BEWARE SCAM TOW TRUCK COMPANY AND PRECISE AUTO BODY!!! ON February 20th I was involved in an 3 car auto accident. I was really shooken up, scared, alone, my little dog was with me and it was raining outside. As I'm waiting for help I get a call from a call center letting me know that they were alerted that I had been in a car accident and asked if I was ok and proceeded to tell me that a tow truck was on their way to pick up my car and they would text me to let me know where they were taking my car Precise Auto Body is where they took it and claimed it was a Honda Certified auto body shop. After a few minutes of talking to them I thought to myself who is this, how did you get my number and how did you know I had been in an accident. They proceeded to tell me that when I bought my car I had some kind of device on my car that alerted them. The next day after I was calmed down I thought WOW THIS IS GREAT I didn't have to do a darn thing when I got into the accident. I wanted to know more about what kind of device it was I had on my car. So I proceeded to call Hondas corporate office to see if I could get more information. Mind you my car is an older model 2012 Honda accord. When talking to the Honda dealer I was informed that because my older car was older I DID NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF TRACKING DEVICE ON MY CAR NOR DID I HAVE HONDA LINK which is a device on the newer honda cars that do call out to a call center when there is a accident MY 2012 DID NOT HAVE THAT! When the tow truck company (PRO FAST TOW) got there to tow my vehicle they told me they were going to tow me to a Honda certified body shop (PRECISE AUTO BODY). THIS IS NOT A HONDA CERTIFIED BODY SHOP! I found that out also by talking to Honda's corporate office. The next morning I get a call from Ashley at the PRECISE AUTO BODY and she tells me that I need to come in and sign papers to release the car to them. I get there and my car is not there. Ashley tells me they didn't have room for my car to be parked on their lot and that my car had been moved over to another area. Where my car was moved was basically a residential area back yard where they keep their cars if they don't have room on their property or so I was told. They as well keep their totaled cars there. Now mind you this is someone's back yard, all dirt, it was muddy because it had rained the night before. And all I saw in this backyard were CARS THAT WERE TOTALLED. So it made me think that the AUTO BODY SHOP already knew my car was totaled and my insurance adjuster hadn't even showed up yet. When I talked to my insurance company they asked me if they could come and get my car and tow it to one of their yards which it wouldn't have cost anything TO BE STORED THERE. I thought to myself no just leave it at PRECISE AUTO BODY its close to home and my insurance company was going to move my car further away from me to Hollywood. ME NOT KNOWING that Precise Auto Body was GOING TO CHARGE MY INSURANCE A ABSURD AMOUNT OF MONEY AND THEN MY INSURANCE WOULD DEDUCT IT FROM THE MONEY THAT was owed to me for my totaled car. I WOULD HAVE HAD THEM MOVE IT OR I MYSELF WOULD HAVE HAD IT TOWED OUT OF THERE. WHICH WAS MENTIONED TO ASHLEY ABOUT ME TOWING IT OUT OF THERE. This makes me think that PRECISE AUTO BODY AND PRO FAST TOWING ARE IN THIS SCAM TOGETHER. I have posted the text from the call center. They let me know where they were taking my car. When I call PRO FAST TOWNG now NOBODY ANSWERS NOR CAN I LOOK THEM UP, YOU CAN'T FIND THAT COMPANY. I posted the absurd invoice for storage fee $1400 storage fee $200 for 7 days THATS ABSURD, a fork lift fee of $275 a forklift FOR WHAT? A clean up fee of $560.00 WTF did they have to clean up and a towing fee for $560.00. WHAT? Total charges my insurance paid to get my car out was $2485.00. ABSURD! And a big chunk of it was taken from me that was deducted from the check that was made out to me for the loss of my car. Oh yeah they gave me part of it back. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR TOWED HERE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU WHEN YOU ARE IN A VULNERABLE STATE. Shady auto body shop that works with a fake towing company called Pro Fast Towing and fake witnesses to get your information and pose as your car dealership to get you towed to their body shop. I was on the side of the road after I had been in a hit and run accident, I was waiting for the police to show up. This woman named "Sheyla" pulled up behind me in a black Tesla and asked if I had been in a accident, she claimed to have caught it on her Tesla's camera and offered to send me the video, she made up a whole story how she tried chasing the person who hit me. After exchanging numbers with her, a few minutes later I'm getting a call from my dealership "Tesla" the woman on the phone said her name was