Pumpkin Patch with the Russian River Valley as backdrop…read more We were driving along the Russian River Valley and saw signs along the road leading to this pumpkin patch so we stopped by to check it out. This is a family-run, community-oriented farm in the Sonoma County. The owner was nice and friendly. During our visit he only required that masks be worn at the check-in tent or when we paid for any purchases towards the end (at exit), other than that we just needed to be mindful of keeping 6-ft distance from other patrons. I forgot to bring my mask with me but they supplied a disposable one and I didn't have to run back to the car. The farm field was pretty big and there are pumpkins everywhere, direction of the field was one way so we followed the path, went through a cornfield (don't worry, it's not a maze) and made our way around until the exit. The pumpkin patch will be operating until Halloween. Enjoy lots of pumpkins, decorative gourds, winter squash and lots more. They don't have a corn maze, or fancy rides and bouncy houses which is okay with me. We enjoyed an authentic farm experience and the beautiful backdrop of the Russian River Valley. Review #2415

I was short on time, and didn't feel like waiting or looking for someone. The location is pretty cool, except the long dirt driveway that is guaranteed to get your car dirty. The nice picnic area out front will be great for a break between wineries. Can't wait for the fresh vegi's. I'll stop by after using Riverfront Regional Park.

Plus, I didn't want to have to do all the shopping and cleanup. On a scale of 1-10, the meals have ranged from 7 to 9. Totally acceptable considering the cost and convenience. I went with the Zone meals and at first I was skeptical about not being able to choose my meals, but in the end it was kinda nice to just come home and eat what was ready to go. It was the same feeling as when I was a kid and would come home and ask, "What's for dinner?" Initially I did a 3 day trial and they threw in some nice snacks and a couple of lunches to try - I was only ordering the breakfasts and dinners. They threw in some free snacks as well but they seemed a little overpriced for what you got. First week menu: Pumpkin Walnut muffin with soy butter and fruit Chicken Pecan Salad BBQ Pork Loin w/ fried okra and broccoli Red Pepper Fritatta Turkey Wrap Chicken Marsala Waffles and Turkey Sausage ?? Poached Salmon w/ cream sauce over bow tie pasta All the dishes re-heat nicely, even a few days later. I just signed up for 2 more weeks.

Pizzaleah - Red sauce is preferred for us but JFC the Nico pie kept getting tastier as we ate more of it.

I ordered their Margarita pizza which was cooked perfectly. The sauce was very tasty and complemented the thin style crust which was crispy with a little char. I ordered the their Roo pizza to take home. If you like mushrooms, this hits that craving. They also offer some different brewey choices you might not find at mainstream pizzerias. It turns out that Leah works Sundays so i got to watch her in action. Her passion and attention to detail is exactly what i was looking for in a pizzeria. It was a pleasure for the Legend General to meet her and converse about her great pizza. It was a very nice atmosphere and good experience. It's Definitely worth the stop if your traveling through the area. I highly recommend Pizzaleah!

But I'm honestly not joking when I say I prefer Pizza Leah to anything I had there. I don't understand how they get the crust like this. It's perfectly chewy and just cooked exactly right. Usually I like the crust but don't love it. Here, I actually do love it. I've been here at least 15 times and I've tried pretty much everything on the menu. My two favorites are the Roo's and the Po-Tay-To. I love how the place is laid out. You can see into the kitchen, and the eating area is exactly what I think a pizza place should look like. It just feels comfortable. One time on my birthday, my wife picked up the pizza and didn't realize that they gave her the wrong one until she got home. She called and went back to get the right one, and when she got there they had forgotten to remake it, so she had to wait. She was honestly pretty mad at that point after making two trips, which I don't blame her for at all. But they were so apologetic that they ended up giving us the pizza for free, and that honestly made up for everything and turned it into a really nice surprise. She got over it pretty quickly after that. Funny enough, it worked out as two trips for two pizzas, and my birthday is 2/2. Now whenever I eat pizza anywhere else, I end up comparing it to Pizza Leah. Other places have good pizza, but this one just checks every single box for me. It just is the perfect pizza for me.
