. At the house and before tearing into my food, my camera ate first. My Bagel with Lox was dynamite. Super thick cut of fresh salmon with cream cheese, capers, onion and cucumbers gave the sandwich a nice crunch. My Sea Salt Caramel coffee was great and their Asai bowls are impressive.
