I brought my 2015 Kia Rio to this Caliber Collision location on Sherman Way hoping it was better than my last horrible experience I had at a different Caliber Collision location on Reseda Blvd. The service I received this time and then overall experience was like night and day from the time before. The female receptionist was extremely friendly and very accommodating. She made sure I understood everything before I signed it, called the rental car location for me to get a courtesy shuttle for me and always had a smile on her face, which was refreshing. While my car was in the shop, I was kept in the loop about the progress of my vehicle's repairs via daily texts from the shop. Orlando was my technician who was also very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. He reached out to me when he found some additional work needed to be done to get my approval, rather than just doing the additional repairs without my consent (like the last experience I had at the Reseda location). They didn't have the type of tape my car needed, but they had a similar one. So instead of having two mismatched tapes going around the body of my car, they replace all the tape on my car for no additional charge. And I was advised that my car would be ready 5/22 and it was done two days early, which was awesome. The Reseda location of this franchise could learn a thing or ten from the Sherman Way location --- first and foremost being decent customer service and professionalism. Caliber Collision in Winnetka was recommended to me by a family member. I was involved in a collision and needed my car fixed. So I decided to try them out as I haven't been happy with other shops in the area. I spoke to David Gomez when I came to the shop. He walked me threw the process that would be conducted to make sure my car would be back to its original look. I decided to leave my car to get repairs done. Apparently there were extra cost to the repairs, but I didn't have to worry about anything, David took care of it with the adjuster and got my car fixed. When I picked up my car i was shocked to see how they brought the life back to my car. They did an amazing job!!! I was completely satisfied with the customer service and the work done on my car. This place does not want business!! I first stopped at the Reseda location and they seemed so annoyed by me just wanting an estimate . "So you want us to just look at it and give you a price?" Yeah morons!! They're all just sitting around and couldn't be bothered to get up . I thought, maybe it's just this location...wrong! I also went to the Sherman Way location. I walk in, three dudes just watching youtube videos. Only one person there can give an estimate but of course he's too busy. They take some picture and say they'll get back to be . 4 days later...nothing. I'm assuming all these guys are independently wealthy and don't actually need the money or something ?? STAY AWAY!, I repeat STAY AWAY!!!, i don't know who has left these positive reviews maybe their friends and family, because I ignored a previous negative post, I learned to regret that decision, nearly two months and vehicle is not ready, i had to reach out numerous times to get information from them and get insurance company involved, possibly as retaliation for that they give me a vehicle that stalled on me on a highway, putting my family's life at risk because as stated by Vince they gave me a vehicle without oil where the repair was done. To make matters worse! accessories tend to go missing and when you take vehicle for it,another accessory goes missing and they charge insurance for accessories that were already there to begin with. After poking around on Yelp, we settled on this particular branch of Caliber. Top to bottom, it was fantastic. We had our insurance claim all set to go, so that helped. But the staff in the front office was pleasant and easy-going, the manager ran me through the details quickly, car was done faster than I expected, and they even invited us back to do a quick optional tweak on our repair.
