Advocate for yourself and make your insurance company aware of your expectations so they can work with your shop of choice. The consumer needs to understand that there are situations that a body shop can't control like getting an insurance approval for hidden or additional damages. Some insurance companies are not quick to respond to a body shops requested additional inspections creating delays for the shop and the consumer. These situations are unfortunate but not the body shops fault. The body shop and the insurance company have guidelines to follow that sometimes don't align causing misunderstandings that the consumer doesn't understand. There are part delays, hidden damages, approval delays. Unrelated damages or paint concerns that a body shop needs to deal with and a consumer will not understand. I heard from this place through my service provider at Porsche and I'm actually happy they told me about Precision Auto body. I came in three weeks ago showed them what needed to be replace on my car doors, which was fading away really bad from the sun. I had the pleasure to work with Juan, and he was very nice and easy going. Very good customer service that made me feel comfortable having Precision work on my car. They saw the problem and said that they could fix the issue and with good costs. New parts and fixed perfectly with a fair price. I was able to order my parts and when they came in, I could make an appointment to get the job done. However, I did had to call my self to see if parts was in, but they gave me a day to come in the next few days. I brought it in today and was very pleased. I brought my car in around 8:30 and it was finished by 4:30pm. Though I had to end up paying more than expected because they had more labor to do because of the bolts, but it was ok because once my car was complete it was very good quality and value. Once I picked up my car it look as if I had a brand new car, it was perfect! My car was shining and I was very impressed. Overall, I will def come back FOR SURE! I like how they have professionalism, class, and quaint sitting area that is clean. Despite the fact of me having to call on my own was ok because it is what it is, and the costs of more labor at last minute, which was not anyones fault, it was just my car being tricky and different in order to complete the job. Took my 2018 Tesla Model X here after a small incident while I was in town. The team--Julia, Karo, Ruben, and Luis--took great care of me. They replaced the rear spoiler and did a solid job. Perhaps Precision does good work. I don't know. I didn't get far enough to find out. I got as far as their estimator Sara (Sarah?). If you want truly lousy service, ask for her - if you insist on going there. She will not disappoint. Since Sara has starred negatively on Yelp before, it suggests that issues at Precision are not just skin deep. I brought my car in for repair. Sara advised that she has to contact the manufacturer for parts availability. She said she'd get back to me. She didn't. I called and left a message for her to call me. She didn't. Almost a whole month, after my visit she called and told me she has the information she needed. Right. The car had already been repaired by the time she called. All Pro Collision on Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana. (They did an excellent job). It took them a few days to get the parts and while they were waiting they completed the bodywork and paint. And, by the way, they twice called me to provide updates while the car was in their shop. Aside from losing my business, and losing money for the repair shop, (and getting this review), calling as promised and calling back when a message is left for you is a matter of nominal respect and good old courtesy. I had a front hood paint job and buffering due to a tree landed it it the whole experience was great! Everyone was very nice! Very welcoming and non judgmental. This is important to me now a days. The two reception ladies were very kind and welcoming as well. The fix-up took about 9 days and they (Scott) kept me updated every step of the way! They drove me to my rental car place as well- which was very convenient! The driver was super nice and friendly as well! They did an amazing job !! My car is bright, shiny and new! Horrible service. They told me my car would take 6 weeks and it took nearly 3 months for the repair. They also did a very poor job and I had to take it back to correct it (there is no quality control), which took even longer. They only wanted the job and promised it all and then delivered on less than half - they do not care about their customers, nor their cars. The rep never once called or emailed me, I had to check in again and again, with promises made and never kept. The manager was no better. I informed my insurance company regarding all of this. First, I'd like to say Gabriel and his team are beyond professional. When I arrived to pick up my car, it looked better than when I bought it off the dealership. Their staff, from reception to the detailers have treated me amazing and all have been extremely friendly. My Audi A4 was hit on the rear driver side, braking the taillight, the bottom reflector, and damaged my bumper and side fender. I called Audi Calabasas and they recommended Precision, as they are Audi certified. Allstate provided their estimate and low balled all repairs, but Gabe and team took care of every issue with the new estimate and handled all my insurance communications. They completely went above all to make sure I didn't have any extra stress. It's hard to express tone over text, but oh my god I'm so happy right now! They washed, waxed and detailed my car... and now I'm probably going to have a photo shoot later. Thank you Gabriel, and thank you to the rest of the precision team! 10/10 read more

I just picked up my vehicle today from the shop. Overall they did a good job on my truck. My review is going based on the Customer service , Jose was the person in charge on my process. He did tell my husband it would take 6-7 weeks for my truck to be ready Yet again when I called he said he would have it ready by the 5th week , then he extended it by the 17th and said he would give me a call to let me know if he would have it ready or not I never received a call or any sort of update unless I personally called. I ended up paying an extra 2 1/2 weeks for my rental since they couldn't make up their mind of when they would have my vehicle ready. Will be my last time coming here, I wouldn't recommend this shop due to the lack of communication and poor service . read more

I took my 2009 BMW 328 Sports Coupe there to have my rocker panel repainted. The panel had been painted by Bob Smith BMW before I purchased the car. Bob Smith had done a terrible job. Precision gave me a fair price and told me it would be done in about 4 days. Short story short, they did a perfect job on time. I will go back there for any future paint and body needs. Once I picked up the car it looks as if you are driving off the 'Show Room' with a new car. They advised the car will take two weeks to repair and they had the care ready less then two weeks. Recently, I took my Audi A5 Sportback to Precision Auto Body for some warranty work on my bumper that I wanted to have done. I was there for an accident before that, and they did great work. But I have to tell you, George Gofnung and his supervisor I worked with now, were total professionals. Not only did they take care of my car, they took care of me. My car was in their shop for a week and I had no rental coverage. They took care of that. I had an other area with some chipped paint. They took care of that too. They went the extra mile to take care of me, and my car, by going "over and above" what was just required for the job. I usually do not post reviews, but I need to share my experience with Precision Auto Body. Beware of this repair facility! Juan "General Manager" is fantastic in convincing you to bring your vehicle to them, toting and referencing his credentials that are predominantly posted at the front desk. He will explain to you how "he is the best in the area" and "highly favored by the manufacturer" (Porsche). Once you get it there that tone and demeanor changes to extremely condescending, rude, & disrespectful. He will practice tactics to delay tasks pertaining to repair so he can bill $145 per day in storage fees. He will tell you tales about how "the insurance company is not calling him back", "he is doing everything he can", & my favorite "your car is not the only one I am working on". When I asked him to continue through our insurance instead of the insurance company of the vehicle that hit us, he updated the repair invoice and added over $3,000 for "items he missed when he wrote the original estimate", keep in mind the teardown was never done, as we did not get to that point in the 34 days my vehicle sat in the outdoor storage area at $145 per day. Today, I picked up my vehicle and took it to a more reputable facility. I will be filing a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair and any other governing agency available to consumers. This is solely my experience, and I wish to share it with others so a more conscious decision can be made. BEWARE! read more