Amanda, asking me all these questions, saying my car might be unsafe to drive and saying they offer a complementary tow to the closest Tesla certified auto body shop which was Precise Auto so it can be inspected. I asked her if it could be towed to a different body shop that I know is Tesla certified. She said no because it's "not coming up in her system". Which was weird because on Tesla's website the body shop I mentioned is on their website and I know for a fact they are Tesla certified. I was honestly in such a panicked state and so overwhelmed from being hit that I just agreed but I told her I was waiting on the police to show up because they told me to stay put a unit was on their way. A few minutes later Amanda from "Tesla" called me back saying she spoke to LAPD and no one is on the case, no one is coming. I was so stressed I just let them tow my car when the tow truck arrived. They were both pretty adamant about getting my car out of there before the police showed up. The police did show up by the way, I had already went home and they called looking for me. They ended up coming to my house to take a statement. So Amanda lied about that too. The next day I gave Precise Auto a call asking for an update and not only did they have a hard time locating my car they said it hadn't been inspected yet. They need me to come in and sign paperwork. I get there and I want my car out of their shop, I wanted to take it to my body shop and they were saying Tesla this Tesla that it's unsafe. Mind you the damage wasn't extreme to the point the bumper is falling off. I ended up signing the paperwork (which was so dumb, I should've just driven my car off the lot) I ended up calling Tesla and they said they do not offer complimentary tows and there is no log in my account I requested any kind of service. As soon as I realized it was fraud I gave them a call back saying I need the car out. I had Sentry mode on the whole time and have video proof they didn't work on or touch my car at all. The guy "Alex" became really rude on the phone, giving me more excuses. I just wanted it out and they wanted to charge me $2,900 to get my car back. My lawyer was able to get it out for less. This has been such a headache having to deal with fraud on top of my hit and run. Please be extremely cautious and don't let anyone tow your car. Don't let this happen to you. Don't give this shady auto body shop your business. If only there was an option to give them 0 stars. read more

Car was taken there after the accident. It took 2 months and some change before it was repaired, and I got it back. Here is a timeline of the events I went through. Went through the scam tow truck ordeal, where they called saying they were from my dealership and that they were sending the car to an authorized repair facility. Although the reception desk was helpful, and tried their best to answer questions, I was still given the run around. 3/10/24- Car went to precise autobody 3/11/24- Received call to come in and do paperwork authorizing the repair 4/2/24- Called to ask for status was they were waiting on some parts, they were working on the parts that did arrive but to call them towards the end of the month 4/25/24-Called them to find out the status, was told they were waiting on an additional part, they found something else that was broken and needed to be repaired 4/30/24- Called car needed to go to paint 5/2/24- Called was told the car was in paint, and to call back Monday 5/6/24- Called to see what the status was, I was told that the car would be available today Friday 5/10/2024. But they said to call back Thursday 5/9/2024 to confirm 5/9/24- was told that the car just needed to pass alignment and that if it did it would be available Friday. 5/10/24- Called was told that it wouldn't be available until Mon-Wed next week. 5/13/24- Called asked what else the car needed and when it would be done. Was told the person in charge of parts was not there but the car would be done 5/15/24, 5/15/24- Called to see; they said they needed to reset modules and what not, so the car would be done Friday 5/17/24. 5/17/24- Was told the car would be done Today but I should call them to confirm. They called me to inform me that the vehicle failed alignment and that it would be ready Monday 5/20/24 but to call to make sure. 5/20/24 - Was under the impression that the car just needed alignment, was told they are waiting for a rim from the dealer. Shipped Overnight but still waiting but car will "definitely" be done tomorrow 5/21/24 5/21/24- Called vehicle will be ready at 4:30pm TO be fair the vehicle drives well, no weird sounds, handles just like before the accident. Some of the "charges" from the report seemed like they were trying to pad out charges to the limit of what my insurance covered. i.e 1.5 manual labor charge to place stickers? read more
